NTR wraps up a major schedule of Devara

NTR’s Devara team has successfully wrapped another schedule of the film in Hyderabad. Devara is one of the most anticipated films of Jr NTR in Koratala Siva’s direction. The film is said to be an action drama with jaw-dropping action sequences designed by Kenny Bates and Brad Minnich is looking after the VFX work.

The lead actors of the film were involved in this schedule, which went on for two weeks. A key water sequence has been wrapped up in a special set constructed in Shamshabad. With this, the film has wrapped up four key schedules and the next schedule is expected to start by next month. NTR flew to Dubai today after he completed the current schedule of Devara.

Jahvi Kapoor is the leading lady and Saif Ali Khan is the villain in this actioner. Devara is being bankrolled by the Yuvasudha Arts banner in association with NTR Arts banner. The film is aimed for summer 2024 release.

Jr NTR off to vacation with family, but no break for ‘Devara’ workout

Leading Tollywood star Jr NTR left for a vacation with his family to an undisclosed location.

He, along with his wife Lakshmi Pranathi and two sons, Abhay and Bhargav, were spotted at the Hyderabad Airport on Monday.

The pictures of Jr NTR and his family alighting from a car and entering the passenger terminal building went viral on social media. The actor can be seen holding little Bhargav’s hands while Abhay was walking next to him.

Jr NTR, who turned 40 on May 20, is known in film circles as a family man and he spends quality time with loved ones. This time he has left for vacation amidst production of the upcoming movie ‘Devara’, directed by Koratala Siva.

On Sunday (May 28), Jr NTR was seen paying tributes to his grandfather, legendary actor and former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N.T. Rama Rao (NTR) at his Samadhi in Hyderabad on the occasion of his birth centenary.

The first look poster of ‘Devara’, released on Jr NTR’s birthday, has created excitement among his fans as this will be his first movie after the blockbuster ‘RRR’, in which he shared the screen with Ram Charan.

The actor is basking in the glory of ‘RRR’, which bagged Oscar and Golden Globe awards this year for song ‘Naatu Naatu’ and also won many global accolades.

In ‘Devara’, late Sridevi’s daughter Janhvi Kapoor will play the film lead. She will be making her Tollywood debut with this. Saif Ali Khan is said to be playing the villain. The film unit has reportedly completed the first schedule of the shooting.

Meanwhile, another visual of Jr NTR is going viral on social media. He is seen with his physical trainer Kumar Mannava during a session.

Young Tiger, as Jr NTR’s fans call him, is working hard to get some mass for his role in ‘Devara’. Kumar Mannava posted the picture with the actor on Instagram.

“DEVARA at work. Home or away, once the prep starts nothing can come in the way. Away on a holiday but DEDICATION is on point,” wrote the coach.

Whether shooting or not, NTR keeps himself in the shape. Even when he is on vacation, he is seen exercising without fail.

Jr NTR is likely to return early and resume shooting. The buzz in film circles is that he will be seen in two different roles in the film.

‘Very cool role’: Saif says he has worked hard to deliver his best for ‘NTR 30’

Bollywood star Saif Ali Khan, who has started working on the pan-India film tentatively titled ‘NTR 30’, has shared that the director of the film, Koratala Siva gave a three-hour narration to him for the film.

Saif, who is known for blending into his characters, be it ‘Langda’ Tyagi from ‘Omkara’, Daniyal Khan from ‘Phantom’ or Sartaj Singh from ‘Sacred Games’, recollected the time when Koratala Siva narrated him the story which sees him serving as the antagonistic force.

Saif Ali Khan told IANS: “It’s a very cool role and I’m working hard to make sure I deliver more than what is expected of me. My director Koratala Siva is a passionate artist with infectious energy and a great vision. He narrated to me for three hours and I was spellbound, emotionally involved all the way.”

The Bollywood star also mentioned that NTR Jr “is very friendly and charming and super-passionate.” Saif admires the ambition of making a pan-India film and is hyped to start working on the “exciting plan” of NTR Jr. He said: “We are too used to thinking and working in terms of region and language.”

On the technicians of the film, Saif said: “The DOP is Rathnavelu who has shot amazing movies like Robot and it’s great to be lit and shot like this. It’s a fantastic vision and the movie’s scale is very big. I take it as a great compliment that they are interested in my services. My pleasure entirely to be here. Fingers crossed this will be rocking!!”

Koratala Siva’s gutsy statement about NTR30

It is a star-studded launch for NTR30. Two top directors SS Rajamouli and Prasanth Neel are the guests of the day.
