South Indian Superstar Kamal Haasan is getting busy in politics and his films Vishwaroopam 2, Sabash Naidu have been delayed. The actor is all set to team up with sensational director Shankar for his next and the film is the sequel for his blockbuster film Bharateeyudu / Indian. The film’s announcement came last year and Shankar will start working on the project once he wraps up his work for 2.0. The latest news we hear is that the makers are keen on roping in Nayanthara to play the female lead in the film.

The regular shoot of Indian 2 will start from the second half of this year. The makers are considering Nayanthara to romance Kamal and the actress is yet to be approached. After popular producer Dil Raju walked out of the prestigious project, Lyca Productions who are busy bankrolling 2.0 will produce the film. Shankar is in plans to release Indian 2 during summer 2019 and the film will be shot simultaneously in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi languages.

Nayanthara becoming Lady super star in South India?

Nayanthara’s recent lady oriented social message movie Aramm became stupendous hit in Tamil. Efforts are on the way to either dub or remake this into Telugu. She is getting lady super star image in Tamil with this movie, similar to what Vijaya Shanti got after Karthavyam movie. While Vijaya Shanti’s role was of police officer, Nayanthara in this movie played role of IAS officer.

Aramm (meaning, Good deed) features Nayanthara in the lead role as a district collector, released on November 9 2017 and became sensational hit in Tamil. Nayanthara was well applauded for her performance as the district collector. Director Gopi Nainar received accolades for the treatment. Actually Gopi Nainar worked as assistant with Murugadoss and he attacked Murugadoss when Kathi movie released for not credits for the story. He claimed Kathi story (Kathi remade into Telugu with Chiranjeevi as Khaidi 150) was provided by him. After this Aramm movie, now many people applauding Gopi and some people in fact believing he might be the real writer for Kathi movie as well.

But anyway, with this movie, Nayanthara almost got a new image in Tamil Nadu and she looks like on her way to become Lady super star.

Sharat Marar bags Tamil blockbuster Remake Rights

Tollywood filmmaker Sharat Marar has been keen on producing films through his North Star Entertainments banner. He recently dubbed Vijay’s Mersal in Telugu and the film has been doing decent business at the box-office. The latest news we hear is that Sharat Marar managed to acquire the Telugu remake rights of Nayanthara’s recent film Aramm which has been creating sensation across Tamil Nadu. Gopi Nainar directed the film and Nayanthara played a Collector in the film.

Aramm is a smashing hit in Tamil and Sharat Marar is yet to take a call about the cast and crew. Though the price of the remake rights have not been disclosed, sources revealed that Sharat Marar acquired the rights for a decent price amidst huge competition. More details about the Telugu version will be out soon.

After two years, Nayanthara is back in the city for the shoot of her next Telugu film which features Nandamuri Balakrishna in the lead role. Directed by KS Ravikumar the movie’s shoot is going on in Ramoji Film City in a specially erected set.

Nayanthara will shoot for the film till the wrap of this schedule in which some key episodes along with action sequences are canned. Megastar Chiranjeevi signed his next Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy which is said to be a periodic drama. Surendar Reddy will direct the movie which has been planned to be launched on August 22nd on the occasion of Megastar’s birthday. After the release of Baahubali: The Conclusion, the makers of Uyyalavada Narasimha Reddy wanted to make the film in multiple languages so that it gets a wide release and can rake huge figures. Megastar is keen on roping in pan Indian actors for the film and the process is currently on.

The latest update says that the film will be launched on August 15th on Independence day as the film is the life story of the freedom fighter Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy. However the entire cast, crew of the movie will be announced on August 22nd. Nayanthara has been in talks for the female lead and AR Rahman is expected to compose the music. The regular shoot of Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy will start from September and Charan will bankroll the project on his prestigious Konidela Production Company banner.
