Sree Vishnu joins hands with Geetha Arts

Marking the birthday of young actor Sree Vishnu, several updates of his upcoming films have been out. The actor is back to success streak with Samajavaragamana and he has a bunch of films lined up. He signed his 18th film and it would be produced by the prestigious Geetha Arts. Caarthick Raju is on board to direct this untitled romantic entertainer and more details will be revealed at the right time. The shooting formalities will start later this year after Sree Vishnu is done with his current projects.

An interesting motion poster of the film is out and the lead actors, technicians are currently finalized. Sree Vishnu is done with the shoot of Om Bheem Bush and the film is slated for March 22nd release. He also wrapped up the shoot of Hashith Goli’s Swag and the film will hit the screens soon.

Exclusive: Balakrishna and Geetha Arts film locked

Nandamuri Balakrishna is committed of doing a film for Geetha Arts after he did ‘Unstoppable’ show for Aha. Allu Aravind too was quite interested to work with the veteran actor. Telugu360 has exclusively learned that the film is locked and mass helmer Boyapati Srinu will direct the film. Recently, Geetha Arts made an announcement that the production house will collaborate with Boyapati Srinu. Tollywood speculated that Allu Arjun is the lead actor in the film but it is Balakrishna who will play the lead role in this film.

The film is also the sequel for Akhanda and Boyapati started working on the script. An official announcement will be made soon and the shoot commences during the second half of this year. Akhanda 2 is aimed for summer 2025 release. The technicians and the lead actors will be finalized by Boyapati after the final script is locked.

Top production Geetha Arts paid a hefty advance for Chandoo even before the release of Karthikeya 2. Chandoo Mondeti directed films like Karthikeya, Premam and Savyasachi in the past. He took a long break and worked on Karthikeya 2 that released recently. The film is declared as a blockbuster in all the languages and it performed beyond the expectations in North India. Chandoo Mondeti is now rushed with offers and he is currently busy with his next film.

Geetha Arts is now planning a pan-Indian film with this talented director. The production house is in plans to approach a top actor for this mega-budget film. Chandoo Mondeti narrated the basic plot and Allu Aravind approved the plot. Chandoo is working on the script for now. The makers are trying to rope in a Bollywood top actor like Hrithik Roshan for the project. Things will be finalized once the final draft is locked. Geetha Arts happens to be one of the most successful production houses in the country. They floated GA2 Pictures to produce small films and content-driven flicks. GA2 announced a new film Vinaro Bhagyamu Vishnu Katha. The film features Kiran Abbavaram in the lead role and the title concept poster of Vinaro Bhagyamu Vishnu Katha is released today. Murali Kishor Abburu is making his directorial debut and Kashmira is the leading lady.

The shoot commences soon and RX 100 fame Chaitan Bharadwaj is the music director. More details about the project will be announced soon. Kiran Abbavaram signed close to nine films after the super success of SR Kalyanamandapam.

NBK to act in Geetha arts banner?

Nandamuri Balakrishna’s recent talk show Unstoppable in aha OTT garnered huge positive response. At this moment, there are rumours going on in media circles about NBK acting in Geetha arts banner in 2022. Details as follows.

The first episode of the NBK’s Unstoppable show was out on Diwali day. The audiences were thrilled to see NBK in his new Avatar. Even though Manchu family’s over-action was unbearable at many points, NBK made the show watchable with his impeccable hosting skill and spontaneity. It was the first time Balayya joined hands with Allu Aravind and the show was already a super hit. With this, rumours started about Balayya doing a film with Allu Aravind soon.

In 1980s and90s, Geetha arts banner produced 90% of the films with mega star Chiranjeevi. It also produced films mostly with mega family heroes though occasionally produced films like 100% love and Ghazni with other heroes. However, the banner had never produced films with Nandamuri family heroes. But now , it seems, NBK immensely liked the working style of Allu Aravind and is ready to do a film in his banner. Reportedly, Allu Aravind is in hunt for a good story now. If everything goes well, movie may go to the sets by next summer.

We need to wait and see whether movie will be realised in this combo or not.

Geetha Arts pays a bomb for Rao Ramesh

Top production house Geetha Arts acquired the remake rights of a small Malayalam movie Nayattu. Allu Aravind loved the film and the pre-production work is happening at a fast pace. Palasa and Sridevi Soda Center fame Karuna Kumar will direct the remake. Sree Vishnu, Rao Ramesh and Anjali are on the board for the lead roles in this interesting attempt. Allu Aravind proposed the name of Rao Ramesh after he watched the original. He wanted his team to acquire the remake rights of the film only after Rao Ramesh gives his nod for the remake.

Rao Ramesh loved the assignment and signed the project. He even allocated bulk dates for the role and he is charging Rs 1.5 crores for the film. This is huge for a character actor but Geetha Arts decided to pay him the quoted remuneration for his bulk dates. The scriptwork is happening and the shoot commences during the end of this year. GA2 Pictures will bankroll this remake and the film releases next year.

‘Kshana Kshanam’ Trailer Launched; Geetha Arts to release the film

Kshana Kshanam starring Uday Shankar and Jia Sharma in the lead roles, had its trailer unveiled this morning. Leading producer Bunny Vas was the chief guest at the trailer launch held at Prasad Labs.
Speaking on this occasion, Bunny Vas said, “While doing commercials films, we keep some numbers in mind but for concept oriented films, one needs to have courage. I did feel the same while bankrolling ‘Chaavu Kaburu Challaga.’ I appreciate producers Dr. Warlu and Dr. Mannam Chandramouli. I have watched the film and liked it. So I have decided to take up the distribution of this film through Geetha Arts. Hero Uday Shankar looks promising and he is always experimenting with genres. That says about his passion and if he continues to do the same, he will reach heights. Having support in the industry is just for a push but ultimately hardwork has to pay off. I hope Uday Shankar will get the audiences support.”
Director of ‘Kshana Kshanam’ Karthik Medikonda added that he would never forget the suggestions and support of Bunny Vas. “I would also like to thank Tamannaah for unveiling our trailer. Small films need proper content to get the attention of audiences. Our film ‘Kshana Kshanam’ has good concept and the characters in the film will get definitely touch the audiences. Yet we have hidden few things in the trailer and those should be watched on the big screen.
Hero Uday Shankar said it feels immense pride that our film is getting released through Geetha Arts. “Me and my team will not forget the backing of Bunny Vas. His advices are very valuable to our film and our team is confident of delivering a hit. I would like to thank music director Koti garu for doing a role in this movie,” said Uday Shankar.

Hundreds of aspirants who wish to make it big in films come to Hyderabad and test their luck. Cashing their weakness, several scamsters are minting money using the fame of actors and production houses. Vijay Devarakonda’s name was used and the incident saw light after a bunch of youngsters got cheated. RX 100 fame Ajay Bhupathi came to know that his name was misused and approached Cybercrime. He filed a complaint and the culprit was nabbed.

Top production house Geetha Arts was left in shock after a youngster was minting money on the name of the production house. Several girls were approached offering the female lead’s role in Allu Arjun’s next film. A complaint was filed in Cybercrime Police Station, Hyderabad. The cops are currently investigating the matter and are in hunt for the culprit as per the information. Such cheating cases are increasing in Tollywood on a regular basis. Filmmakers have been urging the youth not to fall prey for such scams. They are requesting to follow the official pages of the production houses if there are any such offers in films.

For rejecting their camp’s projects back to back, currently, Geetha Arts is highly upset with talented actress, ‘Fidaa’ starlet Sai Pallavi, as per reports. She’s actually said to be the first one to be approached for Geetha Govindam earlier, then for Allu Arjun and Trivikram’s Ala Vaikuntapuramlo and now for Akhil’s film with Bommarillu Bhaskar too.

All the time, after hearing to the story for a couple of hours, Sai Pallavi is rejecting to come aboard citing that there is no depth in characterisation or freshness in the script. They are said to be surprised as to what Sai Pallavi is looking for in the films offered to her.

Rejecting so many offers, finally, Sai Pallavi took up Sekhar Kammula’s dance-based love story that has Naga Chaitanya in the lead. Not all the filmmakers will make such female-centric and feministic dramas like Kammula, so Sai Pallavi must be little careful before rejecting everyone.

Allu Aravind’s business acumen: Advance payments to them

Telugu film industry always sings loud about the way senior producer Allu Aravind’s runs his business. Especially he’s known for the kind of business acumen he has when it comes to setting up few projects.

Recently Aravind has come up with projects like Geetha Govindam and Taxiwala, and those two films have done well for him. But he has regrets of missing some interesting films like Brochevarervaru Ra and Agent Sai Srinivasa Athreya that minted crores for the producers and distributors. Though he has heard about those films, he hasn’t bought them as he felt that they won’t work.

After looking at the way they worked out, Aravind is asking his team to find the directors of those films and shower them with advance paychecks. The owner of Geetha Arts has now given instructions to his team to not miss out such brilliant young directors and asked them to lock them for a project in the future.

Not just Aravind, but many deep-rooted producers (and distributors) are of the opinion that they should work with the young directors of these films in order to maximise, both their image and box office capability. Are those directors willing to work with these established players is the question that needs to be answered now.

Akhil pins hopes on successful production house

Akkineni lad Akhil failed to score a commercial hit in his first three films. Though he bagged brownie points for his performance and looks, Akhil couldn’t bag the elusive box office hit despite working with hit directors. After listening to several scripts, he has finally green signalled to director Bommarillu Bhaskar who is off the limelight for quite some time now.

Geetha Arts 2 banner, known for delivering back to back hits with young heroes, is going to pool resources for this film. Akhil is very desperate to deliver a big hit and he is looking to ride on the success wave of Geetha Arts. The formal launch of this untitled film happened today in Hyderabad and Akkineni Nagarjuna graced the event. Allu Aravind and other core team members were present at the launch.

Bommarillu Bhaskar worked on the script for nearly one year and finally got the nod from Akhil. The film is said to be a blend of love story and action elements that will suit Akhil’s mannerisms. As Geetha Arts 2 has the reputation of delivering quality films which appeal well to all sections of the audience, Akhil is hoping to score the much-needed break with this film. He will be sporting a beard look with a different hairstyle. The regular shooting will commence from June and the film is expected to hit the screens in December.

Gopi Sundar will score the soundtrack and Manikandan will crank the camera.

Allu Aravind’s Geetha Arts seems to be on a mission to give life to flop directors. It has already been reported that Bommarillu Bhaskar is going to direct Akkineni Akhil under Geetha Arts banner. Now, director Prem Sai of Nithin’s flop film ‘Courier Boy Kalyan’ is set for comeback with an interesting film in this top production house.

Reportedly, Geetha Arts has roped in Prem Sai to direct Allu Sirish’s next film. They have given nod to the script narrated by Prem Sai and the pre production work is currently underway. Allu Sirish is desperately trying to make a mark for himself despite back to back flops. Prem Sai has been working on a script since the past two years. Impressed with the script, Allu Aravind has agreed to pool resources for the film.

After Parasuram and Bommarillu Bhaskar, another flop director is getting the support of Geetha Arts banner. It remains to be seen if Prem Sai makes it count with Sirish’s film.

He even offered a project for Mahesh Babu to be produced by Geetha Arts. Soon the team of Geetha Arts condemned that Allu Aravind had no such proposals and did not meet Namrata to discuss Sukumar’s project.

They revealed that Allu Aravind met Namrata to discuss a script for Mahesh Babu that will be produced on Geetha Arts. After a series of surprising episodes, Mahesh announced that his project with Sukumar is cancelled. Mahesh Babu has been in talks with Arjun Reddy fame Sandeep Vanga for a film and this project will be bankrolled by Geetha Arts. Sandeep is currently busy directing Arjun Reddy in Hindi and Geetha team is currently busy preparing a script for Mahesh and Sandeep. The young director already agreed to direct an outside script and Geetha team is busy finalizing the plot along with the script that suits Mahesh.

Mahesh is currently busy with Maharshi and will then work for Sukumar’s film. Mahesh – Sandeep – Geetha Arts film is expected to roll in 2020.
