Superstar Mahesh Babu’s next outing ‘Sarkaru Vaari Paata’ is all set for a grand theatrical release Today May 11th. The trailer wasa feast for the fans and audience. ‘You can steal my love, you can steal my friendship but you cannot steal my money’ defines the characterization of Mahesh Babu in ‘Sarkaru Vaari Paata’ movie. The entire film bets big on the characterization of Mahesh Babu. Sarkaru Vaari Paata also promises sensible entertainment. Here is the Telugu360 Review :

Story :

Mahesh runs a private lending company in USA. Keerthy Suresh, a casino addict, lies about her background and takes a cash loan from Mahesh. Realizing he has been duped, Mahesh Babu rushes to India to collect the debt from her father Rajendranath (Samudrakhani). In India, Mahesh takes up an even bigger cause and fights for the middle-class people. What can fictionally happen when people are made aware of the backstage politics involved in financial scandals – the rest of the story tries to showcase this.

Analysis:

Movie opens with the backstory of Mahesh Babu’s character. We see him orphaned at a young age when his middle-class parents commit suicide, unable to repay the bank loans. Fast forward 15 years, Mahesh is now the head of a financial company specializing in hand loans. Keerthy Suresh’s character is that of a spoiled brat, addicted to gambling. She approaches Mahesh for a loan, posing as an overtly studious student in need of money. Very quickly her con game is revealed, and even though the idea of spending thousands on travel just to collect some money is unconvincing, that’s exactly what Mahesh does when he travels all the way to India, to collect his money from her father.

The first half of the movie is entertaining enough with Mahesh Babu’s trademark comical timing. The second half has a very flat narration and is so very preachy. In his inability to come up with a proper story or exciting scenes, the director depends very heavily on Mahesh Babu’s strength to keep the movie rolling.

The two songs ‘Penny penny ‘and ‘ Kalavathy ‘ in the first half, and the last song ‘Ma Ma Mahesha ‘ in the second half could have been shot well. All the songs work out well with the fans of Mahesh. This is his best to date with styling in the songs.

Thaman’s background score is surprisingly not to his usual standards. The cinematography by R.Madhie is very good. The fights are not up to the mark. The first half beach fight VFX work is sub-standard. With Mythri Movie makers, 14 Reels Plus, and GMB coming together to make this film, the production values could have been better.

Positives:

• MaheshBabu’s One man show with good comedy timing
• Entertaining first half
• Three good songs


Negatives :

• Poor story and flat key narration in 2nd half
• Redundant preachy scenes about the Indian banking system

Verdict:

SVP is a commercial movie that has good first half, and a very flat narration in the second half. Mahesh babu’s One-man show in comedy, Good songs rescue this film.  Story and direction wise this film could’ve been way better. Overall,  A typical telugu film watchable for MaheshBabu !

Actress Keerthy Suresh, who will be seen playing the lead in the upcoming revenge drama, ‘Saani Kaayidham’, says she never imagined herself in such an intense film.

In ‘Saani Kaayidham’, Keerthy Suresh will be seen portraying a character that the audience has never seen her do before.

Sharing the screen space with Selvaraghavan, Keerthy will be seen playing a character called Pooni, who is trapped in a generational curse that comes true when injustice is imposed upon her.

Talking about the preparation that went into the role, Keerthy said, “My previous characters were sweet, charming and bubbly, but Ponni is fresh, raw and rugged.”

This role demanded that she be lean and mean. “In terms of preparation, I didn’t do anything really,” Keerthy said. “I think the minute I got into those clothes, put that makeup on, and went on the set, stood by the Matador van and watched Arun and Selva sir, I was ready.”

“I had never imagined myself in such an intense film, and thus initially the task seemed daunting. But as the story progressed, it became easy for me to play the character of Ponni, also owing to the easy atmosphere on sets and the freedom to improvise and experiment.”

Produced under the banner of Screen Scene Media Entertainment, ‘Saani Kaayidham’ will premiere exclusively on Prime Video on May 6. The film will also be available as ‘Chinni’ in Telugu and ‘Saani Kaayidham’ in Malayalam.

Actress Keerthy Suresh has begun promoting her next big Telugu release ‘Sarkaru Vaari Paata’.

As this is her first collaboration with superstar Mahesh Babu, the excited actress has joined the team in their promotional phase.

‘Sarkaru Vaari Paata’ billed as a commercial action drama, stars Mahesh Babu in a role unlike any other. Keerthy Suresh, who plays his love interest in the film, joined the team to promote the film on Thursday by participating in a video interview.

The makers have enlisted Keerthy Suresh to handle the first round of promotions while Mahesh Babu is on vacation and will return in the first week of May.

The video interview featuring Keerthy Suresh will be released soon in order to increase the buzz surrounding the film’s release.

Mahesh Babu is reportedly having a story session with ‘RRR’ director S.S. Rajamouli about their next project while on a short trip to Dubai.

Keerthy Suresh, Selvaraghavan-starrer ‘Saani Kaayidham’ set for OTT release

Filmmaker Arun Matheswaran’s revenge action-drama ‘Saani Kaayidham’, which features Keerthy Suresh and Selvaraghavan in lead roles, is heading to OTT for its release with its teaser dropping online on Friday.

The film will be released in Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam on May 6.

The film tells the story of a generational curse coming true when injustice is inflicted upon Keerthy Suresh’s character of Ponni and her family. As seen in the teaser promo, she seeks vengeance along with Sangaiah (played by Selvaraghavan), with whom she shares a bitter past.

Sharing his excitement on release date announcement, director Arun Matheswaran said in a statement, “I enjoy telling conventional stories in unconventional formats, bringing raw and edgy elements. Here’s a gritty action drama woven around the theme of revenge; a story about a woman who is on a mission to seek vengeance.”

The Tamil film will be released on Prime Video on May 6, it will also be available as ‘Chinni’ in Telugu and as ‘Saani Kaayidham’ in Malayalam.

“Every story has an audience and I am thrilled that through the reach of Amazon Prime Video I can take ‘Saani Kaayidham’ to a global audience”, he added.

Siddharth Ravipati, who serves as the creative producer of the film, shared, “‘Saani Kaayidham’ is gripping and heart-wrenching in equal measure, and Arun Matheswaran has done a fantastic job in capturing the essence of the strength of a woman who is seeking justice.”

He further mentioned, “Both Keerthy Suresh and Selvaraghavan have given exceedingly brilliant and power-packed performances that will enhance the story’s appeal. I am eagerly looking forward to the film premiering on Prime Video on 6 May across languages.”

‘Saani Kaayidham’ has been produced under the banner of Screen Scene Media Entertainment.

In the video, Keerthy effortlessly dances like a pro to the energetic number composed by Pawan CH. Ananya Bhat has added life to the Pawan’s tune and Suddala Ashok Teja’s lyrics with her effervescent voice.

Produced by The Route, Gandhari is choreographed and directed by veteran dance master Brinda. In the company of a group of dancers, Keerthy has done complete justice to the song with her steps.

The Telugu comedy-drama movie starring Keerthy Suresh, also has Aadhi and Jagapathi Babu in pivotal roles. The movie which had a theatrical release recently will stream exclusively on Prime Video for viewers in more than 240 countries and territories, in Telugu, Malayalam and Tamil.

‘Good Luck Sakhi’ is the story of a happy-go-lucky girl Sakhi Pamar, portrayed by Keerthy Suresh, who hails from the Banjara tribe in the Rayalaseema region.

She goes by the nickname ‘Bad Luck Sakhi’ as the villagers consider Sakhi’s presence a bad omen and harbinger of tough times. A colonel, portrayed by Jagapathi Babu, arrives in the village, hunting for a promising shooter whom he wishes to prep for the bigger stage. Sakhi has a gift for aiming targets that makes her a natural in shooting. How far will Sakhi fly under the guidance of the Colonel, forms the crux of ‘Good Luck Sakhi’.

Director Nagesh Kukunoor’s much-awaited Telugu film ‘Good Luck Sakhi’, featuring Keerthy Suresh and Aadhi in the lead roles, will finally hit screens on January 28 this year.

Keerthy Suresh confirmed the release of her film on Twitter. She tweeted: “We are so excited for you guys to see ‘Good Luck Sakhi’ in theatres near you from January 28.”

The film’s release has been postponed twice. It was originally supposed to hit screens on November 26. The release however got postponed to December 10.

Worth a Shot, the production house behind the film, then said that “due to unforeseen issues” the film would be “arriving on New Year’s Eve (December 31, 2021)”. The film did not hit screens on December 31 as well.

Finally, it is now all set to be released on January 28.

The film, billed as a romantic sports comedy with music by Devi Sri Prasad, is about how a girl, believed to bring bad luck to everyone, including her fiance who meets with a premature death, emerges as a champion sharpshooter.

Actress Keerthy Suresh, one of the top actresses in the Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam film industries, on Tuesday announced that she had tested positive for Covid-19.

Taking to social media, Keerthy said, “Hi everyone, I have tested positive for Covid 19, experiencing mild symptoms, despite taking all necessary precautions and safety measures, which is a scary reminder of the rate at which the virus is spreading.

“Please follow all the Covid safety norms and stay safe. I am currently in isolation and under safe care. Those who came in close contact with me, kindly do get tested.

“If you haven’t been vaccinated yet, please take your vaccines at the earliest to avoid severe symptoms and for the better health of you and your loved ones.

“Hoping for a speedy recovery and will be back in action soon.”

Nagesh Kukunoor’s ‘Good Luck Sakhi’ to now release on Dec 31

The release of director Nagesh Kukunoor’s much-awaited Telugu film ‘Good Luck Sakhi’, featuring Keerthy Suresh and actor Aadhi in the lead, has now been pushed to December 31, the team announced on Sunday.

The film, which was supposed to be released on November 26, got postponed and it was announced that the film would instead release on December 10. However, Worth a Shot, the production house producing the film, announced on Sunday evening that the film, “due to unforeseen issues” would be “arriving on New Year’s Eve (December 31, 2021)”.

The production house also said that it was “working hard to bring this with lots of love” and asked fans to stay with it.

The film, which has music by Devi Sri Prasad, has cinematography by Chiranthan Das.

Sources say that the film is about how a girl, believed to bring bad luck to everyone, emerges as a champion sharp shooter.

National Award-winning actress Keerthy Suresh, who had given her career-best performance in late actress Savitri’s biopic – ‘Mahanati’ – is set to woo the audience again with her upcoming movie titled ‘Good Luck Sakhi’.

The makers of the movie have come up with an interesting update regarding the release date. ‘Good Luck Sakhi’ will be released on November 26 across the southern states of India. The makers also released a poster featuring the lead actors. Keerthy Suresh appears as a village belle, trying to aim with a gun, while Aadi Pinisetty and Jagapathi Babu are also in the poster released Monday.

Touted as an emotional, woman-centric sports drama, Keerthy Suresh is to be seen as a shooter in the film. Actor Aadhi Pinisetty, who made his mark as an actor in movies like ‘Sarrainodu’, and ‘Rangasthalam’ is to be seen as the male lead in the movie. Senior actor Jagapathi Babu will be seen in a crucial role as Keerthy Suresh’s coach.

Keerthy Suresh hints at her mother being a part of ‘Bhramam’

Actress Keerthy Suresh piqued the interest of her fans for the upcoming Malayalam film ‘Bhramam’ with her Instagram post on Saturday.

The actress uploaded a picture where she is seen looking at a television screen with her mother Menaka Suresh in the teaser of the Prithviraj Sukumaran-starrer.

She captioned the picture as: “Maa! how did you end up in the world of Bhramam? @therealprithvi am I seeing this right?”

Soon, the speculation started of Keerthy’s mother being part of the Malayalam remake of ‘Andhadhun’.

Directed by Ravi K. Chandra, ‘Bhramam’ also stars Raashii Khanna in the lead role. The film will release on Amazon Prime Video on October 7.
