Wakeup Kiran Abbavaram

1

Kiran Abbavaram is one of the promising actors among the youngsters of Telugu cinema. The actor proved his mettle with SR Kalyanamandapam and the actor even involved in the script of the film. After the super success of SR Kalyanamandapam, the actor turned a signing spree and he signed close to dozen films. He is in a mad rush and completed the shoot of six films till date. The actor released three films this year: Sebastian, Sammathame and Nenu Meeku Baga Kavalsinavaadini. All these three films ended up as massive duds.

Nenu Meeku Baga Kavalsinavaadini released on Friday and the response is quite poor. Kiran Abbavaram is badly trolled and criticized for his poor script selection and bland films. Releasing three films in a gap of 6-7 months is really not a wise move for any actor. Kiran should have convinced his producers and maintained a healthy gap between the releases. His fans are completely disappointed with his recent films.

“Kiran is a promising actor but he is really in a rush. He should take special care on the scripts before his market sinks down completely. The non-theatrical market too will be vanished soon if Kiran is not careful” told a Tollywood producer. The actor is done with the shoots of Vinaro Bhagyamu Vishnu Katha and Meter. He is shooting for Rules Ranjan currently. Hope the actor will not have any new release for this year and hope he keeps more focus on his upcoming projects.

Nenu Meeku Baaga Kavalsinavaadini Trailer: Mass Entertainer Loading

0

Kiran Abbavaram impressed the Tollywood audience with SR Kalyanamandapam and he has a series of films lined up. Two of his films Sebastian and Sammathame bombed at the box-office this year and Nenu Meeku Baaga Kavalsinavaadini is the third release for the actor. The trailer of the film is out and it is a packed mass entertainer. Kiran is presented in a complete mass avatar and he plays a cab driver in Nenu Meeku Baaga Kavalsinavaadini. The film is also packed with sensible entertainment. SR Kalyanamandapam director Sridhar Gade is the director and Sanjana Anand, Sonu Thakur are the heroines.

The visuals look colorful and Nenu Meeku Baaga Kavalsinavaadini has several promising actors like SV Krishna Reddy, Baba Bhaskar. Manisharma scored the music and veteran producer Kodi Ramakrishna’s daughter Kodi Divyaa is the producer. The music and the heroines should have been better. Nenu Meeku Baaga Kavalsinavaadini seems to be an entertaining mass film for Kiran Abbavaram. The film is releasing on September 16th.

Sammathame Movie Review

Sammathame Review

Telugu360 Rating 2.5/5

Kiran Abbavaram shot fame with SR Kalyanamandapam and he impressed all the sections of the audience with the film. His performance too received good applause from the audience. After a debacle like Sebastian, Kiran Abbavaram is testing his luck with Sammathame, a breezy romantic drama. Gopinath Reddy is making his directorial debut with Sammathame and Chandini Chowdary is the heroine. Among the nine releases today, Sammathame is the only film that is carrying good expectations. Kanakala Praveena is the producer. Here is the complete review of Sammathame:

Story:

Sammathame is the story of Krishna (Kiran Abbavaram) who loses his mother during his childhood days. Krishna wants to find the right girl in his life and bring back the glory to his house. He works on the philosophy of marrying the right girl and love her for the rest of his life. Krishna is one youngster who has enough clarity about the girl he should marry. In this process, he meets Sanvi (Chandini Chowdary) who is against his requirements. Krishna falls in love with Sanvi and he believes that he can change her. The rest of Sammathame is all about their journey and how he convinces Sanvi.

Analysis:

Sammathame has a simple plot and it is laced with logic. The director wanted to narrate about the complications in any relationship. Sammathame has a plot that was discussed in several Telugu films. The narration is completely predictable and the film reminds the audience about several Tollywood films. The treatment is not new. Kiran Abbavaram’s performance and Chandini Chowdary’s characterization are impressive. Some of the episodes are good and the songs are shot well. But these alone could not save the film.

There is no stability in the characterization of Kiran Abbavaram. He changes his decisions instantly. His ideology gets changed after Sanvi enters his life. There are no strong reasons for Krishna to love Sanvi but he falls in love with her. Sanvi is a party girl who loves to lie to her parents. The episodes of father and son are impressive. Sammathame sounds like an OTT film as it is not racy. The second half of Sammathame looks dragged and is boring.

Performances:

Kiran Abbavaram looks natural and he did his part well. He delivered a matured performance in emotional episodes. He is quite energetic but the director fails to utilize the capability of Kiran Abbavaram completely. Chandini Chowdary’s characterization is well designed and the actress has been decent. The actress looked too lean in the songs. The makers should have picked up a bubbly beauty for the role. Comedians like Sapthagiri hardly made an impact. All the other actors are good.

As told, Sammathame has a lean script. Some of the episodes are handled well but most of Sammathame is boring and dragged. The father sentiment and the thread should have been better. Sekhar Chandra’s songs are ok and the background score is good. The production values are good.

Verdict:

Sammathame is a film that is good for a short film and not a feature film. Kiran Abbavaram’s performance and some of the episodes are the saviors.

Kiran Abbavaram wants film critics not to write early reviews

1

Telugu actor Kiran Abbavaram has appealed to film critics not to write reviews for films immediately after their release.

Kiran made his Telugu debut in 2019 with the love narrative ‘Raja Vaaru Rani Garu’ and has hits like ‘SR Kalyanamandapam’. Now that his upcoming rom-com ‘Sammathame’ is releasing soon, Kiran Abbavaram has a message to the Telugu movie reviewers.

Kiran has lately made an open call to the film reviewers to refrain from writing evaluations for films shortly after their release.

“Instead of offering reviews on Friday (the first day of film releases), delay a bit and express your reviews on Monday,” stated the young actor.

“You can totally bash a film if it is poor. However, please wait until Monday. For the first three days, let the audience watch the film and pass judgment. This is my sincere proposal to the community of film critics,” Kiran said.

Small-budget films that rely primarily on early reviews are being harmed, therefore the actor has made this appeal in order to give small films the benefit of the doubt, even if they aren’t as entertaining as predicted.

Kiran voiced his opinion ahead of the premiere of his new film ‘Sammathame’ on June 24 in theatres. The movie has Chandini Chowdary in the female lead role.

Kiran Abbavaram’s ‘Sebastian PC524’ trailer drops

0

Kiran Abbavaram’s upcoming movie ‘Sebastian PC 524’ gains much attention, after Vijay Deverakonda dropped the theatrical trailer.

The ‘Arjun Reddy’ actor, who took to his Twitter to unveil the theatrical trailer of ‘Sebastian PC 524’, wrote, “This looks super fun! Very happy to launch this amazing #SebastianTrailer. Can’t wait to witness the madness on March 4th.”

The trailer looks promising, as it establishes the role of a police constable with night blindness. It is portrayed that Kiran Abbavaram, who plays Sebastian, a police constable, is afraid to take up night duties, due to his hidden eye disease.

Theatrical trailer hints at a twist in the movie, when the constable gets suspended because he fails to stop a theft. The rest of the trailer gives a glimpse at the novel concept, with thrilling visuals and a racy backdrop.

‘Sebastian PC 524’ is directed by debutante Balaji Sayyapureddy. Nuveksha and Komalee Prasad are playing the leading ladies opposite Kiran Abbavaram.

Senior actress Rohini, Adarsh Balakrishna, and others are also a part of this movie. Produced by Siddareddy B, Raju, Pramod under the Jovitha Cinemas banner, the movie will hit screens on March 4.

‘Sebastian P.C. 524’ : Interesting teaser

0

Hero with night blindness knows how to make us smile!

‘Sebastian P.C. 524’ is a comedy thriller set in Madanapalle, Andhra Pradesh. The premise is that Seba, who suffers from night blindness, enters the police profession and how he tides over his disability in pursuit of his ambition is what this Balaji Sayyapureddy directorial is all about. An untold secret persists.

The teaser is out and one is sold on the premise, the content and the kind of humour the film has to offer. The ‘SR Kalyanamandapam’ actor doesn’t take his night blindness lightly and when he has to be on duty at night, he only has prayers on his lips. “Let nobody need my help,” he begs of God. After he twirls his moustache, Seba hits someone hard and asks if he reminded him of Jackie Chan’s stunts!

Since the movie is also a thriller, the pace becomes racy after a point in the teaser. We see tense situations involving characters played by the likes of Namratha Darekar and Adarsh Balakrishna. Srikanth Iyyangar plays the hero’s colleague in the police department.

The full force of Ghibran’s music will be on display in the film. But Raj K Nelli’s cinematography looks adept. Also featuring Komalee Prasad, Rohini, Mahesh Vitta, George, Surya, Raj Vikram, Ravi Teja, Latha and others, the film will hit the screens on February 25.

S R Kalyana Mandapam Movie Review

S R Kalyana Mandapam Movie Review

S R Kalyana Mandapam Movie Review

Telugu360 Rating 2.5/5

SR Kalyana Mandapam is the second film for Young hero Kiran Abbavaram who made his debut with rural backdrop film Raja Vaaru Rani Gaaru in 2019. Debutant director Sridhar Gade has directed the movie SR Kalyana Mandapam. Pramod and Raju produced the movie under Elite Entertainments and the music is composed by Chaitan Bharadwaj. Priyanka Jawalkar plays the heroine role in this film, Sai Kumar plays the key role as Hero’s father. This film’s promotional content has generated some buzz in the audience, it is releasing in theaters worldwide on August 6th, with premiers in USA on August 5th.

Story:

Set in Kadapa district Rayachoti, this film story revolves around S R Kalyana Mandapam owner – Dharma (Saikumar) and his son Kalyan (Kiran Abbavaram). Born rich, Dharma ruins his family business; and is humiliated by the townspeople for not being able to continue his father’s legacy. Dharma’s wife and their son Kalyan also do not like him. The movie unfolds to reveal the unfortunate events leading to the tense father-son relationship.

Analysis:

S R Kalyana Mandapam film story has good commercial elements at its core, but the narration is inconsistent and affected the movie adversely. Sai Kumar’s role Dharma is identifiable with many small-town folks who come from rich families but end up running the riches to the ground. In his role as Dharma, senior actor Sai Kumar nailed it with his performance. So did Kiran Abbavaram who played the son’s role. The father-son emotional climax is a plus point. The comedy aimed at youngsters works in parts, however casting relatively unknown faces, for what could have been an attempt at realism, backfired.
Kalyan-Sindhu love track is half-baked and lacks emotional connect. Priyanka Jawalkar plays Sindhu’s character and she looks okay in this film.

Debutante director Sridhar Gade missed a good opportunity here, even when provided with a good base story. Music by Chaitan is adequate, runs well with the theme, the songs blend well into the story.

Positives:

– First Half comedy and storyline
– Emotional Climax,Father Son relation thread
– Good Dialogues
– Sai Kumar, Kiran Performances

Negatives:
– Second half is clichéd
– Poor casting except for the main ones

Verdict:

S R Kalyana Mandapam first half is adequate, the second half could have been better. Saikumar’s performance and characterization are good, Father-Son relation thread works. However, the narration is very inconsistent. Overall, an average film that may work in small towns.
