Ram’s RED to clash with Ravi Teja’s Krack

Sankranthi happens to be the best season for films and Tollywood is gearing up for the release of a bunch of films for January 2021. Ravi Teja’s upcoming action-drama Krack was the first to be announced for Sankranthi and the film will release on January 14th next year. Ram’s upcoming movie RED is aimed for Sankranthi release and it completed all the censor formalities. The film too is hitting the screens on January 14th on Sankranthi.

Vijay’s Master and Rana Daggubati’s Aranya are the other films to hit the screens during the season. RED’s trailer clocked decent response and is directed by Kishore Tirumala. Sri Sravanthi Movies produced the film and Ram will be seen in a dual role in this action entertainer. Ram is pretty confident about the film and is waiting for the film to release in theatres.

Though the makers received interesting digital deals, Ram and the team of RED wanted a theatrical release for the film. RED is directed by Kishore Tirumala and is the remake of Tamil film Thadam. Nivetha Pethuraj and Malavika Sharma are the leading ladies in RED and the film is produced by Sri Sravanthi Movies. Manisharma composed the music and background score for this action thriller which is carrying decent expectations. In this meanwhile, Ram kept the bars high for his next film. Ram rejected more than a dozen scripts that reached him. Before that, his uncle Sravanthi Ravikishore gave a strong no for several Tollywood directors after meeting them. Several young directors are keen to lock Ram so that the project materializes soon but the actor seems to be a tough option for them as he set his standards high for his next. Ram is in the hunt for an out and out commercial film that can take him to the next level.

Among the young bunch of Tollywood actors, Ram is leading the race and the theatrical and non-theatrical rights are fetching close to Rs 50 crores. Ram wants to go ahead with his next only after he is completely convinced with the script. Else, he wants to spend some quality time in his newly shifted lavish Jubilee Hills bungalow enjoying his bachelorhood.

The coronavirus pandemic brought enough time for the Telugu actors to relax and spend ample time with their families. They are on a break from the past six months and most of them are in plans to return back to work soon. Utilizing the break, most of the Tollywood actors right from the veterans to the youngsters, everyone lined up 2-3 films. They are in plans to work without breaks and complete the commitments at the earliest.

But things are completely different for Ram Charan and Ram. Ram Charan needs to complete the shoot of RRR and he needs to spend six months more to complete the shoot. He has a crucial role in Acharya and the actor will shoot for the film as per the schedules. Ram Charan’s dairy for 2021 is packed with these two big-budget projects. Hence he is not ready to give his nod for any film now. He has been holding talks with Vamshi Paidipally, Gowtam Tinnanuri and others but he did not sign any project. All the ongoing speculations are just untrue.

Charan will continue listening to scripts in the coming months and he will pick up the best film from the approached projects. Charan is quite relaxed and he will take the call on his next only next year. Energetic Star Ram too scored a huge hit with Ismart Shankar and his next film RED will release next year. He rejected over a dozen projects in the recent months. He is not in a hurry and will take up his next project after he is completely convinced with the script. The makers of Ram’s next film RED got an interesting digital deal by a digital giant but Ram was not ready for it though the producer Sravanthi Ravikishore was interested. Ram’s RED was made on a strict budget and is an action thriller.

The film’s entire budget was recovered with the Hindi dubbing rights and Telugu satellite rights. The makers already pocketed the amounts and there is no financial stress on them. Ram who scored a massive hit with Ismart Shankar feels that RED can do well in theatres and decided to wait for a theatrical release as they have recovered their amounts. As RED is made on his home banner Sri Sravanthi Movies, he can pocket decent profits if the film performs well at the Telugu box-office. The other rights will anyways fetch decent numbers for Ram. Hence, Ram is hesitant on a digital release for RED.

Within a few hours, cine hero Ram changed his stand and made a reverse attack but in a veiled way at the Jaganmohan Reddy Government. Ram’s latest Tweet is creating political ripples across the State. Already, Vijayawada South Zone ACP N. Suryachandra Rao has threatened to serve notices to Ram if he continues to obstruct investigation with his comments on Swarna Palace fire mishap. The hero has already clarified that he would not make any more comments on the fire tragedy.

But, Ram has chosen a different subject this time without touching upon the fire mishap incident. He simply said that a disease named Caste is spreading faster than even Coronavirus. This Caste virus is more contagious and dangerous. He appealed to all brothers and sisters to stay away from these silent spreaders.

The hero’s latest Tweet has undoubtedly embarrassed the Jaganmohan Reddy regime and the Vijayawada police. It is now a big question whether the ACP concerned will also interpret the latest Tweet of the hero as an interference with the ongoing investigation into the fire mishap. In a way, Ram has thrown up a challenge literally. The use of caste virus in his post is undoubtedly aimed at the manner in which Jagan regime is targetting and harassing a particular caste in the State right now.

A few hours ago, former CM Chandrababu Naidu has expressed his solidarity to Ram saying that by threatening to service notices, the ACP concerned has violated the hero’s fundamental right and also his freedom of expression.

Hero Ram tweeted yesterday in favor of Ramesh hospital. He tweeted, “Billing was done DIRECTLY by SWARNA PALACE HOTEL as they were RESPONSIBLE for the MANAGEMENT! DOCTORS are NOT RESPONSIBLE for the FIRE safety! I doubt there’s a HUGE CONSPIRACY to show the CM of AP in bad light.I request @ysjagan garu to look into it as a few people under him might be doing this without his knowledge.This is causing huge damage to his reputation & Honest approach,amongst all of us!”. However this tweet did damage to him as people started questioning Ram’s intentions. Many opined that Ram came forward just because doctor Ramesh happens to be his own uncle. Many also suggested the hero to talk on real issues and be on the side of needy people instead of always focusing only on his and his relatives well being.

However, Ram’s tweet got mixed response from netizens. Many see this tweet as an attempt to save Ramesh hospital and make Swarna palace alone the Scape goat. Some netizens also alleged that, Ram is speaking as the hospital belongs to one of his relatives. They also criticized him for speaking up on behalf of his relatives instead of speaking up for the needy people. Some people even went on to suggest him to learn from Sonu Sood who is spending millions of rupees and extending helping hand for the needy in this difficult times.

Ram was impressed with the script and Surendar Reddy is currently working on the final draft of the script. Surendar Reddy wanted to direct Allu Arjun in the sequel of Race Gurram after the film ended up as a stupendous hit.
