After a dull weekend, all the new releases fell flat. Three films Krishna Vrinda Vihari, Alluri and Dongalunnaru Jagratha are hitting the screens this Friday. The makers of Krishna Vrinda Vihari and Alluri are promoting the film aggressively. The promotions are quite low for Dongalunnaru Jagratha. Krishna Vrinda Vihari has Naga Shaurya in the lead role and the film is a romantic entertainer. Alluri is an action-packed entertainer that has Sree Vishnu playing the role of a cop. Dongalunnaru Jagratha is a thriller and is a Korean remake that has Sri Simha in the lead role.
All these three films are carrying decent expectations and are of different genres. All these three films will have a decent release across the Telugu states. Naga Shaurya and Sree Vishnu are waiting for success and these films are crucial for the actors. Keeravani’s son too will have to make his impact with Dongalunnaru Jagratha.

Phalana Abbayi Phalana Ammayi’s shoot progresses across picturesque locations in London
There’s always curiosity among audiences, fraternity and trade circles when actors and directors with a successful track record reunite for a new film. Eminent production house People Media Factory is joining hands with another new banner, Dasari Productions, for an exciting project Phalana Abbayi Phalana Ammayi. The film brings back Naga Shaurya and Malavika Nair together after their hit-collaboration Kalyana Vaibhogame.
Actor, writer and director Srinivas Avasarala, who associated with Naga Shaurya for quality films like Oohalu Gusagusalade, and Jyo Achyutananda in the past, is wielding the megaphone for Phalana Abbayi Phana Ammayi. There’s immense buzz and excitement all around that names who enjoy such credibility like Naga Shaurya, Malavika Nair and Srinivas Avasarala are collaborating to tell another refreshing story.

Story :Parthu ( Naga Shaurya ) is a rookie Archery player who upsets a national champion in his debut year. Impressed by his skills, Indian Olympics association requests him to perform in qualifiers. Meanwhile, the disgruntled ex-national champion Rahul traps Parthu into sedative addiction. Rahul also attacks Parthu, permanently damages the archer’s right palm. Rest of the film is about how Parthu fight backs in his career and life.
Analysis:
To give a fresh backdrop to beaten to death sports subject, Lakshya picks up Archery game. The take off of the film is smooth and takes us straight into the action. Parthu’s rise as a national champion is done in initial act, the disgruntled rival sportsman’s revenge on Parthu is the conflict point. Grand father( Sachinkhedekar) – Parthu thread is a sentimental one, after the grandfather’s demise Parthu is sheltered by Jagapathi Babu. This particular artificial thread is the one takes down the movie graph. After JagapathiBabu’s motivational stint, Parthu comes back to archery arena and beats world champions. There is one duet ‘ Sayasayaa ‘ is good.
Naga Shaurya has put lot of effort to play a sportsman role. His six pack is impressive physical makeover. Heroine Ketika Sharma looks good, acted adequate to the role. Director Dheerendra appears to be done some research on the Sport. The casting of the film is good. Villain and artists are picked to suit sports theme. The production values are good

Naga Shaurya’s hard work for Lakshya shocks one and all
Young actor Naga Shaurya will be seen as an archer in his next film Lakshya which is releasing next Friday. The actor showcased his eight pack in the film and it took him six months for him to get the desired look. He developed a chiseled physique of an archer for the film. It is heard that Naga Shaurya had to stay away from water and food for three days before he shot for an important portion in Lakshya. His hard work and dedication came as a surprise for many.
The film’s director Santhossh himself revealed this during his media interaction. Naga Shaurya took up a special diet to maintain his eight pack and the needed physique for Lakshya. Gambling Case: Naga Shaurya’s Father Arrested
Ten days ago, a news broke out about a bunch of gamblers taken into custody from the farmhouse of Tollywood actor Naga Shaurya from Manchirevula near Hyderabad. More than 20 people are arrested in relation with the case and after the primary investigation, Naga Shaurya’s father Siva Linga Prasad is arrested. He was presented in Upparappali Court. The primary investigation revealed a relation between Siva Linga Prasad and the prime accused Gutta Suman. Naga Shaurya’s lawyer approached for bail and the hearing will take place soon. Naga Shaurya’s father leased out the farmhouse for 5 years and cash worth lakhs and play cards, poker coins were seized during the recent raids.
Naga Shaurya’s Farmhouse Raided
After getting some exclusive information, the Madhapur cops in association with a news channel conducted raids on the farmhouse of Tollywood actor Naga Shaurya in Manchirevula, near the outskirts of Hyderabad. More than 25 people are arrested after they are spotted gambling in the farmhouse. Cash worth Rs 25 lakhs along with mobile phones, swiping machines, playing cards and poker chips are seized.
The organizer Sumanth Chowdary is arrested and the investigation is on. Naga Shaurya has leased out the property for five years from an IAS officer six months ago. The cops are investigating the involvement of Naga Shaurya in the incident.

Story:
Akash, Bhoomi were college mates in Manipal Institute of Science and Technology. While in college days, Bhoomi couldn’t express her love with Akash and they part ways after the education is complete. Bhoomi, who transforms into an authoritarian lady, manages a startup company in Hyderabad. After few years of no communication, Akash and Bhoomi meet each other on an architectural project. This time Akash likes her but hesitates to propose. Rest of the story is how each of them deals with their past and present love life.
Analysis:
‘Varudu Kavalenu’ is a simple story to start with and goes on lighter mode. The corporate office setup for Bhoomi ( Ritu Varma) as owner, Vennela Kishore and others as employees it is familiar recipe for some entertainment. As Akash (Naga Shaurya) comes to Hyderabad and take up a project with Bhoomi’s company, the flirting starts. Within 30 minutes into the film, audience do take note of the impressive dialogues written by debutante writer Ganesh Ravuri. Debutante director Lakshmi Sowjanya scores well in making women audience feel connect to the scenes. First half passes with no big plot twists as such, its all keep it simple approach.
Second half starts with college flashback story which is unimpressive but ends in a quick 20 minutes session. Murali Sharma Nadiya conversation scene about how parents should think about their daughter’s life stands out and best scene of the film. Story picks up momentum when Akash, Bhoomi and others go to a village for their colleague’s marriage. Saptagiri’s Lag comedy is hilarious for 15 minutes. Comedy scenes on Tiktok fanatic girls worked out a bit. Climax takes predictable path and ends on happy note.
Performances:
Naga Shaurya’s best film in terms of his looks, dress sense. He is naturally classy as an architect, performed with ease. Ritu Varma who picks her characters best suit to her body language, yet again got impressive role as Bhoomi. Nadiya, Murali Sharma as parents of Bhoomi played their standard roles. Vennela Kishore, Praveen, Saptagiri handled comedy department.
Production values are of good standards, Sithara entertainments must be commended for the lavish spend. Music by Vishal C is impressive and on screen picturization is good for three songs. Cinematography by Vamsi captures frames elegantly, natural locations’ aerial shots are cool. Overall good work by him

‘Varudu Kaavalenu’ is a good watch for family audience, average film for youngsters. There is adequate entertainment in both halves, packed with fresh dialogues. However, slow paced treatment, no high moments, and main plot lacks strong conflict point are flipside. Regardless of drawbacks, this is a class film aimed at urban sections.
