Buzz: Akkineni and Mega multi-starrer on Cards?

Veteran actors Chiranjeevi, Balakrishna, Nagarjuna and Venkatesh worked for many movies but they could not team up with each other for multi-starrers. Chiranjeevi and Nagarjuna announced that they would do a film together but the film never materialized as they could not find the right script. Things changed eventually with the new generation of actors. They are experimenting so much and are quite open for mulit-starrers. As per the update we hear, Sai Dharam Tej loved a script recently and the film has scope for one more actor.

Sai Tej suggested the names of Naga Chaitanya or Akhil for the other lead role in the film though the director wanted to do the film with one more Mega hero in the lead role. The discussions are currently going on. Naga Chaitanya is occupied with enough number of projects and if all goes well, Akhil may sign the project. More details about the film will be announced at a later date if things materialize as per the plan.

It was King Nagarjuna who loved the script and approved Akhil Akkineni’s upcoming movie Agent. The transformation of Akhil for the film left many amazed. The shoot of the film commenced yesterday and Surendar Reddy is canning some crucial episodes on Akhil. Malayalam actor Mammootty will be seen in an important role and he will be seen as Akhil’s father and mentor in this stylish action entertainer. After listening to the script, Nag was very impressed with this role and wanted to play Mammootty’s assignment in Agent.

But the film’s director Surendar Reddy convinced Nag and finalized Mammootty for the powerful role. Surendar Reddy explained that the expectations will reach skies if Nag plays the role in Agent. He also explained that the film will be seen as Nag’s film by the audience and not as Akhil’s project. Convinced with the logic, Nag decided to stay away from the project. Nag himself called Mammootty and asked him to essay the role. Bankrolled by AK Entertainments, Agent releases next year.

Parasuram is the director and Keerthy Suresh is the heroine. Sarkaru Vaari Paata releases for Sankranthi 2022.

Akhil Akkineni is back to work from today and he commenced the shoot of his next film Agent today. Akhil’s transformation with a ripped and muscular look turned out to be the talk of Tollywood. Surendar Reddy is the director of this spy thriller and the film is aimed for release during the end of this year. Srinu Vaitla is ready with the script and he is expected to narrate the script to Akhil very soon. If all goes well, the film rolls and releases next year. Srinu Vaitla will commence the shoot of D and D from the last week of July that features Manchu Vishnu in the lead role. Akhil and Srinu Vaitla project may take off once they are done with their current projects.

Surendar Reddy is in the hunt for the right producer who can budge the project. At the same time, he is also holding talks with Ram Talluri and is penning a script for Pawan Kalyan. If the project happens, Surendar Reddy will keep Akhil in waiting mode. Else, he will go ahead with Akhil’s film. After the super success of Syeraa, Surendar Reddy penned a couple of scripts and narrated to top actors like Prabhas and Ram Charan, but nothing worked out. He is in plans to start his next project soon after the coronavirus pandemic comes to an end.
