A brand new promo featuring host Nagarjuna along with comedian Vennela Kishore was unveiled by the makers of ‘Bigg Boss Telugu OTT’ on Tuesday.

As reported earlier, the producers of the reality show have made an official announcement on the OTT version, along with an interesting promo.

The promo features Vennela Kishore and noted actor Murali Sharma. Vennela Kishore plays a jail inmate, who is ready to get his death sentence implemented, while Murali Sharma is the police in charge of him.

As Vennela Kishore begs his advocate Nagarjuna to do something about it, he tells the court that Kishore’s last wish is to watch one episode of ‘Bigg Boss Telugu OTT’, which is a never-ending one.

Well, keeping aside the promo, the makers have announced that the show will start streaming on Disney+ Hotstar soon. Producers are setting the stage for the curtain-raiser of the first season of ‘Bigg Boss Telugu OTT’.

Some known names are being heard as the contestants for the first season of the OTT version of the controversial reality show, while there are contestants from previous seasons of the show as well.

Superhit movie ‘Bangarraju’, which had hit the screens in January, is all set to start streaming on the OTT platform soon.

Starring Nagarjuna-Naga Chaitanya, the father-son duo, ‘Bangarraju’ had entertained the audience quite well at the theatres.

Reports suggest that the Kalyan Krishna Kusarala directorial ‘Bangarraju’ will start streaming on Zee5 from February 18.

‘Bangarraju’, the sequel of Nagarjuna’s super hit movie ‘Soggade Chinni Nayana’, marked the second collaboration of Nagarjuna and Naga Chaitanya after the Telugu classic movie ‘Manam’.

The fantasy drama is still running successfully in some theaters, while the makers decided to start streaming the movie online.

Actress Ramya Krishnan appears as Nagarjuna’s wife in the movie, while Krithi Shetty plays Naga Chaitanya’s love interest.

Other actors Fariah Abdulla, Daksha appeared in song sequences in ‘Bangarraju’. Rao Ramesh, Vennela Kishore, Brahmaji, and Jhansi appear in the supporting roles.

The movie Bangarraju was bankrolled by Annapurna Studios and Zee Studios.

Nagarjuna-starrer ‘Ghost’ Dubai schedule postponed

Nagarjuna Akkineni, who was supposed to start shooting for his upcoming movie ‘Ghost’ in Dubai, has been paused.

A few unit members who were supposed to leave for Dubai tested positive for the novel Coronavirus, which resulted in the postponement of the shooting schedule.

The members of the ‘Ghost’ team who tested positive, are currently under quarantine. Under these circumstances, the makers had to pause the shooting for a while.

“The revised schedule will be chalked out at a later stage”, a source said.

Nagarjuna and ‘Garuda Vega’ director Praveen Sattaru have come together for this interesting movie titled ‘Ghost’.

Actress Sonal Chauhan, Gul Panag, and Anikha Surendran are also a part of the film.

‘Ghost’ is produced by Narayan Das K Narang, Puskur Ram Mohan Rao, and Sharrath Marar. The crew includes cinematographer Mukesh G, art director Brahma Kadali and stunt directors Robin Subbu and Nabha Master.

Nagarjuna and his son Naga Chaitanya are quite happy with the performance of their recent outing Bangarraju. The film ended up as a decent hit as it released during the Sankranthi holiday season. Nag is on a break and the actor is all set to resume the shoot of his next film The Ghost. The film is a stylish action entertainer directed by Praveen Sattaru. Sonal Chauhan replaced Kajal as the leading lady in this action entertainer. The new schedule of the film will resume in Dubai from February 3rd.

A high voltage action stunt will be canned on Nagarjuna and Sonal Chauhan. Famous action choreographer Nung and his team will supervise the stunts. The schedule will continue for 15 days in Dubai. Sree Venkateswara Cinemas LLP along with Sharath Marar are the producers of The Ghost that will head for a theatrical release this year. Today media asked Nagarjuna to respond on the meeting between Jagan and Chiranjeevi. Nagarjuna responded on this and said, Chiranjeevi is meeting the chief Minister on behalf of the entire industry to help all the industry people. He added that, he also should have been part of that meeting but he could not do so because he is currently busy with his upcoming release Bangaraju. Nagarjuna said, he will definitely be part of the next meeting with Jagan.

However as per reports , Andhra Pradesh government is in no mood to resolve all the issues of film industry at this moment and may put the issue on hold for some more time by calling for another meeting in a month time. We need to wait and see when will the issues of film industry be resolved.

Actress Daksha Nagarkar, who has jived for a special number in Nagarjuna and Naga Chaitanya-starrer ‘Bangarraju’, recalls the fun time she had with the Telugu stars, with whom she says she has established a special bond.

“Naga Chaitanya is my first dance partner and he is such a cool guy,” the actress revealed in a conversation with IANS. “As I rehearsed for the song, he would wait patiently until I got those moves right.” She added that they cracked jokes and bonded.

Regarding “Nagarjuna sir”, Daksha said: “I had some fun conversations with him. We even discussed his love for tattoos and his fascination for snakes.”

Talking about her number in ‘Bangarraju’, Daksha said: “It is a grand, blingy, festival song. With colourful sets and attires, it brings in the festive vibes.” The actress has previously been seen in ‘Hora Hori’ and ‘Zombie Reddy’.

She added: “I was at first reluctant to act in the song. But then, director Kalyan Krishna explained the sequence of this song and I was convinced.” And yes, she’s confident that the song will strike a chord with the audience and the movie will get the cash registers at the box-office working overtime.

‘Bangarraju’ is scheduled to hit the screens on January 14. Naga Chaitanya, Nagarjuna, Krithi Shetty and Ramya Krishna are the movie’s lead actors.

The musical night event of Nagarjuna and Naga Chaitanya-starrer ‘Bangarraju’ was held in Hyderabad as the father-son duo sounded confident about the movie’s success.

Nagarjuna, during his speech, revealed that the theatrical trailer of ‘Bangarraju’ will be launched on January 11, a couple of days before the movie hits the screens.

The ‘Manmadhudu’ actor also remembers January 14, the release date of ‘Bangarraju’, as an important day for Annapurna Studios, because it was founded on the same date.

As the movie is prepping up with the other release formalities, Nagarjuna said, “Bangarraju is a proper Sankranthi festival film. It can be enjoyed with your friends and family this Sankranthi season.”

Naga Chaitanya thanked his team who had made it to the movie’s release even during the pandemic. As Chaitanya lauded director Kalyan Krishna, music director Anup Rubens, and the other team members, he became quite emotional.

“Telugu’s classical movie ‘Manam’ is one of the best movies for our family. Anup, who composed a blockbuster album for ‘Manam’ has hit the bull’s eye for ‘Bangarraju’, as I see all the songs from the movie have become viral”, Chaitanya said.

Chaitanya also conveyed that the movie will bring in the festivity. “Bangarraju has imbibed all the aspects of entertainment. We will bring the Sankranthi festival to the theatres.”

The music event ended on a high note, creating much buzz on the upcoming release of ‘Bangarraju’. Krithi Shetty, Faria Abdullah, other actresses, and the entire team were present at the musical event.

Naga Chaitanya and Nagarjuna are to appear on the screen together in this movie, which is billed as a socio-fantasy drama, touted to be a sequel to ‘Soggade Chinni Nayana’.

There would be no Akhil in Bangarraju and the news is just a rumor.

Wanted to release Bangarraju even if RRR and Radhe Shyam released. Soggade Chinni Nayana released with five films during Sankranthi in the past.

Naga Chaitanya has never done a native film in his career. Bangarraju will help him for his career.

I am out of the numbers game long ago. Numbers will vanish every year.

Titled as ‘The party song of the year’, the makers of ‘Bangarraju’ released a glimpse of the upcoming lyrical song, which stars Faria Abdulla of ‘Jathi Rathnalu’ fame.

In the musical poster, Faria is seen jiving with Nagarjuna on one side and Naga Chaitanya on the other.

The makers will release the lyrical song on December 17.

King Nagarjuna has been in talks for Bangarraju from the past two years. The project got delayed after Nag suggested several changes for the script. Kalyan Krishna is done with the script and the film got its official launch recently. The film’s shoot commenced today in Hyderabad in a special set that is constructed in Annapurna Studios. Three massive sets of Heaven, Hell and a house are constructed in the studio and most of the film’s shoot will take place in these sets.
