Kamal Haasan is riding high with the super success of Vikram. His long-delayed project Indian 2 is back on the track. Shankar is busy planning the schedules of the film and the shoot resumes in the first week of September. Shankar allocated ten days per month for the film’s shoot as he is also busy with the shoot of Ram Charan’s project. Kajal Aggarwal who gave birth to a baby boy recently has walked out of all the projects. But the actress revealed that she will join the sets of Indian 2 in September. All the other actors are informed and the schedules are planned accordingly.

Close to 100 days of shoot is pending for Indian 2. Shankar and his team is keen to release the film in summer next year. Siddharth, Rakul Preet Singh will be seen in other important roles in Indian 2 and Lyca Productions are the producers. Top director Shankar is facing a tough time for the first time in his career. The shoot of his upcoming movie Indian 2 got stalled for a year and a half. Shankar announced that he would work with Ram Charan in his next film and the makers of Indian 2 approached Madras High Court to stall his plans. At the same time, Tamil producer Aascar Ravichandran threatened Shankar of initiating legal proceedings if he commences the shoot of Anniyan remake in Hindi. Shankar is waiting for the arrival of foreign technicians to resume the shoot of the film. With the situation of coronavirus alarming in the country, the technicians are not ready to fly to India. Shankar’s advocate informed the same in the Madras High Court informing that Shankar will resume the shoot at the earliest. Kamal Haasan is expected to allocate the dates for Indian 2 from June. Around 50 days of shoot for Indian 2 is left pending for now. Shankar is in touch with the foreign technicians and is planning the schedules of Indian 2. Lyca Productions are the producers and Kamal Haasan, Kajal Aggarwal, Siddharth and Rakul Preet Singh will be playing the lead roles in this action thriller.

Kamal Haasan all set to return back to the sets of Indian 2

Padmashri Kamal Haasan signed a sequel for Indian and is titled Indian 2. Shankar is directing this big-budget project which faced several hurdles. There are speculations that all is not well between Shankar and Lyca Productions as the director did not quote the final budget for the film. A tragic accident took place on the sets and three crew members got killed. The shoot of the film was put on hold after the incident and then came the coronavirus pandemic. With the huge delay in the project, Kamal announced his next film Vikram in the direction of Lokesh Kanagaraj.

As per the update coming, all the issues of Indian 2 are resolved recently and the shoot resumes from January 2021. Kamal will have to focus on politics as the Assembly elections are heading in summer in Tamil Nadu. He is in plans to complete the shoot of Vikram by January and he will join the sets of Indian 2. Shankar and Lyca Productions came on to a common stand about the film’s budget and all the hurdles are cleared. Kamal is said to have supported Shankar in the issue after which Lyca Productions came to a compromise. The film will hit the screens in all the Indian languages next year.

South Indian Superstar Kamal Haasan was busy shooting for Indian 2 during which tragedy struck and three crew members lost their lives in a tragic accident. Kamal Haasan and Shankar who were on the spot have been asked to appear before the Central Crime Branch team in Chennai for questioning. Kamal Haasan today approached the Madras High Court and he alleged that cops harassed him during questioning.

Kamal said that the cops harassed him during the scene enactment. The Madras High Court will hear the petition soon. Kamal claims that none of the actors are harassed in such situations. The shoot of Indian 2 is kept on hold and it is expected to restart once the scare of coronavirus comes to an end in the country. Made on a massive budget, Indian 2 is slated for release next year. The horrifying accident on the sets of Indian 2 killed three crew members and the shoot of the film got halted as of now. The Chennai Central Crime Branch (CCB) cops registered an FIR and the film’s director Shankar was questioned recently. Now the film’s lead actor Kamal Haasan appeared before CCB in Chennai today. The CCB registered Kamal Haasan’s statement as a part of the investigation.

Kamal Haasan already donated Rs 1 crore per family for the deceased. Kamal and Shankar had a narrow escape from the accident. Kamal asked the makers to make sure that such incidents never repeat in the future. The shoot of Indian 2 was taking place in and around Chennai before the incident. Siddarth, Kajal Aggarwal and Rakul Preet Singh will be playing other lead roles in Indian 2 which is produced by Lyca Productions.

Tragedy struck hard on the sets of Kamal Haasan’s Indian 2 after an accident took place that killed three people. More than ten people are badly injured in this accident that took place last night. A set is being constructed currently and a light setup from the crane fell on the crew after which the incident took place. The film’s director Shankar escaped closely from the accident. His personal assistant Madhu and Krishna, an assistant director died on the spot.

The other deceased was Chandran, a catering team member. The shoot of the film is happening in EVP Studios, Chennai. After coming to know about the mishap, Kamal Haasan rushed to the spot. The injured are taken to a private hospital in the city and are recovering well. Kamal Haasan and Shankar expressed their grief for the families of the deceased. Ever since the release date of RRR is announced for January 8th 2021 release, Tamil media circles started speculating that Kamal Haasan starrer Indian 2 will be in Sankranthi race. As per the reports, Indian 2 that is directed by Shankar will hit the screens on January 14th in all the Indian languages.
