Harish Shankar gets the final nod from Megastar

Harish Shankar is one of the most talented directors of Telugu cinema. After a long break, he is directing Ravi Teja in Mr Bachchan and the shoot is nearing completion. Harish Shankar is working with Powerstar Pawan Kalyan in Ustad Bhagat Singh and the shoot got delayed due to the political commitments of Pawan. In this meanwhile, Harish Shankar approached Megastar with a script. The discussions have been going on for the past few months. As per the latest development, Chiranjeevi gave his formal nod and asked Harish Shankar to prepare the final script.

BVS Ravi penned the basic idea and the team is now busy working on the script. The shoot of the film may start in August after Chiranjeevi completes the shoot of Vishwambara. Harish Shankar gets a rare opportunity as he got to direct Chiranjeevi and Pawan Kalyan in the same year. Megastar’s Social Drama Loading

Megastar Chiranjeevi is shooting for his next film Vishwambara, a socio-fantasy film directed by Vassistha. The film is announced for January 10th 2025 release and Megastar is expected to complete the shoot of the film by June. He is holding talks with talented writer and director Harish Shankar for a film. BVS Ravi penned the story and Chiranjeevi gave his formal nod for the project. As per the update we hear, the film is a social drama with a strong message and it is laced with all the commercial ingredients.

Harish Shankar’s team is already working on the script and the shoot commences later this year. Sushmitha Konidela in association with People Media Factory will produce this project. An official announcement will be made soon. Harish Shankar is currently directing Ravi Teja’s Mr Bachchan and the film is aimed for release this year. The film is the official remake of Bollywood film Raid. Harish Shankar will also resume the shoot of Pawan Kalyan’s Sardar Gabbar Singh.

During the success meet of Ravi Teja’s Eagle, successful director Harish Shankar took a direct dig against the gossip website. Harish Shankar asked the website to write about him on an open note instead of using shadows and indirect statements. He said that he is not much bothered about their future plans and he is ready to raise his voice against the hatred. “How long should we take all this nonsense?” questioned Harish Shankar. “Yes, my films are coming soon. I am shooting for two films now and I have two big projects lined up. They will be announced soon” told the top director.

“Did anyone pay for me? Yes, I had a break for four years and I have four new projects lined up. What is your problem? There are a lot of personal attacks going on. People Media Factory’s Vishwa Prasad garu announced that he will be doing 100 films in his career. I am not sure how much I can do in my career. We cannot do so many films considering the situations. Vishwa Prasad garu is providing opportunities to lakhs of people through films. It is not about Saving Tigers. It is about Saving Producers. Websites came after cinema and trolling is not new for me. You can write anything about my upcoming movies. Trolling is not new for me and it started from my family itself” told Harish Shankar.
