Farhan Akhtar is roped in for the remake of Spanish film Champions. RS Prassana will direct the film and the shoot starts in October.

Malayalam film Jaya Jaya Jaya Jaya Hey too will be remade in Hindi. Seema Pahwa will direct the film and Fatima Sana Shaikh will play the lead role.

The shoot of Pritam Pyaare is wrapped up and the film is directed by Sunil Pandey. Sanjay Mishra is the lead actor and Aamir Khan is rumored to play a cameo.

Aamir Khan’s ex-wife Kiran Rao directed Lapata Laadies and the shoot is wrapped up.

Vineet Jindal, a Delhi-based advocate, submitted a complaint seeking to file an FIR against Aamir Khan for disrespecting the Indian Army.

Vineet said that Laal Singh Chaddha also is hurting the sentiments of Hindus and the film had objectionable content. He sought FIRs under sections 153, 153A, 298 and 505. Aamir Khan played an Army man in the film. Laal Singh Chaddha is directed by Advait Chandan and Aamir Khan, Kareena Kapoor, Naga Chaitanya played the lead roles. The film is the official remake of Hollywood film Forrest Gump.

Aamir, who graced the hot seat along with Colonel Mitali Madhumita and Major D.P. Singh on the 14th season of ‘KBC’, said that that he may not have watched the film, but knew the answer because, before the release of the film, Rajamouli was at his place and they talked about the film for the whole night.

Interestingly, Aamir Khan had promoted ‘RRR’ in Delhi along with S.S. Rajamouli and his team and on the other hand had also jetted off to Hyderabad to promote and showcase his upcoming film ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ to S.S. Rajamouli.

Aamir, Colonel Mitali Madhumita and Major D.P. Singh won Rs 50 lakh during the ‘KBC’ episode.

Aamir reveals why he’s not in a hurry to release ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ on OTT

Even as anticipation surrounds the theatrical release of Aamir Khan’s film ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’, the star has made it clear that he is in no particular hurry to stream the movie on OTT.

While most films release on OTT soon after they hit the cinema, Aamir Khan is not in favour of an early OTT release.

He says: “One of the reasons primarily I think the curiosity of going to theaters has reduced because films come on OTT right after they come in theaters, they come on OTT very fast.”

“So I have always tried to keep a 6-month gap for my films. I don’t know what the industry follows, but I like to keep a 6-month gap. So that’s what I tried to do for all my films and up till now, we have managed that.”

The star has been creating a buzz with a series of events centered around the film’s trailers and teasers.

Meanwhile, the trailer of ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ is receiving love from all quarters. The audience is looking forward to seeing Aamir Khan depict the life journey of Laal Singh Chadhha.

‘Laal Singh Chaddha’, produced by Aamir Khan Productions, Kiran Rao, and Viacom18 Studios, also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan, Mona Singh, and Chaitanya Akkineni. It is an official remake of ‘Forrest Gump’.
