Rules Ranjann is going to be a pure fun in theatres on Oct 6: Kiran Abbavaram

1

As Kiran Abbavaram’s much-awaited flick Rules Ranjann is arriving on October 6, the entire team celebrated the pre-release event on Saturday here in Hyderabad. Starring Kiran Abbavaram and Neha Shetty in the lead roles, Rules Ranjan is directed by Rathinam Krishna and produced by Divyang Lavania and Murali Krishnaa Vemuri under the banner Star Light Entertainment Pvt Ltd.

Other actors also include Meher Chahal, Vennela Kishore, Subbaraju, Hyper Aadhi, Viva Harsha, Annu Kapoor, Atul Parchure, Ajay, Makarand Deshpande and Abhimanyu Singh.

AM Rathnam: First I should thank the producers for bankrolling Rules Ranjann keeping faith in my son Rathinam Krishna’s vision. I’ve seen the movie, and it’s pleasantly entertaining. If songs are catching the attention of film lovers, the movie has made half the mark towards becoming a blockbuster. I’ve been in the film industry for more than 50 years. I worked with AR Rehman and other biggies of the industry. I even worked under legendary actor NT Rama Rao garu. I’ve worked with mythological films, socio-fantasies and crime thrillers in the past, later because of the advanced technology our Telugu film industry could make films on a massive scale. Actually, when the story was narrated to Kiran Abbavaram, everyone thought I would produce the film. I am sure I will plan a movie which I will direct Kiran and also produce it.

Neha Sshetty: I thank all Telugu audiences for the love, support and appreciation. And those who made the signature step of Sammohanam went viral on social media. After my character as Radhika, this is happening for the second time. Rules Ranjann is a complete paisa vasool entertainer for Telugu audiences. Director Rathinam Krishna is a very passionate filmmaker. I know how many sleepless nights he had. For more than anything else, I wish the film gives him the desired success.

Rathinam Krishna: Every youth has some ambition in his life. A good job soon after graduating from college. Kiran Abbavaram gets a cushy IT job soon after college. Some youngsters have dreams of other sorts, say a good girlfriend after getting a job. Rules Ranjann is a simple storyline told in an entertaining way. Hyper Aadi, Vennela Kishore, Subbaraju Viva Harsha will thoroughly entertain audiences.

Kiran Abbavaram: I thank my producers, technicians, co-stars, artistes and director Rathinam Krishna for keeping faith in me and my efforts. I thank numerous fans who have been with me in my lows and highs. I am sure Rules Ranjann will entertain everyone.

Lyric writer Rambabu Gosala: Since childhood days, whenever we saw AM Rathnam presents we used to think the film was going to be a blockbuster. Finally, my dream came true with Rules Ranjann. It’s a great feeling to have worked with the producers of the film. I wrote the two songs — Sammohanuda and Nalo Nenu Lenu which have become chartbusters. Thanks to everyone who made them successful on social media. I wish that Rules Ranjann would become as successful as Arjun Reddy and Kanthara.

Singer Sarath Santosh: I thank the makers for offering the chance to sing the song Naalo Nenu Lenu. A special mention to music composer Amrish garu for the beautiful melody. And inputs given by director Rathinam Krishna garu have come handy for me, I am so thankful to him.

Senior character artiste Madhu Mani: Good evening, everyone who attended this event. I played the role of the hero’s (Kiran Abbavaram) mother in the movie. It is an entertaining role. I was introduced to director Rathinam Krishna garu through our co-director Ranganath. That’s how I happened to do this character. It was so lovely working with the director Krishna garu for the freedom that you have given to me. I wish Rules Ranjann would become a massive hit and bring money to producers. I also wish the makers should come up with another entertaining subject before audiences.

Art director Sudheer Macharla: Congratulations to the whole team, Rules Ranjann will become a sure shot hit. It will be a fun ride on October 6. I urge everyone to watch the film with your family.

Cinematographer Dilip Kumar: We’ve given our best for the film. It’s an effort from the whole team Rules Ranjann. We wish Rathinam Krishna garu the very best ahead of the release.

Producer Ambika Krishna: I know Murali Krishna garu and Divyang garu for the last one year. We collaborated for multiple businesses. I feel that since Murali garu speaks so many rules naturally, the film’s title is named Rules Ranjann. Songs have become a massive hit. If one has to write the history of Telugu cinema, there should be a special page dedicated to A.M Rathnam garu. What a filmography! Be it the superhit song Nelluri Nerajana.. or be it the film Bharateeyudu starring Kamal Haasan, or for that matter the blockbuster of Pawan Kalyan’s Kushi. And his son has ventured into filmmaking, I wish him good success. Amrish, the son of veteran actress Jaya Chitra, has scored the music for the songs. Kiran Abbavaram, although he is young, looks a very down-to-earth individual, and a very polite gentleman. I wish Neha Sshetty great success.

Music director Amrish: I’ve been a great fan of A.M Rathnam sir for his films irrespective of languages. Even 7G Rainbow Colony, which was re-released recently, has been a hit in theatres. I thank Rathnam sir. Hyper Aadhi garu’s comedy is amazing. As a composer, I’d been waiting for the second half to come during the re-recording work. Vennela Kishore has done an extraordinary performance. Kiran Abbavaram garu’s energy and timing are amazing. Neha Shetty garu was amazing. Singer Sharath too has done a great job. I am thankful to our makers Murali Krishna garu and Divyang Lavanya garu. I thank my mother Jaya Chitra, I would not imagine my life without her. More than a director, Rathinam Krishna is like my elder brother. He sat and spent so many hours with me in the process of making the project work.

Filmmaker Anudeep KV: I wish and pray Rathinam Krishna score a hit with Rules Ranjann. Our hero Kiran has amassed a good fanbase with ‘Raja Vaaru Rani Gaaru’, I wish you scale more heights with this film. Music composer Amrish garu’s music looks amazing to me. I wish audiences

Hyper Aadhi: Rules Ranjann is going to be an out-and-out family entertainer. On behalf of the team Rules Ranjann, I congratulate all the film directors, technicians and artistes who have been raising the bar of Telugu cinema at the global stage. There is so much to learn about actors from Telugu cinema. Cinema is the only stressbuster for all other professions like doctors, engineers, bankers etc. Memers, trollers, film reviewers are all part of the Telugu cinema. Hats off to their creativity.

Producer Murali Krishna Vemuri: Good evening to everyone, and thank everyone for gracing the event on this occasion. The script realisation happened with Rathinam Krishna garu and AM Rathnam garu. He is a legend in his own right. A stalwart of Telugu cinema, he has been a beacon of light. And his son Rathinam Krishna garu is so meticulous with his work. He has put in relentless efforts. Rules Ranjann is pure fun to watch on the big screen, I am sure audiences will enjoy it when the film arrives in theatres on October 6. I thank all the artistes and technicians who worked behind the project.

Producer Divyang Lavanya: Respected by all the film fraternity, I want to thank each and every member of Rules Ranjann. Anything you want to achieve in life can happen only with a good team. Without people around, nothing you can achieve in life. My bond with Murali Krishna Vemuri is inseparable.

Theatrical trailer of Rules Ranjann

Theatrical trailer of Rules Ranjann, the Kiran Abbavaram, Neha Shetty starrer, launched, guarantees a laughathon in theatres

Kiran Abbavaram, who has scored hits like Raja Vaaru Rani Gaaru, SR Kalyana Mandapam, Vinaro Bhagyamu Vishnu Katha, is joining forces with DJ Tillu fame Neha Sshetty for an out and out entertainer Rules Ranjann. The film is directed by Rathinam Krishna, who’d helmed Nee Manasu Naaku Telusu, Oxygen earlier. The laugh riot is all set to hit screens on September 28.

Rules Ranjann is produced by Divyang Lavania, Murali Krishnaa Vemuri under Star Light Entertainment and presented by AM Rathnam. An impressive trailer is exactly what the team needed to sustain the buzz surrounding the film and the makers have done everything to grab the eyeballs of audiences through a funny glimpse with catchy dialogues, upbeat music and quirky treatment.

The trailer, launched today, commences with a father claiming that he would use alcohol to console his son and asks the latter his preference (who responds with beer). The protagonist Manoranjan, a software employee, is introduced as someone who’s a stickler for rules and leads an orthodox life. There’s a funny sequence around his male friends appearing like pregnant women after marriage.

With arrival of his past acquaintance Sana in Manoranjan’s life, the latter’s existence takes a drastic turn, transforming him from Rules Ranjann to Pub Ranjan; he constantly boozes around with her. Their relationship progresses but Manoranjan is confused. A marriage sequence comes with a reference to Neha Shetty’s act as Radhika in DJ Tillu too.

Manoranjan’s friends advise him to go slow with his relationship and ‘compromise’ when necessary. How will he get past the roadblocks in his life? How will he transform from a geek to a flamboyant youngster? Rules Ranjann promises to be a laugh riot in theatres with whacky scenarios, superb writing, Kiran Abbavaram-Neha Shetty’s terrific chemistry and catchy music.

Kiran Abbavaram’s relatable boy-next-door act, Neha Shetty’s screen presence, the screenplay and the unique exploration of the Mumbai backdrop piques the curiosity of viewers. While offering a peek into the film’s fun quotient, the makers of Rules Ranjann have kept the plot under wraps. The entertainer has all the ingredients to please audiences from 6 to 60, going by the trailer.

After hearing Rules Ranjann script, I broke into laughter for two hours: Kiran Abbavaram

1

Starring actor Kiran Abbavaram and Neha Shetty in the lead roles, the out and out entertainer Rules Ranjann will hit theatres worldwide on September 28. Written and Directed by Rathinam Krishna, the son of renowned producer and screenwriter A.M Rathnam, the film is produced jointly by Divyang Lavania and Murali Krishnaa Vemuri under Star Light Entertainment Pvt Ltd. The music is scored by Amrish. The film also boasts actors Abhimanyu Singh, Makarand Deshpande, Ajay, Meher Chahal, Vennela Kishore, Subbaraju, and Hyper Aadi among others in key roles.

Speaking during the press meet held today, producer A M Rathnam, who is presenting the film, said it is going to be a fun-filled entertainer for Telugu crowds.

At the event, Kiran Abbavaram said, “When the director called me. I met him for the respect I have for Rathnam garu. And after hearing the script, I broke into laughter for two hours. Audiences would undoubtedly enjoy the film in theatres the way I enjoyed it. I play the role called Mano Ranjan alias Rules Ranjann. He is just like a person among us. We all might have come from that phase. Thanks for Starlight Entertainment. I thank Amrish for the music that he scored for the song which is a smashing hit on digital platforms. I remember having Pawan Kalyan’s blockbuster flick ‘Kushi’ — the poster which I pasted on the wall in my room. I was a small boy back then. Very honoured to work with him. I thank A.M Rathnam sir for having him present Rules Ranjann.”

Responding on why he shift gear from a massy hero to a soft-natured boy-next-door character in Rules Ranjann, actor Kiran Abbavaram said, “After playing massy roles in my previous films, I wanted to play something soft. And Rules Ranjann is an out-and-out entertainment although it has a love track in it. Audiences will enjoy watching me on the screen.”

Thanking the entire cast and crew of Rules Ranjann, actress Neha Sshetty described how special the film is to her. “I am playing the role of Sana in the film. First I would like to talk about the single Sammohanuda. Three days before the song launch, I was so excited about the first commercial song Sammohanuda. No one knew that I was a dancer. How my entire journey was shooting for the film. I was telling my director how it would be. Because I was introduced to the character Radhika in my first film. How the impact would be on audiences? I asked how many views would the song get. They’re saying like 5 million views. But today, when I woke up and checked the views. Sammohanuda received a staggering 23 million views. Thank you for your love and support. I thank music composer Amrish. I thank Shreya Ghoshal. It has been lovely working with my co-star Kiran Abbavaram.”

The director of Rules Ranjann, Rathinam Krishna said,”I first directed a film called Oxygen which was a message-oriented film. It didn’t run as expected. But I kept receiving calls from people I know saying that Oxygen is amazing. I asked them where they had watched. They said OTT. Then I realised that the audience needs an entertainment film not a preachy or message-oriented flick. I came up with Rules Ranjann which is high on entertainment. And you all will enjoy watching it on the big screen. Hero Kiran garu committed to four to five films after receiving success with ‘SR Kalyanamandapam’. He came to me to say that he is busy doing back-to-back films. The moment he heard me narrating the story, he was in splits. One hour passed, and he was so eager to hear the second half. Finally, he couldn’t say no to me. Then later, he agreed to sign the film, and he took his time out of busy schedule to come to me for the shooting. Thus he completed Rules Ranjann, and four other films along with mine.”

“In my previous directorial debut Oxygen had eight fight scenes. Later, we were stuck in a Covid-induced lockdown where none of us had any work. I felt all our lives had become comedy, thus I wanted to make a comedy film. If you see the trend in Tollywood it is either a big-star film that is doing good or a film with good content is winning the hearts of audiences. So I thought I should tweak Rules Ranjann a bit to make it a comedy genre film. Accidentally, the flow has helped me,” the director added.

Speaking during the event, music composer Amrish said he didn’t expect so much reception for the songs in ‘Rules Ranjann’. “I am able to see how much love and support Telugu audiences shower. I am thankful to you. Even though I am from Chennai, we usually speak Telugu. I am myself a Telugu person. I thank A.M Rathnam garu, producer Divyang sir, Murali sir and the entire team. I wouldn’t have come this far, without the support of these people. The trailer has come out amazingly well. Our director didn’t sleep without completing the work.”

Producer Divyang Lavania said, “Music director Amrish is a good friend of ours. We met many times in Chennai, Jyothi garu is also a very good friend of Amrish garu. That’s how we met and started discussing producing a movie together. I should say it is all a teamwork.”

Producer Murali Krishna said, “We happened to hear the story of Rules Ranjann a year ago. Later, A.M Rathnam garu brought his son Rathinam Krishna to us. We’re friends to begin with. We just loved the script. And it took off very well. A.M Rathnam garu’s love and support is amazing. When the script was narrated to us, it was amazing. We felt that the movie would become a blockbuster the moment we heard the story. And the rest is all history.”

Tollywood young actors shocking Filmmakers

1

With the digital market blooming up for stars and the promising actors, several Tollywood actors have hiked their fees for their upcoming projects. After one successful film, young Tollywood actors are taking multiple advances even before the projects are getting materialized. Actors like Vishwak Sen, Naveen Polishetty and Siddhu Jonnalagadda have signed multiple films. Vishwak Sen and Siddhu are charging Rs 5-6 crores per film which is high. The makers will make profits only if these films end up as super hits in theatres. Vishwak Sen lost big money on Das Ka Dhamki which was produced by his home banner. He also released the film on his own.

After delivering a series of flops, Kiran Abbavaram is in demand. He has more than half a dozen projects signed and some of them are in shooting mode. He has three more releases this year. With the digital rates creeping up, the actors are demanding big numbers and the producers are bowing to their demands without opposing their high paycheques. Most of the filmmakers are in shock with the demands of the actors. Some others are not hesitant to pay high amounts for the actors. They are just desperate of doing films without calculating the market potential of the actor.

Kiran Abbavaram’s Meter Teaser: Kickass

Young hero Kiran Abbavaram’s latest flick Meter under the direction of debutant Ramesh Kaduri had its teaser unveiled just a while ago. The teaser begins with a pre-introduction of the protagonist who makes his entry in style as a Sub-inspector of police who for sure is not a regular type.

This man doesn’t want someone to control him. He is even ready to resign from his job, in unfavorable conditions. He announces a fight against an influential person which makes the narrative much more interesting. Though the teaser won’t reveal the plot, it revolves completely around Kiran’s mass character.

Kiran Abbavaram looked macho in the character and he brought boldness with his powerful portrayal of the police officer. Ramesh Kaduri is impressive on his debut. He got complete support from cameraman Venkat C Dileep and music director Sai Kartheek. Clap Entertainment and Mythri Movie Makers made the movie on a grand scale.

The kickass teaser increases our inquisitiveness to watch the movie hitting the screens on April 7th.

Vinaro Bhagyamu Vishnu Katha Movie Review

Vinaro Bhagyamu Vishnu Katha Movie Review

Telugu360 Rating: 2.75/5

Story :
Tirupati town localite Vishnu( Kiran Abbavaram ) is a good samaritan. Motivated by his Grandfather’s preachings in childhood, Vishnu develops a habit of helping everyone around him. Youtuber Darshana ( Kashmira) tries a number-neighbor concept which makes her friend with Vishnu and Sharma (Murali Sharma). From here story takes interesting turns.

Analysis :

First half of the film sets up the all the story elements. Vishnu introduction as a good samaritan , NIA search, Darshana’s youtuber episodes , Sharma’s characterization and Interesting interval twist etc are at average minimum gaurantee level. The song describing Tirupathi town is good on screen.

Second half is slightly better than the average first half. The crime element has been interestingly tied to other characters. The last 30 minutes is good.

Production Values by Geetha Arts 2 are adequate. They are able to deliver a quality film

Kiran Abbavaram acts with ease as Vishnu. Kashmira as youtuber Darshana is adequate. Murali Sharma as Sharma did another good role.

Chaitan Bharadwaj background score provides nice elevation and also fits the theme.

Positives:

Engaging script
Few Emotions, Comedy
Freshness in the subject

Songs

Negatives :

Not many high elements
Slow start to second half

Verdict :

Vinaro Bhagyamu Vishnu Katha is not a path breaking film, but for sure a thriller that keeps you engaged. The script has less predictability,a dash of humor and decent emotions. A decent film to try on big screen if you like those films with twists and turns !

Wakeup Kiran Abbavaram

Kiran Abbavaram is one of the promising actors among the youngsters of Telugu cinema. The actor proved his mettle with SR Kalyanamandapam and the actor even involved in the script of the film. After the super success of SR Kalyanamandapam, the actor turned a signing spree and he signed close to dozen films. He is in a mad rush and completed the shoot of six films till date. The actor released three films this year: Sebastian, Sammathame and Nenu Meeku Baga Kavalsinavaadini. All these three films ended up as massive duds.

Nenu Meeku Baga Kavalsinavaadini released on Friday and the response is quite poor. Kiran Abbavaram is badly trolled and criticized for his poor script selection and bland films. Releasing three films in a gap of 6-7 months is really not a wise move for any actor. Kiran should have convinced his producers and maintained a healthy gap between the releases. His fans are completely disappointed with his recent films.

“Kiran is a promising actor but he is really in a rush. He should take special care on the scripts before his market sinks down completely. The non-theatrical market too will be vanished soon if Kiran is not careful” told a Tollywood producer. The actor is done with the shoots of Vinaro Bhagyamu Vishnu Katha and Meter. He is shooting for Rules Ranjan currently. Hope the actor will not have any new release for this year and hope he keeps more focus on his upcoming projects.
