Nani, Posani try hard to cover up their allegations

1

Former minister and Gudivada MLA Kodali Nani tried to cover up his allegations against film actor Chiranjeevi. Participating in Chiranjeevi’s birthday celebrations on Tuesday in Gudivada, Nani said that he did not criticise Chiranjeevi for his remarks on AP politics.

“We have clarity on our relationship with the Megastar. We understand each other very well. There are no misunderstandings between us,” Kodali Nani said. He said over 60 per cent of his supporters in the constituency are fans of the Megastar. “My comments were against Pawan Kalyan and not Chiranjeevi,” the firebrand MLA who often lets his tongue lose, said.

It may be mentioned here that Kodali Nani had given a serious retort on the day when Chiranjeevi advised the AP politicians to concentrate on laying roads and developing the state rather than finding fault with the film industry. Perhaps he was referring to a statement made by YSR Congress MP, V Vijayasai Reddy in the Rajya Sabha during the passing of 2023 Cinematography bill.

Kodali Nani also advised the film industry to mind their work and not dare to give advice to the ruling party. Now, he said his comments were not against Chiranjeevi.

Meanwhile, another actor and chairman of AP Film Development Corporation Posani Krishna Murali came before the media and said that his charges against TDP general secretary Nara Lokesh were facts. He said Lokesh and his family members have purchased 14 acres of land outside Amaravati.

Earlier, he alleged that Lokesh had purchased 14 acres of land near Amaravati. It was on this charge that Lokesh had filed a defamation case against Posani in Mangalagiri Munsif Magistrate court.

Posani said that his comment was on the family purchasing the land and asserted that he was ready to prove it. He said “whether Lokesh purchased, or his family members purchased the land, it all belongs to Lokesh, and my charge stands right,” he said.

“If Heritage Group purchases a land, does it not belong to Lokesh and his family members,” he asked, giving clarity on his charge against Lokesh.

Defeat Kodali Nani, BJP leader tells people

0

Senior BJP leader and AP incharge, Sunil Deodhar, on Wednesday made an appeal to the people of Gudivada Assembly constituency to defeat sitting MLA and former minister Kodali Nani in the next elections. He said people like Kodali Nani should not enter the Assembly anymore.

Sunil Deodhar visited Gudivada on Wednesday to participate in the party programme. He addressed the party workers where he spoke about the YSR Congress MLA. He said that Kodali Nani had become popular in politics by using filthy language against the rivals.

He said that Nani had no vision or mission except speaking filthy language and abusing the rivals and his critics. He further said that the MLA had turned the Pongal festival into a dance event. He recalled how the former minister conducted casino and cabaret dances in the town.

He said that Nani, being a minister, had conducted a casino and wondered how the government had allowed him to do so. He further alleged that Nani was spoiling the youth with all evil activities. He said that the image of Andhra Pradesh was going down because of leaders like Kodali Nani and wanted the people to defeat him in the next elections.

He also alleged that Kodali Nani had done nothing for the town during his stint as MLA and later Minister in the last two decades. He dared the former minister to show one developmental work that was done in the constituency by Kodali Nani.

Later, Sunil Deodhar accompanied the party workers to the local police station, where they gave a complaint on problems of Gudivada town and the Assembly constituency.

Vamsi, Nani under fire from within YSRCP

0

As elections are fast approaching, the squabbles among the aspirants are taking new twists and turns in Andhra Pradesh politics. It was Kotamreddy Sridhar Reddy and Anam Ramanarayana Reddy who, the other day, made allegations of phone tapping and attempt to murder against their own party leadership.

Now, it was the turn of Yarlagadda Venkatrao to make high voltage charges against MLAs Kodali Nani and Vallabhaneni Vamsi. While Nani had been with the YSR Congress for some years, Vamsi defected to the party from the TDP after the 2019 general election.

Vamsi’s entry into the party ruined the chances of Yarlagadda Venkatrao from contesting once again from Gannavaram Assembly constituency. Venktrao lost to Vamsi in the 2019 general election and was subsequently made the chairman of the Krishna District Central Cooperative Bank.

He had pinned hopes of contesting once again from Gannavaram but lost the hopes with the entry of Vamsi into the party. Vamsi and Kodali Nani are close friends and have total grip over the Gannavaram and Gudivada Assembly segments.

Having lost the hope of contesting again, Venkatrao is haunting both Vamsi and Nani day in and day out. He is openly criticising both the legislators and is said to be joining the opposition TDP in the months to come.

The situation is no different in Mylavaram Assembly constituency in the NTR district. Sitting MLA Vasantha Venkata Krishna Prasad is facing stiff opposition from minister for Housing, Jogi Ramesh, who is eyeing on contesting again from here. He is currently representing the Pedana Assembly constituency in Krishna district.

Jogi Ramesh lost the 2014 elections from Mylavaram constituency and wants to test his fate once again from here. Unable to withstand the pressure being mounted by the minister, the MLA is looking at the TDP and is making negative comments against the minister at the public meetings.

Kodali Nani says Devineni, Velagapudi killed Ranga

0

Former minister and YSR Congress MLA Kodali Nani alleged that TDP leaders Devineni Umamaheswara Rao and Velagapudi Ramakrishna were accused of killing then Congress MLA Vangaveeti Mohana Ranga Rao.

Ranga was killed in the early hours of December 26, 1988, when he was in a hunger strike seeking protection. It was alleged that the TDP leaders who were in power then, were involved in the murder, while some of them have executed the murder.

However, with Ranga’s son Radhakrishna joining the TDP, the TDP leaders have organised the death anniversary of Ranga on Monday. A meeting was thus organised in Gudivada which raised controversy forcing the police to intervene.

The police have detained former minister Kollu Ravindra and others from visiting Gudivada asking him not to cause law and order problem. The police told the TDP leaders to allow their local leaders to organise the event and keep non-locals out of it.

Accordingly, former MLA and senior TDP leader Ravi Venkateswara Rao organised the death anniversary of Ranga, while the ruling YSR Congress leaders too held the event separately.

Addressing the activists, Kodali Nani alleged that the TDP had no right to organise death anniversary of Vangaveeti Ranga. Alleging that the TDP leaders killed the MLA, he asked how the killers would organise the death anniversary!

He said that the people of the two Telugu states were aware of the murder of Vangaveeti Ranga and would not accept the TDP leaders organising the death anniversary by the TDP.

Nani, Vamsi swallowed Rs 1100 cr with Tadepalli palace blessings, says Pattabhi

0

Telugu Desam Party (TDP) spokesman, Kommireddy Pattabhiram, on Friday said that a fresh scam involving Rs 1100 crore has come to light in the State.

Talking to media persons at the party headquarters Pattabhiram said that the role of the YSRCP MLAs, Kodali Nani and Vallabhaneni Vamsi, in this scandal should be probed both by the State Government and the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). Observing that there is no limit for the financial scandals involving the YSRCP MLAs in this State being ruled by financial extremist, Jagan Mohan Reddy, the TDP spokesman said stories on the ruling party leaders grabbing the lands of the poor and harassing them have been coming to light regularly.

Now, the true colours of a YSRCP MLA, who migrated from the TDP to the now ruling party only for power and to make money, are exposed, Pattabhiram added. Narrating the details of the latest scam, Pattabhiram said that Kodali Nani and Vamsi under the supervision of their close associate, Olupalli Ranga, have formed a bogus unit in the name of Sankalpa Siddhi, through which they amassed Rs 1100 cr. These leaders, who are well aware of their defeat in the coming polls, are making such a huge amount of money only to purchase votes in the next elections, he stated.

This Sankalpa Siddghi and the Ekart India Private Limited are conducting their operations making Gudivada and Gannavaram as headquarters under the supervision of Ranga but Gutta Venugopal Krishna and Gutta Kiran as binamis, Pattabhiram stated. Their initial investment was a mere Rs 1 lakh when they established it on May 17, 2022 but within such a short time they made a whooping Rs 1100 cr, he pointed out.

This thoroughly exposes how Kodali Nani and Vamsi looted the poor and how Volupalli Ranga, who is a close associate of Nani, cheated the public. The agents of the Ekart Pvt Ltd and the Sankalpa Siddhi, cheated the common man by promising Rs 200 payment per day if one invests Rs 20,000 besides paying Rs 60,000 in just 10 months, Pattabhiram explained.

Amaravati yatra is by Kamma terrorists, says Kodali

2

Former minister and Gudivada MLA, Kodali Srivenkateswara Rao, on Monday alleged that a section of Kamma terrorists were participating in the Amaravati padayatra. He told media persons that the people of 29 villages were not supporting the padayatra or not in favour of the capital in Amaravati.

He alleged that a section of Kamma investors led by TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu, were trying to mislead the people in the name of capital. He also alleged that a group of defeated Kamma leaders had come to Gudivada to defeat him. He asserted that no force would be able to defeat him.

Kodali Nani, as he is popularly known, said that it would take 200 years for any government to build Amaravati. Instead, Jagan Mohan Reddy had come up with an innovative plan to develop three regions with minimum investment and the minimum expenditure.

He made an appeal to the people not to buy the lies of the TDP chief on Amaravati. He also made an appeal to the people not to fall prey to the fake statements of the farmers of Amaravati who have been leading a fake agitation.

Referring to Chiranjeevi’s comments on Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan, the Gudivada MLAs said that Pawan Kalyan does not require the support of Chiranjeevi as long as Pawan Kalyan takes the support of Chandrababu Naidu. He alleged that Pawan Kalyan was running his party only to support Chandrababu Naidu.

On Bharat Rastra Party (BRS), the former minister said that it would not have any impact on the ruling YSR Congress in Andhra Pradesh. However, he said the 2024 general elections would reveal what the BRS is going to do in Andhra Pradesh or any other state.

“KCR has been the chief minister since 2014. He was elected for two terms. Maybe now, he wants to become the Prime Minister. We don’t know what is in store for him,” Kodali Nani said.

Kodali Nani blames TDP on Madhav’s video row

1

Gudivada firebrand MLA and former minister Kodali Nani pointed an accusing finger at the TDP for the MP Gorantla Madhav’s nude video. He expressed doubts over the TDP’s role in creating the video and circulating it in the social media.

Kodali Nani said that the TDP is known for spreading fake news and fake documents with the support of its media and different sources. He alleged that TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu was a synonym for creation of fake news and fake documents.

The former minister wondered how the TDP leaders got the video call made by Madhav, if their role and participation is not there. While rejecting the video as original, the former minister said that the TDP leaders must have created it in their office to defame the MP and the ruling YSR Congress as well.

Referring to a forensic report brought from US by the TDP leaders on the video, the former minister said that like the forensic report, the video too was created in the TDP office. He wondered how a video recorded while being played in another mobile could be called an original video.

He also advised the TDP leaders to send the video clip of the ‘note for vote’ for forensic analysis in the US and get the facts known to the people. He questioned the TDP leaders about what was stopping them from sending the note for vote video for a forensic test in the US lab.

Kodali Nani advised the TDP leaders to stop manufacturing fake documents and fake videos in the party office. He said that people are wise enough to judge the TDP’s claims and they are not ready to accept whatever the TDP leaders claim.

Jana Sena activists hold protest near Kodali Nani’s house

0

The Jana Sena activists held a protest at former minister and YSR Congress MLA Kodali Nani in Gudivada on Friday. As part of the launch of their digital campaign on the bad roads in the state, the Jana Sena activists reached the road leading to the former minister’s residence.

The Jana Sena activists alleged that Kodali Nani had failed to fill the potholes for the road leading to his own house. The damaged road leading to the former minister’s house was not repaired by the state government in the last three years, they said.

The Jana Sena activists tried to reach the former minister’s house raising slogans against the state government and the former minister. They also blamed chief minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy for bad roads in the state.

As they were marching towards the former minister’s house, the local police reached the scene and stopped the Jana Sena activists to move forward. The activists raised slogans against the police and the chief minister for using force against the silent protestors.

When the police tried to arrest the Jana Sena activists, they protested and questioned the police under what sections they are being arrested. They raised slogans against the police asking them to go back.

However, the police stopped the plan to arrest the activists but stopped them from moving forward towards the former minister’s house. After an hour of protest, the Jana Sena activists went back withdrawing the protest. The police heaved a sigh of relief with the Jana Sena activists withdrawing the protest and restoring peace.

Kodali stands for friend Vamsi at Gannavaram

1

Former minister and YSR Congress firebrand leader Kodali Nani stood by his friend and Gannavaram MLA Vallabhaneni Vamsi. He declared that Vamsi would be the party candidate for the 2024 Assembly elections. He made this statement at the party’s Gannavaram Assembly constituency plenary held late on Thursday.

Nani had to make this statement as senior YSR Congress leaders Dr Dutta Ramachandra Rao and Yarlagadda Venkatrao have been making allegations of corruption against Vamsi for the past one year. While Dr Ramachandra Rao had lodged a complaint against Vamsi with the party top leadership, Venkatrao declared his candidature for the next round of elections.

Clearing air, Kodali Nani said that Vamsi would be the party candidate and had asked the rank and file of the party to support Vamsi. While Vamsi was unavailable for the plenary as he was in hospital on health grounds, both Dr Ramachandra Rao and Venkatrao skipped the plenary in the constituency.

The differences with the MLA for senior leaders have gone to the extent of no point of return and the leaders, both Dr Ramachandra Rao and Venkatrao are not ready to share the dais with Vamsi. Though chief minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy himself had intervened and settled the differences between Vamsi and Venkatrao two years ago, things have not changed.

Meanwhile, Venkatrao is said to be preparing the ground to move to the opposition TDP for the next elections. His absence at the party’s plenary is also being analysed as he had made up his mind to switch loyalties.

Jagan Mohan Reddy appointed Venkatrao as the chairman of the Krishna District Cooperative Central Bank, when Vamsi crossed the fence and joined the ruling party. Sources say that Venkatrao is planning to join the TDP and be the candidate for the next elections. TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu too is said to have given clearance for Venkatrao.

Kodali Nani lashes out at TDP chief Naidu

0

Former minister and ruling YSR Congress MLA Kodali Venkateswara Rao (Nani) lashed out at TDP Chief Chandrababu Naidu and a section of the media for propagating false information against the state government.

Speaking to the media at the party central office on Wednesday, the MLA said Chandrababu Naidu, Pawan Kalyan and yellow media are on one stand and trying by all means to defame the government and Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. He said they are behind burning chariots, destroying statues, creating rifts among religions and castes and politicising deaths.

He came down heavily on Naidu and Pawan Kalyan for propagating false information on liquor and medicines of Aurobindo Pharma company that they were adulterated. He said no adulteration was done in Aurobindo Pharma, which has manufacturing units in 24 locations.

He reminded that it was Naidu who owns Heritage Foods which was banned in Kerala and Tamil Nadu in 2012 for adulteration of milk. He also slammed Naidu and yellow media for propagating false information on MP V Vijayasai Reddy and his daughter in regard to cruise ships in Vishakapatnam.

Kodali Nani, Vamsi intrude into Lokesh meet

0

Two of the ruling YSR Congress leaders have intruded into the virtual meeting of TDP general secretary Nara Lokesh on Thursday, giving a surprise to everyone. Shocked and annoyed, Lokesh hit the ruling party and the state government hard, blaming them for its failure to conduct the SSC examinations.

Lokesh also hit at the YSR Congress leaders for intruding into his meeting only to disturb the meeting. He dared them to answer his questions on the SSC examinations and the poor results where over 2000 students failed.

The two leaders who intruded into the Lokesh meeting are former minister Kodali Nani and Gannavaram MLA Vallabhaneni Vamsi Mohan. Interestingly, these two leaders always target Lokesh and hurl abuses at him. It was these two leaders who called him Pappu and popularised it too.

When Lokesh was holding a virtual meeting with the Class X students, Vamsi joined the meeting from his account, while Kodali Nani joined the meeting using a fake account. Annoyed at this, Lokesh criticised the YSR Congress leaders for disturbing the meeting.

He alleged that the YSR Congress leaders were also intruding into the private lives of the people, besides indulging in several irregularities. He said that the government had failed on all fronts, taking the state backward.

As Lokesh was criticising the government and the ruling party, both Vamsi and Nani left the virtual meeting.

Let TDP, Jana Sena fight for 24 seats, says Kodali Nani

1

Former minister and firebrand leader of the YSR Congress, Kodali Nani, always has a different style in targeting the opposition parties. He hits hard, uses abusive language but gives a direct hitting reply.

He spoke on the TDP-Jana Sena alliance in the next elections where he said that the two parties would have to fight to retain those 24 MLA seats that these two parties have won in the 2019 elections.

The TDP had won 23 Assembly seats while the Jana Sena won a single seat in 2019 general elections. However, three MLAs from the TDP have distanced from the leadership and are working with the ruling YSR Congress. Similarly, the lone-Jana Sena MLA too is closely associated with the YSR Congress.

Thus, the two parties have lost 4 MLA seats – Vallabhaneni Vamsi, Maddali Giridhar and Karanam Balaram from the TDP and Rapaka Varaprasada Rao of Jana Sena. These MLAs are now associated with the YSR Congress bringing TDP strength to 20 and Jana Sena zero.

Kodali Nani discounted the TDP and Jana Sena claim of winning the 2024 elections. He said that these two parties have lost some seats which they won in 2019. “They should now work to retain the 24 MLA seats that they have won in the last election,” Kodali Nani said.

He said that the YSR Congress will retain power in the next election despite the misleading campaign by the opposition and the media. He said people are closely watching the false campaign by the TDP and the media as they are benefited by one scheme or the other.

“People won’t buy the lies of the yellow party and yellow media,” Kodali Nani said. He also discounted the claims of Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan in the 2024 elections and advised Pawan Kalyan to stop daydreaming.

Win as MLA, Kodali Nani tells Pawan Kalyan

0

Former minister and the YSR Congress senior leader Kodali Nani pooh-poohed Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan’s claims of defeating the YSR Congress in the next election. He discounted the claims of the Jana Sena chief and TDP chief on forming opposition unity.

He asked both Chandrababu Naidu and Pawan Kalyan to form a grand alliance of all opposition parties first. He also sought to advise the Jana Sena chief to win as MLA from any constituency in the state before thinking of defeating the YSR Congress.

The former minister also asked the TDP chief to get his son Lokesh and foster son Pawan Kalyan elected to the Assembly from anywhere in the 175 Assembly constituencies in the state. He said both the son and the foster son have lost the 2019 elections, while Naidu himself saw a tough fight at his Kuppam constituency.

He also advised both Chandrababu Naidu and Pawan Kalyan to get the other opposition parties to win at least one assembly seat each, besides winning Lokesh and Pawan before speaking about defeating the YSR Congress and Jagan Mohan Reddy.

Kodali Nani wanted Chandrababu Naidu to focus on retaining the Kuppam constituency, besides getting his son and the foster son elected. He also advised the two leaders to focus on retaining the 23 Assembly seats that the TDP had won in the 2019 elections.

The YSR Congress leaders said that chief minister Jagan Mohan Reddy is not looking for any electoral alliance to retain the power. He claimed that the YSR Congress would win even more seats than the 2019 elections.

He ridiculed the TDP and the Jana Sena leaders for forging alliance two years ahead of the elections. He said that statements of Chandrababu Naidu and Pawan Kalyan show their weakness in the electoral battle.

Kodali’s new twist challenge to Chandrababu Naidu

0

Minister for Civil Supplies in AP, Kodali Sri Venkateswara Rao, alias Kodali Nani is known for his hard hitting comments on TDP supremo N Chandrababu Naidu. He leaves no opportunity to hurl abuses at the TDP leaders, mostly targeting Chandrababu Naidu and his son Nara Lokesh.

The latest is Nani’s free talk on the national party status of the TDP, which the leaders claim. They say that Chandrababu Naidu is the party’s national president and Lokesh is the national general secretary.

Kodali Nani, surprisingly picked up this topic and threw an open challenge to the TDP chief asking him to prove that the TDP is a national party. He wanted the TDP leaders to get a letter from the Election Commission of India stating that the TDP is the national party.

The TDP is present in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and parts of Andaman and Nicobar Islands and Pondicherry. However, the party has no elected representatives either to their respective state legislatures or the Lok Sabha. It is only in Andhra Pradesh they have 23 MLAs, 15 MLCs, 3 Lok Sabha members and one Rajya Sabha member.

The TDP does not fit the bill of the ECI to be declared or recognised as the national party, as it could not win even a single seat in Telangana Assembly in 2018 and no representation in other states where it claims its presence.

Kodali Nani, referring to all these issues, dared the TDP chief to prove that the party is the national party. He said he would quit politics if Naidu proved that the TDP is a national party. He wanted the TDP chief to show him the letter from the ECI recognising the TDP as the national party, If Naidu fails, he should quit politics, dared Kodali Nani. He also wanted the TDP leaders to stop terming Chandrababu Naidu as TDP national president and Nara Lokesh as TDP national general secretary.

Is this why Kodali Nani demanding Bharat Ratna for NTR?

1

What’s behind AP’s loudmouth minister Kodali Nani’s sudden demand for a Bharat Ratna to NTR and YSR? The other day, he surprised everyone by demanding Bharat Ratna for diametrically opposite politicians NTR and YSR. Political watchers say that a lot of deep strategizing has gone into Kodali Nani’s demand.

YSRCP watchers say there are two objectives. First – to divert the attention from the Casino issue and give some breathing time for Kodali Nani. The whole discussion will now turn to whether Kodali Nani has the moral right to talk about NTR. Nani, who is known to conduct his election campaigns with the image of both NTR and YSR, will make the best out of this debate and the casino issue would be pushed to the background.

Secondly, this will help the YSRCP appropriate NTR as an icon. Interestingly, while everyone accepts Hindupur MLA Nandamuri Balakrishna as the filmi heir of late NTR, the opinion is divided among the people about accepting Chandrababu Naidu as NTR’s political heir. By projecting NTR as a great icon and by naming a new district after NTR, the YSRCP wants to rob the TDP of NTR legacy. Kodali Nani’s demand for Bharat Ratna to NTR is also aimed at taking away NTR plank from the TDP. The TDP cannot oppose this and will only go on the defensive on the NTR issue.

But will this be able to bring the politically influential and financially entrepreneurial Kamma community closer to the YSRCP? Unlikely, say political pundits. They say that this is more an attempt aimed at confusing NTR fans and admirers. This will only serve to blunt the attack on the YSRCP as an anti-Kamma outfit. Nani will serve as the spearhead of this strategy, analysts say.

Is Kodali Nani isolated on Casino issue?

0

Has senior minister in YS Jagan Government Kodali Nani been completely isolated in the infamous casino case of Gudivada? Why did the YSRCP not release even a single press note backing Nani? Why no ministerial colleague joined the chorus of support for Nani? Has he been left to defend himself on the issue? These questions are being asked in the casino issue.

Nani has repeatedly clarified that he was not in Gudivada during the sankranthi period and that he was hospitalised. Yet the TDP fact-finding committee has held his responsible for holding casino during the Sankranthi festival season. It is also clear that the TDP is not going to relent on this issue.

However, the YSRCP seems to be ambivalent about Kodali Nani. No one except minister Vellampalli Srinivas came out in Nani’s support. No one has even released a statement supporting him. Even Ani Kumar Yadav remained largely silent. Kodali Nani is left to defend himself and in his desperation, he has become more belligerent and instead of defending himself, he is aggressively attacking Chandrababu Naidu and Lokesh.

The party too has not come out in his support. It appears that a strong section of the YSRCP does not like Nani’s wanton aggression. They also do not seem to support his aggressive statements. It appears that Nani, who never leaves any opportunity to defend YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is now left without any defender. Everyone seems to have forsaken him and he appears thoroughly isolated within the party.

RGV sarcastic comments on Kodali Nani

0

Ram Gopal Varma, who supported YSRCP party before the elections, has been passing critical comments on the YSRCP government ever since the issue of film tickets surfaced. Today he passed sarcastic comments on Kodali Nani referring to casino episode. Details as follows.

RGV posted on his Twitter handle , “I completely support and appreciate @IamKodaliNani Garu for his initiative to modernise Gudivada ..People talking against the casino are regressive and should be ignored . My question to people looking down upon Kodali Nani initiated casino is “is anyone looking down upon Goa and Las Vegas ? Kodali Nani should be admired for placing GUDIVADA on the same level as PARIS, LONDON, LAS VEGAS etc . Those who are talking against Kodali Nani initiated casino are the people who will drag advancement into pre historic dark ages. The dumbos who are accusing Kodali Nani for bringing GOA culture to GUDIVADA should realise that GUDIVADA people will go to GOA but GOA people don’t come to GUDIVADA Nani Garu should be admired for trying to modernise GUDIVADA”.

Needless to say that these comments garnered enough attention from the people and most of them detest this kind of activities from ruling party leaders.

Ban of Eenadu, ABN, TV5: Nani’s overaction irks YSRCP!

1

Andhra Pradesh minister Kodali Nani announced a ban on Eenadu and Andhra Jyothy newspapers, besides, ETV, ABN and TV5 news channels. Kodali Nani announced the ban by conducting a press conference on Thursday (today).

Nani said that this ban is announced on behalf of YSRCP and no minister or MLA or any other leader of YSRCP or party workers will speak to these newspapers or TV channels. He also said that all YSRCP leaders from top level to bottom level should not read these newspapers or watch these TV channels.

Nani cited ‘false propaganda’ carried by these media groups against YSRCP government as the reason for banning them.

It is not clear whether this ban decision was taken by Nani himself or whether it was announced on the directions of YSRCP chief and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy.

But Nani nowhere claimed that it was announced on the directions of Jagan. This became evident that it’s the decision taken by Nani.

YSRCP leaders and cadre are reportely irked at Nani’s ‘overaction’ in announcing the ban. They question who gave powers to Nani to take decisions on behalf of YSRCP.

Is Nani YSRCP founder or YSRCP president to take decisions and announce them on his own without consulting anyone in the party? they ask.

In this era of digital and social media, is it possible to ban any newspaper or TV channel? they ask.

It remains to be seen how Jagan or Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy react to Nani’s ban on media organisations.

RGV’s tight slap for Kodali Nani

0

Veteran filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma has been taking a dig against the government of Andhra Pradesh after the government slashed down the ticket prices. RGV participated in live debates and questioned the government. He also took his twitter handle to question the AP government about the same. AP Cinematography Minister Perni Nani took his twitter to respond to some of the posts of RGV. In one of his recent posts, RGV posted saying that he doesn’t know Kodali Nani and the only Nani he knows is Natural Star Nani.

“I have raised several questions against the AP government and I heard that some Kodali Nani gave a counter for the same. Some of them wanted me to counter Nani and the only Nani I know is Natural Star Nani. I am not sure who Kodali Nani is” posted RGV. Earlier to this, AP leaders and ministers staged attacks on Natural Star Nani for raising his voice against AP government. Some of them told that they never knew Actor Nani. Fuel price cut by Centre eyewash, says Andhra minister

1

Andhra Pradesh’s Civil Supplies Minister Kodali Venkateswara Rao on Tuesday said that the slash of fuel prices by the Centre is only an eyewash, as the BJP was defeated in most of the by-elections across the country and lost their deposit in Andhra Pradesh.

The minister recalled that the Centre increased the prices of petrol and diesel despite the fall in the price of crude oil in the international market. Addressing a press conference, the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) leader said the BJP leaders were propagating as if they have achieved something big, while the common people were suffering with the abnormal fuel rates.

Nani, as the minister is popularly known, stated that the BJP had lost deposits in both Badvel and Tirupati bypolls, and became a “silly” party in the state, indulging in cheap politics by creating differences between castes and religions.
