2019 is turning to be not so lucky for Vijay Deverakonda. This year he had released ‘Dear Comrade’ which was a huge flop at the box-office. It was a big setback for him. He has postponed his other movie ‘World Famous Lover’ to the next year after seeing the result of ‘Dear Comrade’.

His brother Anand Deverakonda’s debut film ‘Dorasaani’ met with bad results. He also turned producer this year with ‘Meeku Maathram Cheptha’ but it didn’t set the box-office on fire. He extensively promoted the film and even shot for a promotional song. Ideally, the youthful drama should have pulled good openings as brand Deverakonda is huge in the market. Apparently, this is not a favorable period for him. The film took pretty low openings on its first weekend.

Vijay Deverakonda expected it would become another ‘Pelli Choopulu’. Maybe Vijay needs to take things slow and start afresh in 2020.

Vijay Devarakonda inked a three-film deal with top production house Mythri Movie Makers. But things changed after Dear Comrade ended up as a dud. Vijay Devarakonda already started shooting for his next film Hero in the direction of Anand Annamalai. There were speculations that the actor was not convinced with the final draft and soon there are no traces about the project. The makers already spent Rs 12 crores on the film and action episode was shot in Buddh International Circuit in Noida.

As per the latest update, Vijay Devarakonda is back to Hero and the next schedule is planned from November. The actor plays a racer in Hero and with the track available from November, the makers are planning the schedules. Some interesting racing episodes will be canned in Buddh International Circuit and Coimbatore Racing Track soon. Vijay Devarakonda is in plans to complete the shoot of Hero at the earliest and will start Puri Jagannadh’s Fighter early next year.

After the super success of Arjun Reddy and Geetha Govindam, Vijay Devarakonda was rushed with offers and several top directors of Telugu cinema including Koratala Siva and Trivikram met Vijay Devarakonda and offered a film for the talented actor. But things changed completely after the debacle of Dear Comrade. The actor’s aggressive behavior and over-excitement brought a huge negative wave for Vijay Devarakonda.

He is not in a hurry and decided to do one film at a time.

Vijay Devarakonda’s father too turned quite active and is arranging meetings with the actor on a regular basis after he completes his shoot for the day. Vijay Devarakonda is spending ample time discussing about interesting scripts. The actor who promised a bunch of films for several producers is now keen on bound script rather than taking home a fat paycheque.

Vijay Devarakonda is currently shooting for Kranthi Madhav’s romantic drama that will release during the end of this year.

Highly talented young filmmaker Nag Ashwin is prepping up for his next film. After delivering a crowd-pleasing biopic with Mahanati, Nag Ashwin took some time to finalize the script for his third film which is likely to commence later this year.

As per the latest buzz, the Yevade Subrahmanyam director is going to team up with happening hero Vijay Devarakonda. Reportedly, Vijay is impressed with Ashwin’s work in Mahanati and agreed to work with him if he gets a strong subject. After penning character roles in his first two films, Nag Ashwin has now readied a full length role for the Arjun Reddy actor.

Both Vijay and Ashwin are committed to work for three films for producer Swapna Dutt. So, they are going to unite for the third time to complete the contract. More details about this project will be out soon.

He is currently busy with the shoot of Kranthi Madhav’s film and Vijay Devarakonda is yet to take a call on his next film. The actor should be extra cautious and make wise moves before his market tumbles down.
