Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja attempted a crime thriller for the first time with Ravanasura which was directed by Sudheer Varma. Abhishek Nama and Ravi Teja together produced the movie that features five heroines, while Sushanth will be seen in a very vital role.

Abhishek Nama who did fine arts suggested the title Ravanasura and also designed the title logo. “I’m more interested in making good movies with unique concepts. Ravi Teja called me to make the movie, after finalizing the story. He is also a producer.”

The producer avows Ravi Teja hasn’t done this kind of movie earlier. “The audience will be shocked to see Ravi Teja’s character in the movie. It’s a new concept and other heroes too will come forward to do such movies, if Ravanasura works out.”

Abhishek says they aren’t revealing the suspense elements, since it will not give the wow and shocking moments to the audience in the theatres. “We get surprised when we watch films like Kantara. However, we have our own doubts about whether these kinds of movies work here. However, Ravi Teja will break the jinx with Ravanasura.”

The producer also says there is a scope to make sequel to Ravanasura.

Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja who is basking under the glory of Dhamaka and Waltair Veerayya’s blockbuster success is presently starring in Ravanasura under the direction of Sudheer Varma.

The film’s theme song- a hypnotic mantra was unveiled recently and the response for the same was amazing. The film has music by Harshavardhan Rameswar and Bheems Ceciroleo. A day prior to Valentine’s Day, the makers proclaimed to release the second song Pyaar Lona Paagal on the 18th of this month. Seems like, the second song will be a dance number. The poster presents Ravi Teja in a class and modish avatar.

The movie is produced jointly by Abhishek Nama and Ravi Teja. The film’s glimpse received a tremendous response and it showed Ravi Teja in an intense character as a lawyer.

Ravanasura will grace the cinemas on April 7th.

Being mounted on a massive scale, ‘Ravanasura’ is produced by Abhishek Nama under Abhishek Pictures and RT Teamworks. Ravi Teja plays a lawyer in the film, while Sushanth will be seen in a crucial role as Ram.

Tollywood actor Ravi Teja’s fans had one more reason to celebrate Sankranti with greater fervour, with the ‘Mass Maharaja’ of the Telugu film industry announcing the launch of ‘Narakasura’, his 70th movie, on Friday.

The Sudheer Varma directorial was launched in the presence of Mega Star Chiranjeevi, who did the honours by clapping for the inaugural shot. The film is slated to hit the screens on September 30 this year.

The first look of the movie, showing Ravi Teja in a smouldering avatar, is already sending netizens into a tizzy.

Work on the film began with a pooja on the auspicious occasion of Makara Sankranti. Sources close to the unit say that full- fledged shooting will begin later this month.

Actress Anu Emmanuel, who is a part of the film, attended the pooja. Sharing pictures of herself at the pooja, Emmanuel simply said, “My next in Telugu, ‘Ravanasura’.”

Ravi Teja also shared his excitement on social media. Others on the star cast include Faria Abdullah, Daksha Nagarkar and Megha Akash.
