Venky picks up a third remake in a row?

Victory Venkatesh is on a signing spree and he is busy with several projects. He completed the shoot of Naarappa that happens to be the remake of Tamil blockbuster film Asuran. The actor also took up the remake of Drishyam 2 and completed the shooting portions in quick schedules. As per the ongoing speculation, Venkatesh is keen to take up the remake of Malayalam blockbuster film Driving License. The movie released in Malayalam a couple of years ago and is reported as a smashing hit.

Venky’s home banner Suresh Productions acquired the Telugu remake rights of the film and the hunt for the director is currently on. Venkatesh will resume the shoot of F3 for now and he will complete the shooting portions after the coronavirus pandemic comes to an end. Anil Ravipudi is the director and Venkatesh, Varun Tej are the heroes in this comic entertainer. Venky is expected to take up the remake of Driving License next year. More details awaited.

F3 fun to continue in Mysore!

After a brief gap, the shooting of ‘F3’ starring Venkatesh and Varun Tej in the lead roles is going to resume from where it was kept a dot. From April 15th, the new schedule will commence in Hyderabad and without any break, it would continue in Mysore.

This is expected to be a lengthy schedule and a chunk of episodes would be canned here. Written and directed by Anil Ravipudi, ‘F3’ is going to triple the fun which is touted to be biggest fun franchise of Tollywood.

Tamannaah and Mehreen are the female leads and Sunil is playing a pivotal role.

With Devi Sri Prasad’s music, ‘F3’ is a ‘Dil’ Raju and Shirish’s production. The makers are aiming for August 27th release.

Venky heads to Kerala

Victory Venkatesh completed the shoot of Naarappa and the film will hit the screens in summer. Venkatesh and Varun Tej are shooting for F3, the sequel for F2 and the shoot of the film got delayed after Varun headed for the shoot of his boxing drama Ghani. Venky also took up the remake of Drishyam 2 in this while and he decided to complete the entire shooting portions in two quick schedules. The first schedule of the film got completed in Hyderabad in several sets and outdoor locations.

The second schedule of Drishyam 2 commenced in Kerala today. Most of the pending shoot of the film will be completed in this schedule that will last for three weeks. Venky is in plans to return back to the sets of F3 after he is done with the shoot of Drishyam 2. Jeethu Joseph who directed the original is directing the film and Suresh Productions, Aashirvaad Cinemas are the producers. This thriller will hit the screens in Telugu this year.

Venky lines up three releases this year

Victory Venkatesh completed the shoot of Naarappa and the film is announced for summer release. He is shooting for F3 in the direction of Anil Ravipudi and the film is announced for release on August 27th. Venky recently joined the sets of Drishyam 2 and the entire shooting portions will be completed in two schedules. With Varun Tej busy with the shoot of his sports drama, Venky joined the sets of Drishyam 2.

The shoot of F3 will resume in April and the entire shoot will be completed in a single schedule. Drishyam 2 will have its release at the end of this year. The exact release date will be finalized and announced soon. F3 features Venkatesh, Varun Tej, Tamannaah and Mehreen in the lead roles. Dil Raju is the producer. Drishyam 2 is directed by Jeethu Joseph and Meena plays Venky’s wife in this drama.

Venky’s Naarappa is a faithful Remake

Victory Venkatesh will be seen in the remake of Asuran and the film is titled Naarappa. Venky’s brother Suresh Babu screened the original for several young and top directors. He took suggestions from them before the scriptwork is wrapped up. The team of Naarappa decided to go ahead with the original. Not a single change was done for the script and the film is purely adapted from Asuran. Srikanth Addala came onto the board and he directed the film with reference shots from the original.

Even the action episodes are canned in a village in Tamil Nadu where Asuran was shot. The flashback episode is the lead actor’s fight against the caste system. Venkatesh and Suresh Babu decided to go ahead with the original episodes. The film is gearing up for summer release. Priyamani plays Venky’s wife in Naarappa. Suresh Productions and V Creations are the producers.

Venky signs Drishyam 2 Remake

Eight years after the release of Drishyam, the sequel for the Malayalam blockbuster Drishyam 2 is out and it is winning the hearts of the audience across the country. The makers skipped the theatrical release and the film is streaming on Amazon Prime. The last 40 minutes of the film is receiving wide appreciation. Victory Venkatesh who worked in the Telugu remake of Drishyam watched the sequel and he loved it completely.

He signed the sequel and the shoot will commence from next month. Venkatesh is keen to complete the shoot in quick back-to-back schedules. Jeethu Joseph who directed the original will direct the remake. Aashirvad Cinemas in association with Suresh Productions will produce Drishyam 2. Venkatesh completed the shoot of Naarappa recently and he is shooting for a comic entertainer F3 currently.

Victory Venkatesh reprised the role of Mohanlal in the remake of Drishyam and the film is also a super hit in Telugu. The sequel for the film is releasing in Malayalam on Amazon Prime on February 19th. Drishyam 2 is carrying huge expectations in Malayalam and as the film is heading for a digital release, the entire nation can watch the film on the day of its digital release. There are speculations that Venkatesh will play the lead role in the remake of Drishyam 2.

But Venky is not really keen on the sequel because of the digital release of the film. Most of the audience would watch the film on Amazon Prime and there would be no curiosity left among them. Venky faces the heat of Megastar

The release dates of several Tollywood films are announced and the chart for the year is almost full. The summer is jam-packed and most of the films headed for post summer release as they are not in a mood to face the heat from the other releases. Venkatesh’s Naarappa is announced for May 14th release and hours after the announcement was made, Megastar Chiranjeevi’s Acharya is announced for May 13th release. This left Venky and Suresh Babu in a state of shock.

The makers of Acharya wanted to release the film on May 7th after which the release date of Naarappa was finalized. But Koratala Siva had changes of plans in the last minute and he wanted to take the advantage of Ramzan holiday and announced the release date as May 13th. Suresh Babu is currently in talks and the release date of Naarappa will be changed and the new release date would be announced very soon.

Venky in talks for a family entertainer

Victory Venkatesh and Tharun Bhascker have been in talks for a project from the past few months. Tharun inked a deal with Suresh Productions and he already directed Ee Nagaraniki Emmayyindi. He penned an interesting script on horse racing and narrated it to Venky last year. The project got delayed due to various reasons. Tharun Bhascker has now changed his plans completely and is back in discussions with Venky again.

Tharun Bhascker penned an out and out family entertainer considering Venkatesh. He even narrated the script to Venkatesh and Suresh Babu. Tharun Bhascker says that they responded on a positive note and the scriptwork is currently happening at a fast pace. More details will be announced at the right time. Victory Venkatesh and his nephew Rana Daggubati have been in plans to work together and the hunt for the right script was on from the past few years. Suresh Babu took the responsibility but he rejected several scripts. Rana Daggubati who was working on a bunch of web series loved a script and forwarded it to Venky. The veteran actor too loved the script and gave his nod. Rana is keen to make the web series on international standards and plan a pan Indian release.

He is in talks with a Bollywood director to helm this interesting web series. Suresh Productions in association with a leading digital giant will produce this prestigious project. There are also speculations that Venky and Rana would team up for a feature film soon. More details about the duo teaming up together would be announced soon. Venky is busy with Naarappa and will join the sets of F3 from December. Rana Daggubati is completing the shoot of Viraata Parvam now.

Veteran producer Suresh Babu has been in the hunt for a right script for Daggubati multi-starrer which will feature Venkatesh and Rana Daggubati in the lead roles. The project got delayed by years as they could not get the right script. Going with the latest update, the project is finally happening next year and Rana Daggubati himself confirmed the news. Rana said that the script of the film is locked and an official announcement would be made very soon.

With Venky celebrating his birthday in December, the announcement may come out on the special day. Rana said that all the formalities along with the script work are completed recently. Venky returned back to the sets of Naarappa and he will soon join the sets of F3. Rana is completing Viraata Parvam and he will soon join the sets of Hiranyakashyapa. More details about the Daggubati multi-starrer would be known through an official announcement.

Venky returning back to work

With the arrival of the coronavirus pandemic, the film shoots are put on hold for six months. Several young actors have been shooting for their films since September but the veteran actors like Chiranjeevi, Balakrishna and Venkatesh never returned back to work. They are not ready to take a risk as of now. Victory Venkatesh has pending portions of shoot left for his upcoming release Narappa. The actor is now in plans to return back to the sets of the film from November 5th and shoot for some of the portions for five days.

Venky will complete the portions with his beard so that he can move to another look for F3. The shoot will take place in Hyderabad. 20 days of flashback episodes will be left which will be shot next year. Narappa is the remake of Tamil blockbuster Asuran. Srikanth Addala is directing this drama and is produced by Suresh Babu, K Thanu. The film may release in summer next year. Venky is in plans to join the sets of F3 after he completes this schedule of Narappa.
