There is a spiritual side of Victory Venkatesh and the actor revealed this during several interviews. The veteran actor is quite devotional and loves to spend time in holy places during his breaks. The actor wanted to play Swamy Vivekananda and narrate his story to the world. He also revealed the impact of Vivekananda’s preachings on him in the past. Tollywood director Neelakanta worked on the script for a couple of years but the project got stalled due to various reasons. Venkatesh went ahead with his other projects and kept his plans on hold.

Top writer turned director Koratala Siva during his recent interview told that he would love to direct the life story of Swamy Vivekananda. He also said that Swamy Vivekananda inspired him in various ways. He wants to make it an international film on his story. It is clear that an actor like Venkatesh and a director like Koratala Siva have similar plans. We have to wait to see if the duo will join hands to narrate the life story of Swamy Vivekananda.

Victory Venkatesh and Mega Prince Varun Tej are coming together as Summer Soggaallu to offer Triple the fun in blockbuster maker Anil Ravipudi’s most awaited fun-filled entertainer F3 produced on grand scale by Tollywood’s leading production house Sri Venkateswara Creations. While Dil Raju presents, Shirish is producing the movie. F3 is set to create laughing riot in theatres for the summer on April 28th.

Rockstar Devi Sri Prasad has scored music for F3 and here’s an update on first single of the movie. The first song Lab Dab Lab Dab Dabboo will be out on February 7th. It is known that, F3 revolves around money.

The film’s entire talkie part was wrapped up and only one song is left pending. Post-production works are also underway for the movie which is the franchise for the double blockbuster F2.

While Tamannaah Bhatia and Mehreen Pirzada are the heroines opposite Venkatesh and Varun Tej respectively, Nata Kireeti Rajendra Prasad will be seen in a hilarious role. While Sonal Chauhan is roped in as the third actress to add more glamour, Sunil is zeroed in for an entertaining role. So, F3 will be combination of entertainment, glamor and other commercial ingredients.

Sai Sriram cranks the camera, while Tammiraju is the editor. Harshith Reddy is the co-producer.

Venkatesh and Varun Tej starrer hilarious family entertainer F3 was planned for release on February 25th.

Nonetheless, the makers have pushed the movie to summer. The movie directed by Anil Ravipudi will now grace the theatres on April 29th.

Usually, star attractions come during festival or other seasons, despite huge competition, as to capitalize on long holidays.

Apparently, the makers of F3 have changed their mind, as releasing films in non-holiday season will cause a dent to the collections.

F3’s shoot is currently underway, and the makers promise triple the fun with this hilarious franchise.

Sunil and Sonal Chauhan are the new addition to the ensemble cast of the movie produced by Sirish and presented by Dil Raju.

Victory Venkatesh is busy with several projects and the latest developments say that the veteran actor is making his Bollywood comeback after 25 long years. Venkatesh is all set to join hands with his Superstar friend Salman Khan and the film is an action-comedy. Top producer Sajid Nadiadwala is making this combination happen and an official announcement will be made soon. Salman Khan during his recent Hyderabad visit hinted that he is all set to work with Venkatesh soon.

Telugu star Venkatesh Daggubati’s crime thriller ‘Drushyam’ has got a sequel with ‘Drushyam 2’. The movie revolves around a crime and to what extent a man named Ram Babu goes to protect his family.

Director Jeethu Joseph now opens up about his journey with thrillers.

As the movie is out on Prime Video, ‘Drushyam 2’ has grabbed the attention of all. With nail-biting suspense sequences and emotions in every frame, the movie is being lauded. Elated with the kind of response, director Jeethu Joseph expressed his happiness.

Joseph, further explains that he has struck a balance in creating nail-biting suspense thrillers and out-and-out comedy, despite being tagged with only the thriller genre.

On being quizzed about his relationship with thrillers, Jeetu shares, “I have done comedy films, I have done family dramas, but people tag me as a thriller director. It just clicked that way. I must admit that I have an inclination towards the thriller genre. But as a filmmaker, I want to do all kinds of films.”

“Maybe because I have done 2 thrillers back-to-back, people started expecting only thrillers from me. I have noticed that even the producers expect end-of-the-seat thrillers from me,” Joseph explained.

‘Drushyam 2’ stars Venkatesh, Meena, Tanikella Bharani, Nadhiya, Naresh, Sampath Raj, Kruthika, Jayakumar, and Esther Anil.

Chiranjeevi, Venkatesh pay homage, shed tears for Puneeth

Telugu megastars Chiranjeevi and Venkatesh shed tears while paying their last respects to Kannada actor Puneeth Rajkumar in Bengaluru on Saturday.

Both the actors reached Bengaluru along with actor Srikanth and comedian Ali to pay homage to the young actor who succumbed to cardiac arrest on Friday.

They placed wreaths on the body and consoled the actor’s elder brother, Shivrajkumar.

Chiranjeevi said: “We miss you Appu (Puneeth). God has taken you because you were a good person. May the Almighty give strength to your family. May your soul rest in peace. Whenever we came to Bengaluru, we visited Rajkumar’s family. We got used to it. It was a good experience. Puneeth was a genuine person with a good heart and soul.”

Srikanth said: “Puneeth was a down to earth person who respected elders. We are going to miss him. I worked with him in the movie ‘James’. All Telugu heroes respected Puneeth. ‘James’ was supposed to be dubbed in Telugu, therefore, Puneeth had called me a week ago.”

Popular actor Arjun Sarja also paid his last respects to Puneeth.

He said: “We will always remember you. May the Almighty give strength to the family to cope with this situation. Puneeth was a fitness freak. How it happened to him is a million dollar question. The government has made good arrangements,” he said.

Meanwhile, Puneeth’s elder daughter Dhruthi reached Bengaluru from New York and broke down in front of her father’s body. The sight of his two daughters holding their mother while crying in front of the body of their father was heart wrenching.

Suresh Babu’s call on Drushyam 2 Release

Victory Venkatesh is done with the shoots of two remakes: Naarappa and Drushyam 2. Naarappa headed for a direct digital release and Drushyam 2 is expected to release soon. After the recent Telugu movies did well at the box-office, Suresh Babu considered a theatrical release for the film. But with a bunch of films releasing during Dasara and the ticket prices issues in AP, Suresh Babu took a call on the release of Drushyam 2. The film will have a direct digital release through Disney Plus Hotstar.

An official announcement about the same along with the release date is expected soon. Suresh Babu and Venkatesh decided for a safe bet after they are being offered a whopping amount. Drushyam 2 is directed by Jeethu Joseph. Venkatesh and Meena played the lead roles in the film. Suresh Productions and Aashirvaad Cinemas are the producers.

Change of plans for F3

Talented writer and director Anil Ravipudi is all set with the sequel of F2 titled F3. All the lead actors Venkatesh, Varun Tej, Tamannaah and Mehreen will reprise their roles from the original. The shoot of the film is kept on hold due to the second wave of the pandemic and Varun Tej wanted to complete the shoot of his boxing drama Ghani. Venky too wanted to take a refreshing break and the shoot of F3 will commence from the first week of October. The entire second half of F3 will be shot in a single schedule. The makers initially wanted to shoot the pending portions in Mysore but the situations are not favorable.

The makers also had plans to erect a special house set for the film. But the plans are changed. The rest of F3 will be shot in the prestigious Taj Falaknuma Palace in Hyderabad. A long schedule is planned and most of the pending shoot will be wrapped up in Falaknuma Palace. Devi Sri Prasad is the music director and Dil Raju’s Sri Venkateswara Creations are the producers. The film is aimed for release during Sankranthi 2022. Anil Ravipudi revealed that F3 will have double entertainment throughout the film.

Venky changes plans for Drishyam 2

The discussion about the third wave of coronavirus took a backseat after there are no traces of the rise in the new cases in the recent weeks. The people are now habitual to the word coronavirus and the new cases which are reported across the nation. Tollywood audience are rushing to theatres to watch the films though some of the family crowds are not ready to take the risk. Trade analysts and the distributors predict that things will be extremely good by Dasara season. A bunch of films are heading for release during the holiday season. Nandamuri Balakrishna’s Akhanda is planned for October 13th release but it may not hit the screens because of the stake involved.

Venkatesh is done with the shoot of Drishyam 2 and the makers are in talks with Disney Plus Hotstar for a direct digital release. After analyzing the current situation, Suresh Babu is keen to release Drishyam 2 on October 13th if Akhanda fails to hit the screens. The final call on the release will be taken before the end of this month. Jeethu Joseph directed Drishyam 2 and Venkatesh, Meena played the lead roles. Maha Samudram, Most Eligible Bachelor, Kondapolam and Rowdy Boys are the other films that are in Dasara race.

Victory Venkatesh is keen to make his debut in the digital space and his home banner Suresh Productions staged a hunt for the right script. The latest update says that Venkatesh and his nephew Rana Daggubati will team up for a web series that will be shot in Hindi and will be dubbed into all the Indian languages. Venky’s brother and filmmaker Suresh Babu confirmed the news about the same. Suresh Productions in association with Netflix will produce this project.

An official announcement about this will be made soon and the shoot commences next year. Venkatesh is now on a break and he will resume the shoot of F3 from September. The film is aimed for early 2022 release. Rana Daggubati is busy with Pawan Kalyan’s next film and has Viraata Parvam ready for release. Rana is in talks for multiple films and he is hosting several shows.

Victory Venkatesh is busy with a bunch of projects. The actor completed the shoot of Naarappa and Drishyam 2 in the recent months. Both these projects are heading for a direct digital release on Amazon Prime and Disney Plus Hotstar soon. Venkatesh will resume the shoot of F3 this week and a major schedule of the film is planned in Mysore. Venkatesh is in talks to remake Malayalam blockbuster film Driving License and the scriptwork of the film is happening currently. Venky will take the final call after the scriptwork is done.

Venkatesh gave his nod to Trinadha Rao Nakkina’s film which was in discussion stages for two years. He suggested changes for the climax episodes and the director along with his team are making the changes. The project starts rolling next year and it will be produced by People Media Factory. Young and talented filmmaker Tharun Bhascker impressed Venky with a script and the pre-production work kick-started recently. The film is expected to roll early next year. Suresh Productions will produce this prestigious film. Venky lined up three projects for next year and the veteran actor will take the final call on which project to start first very soon.

When Venky rejected a Remake?

Victory Venkatesh is the most successful Tollywood actor and he has done an ample number of remake films. He completed the shoots of Naarappa and Drishyam 2 which are remake films. Both these projects are expected to release soon. Venky’s brother Suresh Babu watched Dhanush’s recent super hit film Karnan in a special screening even before its release. He wanted Venky to remake the film but Venky rejected the plan.

After watching the film, Venky felt that Karnan will not appeal to the Telugu audience. It is then Bellamkonda Sreenivas acquired the Telugu remake rights and signed the project. There are talks that Sreekanth Addala who directed Naarappa will direct the remake of Karnan and an official announcement will be made soon. Venkatesh will focus on Anil Ravipudi’s F3 soon after the pandemic calms down.

Tollywood is back into financial stress because of the second wave of coronavirus. With the virus severe, there is a panic situation among the people and it is clear that most of them would return back to theatres before taking up the vaccine for coronavirus. Trade analysts feel that there would be no releases this year though the shoots would commence at a later date. Some of the filmmakers are in talks for a direct digital release and the deals will be closed soon.

Venkatesh completed the shoot of Drishyam 2 in two back to back schedules. The makers closed the deal with Amazon Prime recently and the digital streaming date would be announced soon. Nithiin’s upcoming movie Maestro completed shoot and the makers are currently holding talks for a direct digital release. The deal will be finalized soon and the post-production work of Maestro is currently going on. Dil Raju is producing Vishwak Sen’s Paagal and the makers too are in plans for a direct digital release. The deal with Amazon will be closed soon and the film will stream in June. Some other filmmakers are in talks for a digital release for their projects and there would be a lot of films heading for a direct digital release this year.

F3 fun to continue in Mysore!

After a brief gap, the shooting of ‘F3’ starring Venkatesh and Varun Tej in the lead roles is going to resume from where it was kept a dot. From April 15th, the new schedule will commence in Hyderabad and without any break, it would continue in Mysore.

This is expected to be a lengthy schedule and a chunk of episodes would be canned here. Written and directed by Anil Ravipudi, ‘F3’ is going to triple the fun which is touted to be biggest fun franchise of Tollywood.

Tamannaah and Mehreen are the female leads and Sunil is playing a pivotal role.

With Devi Sri Prasad’s music, ‘F3’ is a ‘Dil’ Raju and Shirish’s production. The makers are aiming for August 27th release.

Venky heads to Kerala

Victory Venkatesh completed the shoot of Naarappa and the film will hit the screens in summer. Venkatesh and Varun Tej are shooting for F3, the sequel for F2 and the shoot of the film got delayed after Varun headed for the shoot of his boxing drama Ghani. The second schedule of Drishyam 2 commenced in Kerala today. Most of the pending shoot of the film will be completed in this schedule that will last for three weeks. Jeethu Joseph who directed the original is directing the film and Suresh Productions, Aashirvaad Cinemas are the producers. This thriller will hit the screens in Telugu this year.

Venky’s Naarappa is a faithful Remake

Victory Venkatesh will be seen in the remake of Asuran and the film is titled Naarappa. Venky’s brother Suresh Babu screened the original for several young and top directors. He took suggestions from them before the scriptwork is wrapped up. The team of Naarappa decided to go ahead with the original. Not a single change was done for the script and the film is purely adapted from Asuran. Srikanth Addala came onto the board and he directed the film with reference shots from the original.

Even the action episodes are canned in a village in Tamil Nadu where Asuran was shot. The flashback episode is the lead actor’s fight against the caste system. Venkatesh and Suresh Babu decided to go ahead with the original episodes. The film is gearing up for summer release. Priyamani plays Venky’s wife in Naarappa. Suresh Productions and V Creations are the producers.
