Ram Charan confident on Bollywood comeback

Ram Charan is producing his father Megastar Chiranjeevi’s magnum opus Syeraa which is slated for October 2nd release. During the Mumbai press meet of the film, several reporters asked Charan about his Bollywood comeback. Some of them asked if he is shy of returning back to Hindi. Charan without making any time waste clarified that he is making a grand comeback next year with SS Rajamouli’s RRR which is under shoot.

“I am not shy to return back to Bollywood. As we said, it is the content that is making me wait to return back. SS Rajamouli’s RRR is a perfect film to make my comeback to Hindi. I am returning back to Hindi next year with RRR. It took 25 years for my father to return to Hindi and I am confident that Syeraa will make an impact here too” said Charan. Syeraa directed by Surendar Reddy is hitting the screens on October 2nd across the globe.

During one of promotions of Saaho, Prabhas revealed that Chiranjeevi called him after watching the trailer of Saaho and said that his appreciation stunned him.

SS Rajamouli’s patriotic drama RRR has NTR and Ram Charan playing the roles of freedom fighters Komaram Bheem and Alluri Seetharama Raju. The shooting of this highly anticipated big budget entertainer is happening at a brisk pace and audience are eagerly waiting to get a glimpse of the first look posters.

On the eve of Friendship Day, RRR makers have started to promote the film in a creative way with clever strategy. First it was SS Rajamouli who tweeted a photo of him with producer Sai Korrapati along with a friendship quote. He used the hashtag #RRRYehDosti. Then NTR posted a lovely photo in which he is seen bonding with Ram Charan and he used the same hash tag. Charan also posted a similar photo on his Instagram page.

It is a known fact that RRR is a fictional story set in the backdrop of pre independence era. Both Komaram Bheem and Seetharama Raju unexpectedly meet during freedom struggle and unite to take on the British forces. So, the makers of RRR have chosen friendship day to promote the film in a creative way by showcasing the real life bonding between the two actors.

The film also features Alia Bhatt and Ajay Devgn in significant roles. RRR is slated for release in June 2020.

Man dupes lady lawyer for 50 lakhs with an offer in RRR

A conman in Hyderabad has duped a lady of Rs 50 lakhs on the pretext of offering her an acting role in SS Rajamouli’s upcoming film RRR.

As per the reports,V.Naresh Kumar, who is working as an assistant in a colour lab in Banjara Hills introduced himself as film producer Aditya to a 73 year old lady of Boyanapalli area. She is a lawyer in a Hyderabad court. Naresh Kumar frequently called her for suggestions on his divorce. He made her believe that he is one of the producers of RRR movie. Later on, he reportedly promised her acting chance in RRR and asked her to pay some amount for screen tests and other formalities.

The lady fell into his trap and has paid him a total of 50 lakhs. After few days, she demanded him to give the details of shooting schedule and her role. He starting avoiding her and finally switched off his mobile. This has triggered suspicion and she approached the Boyanapalli police station. A case has been lodged and the police are on the lookout for the offender.

The other day, the family of freedom fighter Uyyalavada Narasimha Reddy protested before the office of Ram Charan who is producing Syeraa based on the freedom fighter’s life. They claimed that Charan who promised a decent compensation for acquiring the rights of Uyyalavada but he is yet to make the payment. But the real facts are disturbing and surprising.

As many as hundred people approached Ram Charan’s office in the recent times claiming themselves to be the successors of Uyyalavada. The freedom fighter had three wives and an entire village is claiming themselves as successors now. Charan it yet to take a call on this as he is left puzzled. Producer NV Prasad who is close to Mega family opened up about the controversy saying that a bunch of people has been blackmailing the team of Syeraa for money which will not be tolerated.

He clarified that not a single scene was shot in Uyyalavada Narasimha Reddy’s village and all those who are blackmailing can approach the court and fight legally. He also said that Megastar Chiranjeevi promised an idol of Uyyalavada in his village. We have to wait to see how this controversy comes to an end. Syeraa is expected to release on October 2nd. After the mammoth global success of Baahubali series, director SS Rajamouli’s popularity outside India has reached a whole new level. This is the reason why his next film RRR, starring NTR and Ram Charan, is red hot in trade circles in international market. The 300 Crore budget patriotic drama is likely to do unprecedented pre release business even before the shoot is half done.

Telugu360 has now exclusively learnt that the overseas theatrical rights of RRR have been snapped for a stunning 65 Crore. Dubai based distribution company Phars Films LLC has reportedly made a single payment to RRR producer to grab the all language rights of all countries barring China. This is on par with the pre release business of Baahubali 2 in overseas. It seems like RRR is going to set new benchmark for Indian films in terms of pre release business.

Charan and NTR to resume shoot soon

The shooting of SS Rajamouli’s upcoming multi-starrer, which is tentatively titled as RRR, is temporarily halted as both NTR and Charan suffered injuries in the recent schedule. While Charan sprained his ankle, NTR injured his shoulder while shooting. So, the team took a short break to allow both of them to completely recover from these minor injuries.

It is now learnt that NTR and Charan are fully fine and ready to join the sets very soon. The next schedule will kick off in a week and the intro episodes of both the lead actors will be canned in the fresh schedule. Bollywood actors Ajay Devgn and Alia Bhatt, who are essaying significant roles in this period drama, are expected to join the sets in the next schedule. As foreign actress Daisy Edgar Jones exited from the project, Rajamouli is currently on the lookout for a replacement.
