Tollywood’s hunk Rana Daggubati got married recently to Miheeka Bajaj and is on a break. The actor is eager to return back to work and he will complete his portions of shoot for Viraata Parvam first. He is in talks for Hiranyakashyapa, a big-budget mythological drama that will be directed by Gunasekhar. Rana Daggubati has been in talks with Gruham fame Milind Rau for an interesting film which is in discussion stages from the past few months.

The latest update on the project is that Rana Daggubati gave his nod after he heard the full script of the project. The film is said to be a supernatural thriller that will be shot simultaneously in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi languages. Suresh Babu along with Achanta Gopinadh will produce this interesting film. Rana Daggubati is keen to start the shoot of the film this year and complete it at the earliest after which he will start the shoot of Hiranyakashyapa.

Rana Daggubati will tie the knot today with Miheeka Bajaj in a simple and traditional wedding in Hyderabad. Rana posted a picture from his collection with his dad Suresh Babu and babai Venkatesh. They looked quite happy and wore smiles on their faces. Suresh Babu looked much traditional and Rana is spotted in a modern panche kattu look wearing a thick beard. Venky is spotted in a salt and pepper look with a white beard. The wedding will take place this morning and will have 30 guests in attendance. Rana will return back to work after the coronavirus pandemic calms down.

Rana Daggubati and Miheeka Bajaj will tie the knot on August 8th and the wedding would happen in between utmost restrictions because of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. The wedding will take place in the residence of Rana Daggubati and it would have just 30 guests. Suresh Babu and Rana Daggubati decided not to invite any celebrity from the film industry because of coronavirus pandemic. They even wanted the event to be a family affair.

All the guests would undergo coronavirus tests before the event. Sanitizers and face masks will be used at the venue. Suresh Babu is making sure that the event will take place as per the guidelines issued by the government. Rana and Miheeka decided to tie the knot in Taj Falaknuma Palace but it was later shifted to Rana’s residence after the huge rise in the number of coronavirus cases.

Suresh Babu felt that it would be safe and comfortable to have the event at home. Rana Daggubati and Miheeka will have a chance to invite limited guests because of the pandemic. The entire family members along with limited guests would attend the wedding. Rana Daggubati is on a break and he would resume the shoot of Viraata Parvam soon which is in the final stages of shoot. Rana Daggubati has Hiranyakashyapa and Ayyappanum Koshiyum remake to start soon.

Rana Daggubati’s upcoming project Viraata Parvam is in the final stages of shoot. The film is a social drama that is directed by Venu Udugula. Sai Pallavi is the leading lady and Suresh Babu, Sudhakar Cherukuri are the producers. Viraata Parvam is set in the 1990s and narrates about a political incident that turns out to be a personal rivalry. Speaking in an interview, Venu Udugula says that Viraata Parvam is a perfect tribute to women.

“Rana plays the lead and crucial role. Sai Pallavi, Nandita Das, Zarina Wahab, Priyamani and Eswari Rao will be seen in other prominent roles. Every role has its own importance and they will have a strong impact on screen. Viraata Parvam is a perfect tribute for women. Sai Chand and Naveen Chandra will be seen in other crucial roles. Ten days of shoot is left pending and we need to shoot these episodes with a crew of 300 members. Hence we are waiting for the right time to resume the shoot and wrap it up” says Venu Udugula.

Tollywood actor Rana Daggubati is also a producer and he owned an animation studio even before he made his debut as an actor. Rana says that he utilized the best out of this coronavirus break and he is quite occupied. Rana along with acting in movies is also listening and finalizing scripts for his production house Suresh Productions from some time. The actor also zeroed in four scripts for web content which would be produced by his production house in association with various digital platforms.

Rana says that the filmmakers turned smarter, creative and more efficient after the arrival of coronavirus pandemic. “People think that the film industry is sitting at home but most of them kept working online. All the pre-production works, writings happened from home and directors, writers invented smarter techniques in this coronavirus pandemic time. I am ready with a bunch of animation projects for the next two years apart from other regular projects” said Rana. The actor will soon resume the shoot of Viraata Parvam after which he would join the sets of Hiranyakashyapa and Ayyappanum Koshiyum remake.

Rana Daggubati has chosen a different path after he turned an actor. His innovative script selection surprised the young actors and Rana soon turned a pan Indian actor. He is all focused on Hiranyakashyapa, a mythological drama that is planned on a huge budget. Gunasekhar has been working on the project for four years and the entire pre-production work of the film is completed. The makers are said to have spent Rs 15 crores on the pre-production work till date. Most of the work happened in USA. Gunasekhar has been juggling between USA and Hyderabad.

Top Hollywood production house Fox Star Studios has been holding talks with Rana and the production house decided to come on to the board to co-produce the project. Fox Star Studios along with Suresh Productions will bankroll Hiranyakashyapa. Rana will be coming with a makeover and he plays the demon god and the title role in Hiranyakashyapa. The film will have several Hollywood technicians who already started working for the project. The makers are in plans to make an official announcement about the project very soon.

The Taj Falaknuma Palace is the most sought after for celebrity weddings.

Rana Daggubati’s wedding with Miheeka Bajaj is likely to be performed at the grand Taj Falaknuma Palace in Hyderabad.

Located five kilometres from Charminar, The Falaknuma Palace (Falakunma means mirror in the sky) has over 60 lavish rooms and a dining hall with more than 100 seating capacity. The marble palace, which once hosted guests like Czar Nicholos II and King George V, costs more than Rs 1 core per day. The palace was once the residence of the sixth Nizam Mir Mahboob Ali Khan after he bought it from the then prime minister of Hyderabad state Nawab Vaqra-ul-Umra.
Rana’s engagement with Miheeka was recently held at the Rama Naidu Studios.

The wedding date was already fixed on August 8. Rana’s father and top producer Suresh Babu had already announced that the wedding will be held as the Covid-19 guidelines issued by the Telangana government.

Rana Daggubati and Miheeka Bajaj are very much in love. The duo decided to get married and they got a nod from their parents. Rana and Miheeka got engaged in a private ceremony last evening. Rana shared the pictures from the event and the duo looked stunning in traditional attire with all smiles. Rana and Miheeka make a perfect couple and the wedding date will be announced very soon. There are talks that the wedding will take place in December.
