Why is Revanth Reddy missing from Congress group pic?

1

Finally, the Telangana Congress has shown the resolve to take on KCR. It has organised a state-wide satyagraha against the ruling TRS. All major leaders sat together in the dharna and staged protest. Speeches were made and the TRS was roundly criticised. So far so good! But, where is TPCC working president Revanth Reddy ?  Well! Revanth Reddy was conspicuous by his absence.

Revanth Reddy, who is now considered the hot favourite for the post of the PCC chief was not invited to the meeting. The other leaders, who were present, also did not make any announcement as to why Revanth was missing from the group pic.  But, even in his absence, Revanth Reddy was the hot topic of discussion among the Congress circles. The party workers debated over his absence from such an important protest programme.

This has once again exposed the schism in the Congress Party. Young Revanth, who has mass appeal and has considerable support among the youths, is all alone in the party echelons. The leaders in the state unit are clearly not happy with his rise. He has not been invited to the programmes earlier too. This assumes significance as Revanth is tipped to be the next PCC chief.

The Congress leaders, including PCC chief Uttam Kumar Reddy, Malli Bhatti Vikramarka, D Sridhar Babu, Vamshi Chandar Reddy, Ponnala Lakshmaiah and others, sat on a dharna till 1 pm on Monday. The Congress leaders slammed  KCR government for its alround failure to tackle Corona. They expressed alarm at the growth of black fungus cases in the state and said the State Government was doing nothing to salvage the situation.

Cash-for-vote case: Revanth gets another jolt in HC!

It seems the noose is tightening around TPCC working president and Malkajgiri MP A Revanth Reddy in the ‘cash-for-vote’ case, in which he was caught red handed by Telangana ACB in May 2015 while offering Rs 50 lakh bribe to TRS nominated MLA Stephenson.

Recently, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) filed a charge-sheet naming Revanth Reddy as the prime accused in this case.

While Revanth is already in a state of shock following ED’s charge sheet, he received another shock in Telangana High Court in the same case on Tuesday.

Revanth filed a petition in the High Court stating that cash-for-vote case does not fall under the purview of ACB but it comes under the purview of Election Commission of India and sought High Court to dismiss case filed by ACB against him in this case.

However, the High Court dismissed Revanth’s petition on Tuesday.

Recently, Revanth filed a similar petition in ACB Court, which too dismissed his petition. Following this, Revanth approach High Court against ACB Court orders but he did not get any reprieve in the High Court also.

Revanth Reddy’s silence and absence after ‘cash for vote’ charge sheet!

1

TPCC working president and Malkajgiri MP A Revanth Reddy’s ‘complete silence’ after Enforcement Directorate filed charge sheet against him in the sensational cash for vote case is creating a buzz in political circles.

Revanth Reddy who hogs limelight in media almost everyday by attacking Telangana CM KCR, his family members and TRS government, is not seen anywhere for the last four days after ED filed charge sheet.

ED filed charge sheet on May 27 naming Revanth Reddy as the main accused in this case booked six years ago in May 2015.

Revanth did not respond on this chargesheet either.

His mobile phone is also learnt to be ‘switched off’ later. Party leaders and cadre are clueless where Revanth is now. While some say he is in Delhi since May 28, some others say he is in Hyderabad but remained inaccessible to all.

With this, Congress leaders and cadre are debating over Revanth’s complete silence and absence from public life after ED’s charge sheet.

This also triggered speculations over whether Revanth is considering to quit Congress and join BJP like Etela Rajender.

Revanth obstructed from providing free meals to Covid victims!

0

The Hyderabad city police on Sunday obstructed TPCC working president and Malkajgiri MP A Revanth Reddy from providing free meals to Covid victims in Gandhi Hospital as well as for poor people at Secunderabad railway station.

Revanth has launched ‘free annadanam programme’ to help poor people and Covid victims.

Revanth arranged vehicles to transport free meals.

When Revanth was proceeding towards Gandhi Hospital, the police stopped him at Begumpet saying that MPs have no exemption to come on to the roads during lockdown from 10am to 6 am.

This led to heated arguments between police and Revanth. When Revanth questioned who ordered police to stop him, the police replied that they had orders from minister KT Rama Rao not to permit him to visit Hospitals or any other place outside during lockdown.

Revanth questioned police and KTR whether people take meals in the morning or at noon.

Revanth lashed out at KTR for doing ‘dirty politics’ even during these Covid times and preventing him from serving food to poor for free.

Revanth asked KTR to behave like a human being and have some humanity and don’t play dirty politics all the time.

Revanth’s sensational disclosures against “Namaste Telangana”!

7

TPCC working president and Malkajgiri MP A Revanth Reddy made a sensational disclosure against “Namaste Telangana” newspaper owned by family members of TRS chief and Telangana CM K Chandrashekar Rao.

Revanth released documentary evidence at a press conference held on Monday (today) saying that Namaste Telangana paper owns 2.8 acres in Devarayamjal village of Shamirpet mandal in Medchal-Malkajgiri districts.

KCR on Monday ordered an inquiry against Etala Rajender into the alleged encroachment of temple lands at Devarayamjal village saying that the government had received complaints that Etala and few other individuals and benamis encroached 1,521 aces belonging to Seetha Rama Temple.

Revanth exposed with documentary evidence that Namasthe Telangana also owns land belonging to this temple under Survey No. 437and demanded KCR to order an inquiry over how Namaste Telangana acquired these lands belonging to temple along with inquiry on Etala.

Revanth also said that Namasthe Telangana printing unit has been set up on this land parcel from where the daily is printed every day.

Revanth questioned KCR how this land was registered on Namaste Telangana when the temple lands are under the prohibitory list.

He also asked KCR to tell why survey numbers of temple lands were not put up on Endowments Department website.

He also alleged that KCR’s son KTR and minister Malla Reddy also owns land in these survey numbers and they too should be sacked from cabinet immediately like Etala was sacked to enable free and fair probe into temple lands encroachment issue.

YSR made a hole, Jagan widening it: Revanth Reddy

2

The Rayalaseema Lift Irrigation Project extension by Jagan Reddy government has caused such a political storm in Telangana that all the parties there are uniting against it. Now, Congress MP Revanth Reddy made a bitter comment saying that YSR damaged Telangana interests by drilling a hole at Pothireddypadu project site while his son Jagan Reddy was bent upon widening it cause greater harm. Telangana was able to lift just 1 TMC from Krishnan basin but Andhra Pradesh was taking away 12 TMC.

Also, Revanth Reddy deplored that there was a conspiracy going on to kill the power projects belonging to Telangana. He made indirect remarks at Srisailam fire tragedy, saying that there were plans to kill old power projects to construct new ones in their place to make fast money.

Revanth made these comments following reports that the National Green Tribunal reserved its orders on the Rayalaseema lift project initiated by Jagan Reddy regime. The Telangana based petitioner, Gavinolla Srinivas, alleged that AP Government misled the experts committee by saying that Pothireddypadu extension project was part of an existing project.

Working president of Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) and Malkajgiri MP A. Revanth Reddy and party president vice-president Mallu Ravi were arrested by the police when they were on their way to meet the families of those killed in the fire mishap at Telangana State Power Generation Corporation (TSGenco).

Revanth Reddy condemned the arrest as most undemocratic and stated that the KCR government is using the police to muzzle deny the democratic rights of the people. Uttam Kumar Reddy also condemned the arrests.

KTR to take legal action against Revanth Reddy

2

IT and MAUD minister K T Rama Rao is mulling legal recourse over the accusations levelled by Congress MP Revanthi Reddy over alleged illegal construction of a farmhouse at Janwada near Hyderabad.

Revanth Reddy accused KTR of buying a 25 acre site and building structures flouting Government Order 111 which prohibits putting up permanent structures in the catchment area of the Osmansagar Lake. He moved the National Green Tribunal following which the NGT had issued notices to KT Rama Rao, Pollution Control Board (PCB) and Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HDMA). A fact-finding committee has been asked to submit a report in two months.

Taking to Twitter, KTR said he will take necessary legal action against Revanth Reddy for making false allegations against him. “The NGT case filed against me by a congressman is a deliberate personal vilification campaign based on utter false statements. It remains a fact that I don’t own the property as clarified by me earlier I will seek appropriate legal remedies by exposing the falsehood of allegations,” he tweeted. @KTRTRS

After NGT probe, Cong demands Telangana Minister’s ouster

0

The opposition Congress has demanded resignation of Telangana Minister K.T. Rama Rao after the National Green Tribunal (NGT) on Friday ordered probe into alleged violations in an environmentally protected area on the city’s outskirts.

Speaking to the media on Saturday, Congress MP and state party working president Anumula Revanth Reddy said the Minister should immediately step down in the interests of free and fair enquiry into the matter.

Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao’s son holds the IT, the Municipal Administration and the Urban Development portfolio.

The NGT order came following a petition to the NGT by Revanth Reddy. In his petition in March, Reddy said the Minister owned 25-acre farmhouse in a bio-conservation zone where no construction was allowed.

On Friday, the NGT also set up a panel to enquire into the veracity of Reddy’s claims and asked it to submit its report in two months.

Pointing out with some members of the probe panel are officials in departments that come under the Minister, Reddy said he must step down immediately. “Failing which, the Chief Minister should drop him from the ministry,” he said.

As Hyderabad city’s drinking water requirements are sourced from Himayatsagar and Osmansagar, the Government Order 111 was introduced in 1996 to protect the catchment areas of the two lakes from civil and commercial development.

TRS Govt digs up old case to book Revanth!

0

The TRS government has dug up an old case to fix Malkajgiri Lok Sabha member and Congress working president A Revanth Reddy.

KCR targets ‘Reddy police’ in Revanth’s Pragathi Bhavan fiasco!

0

TRS chief and Telangana CM K Chandrasekhar is suspecting “Reddy caste angle” in Congress leader Revanth Reddy breaking strong police cordon and reaching his camp office as part of Congress agitation programme to lay siege to CM’s official residence Pragathi Bhavan on Monday.

Grapevine has it that a senior police officer hailing from Reddy community helped Revanth Reddy with a ‘caste feeling’ to reach Pragathi Bhavan, which KCR built it as a fortress with unprecedented security cover from all sides.

Huge police force was deployed at Revanth’s house from Sunday night itself to prevent him from coming outside his house on Monday to lay siege to Pragathi Bhavan.

Despite this, Revanth gave a miss to the police at his house and reached Pragathi Bhavan by bike.

KCR strongly feels that Revanth coming out of his house and reach Pragathi Bhavan was not possible even in the wildest of the dreams unless police support him.

KCR took this issue seriously and investigated from all angles with the help of senior police staff and intelligence departments.

Finally, he came to the conclusion that police with “Reddy caste feeling’ helped Revanth Reddy to do this daring act of touching Pragathi Bhavan.

KCR today (Wednesday) issued orders sacking Asifnagar ACP Nandyala Narasimha Reddy.

Narasimha Reddy was posted at Pragathi Bhavan on Monday to ensure that no one breaks the police cordon and tight security there.

He was not given any posting and attached to DGP Office without posting till further orders.

Jubilee Hills SI Naveen Reddy has been directed to lodge a complaint against Revanth Reddy for attacking police posted at his residence and fled away from the house.

Following his complaints, police booked Revanth and three of his followers under Sections 351, 353 and 332.

KCR shall be put in Andaman Jail: Revanth Reddy

0

CM K Chandrasekhar Rao has declared RTC employees as self-dismissed just for not attending to duties for two days. But what action KCR should take against himself for not coming to Secretariat for the last five years? No doubt, KCR deserves cases to be filed under the Preventive Detention Act and he shall be put in the Andaman Jail, said Congress firebrand MP Revanth Reddy.

At the height of Telangana agitation, Chandrasekhar Rao promised to pay salaries to the RTC Employees on a with those of the Central Government. But now, the CM has totally changed his stand and badly targeting the employees.

Revanth Reddy accused KCR of using all unhealthy methods to suppress the RTC agitation. He further said that if this agitation fails now, there is every danger that no voice can be heard in future to protect the people’s rights. No voice will be there in the entire Telangana to question the undemocratic rule of KCR. Revanth appealed to the employees leaders to realise the danger to Telangana society and jointly fight against KCR Regime.

Revanth Reddy’s interesting comments on Pawan Kalyan

0

Fire brand leader Revanth Reddy who started voicing against Uranium mining in Nallamala forests made interesting comments on Pawan in a TV debate.

It is known news that recently Congress leader V. Hanumantha Rao met Pawan to voice against this issue. Revanth Reddy also was asking Pawan to make people aware on this issue. Pawan responded positively and wrote in twitter that, “#SaveNallamala Earth doesn’t belong to man,man belongs to Earth. — In 1852, the United States Government inquired about buying the tribal lands for the arriving people of the United States, & the Chief Seattle wrote a marvellous letter in reply.”

When Revanth Reddy was asked about the reason for involving Pawan on this issue, he made interesting comments on Pawan. He told that Pawan has good reputation in Telugu states for his genuineness in politics. He added that, even though Pawan didn’t get success in politics, people are convinced that Janasen chief will take up issues genuinely keeping aside all political issues and he never makes calculations on political benefits or political losses while taking up issues.

Revanth Reddy’s comments, needless to say, brought cheer among Janasena fans.

Firebrand Revanth Reddy expected to join BJP?

0

The Congress party in Telangana is facing one crisis after another. The other day, 12 MLAs have shifted loyalties to the ruling TRS party in the State. Now, two MPs are in talks with the BJP national leaders. Rumours are circulating that Malkajgiri firebrand MP Revanth Reddy and Bhongir MP Komatireddy Venkat Reddy are joining the BJP sooner than later. They have already held talks with BJP national general secretary Ram Madhav.

If this happens, Congress will be left with only one MP who is PCC President Uthamkumar Reddy, who is a die-hard loyalist of the Gandhi family. Political circles are full of speculation that the TRS and BJP will finish off the Congress party by destroying its state and second rung leadership totally.

The BJP has now set its sights on the anti-KCR Reddy leaders who are feeling that they cannot defeat TRS if the continue with the Congress. Once an unquestioned power in the Telugu states, the Congress has fallen flat after giving separate Telangana state in 2014. If Revanth and Venkat Reddy join the BJP now, then it is expected to be a final blow to the Congress in the state.
