The actress is tested positive for coronavirus today and is admitted to a private hospital in the city. The actress is preparing for the shoot of a talk show for Aha and is set to join the sets of Gurtunda Seethakalam soon. Tamannaah’s parents are tested positive for coronavirus two months ago and they recovered completely. Tamannaah stayed with her parents for the past six months and returned to Hyderabad recently. With the arrival of the coronavirus pandemic, it is clear that the directors and actresses will face the heat though the filmmakers of Tollywood will not dare to ask the lead actors to have a pay cut. Several actresses are well prepared to cut their pay and work for as many projects as they had enough rest from the past few months. Tamannaah is holding talks for F3 and the makers are negotiating to pay her Rs 1 crore. The actress too is ready for the paycheque and gave her nod.
Then came a surprising announcement that Tamannaah will reprise the role of Tabu in the remake of Andhadhun. When the actress was ready for the role, the makers offered a paycheque of Rs 1.5 crores and the actress had no second thought. The actress even will be seen in a glamorous avatar which would be a challenging one when compared to her recent films Tamannaah signed. The shoot of Andhadhun remake starts in November and will feature Nithiin, Nabha Natesh in the lead roles. The film which is yet to be titled will release in summer 2021.

Tamannaah also took coronavirus test and the result is negative. The actress said that her parents showed mild symptoms over the weekend after which everyone at their home underwent coronavirus tests immediately.
“We are complying with the precautionary guidelines. The rest of the family members including myself and the staff are tested negative. By the grace of God, they are coping well and all your prayers and blessings will put them on the road to recovery” said Tamannaah. The actress is in plans to return back to work from September. She will be shooting for a show for Aha. Tamannaah also has to complete her portions for Gopichand’s Seetimaar soon.
Tamannaah is eagerly waiting for the coronavirus pandemic to end so that they can complete all her current commitments. Tamannaah recently signed a deal with Aha and she would soon host a talk show. The latest news is that Tamannaah already signed the remake of Kannada blockbuster film Love Mocktail. The film is made on a budget of Rs 2 crores and it raked massive money at the Kannada box-office.
Tamannaah and Satyadev will play the lead roles in this romantic drama. Naga Sekhar will direct the film and Kala Bhairava will compose the music and background score for his Kannada remake. The show will be on the lines of Koffee with Karan, Rana’s No1 Yaari and other shows that would feature top actors. Tamannaah is all excited about the show and the shoot will commence in Hyderabad very soon. Tamannaah is said to be taking home a hefty remuneration per season for the talk show.
She would be charging Rs 8-10 lakhs per interview for this talk show. Tamannaah is in plans to allocate a week’s dates so that the makers can record 7-8 interviews. Aha is also in plans to ink a deal with a leading tv channel to telecast the talk show after it is aired on Aha. Tamannaah is expected to earn close to Rs 3 crores per season through this talk show. This is sure a huge boost for the actress during this lockdown time as there is no chance for the film shoots to resume anytime soon. There are strong speculations that Ram Charan and Allu Arjun are the guests for the first episode of this talk show.
Mega Producer Allu Aravind signed Milky beauty Tamanaah for a talk show that will start soon. The show is currently designed and it is said to be on the lines ‘Koffee with Karan’. Actress Tamannaah Bhatia urges people to be more compassionate towards the underprivileged people, especially at a time when the world is dealing with the pandemic of coronavirus.
“This is not just restricted to a particular industry. It’s a global pandemic and we all need to be responsible citizens and help the government and medical bodies to fight this battle and come out undefeated. We need to keep our anxiety and depression under check as these are trying times, and we need to be there for another and practise compassion towards the less privileged,” Tamannaah told IANS.
The “Baabubali” actress added: “It’s interesting to see how this outbreak and global emergency has taught us to return to our roots, embrace a more holistic lifestyle, think about our commitment to the environment and redefine our life goals. Nothing is constant and the only constant changes, so embrace the impermanent nature of life.”
Before the lockdown, Tamannaah had finished shooting the Nawazuddin starrer “Bole Chudiya”, and she has a few projects in the pipeline.
Sharing her experience of working with the National award-winning actor Nawazuddin, she said: “I’m a huge fan of Nawazuddin. He’s so precise and professional. While working with him, I was surprised because he comes off as such a serious and brooding actor, but he was the opposite on the set of this love story. Whenever I would tell him that I would surprise him with my performances, he reciprocated with such spontaneity. In fact, our give-and-take during the scenes came about in a fluid manner.”
Gopichand and Tamannaah are working on a sports drama that is titled Seetimaarr. Sampath Nandi is the director. Both Gopichand and Tamannaah will be seen in the role of Kabaddi coaches in the film. The makers unveiled the look of Tamannaah who is playing Jwala Reddy in the film. The film seems to unveil a new shade of Tamannaah in the film as she looks fearless in the poster. The shoot of the film is currently under process. Seetimaarr is slated for summer release and is produced by Srinivasaa Chitturi.
Nandamuri Balakrishna is currently in a lean patch and he is all set to start shooting for his next film directed by Boyapati Srinu. He pinned many hopes on this big-budget action entertainer that is in the final stages of pre-production. Boyapati is in plans to rope in a top-rated actress for the project. Several names are considered and the makers approached Tamannaah for the film.
The actress straightaway rejected the film citing that she is quite busy with other projects. Actress Tamannaah Bhatia, who has a no on-screen kissing clause in her film contracts, is ready to break the policy for actor Hrithik Roshan.
In an episode of chat show “Famously Filmfare” (Tamil), Tamannaah said that if she ever gets a chance to work with Hrithik, she is ready to bend the rule for him.
“I don’t kiss on-screen basically. So that’s actually a part of my contract. But I keep joking with my friends, with Hrithik Roshan, yay! I would, I would,” she said as she blushed away.
The “Baahubali: The Beginning” actress also recalled her first meeting with Hrithik.
She said: “I am a huge Hrithik Roshan fan. I recently bumped into him and I was so stupid. I was like ‘Hi, I am a big fan and so nice to meet you’ and then I was like okay I didn’t know what else to say. And then he walked a little and looked back. He was like, ‘You want a picture?’ and I was like ‘Yes! I want a picture.
“So, I felt like a 16-year-old when I met him for the first time.”
On the work front, Tamannaah has done several Bollywood movies like “Humshakals”, “Entertainment” and “Himmatwala”, but she is more popular down south.

Filmmaker S.S. Rajamouli on Monday said filmmaker S. Shankar’s words of praise for his film “Baahubali 2: The Conclusion”, which has already turned out a blockbuster, will inspire him to work harder.
Shankar on Sunday described “Baahubali 2: The Conclusion” as “pride of Indian cinema”. He added that he was awestruck by its “grandness, beauty and music”.
In response to Shankar’s tweet, Rajamouli tweeted: “Thank you sir. Your words are an inspiration to work even harder. Our team is ecstatic and jubilant.”
The first part, “Baahubali: The Beginning”, released in July 2015 and minted over Rs 600 crore at the box office. “Baahubali 2: The Conclusion” was expected to come out in 2016.
However, the makers took time and released the film on April 28 in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam.
With an estimated earnings of over Rs 400 crore from first day across four languages, the second part in the “Baahubali” franchise is said to have registered the biggest opening for an Indian film.
Starring Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty, Tamannaah Bhatia, Sathyaraj and Ramya Krishnan, the film is produced by Arka Media Works.
Actress Ramya Krishnan, who plays queen Sivagami in “Baahubali 2: The Conclusion”, on Saturday said she is overwhelmed by the love and support people are showering on the film.
“Love you all. Without your love, affection and support I wouldn’t be where I am today. I am so overwhelmed. Jai Mahishmati,” Ramya tweeted.
Her role in both the parts of the franchise has been raved about by audiences and critics alike.
Thanks to the popularity of her role, a book by the name ‘The Rise of Sivagami’ was also released.
Ramya went on to thank director S.Rajamouli, producer Shobu Yarlagadda and the entire crew of the film.
The film stars Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty, Tamannaah Bhatia, Sathyaraj and Ramya Krishnan.
Early morning shows of S.S Rajamouli’s magnum opus “Baahubali 2: The Conclusion” were cancelled on Friday due to financial issues in Tamil Nadu, industry sources said.
“Tamil Nadu distributor K Productions owes Rs 15 crore to Arka Mediworks, the makers of ‘Baahubali 2’. Arka is yet to issue KDM for the release of Telugu and Tamil versions of the film in the state,” a source told IANS.
A theatre owner, on the condition of anonymity, said the issue is likely to be settled by the afternoon.
“Talks are being currently held to settle the deficit. Shows are likely to open from noon,” the theatre owner said.
The Hindi version, however, has released in Tamil Nadu.
“The Hindi version didn’t have any issues because it’s being released nationwide by Anil Thadani,” the source added.
Meanwhile, “Baahubali 2” has released in other parts of the country and has been received well.
The film stars Rana Daggubati, Prabhas, Anushka Shetty, Tamannaah Bhatia, Sathyaraj and Ramya Krishnan.
