TDP 2014 victory possible with Jana Sainiks only – Pawan

0

Jana Senani Pawan Kalyan is giving all indications to TDP that it cannot form the government in the coming elections without the support of their party. Senani says that it was with Jana Sainiks support only that Chandrababu Naidu could form the government after 2014 election. At that time, Jana Sainiks voted in favour of TDP and filled a gap of nearly 12.5 per cent vote share. With this, TDP could win the election with just 2 per cent vote margin.

This is the argument being put forward by Pawan Kalyan these few days. He has already asserted that no party will be able to form the government in AP on its own. Jana Sena’s aim is to make its presence felt by getting its maximum possible vote share without bothering about post-poll alliances. Pawan dismisses rumours that Jana Sena is so far just a show of youngsters who are not experienced in electoral politics.

Vowing to prove his critics wrong, Jana Senani says he will strike a balance in all aspects of running the party and giving party tickets so that women will also get greater chances. Pawan says the TDP which has won in 2014 with Jana Sainiks support is now filing bind-over cases against them.

Is Pawan Kalyan’s philosophy practicable in today’s politics?

0

With each passing day, Jana Senani Pawan Kalyan is becoming more and more philosophical. This came as a total shocker to political circles all over. Many thought Pawan would sharpen his counter strategies against rivals once the election season begins. But this is not happening by all accounts. The actor-turned-politician is still talking about ideals, inspiration and motivation from people that will make the party stronger.

But the right kind of motivation for any political party ahead of election is how it is forming strategies on selection of right candidates. This should be done based on a study of the strengths and weaknesses of candidates of rival parties. While the TDP and YCP are going ahead overcoming their problems on this count, Jana Senani is not making enough progress. He is depending on fresh talent and young leaders.

Now analysts say if Jana Sena is not careful about putting up strong candidates having money, caste and muscle power, it will not be able to give even a reasonable fight in most segments. It means there will not be triangular contests as expected. Even in Godavari districts, the scene will be dominated by two-way contests between TDP and YCP.

Pawan Kalyan fans vandalise Konda Reddy Fort

0

Konda Reddy fort in Kurnool, a National Monument, was subjected to vandalism by fans of movie star turned politician Pawan Kalyan at a meeting held by the Janasena party on Sunday.

Over one thousand people barged into the fort climbing its walls and barricades and brandishing Janasena flags. More than 200 flower pots were crushed and steel railings were found twisted and benches had been damaged causing a loss of an estimated Rs.1 lakh. A case has been filed in the II town police station.

The Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) said the 12th-century monument was already in a weak state, and if subjected to such rough use it could cave in. An ASI official expressed his surprise that the Konda Reddy fort was chosen as the venue for the meeting and demanded to know how the officials granted permission for Pawan Kalyan’s meeting near the fort.

The local authorities failed to assess the venue’s suitability for the meeting. An ASI official said that the lawns were destroyed and lights were damaged. The fort has 5 regular workers to take care of its upkeep. 10 more temporary employees were hired to tackle the crowd.

An ASI official alleged that there are only two policemen sent to help, who did next to nothing in controlling the crowd. The ASI official said, “We were no match for them.”

The irony is that Pawan Kalyan spoke high of Konda Reddy fort and said that if the fort been in Greece or France, it could have become a heritage structure.

Janasena will encourage new generation of leaders in 2019 elections: Pawan

0

There has been discussion about senior and experienced leaders not joining into Janasena and consequences of that on the prospects of Janasena. Some analysts opined that these experienced leaders are not even considering Janasena party. However, there was some inside information that, Pawan Kalyan himself is not keen on joining these senior leaders and there are some specific reason for that.

Click here: https://www.telugu360.com/this-is-the-reason-for-pawan-kalyan-not-preferring-experienced-leaders/

Today, Pawan Kalyan confirmed almost the same as he told that he wants to encourage new generation of leaders through janasena party. He added that , some families have very strong hold on Kurnool politics and janasena will fight them with young generation of leaders. He told Janasena will field in the leaders of the age 25 – 30 years against those senior leaders. He urged youngsters to vote keeping in mind their own future in next 25 years.

Pawan Kalyan also added that, while selecting leaders he will look for the characteristics like commitment for service to the people and courage confront the issues. He also told that, this young leaders should have capability of winning at least 10,000 votes on their own without any party support. We are looking for such young leaders, Pawan added.

Pawan clarified that, it doesn’t make any sense for him to ask people to vote for janasena by just pulling the senior leaders of other parties into Janasena. he told he may need some senior leaders to run the party but his main intention is to encourage the young generation of leaders.

We will have to wait and see how far this strategy will work out in AP politics.

Pawan wants to play king-maker role in AP?

0

Loud and clear message is sent out by Jana Senani during his Kurnool tour. Pawan Kalyan is undoubtedly confident that his party will play a king-maker role in Andhra Pradesh politics right from 2019 election. This is what makes him issue statements like there would be no future politics in both Telugu states without the strong presence of Jana Sena. He is probably aiming at maintaining equal distance from the mainstream parties so as to get a better bargaining deal for his party.

Pawan is also saying only alliance governments are better for the state and the country. Single-party regimes are not delivering the right kind of results and services. There is an element of bias and discrimination. In respect of coalition governments, there will be justice to more sections of society. Jana Senani is waiting and working for this kind of sound democratic principles where no single party will try to walk away with all the benefits.

Jana Senani is assuring voters that he will not become that kind of a leader who will want his son to become the chief minister of the state. He also mockingly says that he is not like Jaganmohan Reddy who wants to get into and remain in CM post for the next 30 years in AP.

Pawan Kalyan hits back at YSRCP and TDP for false allegations

0

Pawan Kalyan today condemned the allegations of YSRCP and TDP through this social media account. It is known news that recently Sakshi published a story that Janasena is all set to have an alliance with TDP in 2019 elections and as part of the deal, Janasena will be given 25 MLA seats and 3 MP seats. However, many people did not believe the story given by Sakshi given its credentials on political news. But some people were expecting Pawan Kalyan to condemn the news. Pawan Kalyan in a series of tweets lambasted both TDP and Ysrcp for their false allegations on Janasena.

TDP and YSRCP joining hands to damaged reputation of Janasena:

Pawan Kalyan tweeted that, ” TDP says JSP is a partner to YCP and BJP; Now YCP says JSP is a partner to TDP. When I meet Sri KCR in Rajbhavan TDP says I am with YCP & TRS. When you truly work for people you have to face the music from all sides.” He also added that both TDP and ysrcp together trying to damage the reputation of Janasena party. He tweeted, ” One senior Political observer told me that, both ‘TDP & YCP joined hands to damage the reputation of JSP by constantly planting stories.”

I don’t have paper and TV:

He also expressed he doesn’t have the might of media as he doesn’t have his own channel and paper. He tweeted,
“I wish I could have my paper and TV channel to fight back.” He added that his fans and cadre of his party are his channels. He tweeted, “But I am inspired by the path of Late ‘Sri Kanshi Ram’ establishing BSP without any channel and newspaper. My Janasainiks are my channels and newspapers.”

They want me to support them but not be independent:

Even though TDP and YSRCP do not officially agree that they are desperate to have an alliance with Janasena, it is very well known news that both the parties have tried hard to woo Pawan Kalyan on their side. In fact Pawan Kalyan himself told that YSR CP is trying hard to have aliens with them through TRS party leadership. now he told that both the parties will continue to spread such false stories on Janasena until elections. He tweeted, “I want people to prepare for more stories as the election dates come nearer.”

he added that they don’t want Janasena to be an independent party but to support one of them. He tweeted, “For all these stories to stop ‘what they expect me to do is to support these parties but not be independent. Maybe I am a small pawn in the game of political chess, but established political classes should remember ‘ I am a soldier ’ who’s is willing to fight.”

From tomorrow he will be touring Rayalaseema region. We will have to wait and see what kind of sharp comments he will make on YSR CP and TDP during this tour.

Will third front emerge in Telangana?

0

Hyderabad: With an objective to leverage cadre strength in Telangana, Left parties are planning to emerge as a potential third front. However, realising on their weakness to transform the support into votes, CPI and CPM are wooing Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan to make inroads into Telangana. According to sources, both the Left parties are doing their best to get Pawan Kalyan in their stride for the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections.

CPM is gearing for Assembly and Lok Sabha elections in Andhra Pradesh along with Jana Sena. Along with Pawan Kalyan, CPM is organising several dharnas and public meetings demanding special category status (SCS) for AP.

Coming to CPI, which was part of Prajafront in the recent Assembly elections held in December 2018 in Telangana, the communist party doesn’t want taste the same bad experience with the Kutami and wants to forge an alliance with Pawan Kalyan, said a senior leader.

“CPI is moreover not satisfied with the functioning style of Congress and realised that it can’t match KCR charisma and strategies. Hence, it’s looking to Jana Sena,” remarked the CPI leader.

CPI also attributes the reason for the delay in seat sharing, to the dismal performance of Prajafront in Telangana as TRS had taken every advantage of this.

Pawan Kalyan turns keen on Rayalaseema

0

Hyderabad: Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan will be touring Rayalaseema region from February 21 onwards. He will interact with party cadres and local leaders during his three-day tour in Kurnool from February 21 to strategise on party plan for the district.

Pawan Kalyan is focusing on backward region Rayalaseema and would meet farmers to discuss on proposals on uranium and steel industry and their impact on agriculture and local environment. An interaction with farmers under KC Canal ayacut has also been scheduled in the Pawan Kalyan’s tour programme.

After Kurnool, the Jana Sena chief will visit Chittoor during February 28, March 1 adn 2.

Jana Sena party has recently set up constituency-wise five Lok Sabha committess in Telangana. These five committess have already started working in Karimnagar, Adilabad, Hyderabad, Mahbubnagar and Nagar Kurnool Lok Sabha constituencies. Jana Sena party leaders Hariprasad, Riyaz Khan, Mahender Reddy and Madasu Gangaram are members of the screening committee, which will submit the list of potential candidates to Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan soon.

A member of the committee said that more number of applications are pouring in for Assembly constituencies when compared with Lok Sabha seats.

Pawan Kalyan said that the party would receive applications till February 21 and will finalise the list this month end. Jana Sena will maintain social equations in the selection of candidates as the screening committee is also well balanced as it represents all sections of the society, remarked Pawan Kalyan.

Stalemate over Jana Sena, Left seat sharing continues

0

Hyderabad: The suspense over seat sharing between Jana Sena and Left parties has been continuing as Pawan Kalyan is still silent over it. CPI and CPM parties want to contest in 30 Assembly constituencies each in the forthcoming polls in Andhra Pradesh.

Jana Sena has initiated process of screening potential candidates for Lok Sabha and Assembly constituencies. Pawan Kalyan has set up a screening committee as well and several aspirants have started submitting their applications. However, there’s no talk of seat sharing with Left parties at the Jana Sena office. On the other hand, Left parties are announcing in the press conferences that they would get 30 seats under the poll alliance.

Communist party cadres are in dilema over seat sharing as Jana Sena aspirants from all the 175 Assembly and 25 Lok Sabha constituencies. A source said that “Jana Sena is accepting applications from all the constituencies. If Pawan Kalyan is keen on alliance with Left parties, then he should have avoided accpeting applications from select constituencies. But, it’s not happening. Let’s see the outcome in the next few days.”

Both the Left parties are not approaching Pawan Kalayn for seeking clarity on poll alliance. Instead, Left parties are just waiting for a call from Pawan Kalyan, while indicating their intention of getting 30 seats each often at the media interactions.

Package politics – Can Pawan overcome allegations?

0

Rival parties are trying to hit at Jana Sena Party where it hurts the most. Any shortage of right strategy will no doubt cost heavily for Pawan Kalyan now. Amid this, allegations of package politics are coming to the surface once again against Jana Senani ahead of the coming election. This propaganda is going on silently with Jana Sena unable to counter it effectively due to lack of a well-placed organizational structure in nook and corner of the state.

The rival leaders are using 2014 polls as the basis for spreading allegations of packages. Why did Pawan support Chandrababu Naidu at that time when he was opposing corruption? The Jana Sena leaders are struggling hard to answer this. Their argument is Pawan considered Naidu a better option than Jagan. Pawan’s brother Naga Babu voiced same opinion. Jana Sena is forced to defend itself on such allegations at a time it should have launched a strong offensive to counter opponents.

Both the TDP and the YCP are well established in urban and rural parts. Their silent campaigning is hitting Jana Sena the hardest in the crucial months ahead of elections. The charges of package deals against Pawan are one of major points of discussion among common voters. Jana Sena indeed is running out of time to change election debates in its favour by finetuning its strategies on issues and burning topics.

YSRCP leaders and their media afraid of Pawan Kalyan factor ?

0

YSRCP party is currently inundated with several leaders and the party is almost in overflow condition. With many leaders defecting from TDP to YSRCP and a few more leaders expected to join YSRCP, one may expect YSR CP leadership to be very confident of winning the elections but it seems they are very much worried about Pawan Kalyan factor.

Is Pawan touring only in those areas where Jagan is strong?

YSR CP leaders are still targetting Pawan Kalyan and saying he is touring only those regions where YSRCP is strong and not touring the regions where TDP is strong. For example, they say, Pawan is focusing more on Andhra and north Andhra region where Kapu voters are anti-TDP and he is not focussing on Rayalaseema region where Balija voters are pro-TDP. So, they are deducing, Pawan Kalyan goal is only to ensure anti-TDP Kapu votes don’t go to Jagan and pro-TDP Balija votes not disturbed. YSRCP leaders are saying, if Pawan tours in Rayalaseema region where Balija voters are more, it would split their votes and there by damage TDP prospects.

It was surprising to see this kind of argument being put forward by not only YSRCP leaders, but also by many political analysts who support YSRCP. Even some media sections that are known for their bias towards Jagan also propogating the same idea.

Why such argument is baseless?

However, needless to say it’s myopic view on Janasena politics by some sections who believe there are and there should be only two leading groups in AP politics and any party by third group must support one of these two. The entire argument that Pawan touring only those areas where Jagan is strong itself is completely wrong. Jagan Mohan Reddy’s YSRCP, in fact, got very less seats in coastal and north Andhra region in 2014. YSRCP got only 24 seats out of 101 seats in Coastal and North Andhra region put together and in remaining 74 seats of Rayalaseema plus Prakasham and Nellore region, YSRCP got more than 40 seats. So, in fact Pawan toured in the areas where TDP is strong and didn’t tour much in the areas of Rayalaseema which is considered forte of Jagan

Overall:

It seems, Pawan Kalyan is very clear on where to focus his energies. The simple logic is this. In 2014, he toured entire state but his effect was seen more in coastal and north Andhra region, which is evident from the results that the group he supported ( TDP and BJP) got in this area. Moreover, he has been concentrating on the constituencies where PRP has done well and Janasena has good chances of winning.

This is the reason for Pawan Kalyan not preferring experienced leaders

0

Elections are hardly couple of months away and not many senior leaders are joining janasena party yet. With this, the debates started among the people that whether the senior leaders of the party are not at all considering joining Janasena party. However, as per the reports coming from janasena, there is a specific reason for Pawan Kalyan not preferring these experienced leaders into Janasena, despite them showing interest to join into janasena.

Recently MLA Amanchi Krishna Mohan told that, Pawan Kalyan did not invite him into the party despite the fact that he met Pawan four times. So, it seems, not only Amanchi Krishna Mohan but even many other leaders also willing to join janasena but Pawan Kalyan is not giving them green signal. As per the reports coming from Janasena, it is the PRP experience that is the reason behind this. During PRP, as Pawan revealed in a party meeting, almost 40 senior and experienced leaders joined PRP but all of them lost the elections. Very senior leaders like Devender Goud, Kotagiri Vidyadhara Rao, Kala Venkata Rao, who had worked as ministers earlier contested from PRP but lost the 2009 elections.

However most of the leaders who won from PRP as MLAs like Vanga Geetha, Anil, Kanna Babu are either first timers or not very senior leaders. In fact leaders like vanga Geetha defeated very senior leaders like Mudragada Padmanabham. So, Pawan Kalyan is of opinion that these new leaders work even harder than those senior leaders – who most of the times try to dominate the party leadership and also expect many tickets for their family members and relatives.

So, Pawan Kalyan is planning to field mostly young leaders and new leaders on janasena ticket in 2019 elections. We will have to wait and see how good results this strategy will bring.

Pawan Kalyan files first application seeking ticket

0

Hyderabad: Expressing his desire to contest in Lok Sabha elections, Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan has filed his application to the party political affairs committee (PAC). The PAC during a meeting held in Vijayawada has received its first application from Pawan Kalyan.

“Jana Sena party doesn’t give any value to financial background of candidates, but only commitment and moral values. The five-member screening committee will scrutinise applications. I ask all the aspirants to submit their applications to the five-member screening committee only,” said Pawan Kalyan.

Visakhapatnam former MLA Allu Bhanumanthi has joined Jana Sena party. Pawan Kalyan welcomed Bhanumathi saying that her entry will strengthen the party in Visakhapatnam constituency.

Jana Sena party has recently set up committess for five Lok Sabha constituencies in Telangana as well. Pawan Kalyan has announced Janaa Sena committees for Karimnagar, Adilabad, Hyderabad, Mahbubnagar and Nagar Kurnool Lok Sabha constituencies.

Jana Sena party leaders Hariprasad, Riyaz Khan, Mahender Reddy and Madasu Gangaram are members of the screening committee, which will submit the list of probables to Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan soon.

A member of the committee said that more number of applications are pouring in for Assembly constituencies when compared with Lok Sabha seats. “We’re receiving applications till February 21 and will finalise the list this month end. We’re confident that social equations will be maintained in the selection of candidates as the screening committee is also well balanced as it represents all sections of the society,” said a Jana Sena leader.

Will Pawan really hurt KCR in Lok Sabha polls?

0

Jana Senani Pawan Kalyan is giving indications of seriously contesting the Lok Sabha polls in Telangana. He formed executive and working committees in five parliamentary segments already. Despite this, there are doubts whether Jana Senani will maintain this seriousness till the end. The TRS, Congress and other parties are considering Jana Sena as just a spoilsport which has no winning chances but will hurt others.

The only section supporting Pawan in Telangana is youth who are not usually well organised to make a difference in polls. Like in AP, Pawan has no support from any dominant caste group in Telangana. Going by any consideration, Jana Sena has no big stakes. Yet Pawan is keen to enter Telangana polls this time under pressure from party cadres there.

In 2018 assembly polls, Pawan gave indirect support to the TRS party which came to power. Analysts say Pawan may continue to be a pro-TRS party though he will maintain a little independent functioning there. Even if Jana Sena contests alone, it may be such that the Congress and TDP will be hurt more.

AP elections: Pawan fans get priority in Jana Sena ticket allocation ?

0

Hyderabad: The selection criterion for fielding potential candidates in Assembly and Lok Sabha constituencies in Andhra Pradesh has become a cumbersome exercise for Jana Sena party. However, sources say that Pawan Kalyan fans more likely to get top priority over politicians, who joined the party of late. Jana Sena has already set up a screening committee, which has started receiving applications from aspirants.

The screening committee comprising Hariprasad, Riyaz Khan, Mahender Reddy and Madasu Gangaram, is now busy with the selection process and will submit the list of probables to Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan soon.

“We see heavy rush for Assembly constituencies when compared with Lok Sabha seats. The screening committee is receiving applications till February 21 and will finalise the list this month end. We’re confident that social equations will be maintained in the selection of candidates as the screening committee is also well balanced as it represents all sections of the society,” said a Jana Sena leader.

The latest resignation of Jana Sena party Eluru Parliamentary committee executive member Mathe Babi, the party has turned cautious in choosing candidates and addressing the dissatisfaction among aspirants and cadres. At the same time, Jana Sena party seems to be firm on disciplinary aspect when it comes to dealing with rebels.

Actor Shivaji mocks Pawan on ‘paachi laddus’ comment

5

Actor Shivaji wore a black shirt and launched anti-Modi protest standing the waters of Krishna river. He says purification of the river water is needed as PM’s arrival has made it impure and polluted. Shivaji mocked Jana Senani Pawan Kalyan and Opposition leader Jaganmohan Reddy for their not taking part in ‘Modi Go Back’ protests held all over Andhra Pradesh and for not bringing pressure on the BJP on special status and other promises.

What happened to the ‘paachi laddus’ (stale laddus) comment made by Pawan Kalyan some time ago? Jana Senani made fun of TDP for accepting special package at that time. But now why is Pawan silent and why is he not putting his demands in front of Modi during his present visit? asked Shivaji.

The controversial actor had also launched a direct attack on Jaganmohan Reddy for his silence on the special status and other bifurcation promises. Jagan says he has been fighting for AP demands for a long time and how is it that he is not fighting against Modi now? asked Shivaji. The actor defended and supported AP CM Chandrababu Naidu’s visit to Delhi to hold deeksha protest there for AP cause.

Joining of intellectuals: Will this help janasena?

2

In last couple of weeks , there have been many joining into janasena as the party was inundated with intellectuals and highly educated people. In fact people who know the names of those leaders were actually surprised by seeing them joining into janasena party. There has been debate in social media about the impact these intellectuals will make in politics and how their joining will help janasena party.

Shyam benegal, top executive who impressed Kalam and Amartya Sen

Shyam benegal is top level executive in Intel company in US. His name popped up in media when former President APJ Abdul kalam met him at US for a discussion during his visit as president of India. Shyam benegal has also shared the Dias with Amartya Sen, dalai Lama and other such eminent personalities. He gave several seminars on using technology to address the social issues of India. He has also been doing charity through his own charity institutes.

Ponraj, advisor of Abdul kalam :

V Ponraj, Ph.D., was scientific advisor to former president APJ Abdul Kalam. He has earlier floated a political party called Abdul Kalam Vision India Party (Abdul Kalam VIP) in Tamil Nadu. He now joined Janasena and he will be member of advisory committee of janasena.

Puli Shekhar, who sold his multi million dollar company:

Sekhar Puli is another NRI who recently sold his cloud based computing company to another MNC for hundreds of crores of rupees. His Asha Jyothi organisation has been helping thousands of poor students every year. He is now appointed as Central Committee for Party Affairs Chairman in JanaSena Party by Pawan Kalyan.

Pentapati Pullarao , economist, columnist and activist:

Dr. Pentapati Pullarao is an Economist, Columnist and Public Affairs Activist. Compared to others who were mentioned in this article, he is more familiar face to Telugu people as he is seen in many TV debates. He has contributed over 650+ articles to periodicals and newspapers in the last 15 years. He is also the President of Forum on Social & Human Rights. He took up the cause of displaced people and actively represented to government on the need to amend Land Acquisition Act of 1984.

Overall:

Many people and media always make a hue and cry about – politics being criminalised, and people who committed crimes and atrocities raising to top positions in politics. However, the same people and media don’t encourage when intellectuals and activists enter direct politics. Top news channel recently aired a story about possibility of actress shakeela joining Kamal Hassan party but the same channel didn’t even give scrolling when these eminent people join politics. Other top news channel that ran multiple stories on comedian Ali’s political career didn’t even bother about these people joining janasena. After some days, maybe the same channels run debates on saving politics from criminals and the need for good people with no criminal record taking up politics. Irony, isn’t it.

So, whether these people help Janasena or not is a secondary question but at least this move of Pawan Kalyan need to be welcomed.

Why are rivals not targetting Pawan ahead of polls?

0

The allegations and counter allegations are reaching a new peak between the ruling TDP, YCP and the BJP parties. The obvious reason is the fast approaching election which has spread a fever like race among contesting parties. But these parties’ leaders are not targeting Pawan Kalyan lesser and lesser with each day passing. The TDP has totally changed its tune asking what is wrong if it has an alliance with Jana Sena sooner or later.

In some quarters, there is speculation KCR will get a deal reached between Pawan and Jagan. The BJP is any how seen as a secret friend of KCR, Jagan and Pawan. But during his recent visit to AP, BJP National President Amit Shah targeted both TDP and YCP saying that both the parties were promoting dynastic, family-based politics. Shah did not mention Pawan Kalyan’s name for good or for bad.

On the part of YCP, Jaganmohan Reddy and his party leaders are also not bothering much about Pawan these days. Considering the present political situation, all the main parties are eager to have Pawan as their junior partner which Jana Senani is totally against. These parties are showing a lot of patience since they may require Pawan’s numbers after the election. Everything is possible in politics.

Janasena exposes Jagan’s ‘Kamma’ claims, at the same time proves bias of TDP

11

It is known news that Jagan recently made a statement about Chandra Babu led TDP government showing nepotism during promotions in police department as he told, “Out of 37 Circle inspectors promoted to DSPs, 35 belong to Kamma community (that Chandra babu belongs to)”. His comments went viral especially given the fact he made these comments not in AP or Hyderabad but at Election commission office in Delhi. Jagan’s comments actually got backfire in social media and even those who strongly believe existence of nepotism in TDP government also didn’t buy the arguments of Jagan. The main reason is , as always, Jagan fumbled while handling the statistics this time too.

Click here: Tweet – T360 factcheck on YS Jagan ‘Kamma’ claims

Hollowness of Jagan’s claims But caste bias exists in TDP government:

Janasena spokesperson Addepalli Sridhar responded differently on this issue. The way he responded on Jagan’s statement exposed the hollowness in Jagan’s statements and thereby his lack of knowledge and at the same time proved that nepotism does exist in TDP government. Sridhar ridiculed Jagan’s statements for lack of factual content in that and wondered who is giving him all these wrong data. He concluded that Jagan’s statement of “35 out of 37 policemen who got promoted are Kammas” is wrong. At the same time he came up with authentic data about nepotism and caste bias existing in TDP government. He read out the data of university vice-chancellors, Deans and the officials working in CMO (Chief minister office) and confirmed the caste bias shown by TDP. He did this in a TV debate and the other participants from TDP and YSRCP who participated in the same debate could not counter him. Given the fact that, in recent times, Sridhar has put TDP and YSRCP spokespersons in embarrassment by countering their arguments with proper data, now these TDP and YSRCP spokespersons didn’t even dare to comment his data is wrong.

Similar bias shown by Jagan too:

However, netizens are commenting that late YSR or even Jagan also encouraged people belonging to the same caste as theirs in party posts and government posts (in case of YSR). YSRCP, till date, got chance to nominate two candidates to Rajya Sabha and it sent Reddy candidates both times.

Click here: Rajya Sabha nominations & Caste equations – Part2

Moreover, while Jagan making the comments about the caste bias, beside him was Buggana Rajendra Reddy , and he was seen helping Jagan on these numbers. It would not be out of the context if we recall that Jyothula Nehru was denied PAC post by Jagan and the same was given to Buggana rajendra Reddy and at the time of leaving, Nehru made similar caste bias comments on Jagan.

Hyderabad: The recent meeting of Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan’s recent interaction with Telangana chief minister K Chandrashekhar Rao at Governor’s ‘At Home’ is creating ripples in political circles in both the Telugu states. Senior TDP leader and former union minister Ashok Gajapathi Raju reiterated that he doesn’t know who’s Pawan Kalyan.

Raju participated in ‘NTR A Biography’ book launch and made this sensational remark on the power star. “I don’t watch movies, so I am not aware of Pawan Kalyan. However, I know his elder brother Chiranjeevi. In fact, I know his father also. Chiranjeevi’s father met me, when I was in Excise department.”

This is not the first time, Raju made this interesting comment on Pawan Kalyan. Earlier on several occasions, Raju said he doesn’t know who’s Pawan Kalyan, who often says he campaigned for Raju in the 2014 elections. Pawan Kalyan said because of his campaign in Vijayanagaram constituency, Raju won the Lok Sabha elections.

On the other hand, former cine actress and Congress leader Vijayashanti exerted confidence that Pawan Kalayn may not be trapped into KCR’s trap.

“Pawan Kalyan is totally aware of KCR’s political agenda and I hope he has clarity over political strategies of TRS supremo. Pawan Kalyan is maintaining equal distance with all the political parties in Andhra Pradesh. TRS is trying to trap Pawan Kalyan. KCR’s only agenda for AP is to bring Pawan Kalyan and YS Jagan Mohan Reddy onto a common platform,” Vijayashanti tweeted.
