Top director Sukumar loves to collaborate with other producers and young talent. He supervised the scripts and delivered a series of super hits through his production house Sukumar Writings. Sukumar should be appreciated for spending time on the projects of his associates. Surya Pratap and Buchi Babu emerged as successful directors because of Sukumar’s creative support. Though Sukumar made his directorial debut with Arya produced by Dil Raju, the duo never teamed up again. For the first time Sri Venkateswara Creations and Sukumar Writings collaborated for a small film Selfish that features Ashish in the lead role. The film is 80 percent complete and the makers have spent over Rs 10 crores on the project.

Kasi, a protege of Sukumar is making his debut as director and Sukumar penned the story and screenplay for Selfish. The film has been put on hold for a year for now and there are a lot of speculations going on. There are reports that the film is shelved and Love Me, the next film of Ashish got released recently. Sukumar and Dil Raju met recently about Selfish and Sukumar assured to spend time and make the needed corrections. He asked Dil Raju to wait till the release of Pushpa 2: The Rule. He promised to allocate a month to rework on the script and make changes so that the shoot will resume. The film is expected to resume shoot in 2025 and it will release post summer if Sukumar focuses on Selfish.

Icon Star Allu Arjun is shooting for Pushpa 2: The Rule and the film is slated for December 6th release. Sukumar is the director and Mythri Movie Makers are the producers of this pan-Indian attempt. With all the actors lining up a number of films, Allu Arjun is yet to announce his next. His talks with Atlee went well till the successful director demanded big remuneration. Atlee is now working for Salman Khan’s project and the shoot starts next year. Allu Arjun was also in talks with Jailer fame Nelson and the commitment is on. But Nelson can only work with Allu Arjun after he completes Jailer 2 which is in the pipeline. He is busy with the pre-production work of Jailer 2 and the shoot starts next year.

Allu Arjun met several top Bollywood directors and producers but he is not convinced with the narrations and developments. Sukumar and Allu Arjun will work on Pushpa 3 but the film will not happen soon. Sukumar will take a break and he will direct Ram Charan’s film next. Pushpa 3 will happen only after two years and the film’s fate will also depend on the result of Pushpa 2: The Rule. Allu Arjun is in talks with Trivikram and the film is said to be planned on a bigger scale and it will have a pan-Indian release. Trivikram has to narrate the final script and the discussions are on for now. Allu Arjun has no options left except Trivikram for now. We have to wait to see if he goes ahead with Trivikram or announce any other director’s name for his next film.

Sukumar is one director who stands as a great support for his assistants and writing team. Sukumar is the only Tollywood director who took the responsibility to introduce all his assistants. Surya Pratap and Buchi Babu are highly successful. Buchi Babu is all set to direct Ram Charan in his second directorial and Sukumar is completely involved in the project. Sukumar has now decided to introduce one more assistant from his team and the film is planned on a massive budget of Rs 150 crores. TG Vishwa Prasad of People Media Factory has come up to invest some big money in the film.

Sukumar Writings will co-produce this project and more details about the film will be made official soon. Sukumar generally has been collaborating with Mythri Movie Makers and this is the first collaboration of Sukumar and TG Vishwa Prasad. The talks are currently in advanced stages. Sukumar has plans to introduce a number of assistants who are working with him in the coming years. Sukumar is also in plans to collaborate with several top production houses of Telugu cinema. For now, he is completely focused on his next directorial Pushpa 2: The Rule that has Allu Arjun in the lead role. The film is slated for December 6th release.

The team of Pushpa 2: The Rule worked hard and met some of the makeup technicians in Mumbai. An artificial look alike beard was made and it is costing the makers Rs 40 lakhs. A top makeup artist is brought from Mumbai and he will take care of Bunny’s beard look in Pushpa 2: The Rule. The total process is costing Rs 40 lakhs for the makers. This is one more burden for the makers. The budget of Pushpa 2: The Rule reached new heights because of the number of working days and the delayed release plans.

After a series of speculations, Allu Arjun is back to the sets of Pushpa 2: The Rule and Sukumar is canning some important scenes on Allu Arjun and other cast. There are a lot of speculations about the film’s release and most of them say that the film cannot make it for December 6th release. Allu Arjun and the producers are mounting pressure on Sukumar to release the film at any cost on the announced date. He will soon promote Love Me and the film releases on April 27th.
