As his ‘RRR’ continues to amass global recognition and is set for the Oscars race, Telugu star Ram Charan left everyone impressed on the sets of his tentatively titled film ‘RC15’ with his dancing skills. What’s surprising is that the actor managed to impress the director of the film, Shankar Shanmugham.

Shankar, who has helmed films such as ‘Indian’, ‘Robot’, ‘Nayak’ and several others, is not known to be easily pleased, a fact that music composer A.R. Rahman can vouch for, given how the director kept on asking more and better from him for ‘2.0’.

‘RC 15’ shoot was happening in Kurnool recently where people thronged to get a glimpse of the actor. Ram Charan pulled off an 80-second long dance step in a single take leaving everyone awestruck.

Ram Charan, who is known for his brilliant dance moves, his ‘Naatu Naatu’ song, in which he can be seen shaking a leg with his co-star Jr NTR, has become a global phenomenon bagging the Golden Globe for Best Original Song and also Critics’ Choice Award for Best Song.

Produced by Dil Raju and Sirish under Sri Venkateswara Creations, the film, which also stars Kiara Advani, was announced in February 2021 and began its production in October 2021.

The film reportedly stars Ram Charan in a dual role. The filming took place in Hyderabad, Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra and Punjab.

As you all know Ram Charan is presently working on director S Shankar’s upcoming drama RC15. Now the latest update is that the team has successfully concluded another schedule for the much-awaited project in New Zealand.

He also shared a few ultra-stylish photo of himself designed by Manish Malhotra and the team from the set. Makers completed shoot for a unique song and a few key scenes on Ram Charan and Kiara Advani. According to reports, the makers spent around 15 crores on this song. The duet between Ram Charan and Kiara Advani is clearly going to be a visual extravaganza.

Produced by Dil Raju and Shirish under the banner of Sri Venkateswara Creations, the film will release in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi. Popular music composer Thaman is composing the songs for the film. The cast includes Anjali and SJ Suryah in a pivotal role, while Sunil, Srikanth, Jayaram, and Naveen Chandra are also part of the film.

The makers will lose close to Rs 2 crores through this. The new tickets for the cast and crew members are booked at higher fares and they will be flying before this weekend. The song was planned on a budget of Rs 15 crores and the disastrous planning even hiked the film’s budget. Ram Charan and Shankar film is an action thriller and is aimed for release next year. Jayaram, Srikanth and Anjali will be seen in other prominent roles. Charan plays a dual role and Dil Raju is the producer.

Mega power star Ram Charan has left for Rajahmundry for the next leg of shooting of director Shankar’s upcoming film, ‘RC 15’.

The actor was papped at the airport while on his way to Rajahmundry.

Sources close to the unit of the film say that the next schedule of the upcoming film has resumed in full swing.

Ram Charan, who has had a busy year — both as an actor and a producer — seemed enthusiastic to be back in action.

Kiara Advani plays the female lead opposite Ram Charan in the film, which is yet to be titled.

One of Tamil cinema’s most versatile actors, S J Suryah, too plays an important role in the film.
Apart from them, actors Jayaram, Anjali, Sunil, Srikanth, and Naveen Chandra too will be a part of this big budget film, which is being made in multiple languages. S.S. Thaman is scoring the music for this film, which has Tirru cranking the camera.

Director Shankar is now shooting ‘RC15’ simultaneously with his long pending, ‘Indian 2’, featuring Kamal Haasan in the lead.
