BJP may not consider TDP for alliance in AP

0

The ruling BJP may not consider the opposition TDP in Andhra Pradesh for electoral alliance in the coming 2024 general election to the state Assembly. Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan is lobbying with the BJP top leadership for alliance.

With the promise of bringing BJP also to the alliance, Pawan Kalyan had already aligned with the TDP. The two parties have already formed coordination committees to work on the alliance. They have also held the first round of meetings at the state level and at the Assembly constituency level.

Though there were open fighting between the leaders of the two parties in several Assembly constituencies, the leaders are moving forward with the single motto of defeating the ruling YSR Congress in the coming elections. The agenda is only to defeat the YSR Congress and nothing more than that.

With the agenda to defeat the YSR Congress, the TDP and Jana Sena are going together for the polls, but the BJP seems to be having a different agenda. The BJP leaders are friendly with the ruling YSR Congress. They need the YSR Congress Rajya Sabha members to get the bills passed in the upper house where the BJP is short of majority.

Pawan Kalyan is seriously lobbying with the top BJP leaders for alliance with the TDP. Even the leaders in the BJP who originally belong to the TDP are also working hard to bring both the BJP and the TDP together ahead of the 2024 general election. Even the AP BJP president Daggubati Purandheswari, who used to oppose Chandrababu Naidu’s politics is now lobbying for alliance with the TDP.

But the BJP has its own agenda for Andhra Pradesh. It is not ready to break the good relationship that the party has with the ruling YSR Congress. Moreover, the party top leaders believe that the party would get strong only if the TDP is closed. They are working on those lines to see that the TDP is politically crippled.

Given all these calculations, the BJP may not extend its hand to the TDP in the coming elections. Moreover, the TDP had helped the Congress in Telangana against the wishes of the BJP. The TDP extended its support to the Congress and is responsible for the vote increase that the Congress may get in the election. This is not a happy news for the BJP leadership, and this might pull them away from the TDP in Andhra Pradesh.

Jana Sena wants 50 Assembly seats from TDP

0

The Jana Sena is asking for at least 50 Assembly seats in alliance with the TDP. While the TDP had promised just 25 seats, the Jana Sena wants more if the alliance has to be strong.

There is also pressure on Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan from the Kapu community to ask for more seats to be a strong partner in the alliance. The TDP is having trouble in giving more seats to the Jana Sena as the party is also looking at having an alliance with the CPI and the CPM. The TDP would have to give at least 5 seats to the two parties in alliance, if it works out.

TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu had started working on finding the candidates for his own party and also allocating the seats to the Jana Sena and the Left parties. He is busy with identification of the seats to be given to the Jana Sena. Chandrababu Naidu is understood to have got the latest survey report on the strength of the Jana Sena in the State.

The latest survey shows him where the Jana Sena is strong so as to give them those seats. The survey is said to be conducted by Robin Sharma of Show Time. The survey was done critically to have an understanding of the real strength of the Jana Sena at the grassroots.

Though Pawan Kalyan is asking for 50 seats, Chandrababu Naidu is not ready to give anything more than 25 to 30 seats. He believes that Jana Sena would not win more than five to ten seats in the elections and giving them more seats is to help the ruling YSR Congress to win more seats.

Meanwhile, Pawan Kalyan is leaving for Kakinada for his three day stay in the town. He is likely to have talks with the party leaders during these three days and hold talks with them mostly on the alliance with the TDP and the number of seats to be taken from the TDP in alliance.

Pawan Kalyan would also hold consultations with the elders of the Kapu community who have been asking him to be strong and bold in bargaining with the TDP. They want him to grab more seats in the alliance so as to be an equal partner with the TDP. This would give an edge to the Jana Sena at the time of formation of the coalition government after the elections if the alliance wins the polls.

Jana Sena almost finalised its list for AP Assembly elections

0

The Jana Sena is understood to have finalised the number of seats that the party wants to contest for the coming 2024 general elections to the State Assembly. Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan and TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu have met in Hyderabad the other day. They spent a little over two hours discussing about the seat sharing.

Sources say that Pawan Kalyan had asked for 26 Assembly seats in alliance, for which Chandrababu Naidu too accepted. However, Chandrababu Naidu had categorically told Pawan Kalyan that he would not give any reserved seats to the Jana Sena in alliance as Pawan Kalyan is not so popular among the reserved candidates.

According to sources, Pawan Kalyan had asked for Bheemili, Gajuwaka, Yalamanchili or Pendurthi, Paderu, Rajanagaram, Rajahmundry Rural, Kakinada Rural, Pithapuram, P Gannavaram, Razole, Narsapuram, Bhimavaram, Tadepalli Gudem, Ungutur or Eluru, Nidadavolu or Tanuku, Kovvuru, Avanigadda, Pedana, Kaikaluru, Tanli, Guntur West, Giddaluru, Darsi, Nellore, Tirupathi, Madanapalle and Rajampet.

Pawan Kalyan had reliably submitted the list of the constituencies that he is asking for in alliance. Sources say that Chandrababu Naidu had almost cleared the list with some minor corrections. This would mostly be the list of the Jana Sena for the coming elections.

However, sources say that Chandrababu Naidu had sought to advice Pawan Kalyan not to ask for adjacent Assembly seats in alliance. He suggested to the Jana Sena chief to have gap between the two Assembly seats, where he wants to contest.

The adjacent seats like Bheemili and Gazuwaka, Narsapura and Bhimavaram, Rajahmundry Rural and Kovvuru, Pedana and Kaikaluru, Giddaluru and Darsi. However, it is not known what Pawan Kalyan’s response to this advice was.

Naga Babu to Contest from Kakinada Lok Sabha Constituency ?

0

Recent political developments suggest that Naga Babu, the brother of Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan, might contest from the Kakinada MP constituency in the upcoming 2024 Lok Sabha elections. This potential move has sparked discussions and speculation, given the changing political equations and a possible alliance between Jana Sena and TDP.

Background:

Despite facing a significant setback in the 2019 elections, where Jana Sena didn’t achieve the desired electoral success, the party continued to engage with people’s issues and gradually strengthened its position. Naga Babu, a key member of the Political Affairs Committee, has been actively involved in steering the party’s course. As per political observers, Janasena graph has steadily increased in recent past.

Earlier Statements of Naga Babu about Not contesting and Changing equations:

Initially, Naga Babu indicated that he might refrain from contesting in the 2024 elections, opting instead to focus on party activities.

However, recent political shifts have prompted a reconsideration of this stance. However, political dynamics undergone a substantial transformation with rumors of an impending alliance between TDP and Jana Sena. This shift in alliances has the potential to reshape electoral equations and influence candidate choices.

Potential Candidacy in Kakinada:

As per emerging speculations, Naga Babu is being considered as a formidable candidate for the Kakinada MP constituency. This choice seems strategically advantageous, with caste equations favoring Jana Sena in this region. The prospect of an alliance between TDP and Jana Sena further strengthens Naga Babu’s chances. If the alliance between TDP and Jana Sena materializes, winning the Kakinada MP seat could be a relatively smooth journey for Naga Babu, given the huge anti incumbency on YSRCP in coastal Andhra region. The combined political strength of the two parties, along with favorable caste equations, sets the stage for a potentially successful electoral campaign.

As of now, Janasena and Mega family is facing humiliation from political rivals as they have lost political battles from the coastal Andhra region despite having huge following in this area. Chiranjeevi lost from Palakollu in 2009, Pawan Kalyan lost from Bheemavaram in 2019. Naga Babu also lost from Narsapuram . Naga Babu’s potential decision to contest from Kakinada holds the promise of not just personal victory but also contributes to the larger aspirations of Jana Sena in the region.

The upcoming 2024 elections in Kakinada will undoubtedly be closely watched, given the potential implications for the political future of Andhra Pradesh

TDP-Jana Sena manifesto committee meets

0

The opposition TDP and Jana Sena manifesto committee met at the TDP office in Mangalagiri on Monday. TDP senior leaders Yanamala Ramakrishnudu, MLC P Ashok Babu and spokesman Kommareddy Pattabhiram attended the meeting. Jana Sena leaders Mutha Sasidhar, Varaprasad and Sarath Kumar were present.

The leaders discussed the manifesto for the two parties. They have proposed to come up with a common manifesto as the two parties would be going to the elections together in alliance. Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan had announced his party’s alliance with the TDP.

The two parties have formed two committees – one to talk about sharing of seats between the two parties and the other about coming up with a common manifesto. The committee on sharing of seats had met earlier last month and discussed sharing the seats. Before going for sharing seats, the committee wanted to have a common manifesto and common action programme.

The two parties have decided to work together from the grassroots and have common programmes from November 1. However, they have not started the common programmes yet but would be hitting the roads soon with a common agenda.

Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan met TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu for two hours last week. They had initial discussions over alliance between the two parties. Later, Pawan Kalyan also met TDP general secretary Nara Lokesh in Vijayawada. The two leaders too have discussed a common programme for the two parties.

The two parties would be forming committees at every Assembly constituency to take forward the action plan. Formation of these committees would take some time as the leaders are busy with other activities.

TDP leaders are busy with Chandrababu Naidu’s interim bail, while Jana Sena chief is busy with his film schedules. These activities are likely to be over by this month end and the two parties would then get into action together.

The meetings are likely to be held at the constituency level for three days from November 14. Later, the two parties would start the TDP’s Bhavishyathuku Guarantee programme and visit door to door in every Assembly constituency.

Leaders of the two parties would also focus on verification of voters list and giving complaints to the election commission on bogus votes from November 19.

TDP-Jana Sena to campaign in AP from Nov 17

0

The opposition TDP and Jana Sena would start joint campaigns in Andhra Pradesh from November 17, said TDP AP unit president K Atchennaidu. Speaking to media after the joint meeting of the two parties on Thursday in Vijayawada, Atchennaidu said that the two parties would go together in the state promising guaranteed future for the people.

Leaders of the two parties were present at the joint meeting. Jana Sena political affairs committee chairman Nadendla Manohar led the party leaders, while TDP general secretary Nara Lokesh led the TDP leaders at the meeting.

The two parties have decided to form committees at the Assembly constituency level to take the campaign to the doorsteps of the people. These committees would form the common manifesto and take it to the people, Atchennaidu said.

He said that the two parties are also scripting a common pamphlet to be given to the people. The pamphlet would explain the need of the two parties coming together in the next elections. The need for the alliance and the need to defeat Jagan Mohan Reddy are to be explained in the pamphlet, Atchennaidu said.

The two parties would also form a manifesto committee at the state level. TDP senior leader Yanamala Ramakrishnudu would lead the TDP in the committee. Jana Sena would have Nadendla Manohar in the committee, Atchennaidu said.

The committees would meet on November 13 again and finalise the pamphlet and the manifesto. They would then give a direction to the rank and file of the two parties to go to the people. The leaders of the two parties would start meeting the people from November 17 under the title – Bhavishyattuku Guarantee, Atchennaidu said.

TDP-Jana Sena to appoint coordination panel

0

The opposition TDP and the Jana Sena are likely to appoint a coordination committee to work on the two parties’ alliance. The two parties have started working on the alliance after Pawan Kalyan had announced that the two parties would work together in the coming elections.

Pawan Kalyan had announced the alliance between the two parties in Rajamahendravaram after meeting TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu in the jail. He said that the BJP too would support the alliance and had even announced that he would meet the BJP top leaders in Delhi and convince them of alliance with the TDP.

The Jana Sena chief had appointed Political Affairs Committee chairman Nadendla Manohar as the coordination committee convener. He is likely to take a couple of leaders from Telangana and Andhra Pradesh into the committee.

Meanwhile, the TDP too is working on the constitution of the coordination committee from its side. Party general secretary Nara Lokesh is currently in Delhi holding consultations with the supreme court advocates on the arrest of Chandrababu Naidu by the state CID.

The party would look into the constitution of the coordination committee once he returns to the state. The two parties are seriously working on having their first meeting at the end of this month and have initial talks over alliance and sharing of seats.

Sources say that the Jana Sena and the TDP alliance would be extended to the two Telugu states. The TDP wants to have the alliance for both Andhra Pradesh and Telangana for the coming Assembly elections in the two states. It is to be seen how far this would work for them and how the BJP would take this alliance as the two parties are getting ready for alliance.

Pawan Kalyan’s Thought-Provoking Speech: Insights and Impact

1

In a powerful and thought-provoking address to his supporters in Mangalagiri, Pawan Kalyan, the leader of the Jana Sena Party, delivered a speech that resonated deeply with the audience. This speech, given shortly after announcing an alliance with the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) for the upcoming 2024 elections, has indeed become a discussion among the people in the entire Andhra Pradesh.

Redefining ‘Bharat’ and the Constitution:

Pawan Kalyan began his speech by revisiting his earlier comments during the audio function of “Saira Narasimha Reddy,” where he advocated for renaming the country as ‘Bharat’ instead of ‘India.’ Interestingly, his viewpoint aligned with recent discussions by Prime Minister Modi about considering a similar change.

Sanatana Dharma and Continuous Evolution:

Addressing the ongoing debate about Sanatana Dharma, Pawan showcased a mature perspective. He recognized that intellectuals in the country had divided into two groups—those supporting Sanatana Dharma and those opposing it, a controversy sparked by certain comments. Pawan illustrated how Sanatana Dharma, over centuries, has evolved, corrected its errors, and reinvented itself. His assertion that the principles of Sanatana Dharma are implicitly embedded in the Indian Constitution resonated with the audience.

Condemning the Dictatorial Governance of Jagan:

Pawan didn’t shy away from critiquing the leadership style of the incumbent government. He vividly recalled YSR’s statement in 2009, suggesting that one would need a visa to visit Hyderabad if Telangana were formed. He contrasted this with the current situation under Jagan’s governance, alleging that people would need passports to enter Andhra Pradesh. Pawan’s cinematic challenge to Jagan resonated deeply, evoking thunderous applause and cheers from the crowd.

Hilarious: Insight into Jagan’s Mental State:

Pawan Kalyan’s speech took an intriguing turn when he raised questions about Jagan’s mental state. He argued that Jagan’s actions, including violating constitutional provisions and disregarding international agreements, suggest underlying mental health concerns. Pawan questioned Jagan’s reluctance to engage in open press meetings, fueling speculation about the state of his mental well-being.

Allaying fears of Jana Sena fans on Alliance with TDP:

With the announcement of an alliance with the TDP for the 2024 elections, concerns among Jana Sena supporters surfaced regarding potential betrayal by the TDP post-election. Pawan sought to allay these fears by urging his cadres and fans to trust him. He emphasized his party’s track record over the last decade, assuring his supporters that the alliance with the TDP would be mutually beneficial. Pawan highlighted the complementary strengths of both parties, creating a sense of optimism among neutral observers keen on Andhra Pradesh’s development. He advised his followers not to make derogatory comments about the TDP leaders, emphasizing the importance of unity within the alliance.

Assurances on Power Sharing:

In a moment that electrified his fans, Pawan Kalyan declared that the Jana Sena Party would be part of the alliance forming the government in the 2024 elections. He acknowledged the desires and dreams of his supporters who had waited patiently for this moment, some for over a decade. With an air of confidence, Pawan assured his fans that the Jana Sena Party would undoubtedly be part of the power-sharing arrangement after the 2024 elections, igniting hope and enthusiasm among his dedicated followers.

Pawan Kalyan’s speech in Mangalagiri was not merely a political address but a passionate and introspective discourse that left an indelible mark on the audience. It sparked conversations, deep reflections, and an undercurrent of anticipation as Andhra Pradesh inches closer to a pivotal electoral battle in 2024.

Pawan Stands by Grieving Family and Raises Concerns on Volunteer System

0

The recent tragic incident involving the murder of an elderly lady named Kotagiri Varalakshmi by a volunteer named Venkat in Pendurthi, Visakhapatnam district, has garnered significant attention. It is known news that the volunteer attacked the old lady to steal her gold jewelry. Amid this distressing backdrop, Jana Sena Party leader Pawan Kalyan undertook a visit to console Varalakshmi’s grieving family. Details are as follows.

As part of the Varahi tour, Pawan Kalyan is currently touring the Vishakhapatnam district. The chief of Jana Sena Party, today paid a visit to Varalakshmi’s residence located in the Pendurthi constituency. During his visit, he participated in a tribute ceremony honoring Varalakshmi’s memory. The purpose of this visit was to offer solace and support to the family members who were grappling with this tragic loss.

Interacting with the media on this occasion, Pawan Kalyan expressed his concerns regarding the safety of single women, who seem to be targeted by volunteers for criminal activities. He shared that these issues would be brought to the attention of the Union Home Ministry. Pawan Kalyan reaffirmed his party’s commitment to pursuing justice for Varalakshmi and ensuring that the perpetrators are held accountable for their actions.

Drawing attention to another disturbing incident, Pawan highlighted a case in Narsipatnam where a volunteer allegedly impregnated a single woman, and the leaders of the YSRCP failed to respond appropriately. He also commented that more than a hundred children have gone missing in the Uttarandhra region, pointing to the need for improved law and order.

Furthermore, Pawan Kalyan criticized the lack of security and protection for Members of Parliament (MPs) and their families under the YSRCP-led government. He emphasized that if an MP’s own family could be subjected to attacks without adequate action, it was indicative of a broader issue with governance and leadership. But Vizag MP told he doesn’t want to respond to the comments of Pawan.

Pawan’s Varahi tour is getting considerable attention in the state of AP now. We need to wait and see how YSRCP leaders will respond to these comments.

Pawan to bat for TDP in NDA meet

1

Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan is likely to raise the issue of restoring alliance with the TDP in Andhra Pradesh in the coming elections. He is planning to raise the issue at the meeting of the NDA parties scheduled to be held in Delhi on Tuesday.

Pawan Kalyan had been waiting for an opportunity to convince the BJP leaders to restore the party’s alliance with the TDP ahead of the 2024 general election. He is firm on ensuring that the anti-government vote is not divided as that would benefit the ruling YSR Congress. He already had three rounds of meetings with TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu in the last eight months.

The TDP, BJP and Jana Sena have gone for elections in alliance in 2014 and have won the battle. The BJP became a partner in the TDP-led government in the state, while Jana Sena, which did not contest the elections, remained outside the cabinet.

However, things changed with the BJP leadership bringing a special package proposal instead of the special category status promised to the state at the time of bifurcation. It was Jana Sena which walked out of the alliance, followed by the TDP in 2018.

After the breakup of the alliance, the three parties did not benefit in the 2019 general election. While Jana Sena won one seat, the TDP was reduced to 23 seats. The BJP lost all the seats. This time, the Jana Sena chief is strongly advocating for the restoration of alliance among the BJP, TDP and Jana Sena parties.

Pawan Kalyan, on arriving in the national capital, told the media persons that he would raise the issue at the NDA meeting. He would also focus on development of the two Telugu states, with special attention to the politics of Andhra Pradesh.

Meanwhile, BJP chief J P Nadda told media persons that 38 parties were attending the NDA meeting on Tuesday. He said that there has been a positive approach of political parties towards the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He said that more parties are ready to join the NDA this time.

Pawan sought action against Srikalahasti CI Anju Yadav

Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan on Monday visited Tirupati and met SP Parameswara Reddy. He went to the SP office in a procession and gave a representation seeking action against Srikalahasti One Town CI Anju Yadav. He condemned the attack on his party leader, K Sai, by the inspector.

The inspector slapped the Jana Sena leader during the protest organised by the party two days ago. Pawan Kalyan condemned the attack and promised to meet the district SP and seek justice. Accordingly, visited Tirupati and met the SP.

Later, speaking to the media persons, Pawan Kalyan said that the Jana Sena activists would adhere to the rule of law. He said that his party workers are ready to cooperate with the police in protecting law and order. He also sought the police support for the party to take up its political programmes from time to time.

The Jana Sena chief wanted the district SP to take disciplinary action against the inspector for her aggressive behavior with the Jana Sena activists. He supported the right of the party activists in holding protests. He said that protest is one form of expression of disagreement with the ruling party. He said it was the democratic right of the political party and wanted the police to honour the right.

He said that the Supreme Court had also upheld the right of the people to hold protests and wondered why the Srikalahasti CI slapped his party leader. He said that the CI’s reaction was like that of a ruling party leader and wanted the police to restrain from acting as political party leaders.

He thanked the human rights commission for reacting to the incident and issuing notice to the inspector. He expressed confidence that such incidents would reoccur in the future for any political party activist.

Mudragada writes yet another open letter to Pawan Kalyan

Former minister and Kapu leader Mudragada Padmanabham, on Friday wrote yet another open letter to Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan. He made it clear that he would be contesting the next general election in 2024.

He said that both Pawan Kalyan and the Jana Sena leaders have made him take a call on contesting the election. He said he was of two minds on contesting the election until Pawan Kalyan criticized him during his tour in Godavari districts.

In his strongly worded open letter, Mudragada blamed Pawan Kalyan and the Jana Sena leaders for criticizing him in the public meetings. He wanted to know if Pawan Kalyan had any evidence to prove that he had exploited the Kapus or had amassed wealth in the name of the Kapu movement.

Mudragada wanted to know if Pawan Kalyan had ever visited the Kapus in jail after Vangaveeti Ranga’s murder in 1988. He also wanted to know if the Jana Sena chief had ever met the family members of those who were jailed or killed for being with Vangaveeti Ranga.

He also posed a question asking him whether he is aware of the police cases filed against hundreds of Kapus in 1993-94 and had ever represented to the government to withdraw the cases.

Mudragada referred to the 2016 public meeting of the Kapus in Tuni and wanted to know whether the Jana Sena chief had ever visited any of those Kapus or their families or even ever tried to get the cases withdrawn by the government.

He also wanted to know whether Pawan Kalyan had visited any of the Kapu family members who were arrested during the recent struggle over naming of Konaseema district as Dr B R Ambedkar Konaseema district. The former minister wondered where the Jana Sena chief was when the Kapu youth were facing police cases or being victimized in different forms for the community.

YSRCP MLA dares Pawan to contest against him

0

The ruling YSR Congress MLA from Kakinada Urban, Dwarampudi Chandrasekhar Rao, on Monday dared Jana Sena president Pawan Kalyan to contest against him. He also asked whether Pawan Kalyan had the freedom to contest from anywhere he wanted to.

Speaking to media persons at Kakinada, Chandrasekhar Rao took strong exception to Pawan Kalyan’s remarks against him the other day. Pawan Kalyan alleged that the MLA was indulging in Ganja smuggling and he would take him on the streets with handcuffs once Jana Sena formed the government after the next election.

Pawan Kalyan also said that he would ensure the defeat of Chandrasekhar Reddy in the election. “I would not let you enter the Assembly again,” Pawan Kalyan said and pledged that he would change his name if Chandrasekhar Reddy won the election.

Reacting to this statement, Chandrasekhar Reddy dared Pawan Kalyan to contest from Kakinada Urban Assembly constituency against him. He also said that Pawan Kalyan would have to get the ticket from TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu.

“I will get the ticket from Jagan Mohan Reddy. Pawan Kalyan will have to get it from Chandrababu Naidu,” the MLA said. He further said that he had contested the Assembly elections three times and won twice. However, Pawan Kalyan contested from two seats and lost both the seats, he said.

Stating that Pawan Kalyan had made personal remarks against him, the MLA said he would also make personal remarks against the Jana Sena chief. He sought to advise the Jana Sena chief to focus on political activities rather than getting involved in personal activities.

Pawan Kalyan demands 33% reservation for women in legislatures

1

Actor politician Pawan Kalyan on Wednesday demanded that women should be provided 33 per cent reservation in legislatures.

Making the demand on the occasion of the International Women’s Day, the Jana Sena Party (JSP) leader stressed that it was included in the election manifesto of his party.

Wishing all women on the day, he assured them that he will continue his political efforts to achieve 33 per cent reservation.

“I strongly believe that there must be an increase in the number of seats for women in the legislatures to ensure women stand on their own as financially self-reliant, and achieve empowerment.

“The woman is the form of power.. The woman is seen in multi forms..The woman has multifaceted talents..The woman is the originator of human creation. What can be given in return to such a great woman? The services of a female, who was among us, in different forms as a mother, a sister, a life partner and a daughter are priceless. A home without a woman is like a temple sans a light,” Pawan Kalyan said in his message.

“We believe that where women are respected the goddesses will make a stay there. It’s true. I earnestly believe that in a place where women are honoured, peace and wealth will flourish there. But, society and governments must pay much more attention to achieve complete empowerment of women and make them live with freedom. Stringent steps have to be taken to establish an atrocity-free society for women,” he added.

Why is Pawan accused of money in politics?

Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan is accused of taking money from other political parties. It was first the ruling YSR Congress which made allegations of money against Pawan Kalyan. The YSR Congress leaders have even branded him as the package star.

Pawan Kalyan reacted strongly to these comments a couple of weeks ago and warned them that he would slap them with his footwear, if they call him package star once again. But the YSR Congress leaders continue to call him a package star. They also call him the foster son of Chandrababu Naidu.

On Sunday, a vernacular daily came up with an analytical story that Pawan Kalyan was offered anything around Rs 1000 crore by Telangana chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao seeking alliance with Jana Sena.

The offer of Rs 1000 crore was a strategic plan by KCR to distance Pawan Kalyan from TDP and help Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy in Andhra Pradesh. The second strategy was to have the Kapu votes help the BRS in Telangana.

The vernacular daily built up the story saying that KCR had sent his emissaries to Pawan Kalyan with the offer and is waiting for the Jana Sena chief’s response.

What is more interesting is that the vernacular daily supports TDP in Andhra Pradesh and the story had some political interests as well.

The big question is whether the vernacular daily planned the story with an intention to tie up its hands from moving away from the TDP or to expose money connection with Pawan Kalyan!

It is said that Pawan Kalyan is trying to form an alliance with the TDP for the next election and is demanding lions share in seats and some money in return from the TDP.

Will Pawan remain silent to this story too or react as he did so with the YSR Congress leaders for calling him package star, is the big question now.

Palla Srinivas Rao, TDP leader and former MLA from Gajuwaka constituency, made key comments today on TDP Janasena alliance. Details as follows

As per the recent developments, it is clear that Janasena and TDP moving closer to each other. There have also been questions about the constituency from which Pawan will contest. Today reporters posted the same question to Palla Srinivasa Rao who is aspiring TDP ticket from Gajuwaka constituency this time. Palla won from this constituency in 2014 but lost in 2019. He told today that CBN not visiting his constituency in 2019 is also one of the reasons for his debacle in 2019. He also admitted that there were rumours at that time that CBN did so to support Pawan, who was contesting from the same constituency. When asked about if he is ready to sacrifice his seat in 2024 in case Pawan wants to contest from Gajuwaka, he told that he would abide by decision taken by CBN in such cases, no matter what the decision is. However, he quickly added that he is not interested to contest as MP this time.

As per the reports, there’s huge anti wave on incumbent YSRCP MLA Nagi Reddy and even Jagan is not willing to give him ticket this time. Given this background, in 2024, it would be a cake walk for the opposition candidate at Gajuwaka. We need to wait and see how the equations change in near future.

Pawan Kalyan hints at new alliance in Andhra Pradesh

Tollywood actor and Jana Sena Party (JSP) leader Pawan Kalyan said on Tuesday that if the BJP says no to an electoral alliance in Andhra Pradesh, his party may go alone or have new alliances. He also made it clear that there would be no alliance with the BJP in Telangana.

He hinted at alliance with other parties in both the Telugu states. He, however, said clarity on the electoral alliance would come after the announcement of election dates.

Pawan Kalyan was responding to queries from the media at Kondagattu in Telangana’s Jagtial district after Vahana puja of his specially designed campaign vehicle at the local temple.

The actor politician, who met Telugu Desam Party (TDP) president and former chief minister of Andhra Pradesh N. Chandrababu Naidu twice in recent months, said that he wants to avoid a split of votes and hence calling for the parties to come together.

“They may come or may not come. We already have an alliance with the BJP. If they say no, we will go it alone,” he said, adding that JSP is also ready for new alliances.

Later, addressing a meeting of JSP leaders from Telangana, Pawan Kalyan said JSP is ready to contest 25 to 40 Assembly and 7 to 14 Lok Sabha seats in Telangana.

He said if any party comes forward for alliance with JSP in Telangana, they would welcome it.

He said that there would be no electoral alliance with the BJP but he would extend his support to that party.

The JSP leader asked the party leaders to ensure that the party was able to influence the outcome even in constituencies where it would not field candidates.

Pawan Kalyan observed that the governance in Telangana is better compared to Andhra Pradesh. He, however, said the problems of both states were different and they cannot be compared.

He also remarked that those ruling Andhra Pradesh were not ordinary persons; they killed their own uncle, they abused the judiciary and used the police system as they wished.

He stated democracy has no value in Andhra Pradesh. “Such a leadership is not there in Telangana,” he added.
