Allu Arjun’s ‘Pushpa: The Rise’ screened at Moscow Film Fest

0

Even after almost a year of its release the Allu Arjun-starrer ‘Pushpa: The Rise’ continues to make waves. This time the film has created noise on the international stage as it was recently screened at Moscow Film Festival.

The film has been screened under the category of ‘Block Busters’ around the world at the film festival. Taking to Instagram, the Embassy of India in Moscow shared Allu Arjun’s poster and wrote: “We gladly announce that the film ‘Pushpa – The Rise: Part 1’ has been selected by the Moscow International Film Festival under the category of ‘Block Buster hits around the world'”.

“The film ‘Pushpa – The Rise: Part 1’ starring Allu Arjun, Fahad Faasil, Rashmika Mandanna directed by Sukumar Bandreddi has created sensation all over the world and has stood as the highest grosser in India for the year 2021”, the embassy further mentioned in their Insta post.

From Allu Arjun’s popular dance number ‘Srivalli’ to his heroic screen presence in ‘Oo Antava Oo Oo Antava’ along with Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Pushpa has been a box-office phenomenon and can make well for a case study for a film that broke records at the box-office with practically no marketing and promotions before the theatrical release.

The film went to theatres with just a cold poster launch and limited digital engagement and gave stiff competition to ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’, and effectively decimated the multi-starrer sports drama ’83’. Pushpa’s digital premier further took the film’s popularity to places unheard of.

‘Choreographing for Allu Arjun is like a dream for me’, says Rajit Dev

0

Ace choreographer Rajit Dev is quite excited to work with pan-India star Allu Arjun for Armaan Malik’s new song titled ‘Memu Aagamu’.

Singer Armaan Malik has collaborated with K-pop band TRI. BE for a special song for Coke Studio India.

Speaking about his experience of working with Allu, Rajit says: “I’ve worked on a song with Allu sir earlier, but I was an assistant to Vaibhavi Merchant. This is the first time I choreographed him as an independent choreographer. Making Allu Arjun dance to my style is nothing less than a dream coming true.”

He has all the praises for ‘Pushpa’ star and shares that despite of being a superstar he is very down to earth.

“He is such a humble person. Despite the huge stardom, there’s a beautiful heart which is warm and amazing.”

Rajit is known for tracks such as ‘Coco’, ‘Bijlee Bijlee’ and ‘Baarish Ki Jaaye’, ‘Pachtaoge’, ‘Tera Saath Ho’. Another big achievement for Rajit is to work with a K-pop band for this song.

He adds: “I am very proud to say that I’m the first Indian to choreograph a K-pop band. It’s a huge thing. The group of girls (TRIB-E) were so sweet and super professional. They have so much energy, which I have experienced on the set and made my work look great.”

So what exactly was in your mind while designing the steps for Allu and the K-pop group?

“I was under a lot of pressure for coming up with a good hook step. As everyone knows Allu Sir is a fantastic dancer. His swag is simply magical. My thought was I’d make a few options which I feel are good and show it to sir to choose one. He liked everything but then we settled down with one particular style and everyone’s hooked to it.”

“I also wanted to incorporate Indian classical hands for the K-pop group. I knew this would be a great collaboration of Indian and Korean culture coming together.”

Rajit also shares his emotions while shooting for the song. “There’s always a nervousness when I’m shooting. But this time it was more because you are shooting with a big superstar. At the same time I feel blessed that I get to be with them in the same room and teach them my steps and share my knowledge through dance. When you actually see the final result you know the hard-work of the team got its due. The song is released now and I have received some great feedback from it.”

The music video is directed by Collin D’Cunha and it was shot in mid of July in Bangkok.

Ugly Fan wars worrying Stars

There has been a great unity among the stars of Tollywood. Young actors are promoting the films of their co-stars and they are appreciating the super hit films through their social media platforms. But things are completely different with fans. Twitter turned out to be the best platform for fan wars and these wars reached new heights in the recent times. During the release of RRR, the fans of NTR and Ram Charan had heated arguments about the performances and the screentime of Charan and Tarak. It took months for the heat to calm down.

A negative wave of tweets started between the fans of Ram Charan and Allu Arjun couple of days ago. Twitter alone knows where it started and there are several hashtags trending. The fans of Bunny and Charan crossed several barriers and headed to abuse each other. The hashtags are trending from the past couple of days and the actors are tight-lipped. The actors are competing with their films and they share a great bonding in their personal lives. But unfortunately, the fans have been indulging in cheap wars on Twitter which is a disrespect for the stars. Our star actors are also worried about these unwanted trends and they are helpless.

Actors like Pawan Kalyan and NTR urged their fans not to participate in any fan wars and abuse other actors. Our happy stars should now step out with a strict stand and inform their disturbed fans not to involve in any ugly fan wars.
