Santosh Sobhan’s Anni Manchi Sakunamule directed by Nandini Reddy is releasing on May 18th. The trailer released the other day promises a breezy entertainer which will be a treat for the complete family this summer. Hero Santosh interacted with media about the film.

Santosh is very excited about the film. “It was Priyanka Dutt who gave me my first advance cheque in 2018. After a gap of 5 years after the film Paperboy, I thought the right story came at the right time. That’s how this movie started. It is a film like Fam-Com (family comedy). Nandini Reddy will make you laugh and cry in the original way. The original strength of this movie is drama, emotions and scenes that will be very new,” he said.

He also says his good times will begin with this movie. “I think I did not get a chance to be a part of such a story or a combination of so many actors in my career. This is the biggest story of my career and a must watch movie on the silver screen. I felt that feeling while making the film. When I heard the title of this movie, I thought it was a very honest movie. Recently I watched this movie without the background score. It felt so easy and comfortable after coming out. That’s a good omen (Sakunam) for me,” he said.

Santosh Sobhan and Malvika Nair paired up for the upcoming flick Anni Manchi Sakunamule directed by Nandini Reddy under the banner of Swapna Cinema. The makers unveiled the theatrical trailer. Young Tiger NTR launched it.

The trailer introduces all the prominent characters and the conflicting point. A guy who is very optimistic in life though he is a big failure falls in love with a girl. There are no good terms between the two families. How they get approval from their family members for the wedding forms the crux of the story.

The trailer brings smiles at smiles and makes us emotional at other times, thanks to Nandini Reddy for her meaningful writing and impressive story-telling. Santosh Sobhan and Malvika Nair played their characters in a way that we remember them with their character names, after the release.

Sunny Kurapati’s blocks and Mickey J Meyer’s background score are other big assets. This is going to be the ideal choice for the family audience in the summer. The film is set to hit the screens on May 18th.

AMS Teaser: Pleasant & Refreshing Romantic Tale

Nandini Reddy, after a long break, and Swapna Cinema, after the fresh success of Sita Ramam, have joined hands for an out-and-out family entertainer Anni Manche Sakunamule starring Santosh Sobhan and Malvika Nair in the lead roles. Dulquer Salmaan unveiled the teaser of the movie co-produced by Mitra Vinda Movies.

While the title alone generated positive vibes, the teaser is very pleasant and refreshing. There is nothing more precious than having a beautiful family and the same is conveyed through this lovely teaser where Santosh Sobhan and Malvika Nair appeared as love birds. Without revealing much about the core point, the makers impress us big time with the teaser.

Santosh Sobhan and Malvika shared sparkling chemistry, wherein Rajendra Prasad’s screen presence is another attraction. It’s good to see Gauthami on screen, after a long. Nandini must be appreciated not just for her writing and making, but also for the casting choices.

Sunny Kurapati captured every frame beautifully, while Mickey J Meyer’s background score is very pleasant. The teaser increases our curiosity to watch the movie which will be arriving in theatres in Summer on May 18th.

Sankranthi Film Reaches Break Even Before Release

Kalyanam Kamaneeyam, a youthful rom-com featuring young actors Santosh Sobhan and Priya Bhavani Shankar in the lead roles has reached the break-even mark even before the release.

The film had a good trailer and songs that cater to all sections of audience and is set for release on the 14th of January. Here’s a look at how it reached breakeven mark even before the release.

The film was made on a calculated budget but with very good making values. So, it was easy for the makers, UV to recover the budget through non-theatrical rights alone.

The OTT and satellite rights alone have fetched Rs 7 crore which has recovered the entire budget. Meaning, whatever the film makes in theaters is a bonus to the producers.

UV Concepts have also cleverly locked the release plan as Sankranthi release will definitely help the film post good revenues. So, in every way, this film is a profitable venture for the producers.

‘Kalyanam Kamaneeyam’: Wedding Anthem is so enjoyable!

Wedding songs have always been a regular feature in our family films. ‘Kalyanam Kamaneeyam’ takes the song genre to the next level by coming out with an anthem. Released today by Prabhas via social media, the song has a guest appearance by Sharwanand, who cautions against marriage. In contrast, Santosh Shoban breaks into the pro-marriage song with abandon.

The song is more than its beautiful art, traditional clothing and festive mood. It builds an aura around the concept of companionship and why marriage is the loveliest thing despite its flaws.

Sri Charan Pakala’s composition and singing are done full justice by Krishna Kanth’s meaningful lyrics. Suresh Sarangam’s cinematography for this promo song is good.

Starring Priya Bhavani Shankar as the heroine, this January 14th release is going to feature Kedar Shankar and Saptagiri in important supporting roles. Debutant Anil Kumar Aalla directed the movie. It is produced by UV Creations’ UV Concepts.

Story : Viplav alias vihari played by santosh sbhohan is a travel vlogger, his idol and popular vlogger Vasudha ( Faria Abdullah) is also into same hobby. Vihari and vasudha separately take Araku Valley trip and tangle into a common problem. In the forest area of Araku, A team of rebellions named PPF kidnaps the lead pair and rest of the story is how the kidnap drama unfolds

Analysis:

The premise of the film Is unique and well connects to the present-day digitalized audience. However, the unique flavor lasts very short time after the film begins. The Naxalites flashback puzzles the audience with its serious tone. But the seriousness turns mockery as soon as Brahmanna (Brahmaji) and team become Jabardasth comedy skit gang from being rebellions. The DGP, PPF (people’s protection force) etc. characters are story wise well connected to the lead pair but the proceedings are unimpressive. The sarcastic comedy in films work only in rare cases, this genre needs much more skill from any director. The director of Like Share Subscribe Mr. Merlapaka Gandhi fails in writing good scenes around the unique premise. The output of ‘Like share subscribe’ is as pale as a Telugu TV comedy skit. The kidnap drama tests patience, casting Is poor as well. This film cannot even watchable on OTT platform for free.

Production values by Nirharika Entertainment are rich. Good amount has been spent on few songs; overall production is rich. Music directors Praveen , Ram Miriyala have tried to help this film but not enough output in terms of catchy tunes.

Performances: Santosh Shobhan fits the youtuber role well, he acted with ease. Faria who is not a lively person doesn’t fit into the travel vlogger character. As always actor Brahmaji did well but there isn’t enough support from the scenes.

    ‘Like Share Subscribe’ is one of the senseless movies in recent times.The sarcastic comedy fails big time, no other element is appealing either. Santosh Shobhan & Faria Abdullah performance is adequate butthat is not enough to save this weak plot

    Story:

    Paperboy is about a poor boy Ravi’s fascination towards a rich girl Dharani. Ravi, a B. Tech gradaute, works as a paperboy to help his working-class parents. Eventually his fascination towards Dharani turns as love. Dharani too likes Ravi’s self-respect, poetic heart. Dharani’s father, Rich and kind hearted Gadwal Reddy, accepts her proposal to marry Ravi. While everything going on happy note, her brothers arrive from USA.Rest of the story is about how her brothers try to disrupt marriage arrangements, how the couple overcome the hurdles

    Analysis:

    About thirty minutes into the film,audience may jump into early conclusion that ‘I’m about to watch a film that offers something different than routine glossy love stories’. Ravi’s characterization is good, santosh shobhan’s performance as Ravi is quite natural. Director JayaShankar presents a simple familiar love story in an appealing manner to the class audience in first half. Senior director karunakaran ’s mark shot making won’t go unnoticed in Jayashankar’s work. Overall first half is predictable but satisfactory.

    Trouble starts when the film enters post interval phase. As there aren’t many turns or sub plots, movie gets dragged on single point. After Dharani’s brothers come from USA, things even more slide down. Bitthiri Satthi, Vidhyullekha Raman’s comedy thread is over the top and wrong timely placed.

    Within the unsatisfactory 2nd half, climax is another drawback. It is too cinematic, melodrama added. Some of the songs like ‘I think i am in love with you ‘are cool. Director JayaShankar has showcased few strengths,but falls short in overall packaging.

    Performances:

    Santosh Sobhan is quite natural as paperboy Ravi, Priyashri as Gadwal Reddy’s daughter Dharani is okay. Another heroine Tanya Hope role is limited, okay.

    Positives:

    • First half, pleasant visuals
    • Dialogues

    Negatives:

    • Predictable, flat story
    • Poor comedy in second half
    • Too melodramatic climax

    Verdict:

    Paperboy is a Rich Girl, Poor boy themed predictable love story with some refreshing treatment here and there. Until First half there are few impressive elements, but second half is quite boring. Too cinematic writing takes the graph to nosedive after interval. Overall, paperboy disappoints!
