Bollywood Superstar Aamir Khan who has delivered several super hits in his career spanning close to four decades tasted a massive debacle like Laal Singh Chaddha. The film turned out to be a huge embarrassment for the top actor who has the highest success rate in Indian cinema. Aamir Khan is on a break and he has been holding talks for a couple of films before Laal Singh Chaddha released. The actor broke the silence for the first time post the film’s release and he informed that he would take a break from acting for now.

Aamir said that he is all set to take a break from work and he will spend time with his family members. I want to experience life in a different way and I will take a break. As an actor, I will not work for a year and a half” concluded Aamir Khan. He has been in talks for a remake but the project is now kept on hold. There are talks that Aamir Khan would fly to USA and spend time with his family members. His next film is expected to be announced during the second half of 2023.

The film opened on a dull note on Thursday and the Friday numbers are totally disappointing. The film dropped by 35 percent more on Friday, which happens to be a holiday. There are several reasons for the film’s poor performance and 1300 shows have been reduced for the film across the country. More troubles are coming as the film landed into legal trouble now. Vineet Jindal, a Delhi-based advocate, submitted a complaint seeking to file an FIR against Aamir Khan for disrespecting the Indian Army.

Vineet said that Laal Singh Chaddha also is hurting the sentiments of Hindus and the film had objectionable content. He sought FIRs under sections 153, 153A, 298 and 505. Aamir Khan played an Army man in the film. Laal Singh Chaddha is directed by Advait Chandan and Aamir Khan, Kareena Kapoor, Naga Chaitanya played the lead roles. The film is the official remake of Hollywood film Forrest Gump.

Aamir reveals why he’s not in a hurry to release ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ on OTT

Even as anticipation surrounds the theatrical release of Aamir Khan’s film ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’, the star has made it clear that he is in no particular hurry to stream the movie on OTT.

While most films release on OTT soon after they hit the cinema, Aamir Khan is not in favour of an early OTT release.

He says: “One of the reasons primarily I think the curiosity of going to theaters has reduced because films come on OTT right after they come in theaters, they come on OTT very fast.”

“So I have always tried to keep a 6-month gap for my films. I don’t know what the industry follows, but I like to keep a 6-month gap. So that’s what I tried to do for all my films and up till now, we have managed that.”

The star has been creating a buzz with a series of events centered around the film’s trailers and teasers.

Meanwhile, the trailer of ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ is receiving love from all quarters. The audience is looking forward to seeing Aamir Khan depict the life journey of Laal Singh Chadhha.

‘Laal Singh Chaddha’, produced by Aamir Khan Productions, Kiran Rao, and Viacom18 Studios, also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan, Mona Singh, and Chaitanya Akkineni. It is an official remake of ‘Forrest Gump’.

Chaitanya is one of Tollywood’s most well liked and successful actor. As he belongs to the iconic Akkineni family, his fandom is a solid and pre-established one. The actor is now ready to make his Bollywood debut in ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ alongside Aamir Khan after eleven years in the industry.

On being quizzed about his Bollywood offers, Naga Chaitanya asserted that he had previously been consulted for several Hindi projects, which he had declined.

The ‘Majili’ actor revealed that he has purposefully avoided Hindi movies for a long time, as he considered his Hindi to be mediocre. The actor continued, “I was raised in Chennai before moving to Hyderabad. As a result, my Hindi needs improvement. I have been sort of insecure about that for a very long time. Akkineni youngster Naga Chaitanya bagged a crazy offer and he will be seen in a crucial role in Bollywood Superstar Aamir Khan’s upcoming movie Laal Singh Chaddha. Chaitu essays the role of an Army Major Bala in the film and he joined the sets of the film recently. Chaitu himself took his official Twitter page to share the picture from the sets. Chaitu looks fit enough with shaped and short hair, moustache. Naga Chaitanya is expected to complete the shooting portions for Laal Singh Chaddha before the end of this month.

The shoot is happening in and around Ladakh for now. Advait Chandan is the director and Aamir Khan, Kareena Kapoor are the lead actors. The film produced by Aamir Khan will release soon.
