Pushpa: The Rule Hindi Deal is a Record

Pushpa: The Rule is the hottest film in trade and the film is slated for August 15th release this year. The makers are closing all the deals and the pre-release business for the film is a new record. Bollywood top distributor Anil Thadani inked a deal with the makers of Pushpa: The Rule and AA Films will release the film across the North Indian belt. The deal was closed for Rs 200 crores and the entire amount is refundable. This is the biggest ever advance paid for any South Indian film in the North Indian belt.

The shooting formalities of Pushpa: The Rule will be completed in June. The asking price for the theatrical deals for the Telugu states too is quite high. Allu Arjun and his team is in plans to promote the film aggressively across the nation. Pushpa: The Rule is directed by Sukumar and is bankrolled by Mythri Movie Makers. Devi Sri Prasad scored the music and the first single from the film will be out next month. Rashmika is the leading lady in Pushpa: The Rule.

After Pushpa: The Rise was shaping up well, Allu Arjun and Sukumar decided to go with the sequel Pushpa: The Rule and it is under shoot. Sukumar is one director who develops and improves his script on the sets. The ideas got bigger and the span of Pushpa: The Rule became vast. The duo realized that Pushpa: The Rule cannot be told in a single part. Sukumar started expanding the script and it is how Pushpa 3 got materialized. Sukumar also started shooting for some of the portions of Pushpa 3 and this news is kept under wraps.

The major part of filming of Pushpa: The Rule is already completed. The editing work is going on. Sukumar and Allu Arjun are targeting to complete the shoot of Pushpa 3 by October and the film is aimed for summer 2025 release. Allu Arjun has other projects lined up and Sukumar too has to move for Ram Charan’s film next year. Hence, they are keen to complete the shooting portions of Pushpa 3 at the earliest. Mythri Movie Makers are funding the project and they are happy that the third part is under making as they can do exceptional business for the crazy franchise. Both Allu Arjun and Sukumar will share the profits from Pushpa: The Rule and Pushpa 3.

As per the update, Dil Raju and Sukumar decided to shelve Selfish after watching the rough cut. Dil Raju has spent over Rs 12.5 crores on the film and he was unhappy with the output. Sukumar and Dil Raju decided to associate with one more film soon and Selfish has been shelved. Ashish got married to Advitha recently in a destination wedding in Jaipur. He will soon promote Love Me and the film releases on April 27th.

Supreme hero Sai Dharam Tej’s upcoming film Virupaksha has caught a fair amount of buzz in the last few days. It is a mystic thriller directed by Karthik Dandu. Already released trailer of the film promises a chilling mystic thriller. Virupaksha is produced by BVSN Prasad under the banners of Sri Venkateswara Cine Chitra and Sukumar Writings. Samyuktha Menon is the lead actress.

Yesterday makers held a grand pre release event in Eluru and director Sukumar attended the event as chief guest. The director and co-producer of Virupaksha explained the brave efforts of team along with Sai Dharam Tej hard work after the accident. He said “I still remember the first day he joined sets after accident, he was unable to utter words. It’s like a rebirth as an actor and by learning each word he completed the film

He added “Coming to technical team, Sham’s visuals are incredible. If this film is a success, he will receive a lot of credit. Ajaneesh did an excellent job with the RR and sound design. Nagendra’s sets were stunning. They didn’t look like sets because they were so real. Samyukta was fluent in Telugu.”

Sunil, Rajeev Kanakala, Jhansi and Brahmaji are going to be seen in lead roles. The technical crew of the film includes Shamdat Sainudeen for cinematography and Navin Nooli for editing. ‘Virupaksha’ is all set to hit the screens on April 21, 2023.
