Karthikeya 2 Movie Review

The unit of Telugu film ‘Karthikeya 2’, featuring actor Nikhil Siddhartha in the lead, on Sunday released the first clue to its treasure hunt contest — ‘Karthikeya 2 Mystical Quest’– it had announced to promote its film.

Taking to Instagram, Actor Nikhil Siddhartha posted a video clip in which he gave out the first clue for those in Hyderabad.

The actor said: “As you all know, our film ‘Karthikeya 2’ releases on August 12. As in the first part, we go searching for answers to big mysteries and queries using clues in this part too. We thought we’d give you a taste of that.”

“We have come up with a treasure hunt contest called ‘Karthikeya 2 Quest’. For this contest, we have got four beautiful Sri Krishna idols made of pure gold, and kept them in four different cities — Vijayawada, Vizag, Tirupati and Hyderabad. We will test your intelligence. If you are able to solve this test and manage to crack the clues, the gold, worth lakhs, is yours.”

Asking participants to tag him and the production house among others, he said, “Hyderabad! Here’s the first clue to win Sri Krishna Gold Idol in the ‘Karthikeya Quest’: Vishwam Oka Poosala Dandaa Nidhi nee Bhagyam lo undi ante Bhagyanagarapu Nadiboddu lo unna Janala Poosala Dandani cheruko. Get searching,” he said and added, “You will find the second clue there which will lead to the gold.”

The film, which has been directed by Chandoo Mondeti, features Anupama Parameswaran as the female lead and was originally scheduled to be released on July 22. However, the release of the film was postponed and the crew has said that it will now release on August 12.

Even though a poster or teaser of Karthikeya 2 is yet to be released, its rights are being sold like hot cake.

It is learnt that all language satellite rights and other language dubbing rights of Karthikeya 2 have been sold out for Rs 20 crore. The makers are planning to release the movie on their own.

Starring Nikhil in the lead, Karthikeya 2, a sequel to Karthikeya, is directed by Chandoo Mondeti and produced by People Media Factory and Abhishek Aggarwal banners.

Music for this suspense thriller is being composed by Kala Bhairava. The film has Anupama Parameswaran as lead actress.

Young actor Nikhil is done with the shoot of 18 Pages and this romantic entertainer will hit the screens soon. The youngster signed the sequel for Karthikeya and the film is the costliest one in his career. Chandoo Mondeti is the director and the shoot resumed recently. The working title of the film is said to be Karthikeya 2. The makers locked Daivam Manushya Rupena as the title of the film. Nikhil said that the pandemic gave him enough time to work on his looks for the role in the movie.

Daivam Manushya Rupena was shot in Punjab, Rajasthan, Gujarat and Uttarakhand. The upcoming schedules of Daivam Manushya Rupena are planned to take place in Europe and Vietnam from August. The entire cast, crew members of Daivam Manushya Rupena got vaccinated recently. The film will have to be shot in multiple locations in various countries. People Media Factory are on board as the producers and Daivam Manushya Rupena will release next year.

Karthikeya will stand as a memorable film in the career of Nikhil. The actor recently announced Karthikeya 2 which also got its official launch. After several producers backed out of the project, People Media Factory is on board to produce the film. The latest news we hear is that Karthikeya 2 is not a sequel for Karthikeya.

It is heard that the film is the second installment of the franchise and will deal with a story that revolved around the temple of Dwaraka. Karthikeya 2 will be more gripping and intense without missing the needed thrilling elements. Except revolving around the temple, Karthikeya and Karthikeya 2 will have nothing in common. The pre-production work of the film reached final stages and the regular shoot will commence very soon.

YSRCP leader B Karunakar Reddy switched on the camera and the major crew was present for the launch. The concept video that is out yesterday looked unique and it received decent response. Karthikeya 2 will be made on lavish standards and will be shot across temples all over India.
