Bro Crashes on First Monday – 4 days Worldwide Collections

Bro crashed on its First Monday as the film has collected a worldwide distributor share of 2.9 Cr (2.6 Cr excluding GST). In the Telugu States, the film has collected a distributor share of 2.32 Cr (2.01 Cr excluding GST) dropping 78 percent from Sunday which is huge. A 60 Percent drop from Sunday is generally bearable but here the problem is that the film had only a decent weekend thus the Monday collections should have been 50 percent of Sunday for the buyers to have some hope for recovery. Now it’s almost confirmed that the film will end up as a Disaster unless it holds very well on the weekdays showing fewer drops and a good second weekend as there is no competition. The total worldwide share of the film stands at 56.80 Cr (51.20 Cr excluding GST).

Weekend Box-office: Virupaksha on the Top

0

Akhil Akkineni’s Agent and Mani Ratnam’s PS2 released on Friday with huge expectations. Agent is racing towards one of the biggest debacles of Telugu cinema. The makers will stare at huge losses and the film failed to make any impact over the long weekend. PS2 opened on a dull note and remained low during the weekend. But the film will complete its first week on a comfortable note while Agent will struggle on the weekdays.

Sai Tej’s Virupaksha dominated the Tollywood box-office over the long weekend. The film witnessed packed houses on Sunday and Monday across the Telugu states. Virupaksha has taken the top slot for the last weekend at the Tollywood box-office. Virupaksha marks a perfect comeback for Sai Dharam Tej after the actor suffered a major road accident. Debutant Karthik Dandu directed the film and Samyuktha played the leading lady. Gopichand’s Rama Baanam and Allari Naresh’s Ugram are releasing this Friday.

Prepare for Unexpected thrills in Virupaksha

1

‘Virupaksha’ is Supreme Hero Sai Dharam Tej‘s upcoming film, which is set to be released on April 21 this year. Samyuktha Menon is playing the female lead. The team is already busy promoting the film, and they recently completed a successful pre-release event in Eluru.

However, the film has become the talk of the industry, with the intriguing content makers bringing for audience. Recently, the movie cleared its censor formalities and was awarded an A certificate from the CBFC. The crisp runtime has been locked at 2 hours and 20 minutes.

When inquired about this situation, it was revealed that the second half of the film will be an edge-of-the-seat entertaining thriller with a bit of goosebumps horror element. Audience can definitely expect something unexpected in the theatres.

This is an interesting genre with black magic and supernatural forces and if it clicks, the impact will be great. The team is silent about the ‘A’ certificate thing as they haven’t released any information regarding censor certification.

The film is helmed by Karthik Dandu, produced by SVCC and Sukumar Writings, has generated a massive buzz with its promotional material, and the makers are confident that the film will enthrall audiences. B Ajaneesh Loknath is the music director for the film.
