He signed a series of pan-Indian projects which are slated for release in the coming years. The latest speculation is that Prabhas and talented director Maruthi are all set to team up soon. Prabhas is committed to DVV Danayya for a film and the top producer has been on a hunt for the right director. The meeting between Maruthi and Danayya took place recently.

Maruthi penned an entertainer considering Prabhas and the discussions are on. Maruthi has to meet Prabhas and narrate the script and the top actor has to take the final call. Raja Deluxe is the title speculated for the project. Maruthi is known to complete shoots in quick schedules and Prabhas may vote for him if he gets impressed with the script. Prabhas’ Project K Release Date Locked

Prabhas is the next pan-Indian star of the country. The top actor has a series of films lined up and his next film Radhe Shyam is expected to hit the screens in summer. Prabhas is done with the shoot of Adipurush and the shoot of Salaar is expected to complete shoot before summer. Prabhas signed Project K in the direction of Nag Ashwin and the film completed two schedules. The film is of a new genre and is planned on a massive budget.

The film’s producer C Ashwini Dutt revealed that Project K will have its theatrical release in May 2023 if things go as per the plan. He said that the schedules are planned perfectly and the shooting portions are expected to be completed by the end of this year. He also said that he hired several floors to erect multiple sets for Project K. Amitabh Bachchan and Deepika Padukone will be seen in other important roles in this interesting film.

After the postponement of RRR, there are speculations about the release of Prabhas’ next pan-Indian attempt Radhe Shyam. The makers issued couple of official statements that the film will hit the screens as per the plan on January 14th all over. With the spread of the new Omicron variant huge all over, the makers of Radhe Shyam informed the distributors and other parties about the postponement of the release. There are talks that the makers are considering March 18th as the new release date of the film but things cannot be predicted now.

Radhe Shyam is a romantic saga that is directed by Radha Krishna Kumar. Prabhas and Pooja Hegde are the lead actors and UV Creations and Gopikrishna Movies are the producers. Ajith’s upcoming movie Valimai release too is pushed after the government of Tamil Nadu announced to shut the theatres across the state. The states of Tamil Nadu, Bihar, West Bengal and New Delhi announced the complete closure of theatres and states like Maharashtra, Karnataka and others will operate with 50 percent occupancy. A clarity on the release dates of Tollywood movies is expected this weekend.

In the wake of rising Covid cases in the country, the makers of ‘RRR’ had no option but to postpone the release of the magnum opus and now Prabhas’ ‘Radhe Shyam’ too may be delayed.

‘Radhe Shyam’ director Radha Krishna Kumar, who took to Twitter to express his feelings regarding the existing pandemic situation, wrote, “Times are tough, hearts are weak, minds in mayhem. Whatever life may throw at us – Our hopes are always High. Stay safe, stay high – Team #radheshyam.”

To this, one of his followers asked, “Are you indirectly trying to convey that ‘Radhe Shyam’ is to be postponed too?”, to which Radha Krishna Kumar replied, “If there is anything of such, it will be conveyed directly through official handles only”.

This reply of his has triggered more ambiguity regarding the movie’s release. As the director neither denied the postponement nor confirmed that the release would happen on time, so Prabhas’ fans seem to be in a confused state.

‘Radhe Shyam’ is scheduled for release on January 14 starring Prabhas, Pooja Hegde, Bhagya Shree, and others.

Young Rebelstar Prabhas is all set to work with Arjun Reddy sensation Sandeep Vanga. The film is titled Spirit and the shoot commences in 2023 once Prabhas is done with his current projects. The film will be an intense action drama and the for the first time, the pan-Indian actor will be seen in the role of a cop. The film’s producer Bhushan Kumar confirmed the news during a recent interview. He is also producing Prabhas’ Adipurush and Prabhas has a tailor-made role in the film told Bhushan Kumar.

Spirit also marks the 25th film of Prabhas and T Series, Bhadrakali Films are the producers. The film will be shot simultaneously in 8 languages and will release in 2024. Prabhas is done with the shoots of Radhe Shyam and Adipurush. He will complete the shoot of Salaar after which he will resume the shoot of Project K. Sandeep Vanga is on a break and he will work with Ranbir Kapoor for Animal in 2022.

RRR is officially postponed after considering the current market conditions. There are a lot of speculations about the release of the other biggie Radhe Shyam that features Prabhas in the lead role. Keeping an end to the speculations, the makers issued an official statement that the film will hit the screens on January 14th. The makers for now are considering three options: Theatrical Release, Pay Per View on OTT or a Direct OTT Release. The makers will take a call about the release before this weekend after reviewing the situation.

UV Creations and T Series received several OTT deals and they are considering all the three options. If not a theatrical release, the makers will finalize the best deal among the other two options. T Series has been mounting pressure on UV Creations to head for a direct digital release. The makers are also considering the theatrical deals which were signed earlier. They will have to deal with the issue sensitively as there are no restrictions in Telugu states for now. The buyers of AP and Telangana are requesting the makers to release Radhe Shyam in theatres. The final call on the release of Radhe Shyam will be taken in the next couple of days.

Young Rebelstar Prabhas is wrapping films at a fast pace after Saaho and Radhe Shyam. He completed the shoot of Adipurush in just 60 days and the actor was juggling between the sets of Radhe Shyam and Salaar during this time. Salaar is directed by Prashanth Neel and the film is a high voltage action entertainer. The film is now in the last leg of shoot and the film has one long schedule to complete the shoot. The last schedule will start in January 2022 and Prabhas is keen to complete Salaar and focus completely on Project K.

He opined that the whole terminology of ‘Pan Indian film’ had started with Baahubali. As per Karan Johar, ‘Baahubali-1’ had done 112 crores business, whereas Rajamouli’s previous film ‘Makki’ had done just 1 crore business in Hindi Belt. Karan Johar also opined that every megastar from south or mega director from south cannot repeat this magic all the time or often. “Only Baahubali just had that scale, it had Amar chitra katha quality which helped the film become a runaway hit “he added.

Karan Johar also shared his opinion about current Telugu biggies – RRR and Pushpa. KJ predicts that RRR is going to be opening massively with a 30 crore on First day for Hindi Version alone in India. That is huge, that is pan India he says. They (audience) don’t know NTR in Hindi, they don’t know Ram Charan in Hindi, though they are demigods in Telugu they are not know here in Hindi. Yet, the Rajamouli Brand will be bringing a staggering 30 crores on Day One. “Pan India film” is when all the things fall into place brilliantly just few times, it is not going to be repeated every time Karan says.
