Rana who underwent surgery for his ailment is completely recovered. After staying in the USA for more than four months, he returned to Hyderabad last month. In the last one month, he had interacted with several directors and gave his dates to ‘Virataparvam’.

Rana again left for the USA for the checkup. He needs to visit his doctor in Chicago at a regular interval.

Venu Udugula’s ‘Virata Parvam’ will commence its schedule from the second week of December. The film’s cinematographer has also been changed. He has promised the director that he will not extend his stay in the USA and will definitely join the shoot from December.

Sai Pallavi can also easily allot her dates to this movie as her film with Sekhar Kammula and Naga Chaitanya has postponed its release date from February to April.

Rana Daggubati spent almost four months in USA and is recovering well. His family took utmost care of his health after he underwent a kidney transplant. Rana Daggubati returned back to India and he was busy with his film engagements. The actor is yet to join the sets of his next and he will join the shoot of Virata Parvam from December as per the update. Rana Daggubati along with his father Suresh Babu flew to USA for his medical checkup.

Rana Daggubati and Suresh Babu will be back to the city by this weekend informed a source. Rana who got operated in USA will undergo medical tests. Suresh Babu is in plans to start the promotions of Venky Mama from next week. The film features Venkatesh and Naga Chaitanya in the lead roles. The release date of the film will be announced this Saturday on the occasion of Naga Chaitanya’s birthday.

Rana Daggubati is on a break due to his ill health because of which all his projects are kept on hold. His next film Virata Parvam completed a couple of schedules and some important episodes on Sai Pallavi, Nanditha Das are canned. Rana Daggubati is yet to join the sets and the actor will shoot for the film from December. Jayakrishna Gummadi is the cinematographer of the project and after so much delay in the shoot, he moved on to his next project due to prior commitments.

The makers now roped in Dani Sanchez-Lopez as the cinematographer. Dani worked for Mahanati in the past and his work received critical acclaim. Venu Udugula is the director of Virata Parvam which happens to be a social drama and is produced by Suresh Productions, SLV Entertainment. The film releases during summer 2020.

Rana Daggubati is also dubbing for Haathi Mere Saathi which will release in Telugu, Hindi and Tamil languages. Rana himself is dubbing in all the three languages. Along with these, Rana Daggubati is in plans to produce a bunch of films which are in various stages of pre-production. On the whole, Rana Daggubati returned back to work and is spending busy time juggling between various projects.

Rana Daggubati is cured of his ailment. The treatment that he took in the USA has worked well. He is healthy and hale. To prove his detractors wrong, Rana is spending his time more active and is coming out in the public space.

In the last week, he appeared at an event at Telangana government’s T Works, aggressively promoted Hyderabad FC, and also was present at Ashok Galla’s launch. He was seen working with the same energy. There is no doubt to say that Rana is recovered.

He will now work in action stunts of ‘Virata Paravam’, his next film. The film is set to begin its shoot in the first week of December. There will be many shootouts in the film as it is set in the backdrop of the Naxals period in 1980/1990s in Andhra Pradesh. Rana reportedly plays the role of a naxal leader.

Tollywood’s macho man Rana Daggubati signed a periodic action drama titled 1945 which is planned on a massive budget. The film started rolling last year but there are no traces about the project. After spending more than three months in the US for treatment, Rana Daggubati is excited to be back in Hyderabad. He returned to India on October 9 and stayed in Mumbai for five days. He is now back in Hyderabad and received a warm welcome from family members.

He may not immediately join the shooting. The team of “Virata Parvam” has been waiting for his arrival but he will not join the shoot this month. He will take the rest further.

Finding dates of Sai Pallavi is also another problem as she has moved on to other assignments. Sai Pallavi completed her portion of solo scenes for the movie. She will have to shoot with Rana. Till the clarity comes, Rana will relax at home and spend time with family and friends.

Speculations started that the actor is not well and it takes months for the actor to recover from his health issues and return back from USA. Rana Daggubati took his official social media page to clarify about his return. The actor said that he would land in India in the next 72 hours which is big news for his fans.

Soon after his return, Rana Daggubati will start shooting for Virata Parvam directed by Venu Udugula. Rana Daggubati will also focus on the pre-production work of Gunasekhar’s Hiranyakashyapa. Rana is in plans to announce a bunch of films on his production house in October. More details awaited.

Rana Daggubati is one actor who has been in hunt for interesting roles and films. He is currently in USA and will return back home this month. Rana will get back to work with Virata Parvam and will wrap up the film in back to back schedules. With the going updates, Rana Daggubati signed a horror film that will start rolling from November. Gruham fame Milind Rau was in talks from the past one year and he worked on an interesting script.

Rana Daggubati recently gave his nod for the film which will be shot in Telugu and Tamil simultaneously. Achanta Gopinadh is the producer and this untitled film revolves around black magic. Milind Rau is busy finalizing the actors and technicians.

Telugu superstar Rana Daggubati has signed up as a co-producer of the anticipated and upcoming biopic on Sri Lankan spin legend Muthiah Muralitharan.

Actor Vijay Sethupathi was earlier roped in to play the former Sri Lankan cricketer, who is one of leading wicket-takers of the world.

Rana will co-produce the film along with Suresh Productions, in association with DAR Motion Pictures.

“Suresh Productions and I will associate with DAR Motion Pictures in telling the story of a legend through a legendary actor — Vijay Sethupathi — as Muthiah Muralitharan,” Rana said.

The project will go on floor from December.

On being signed for the project, an excited Sethupathi said: “I am happy to be associated with the Muthiah Muralitharan biopic; he is an iconic sportsman of Tamil origin and someone who has made his mark across the world. Portraying the role of Murali is going to be a challenge for me and I am looking forward to it. I am delighted that Murali himself will be closely involved with the project & guiding me on the cricketing aspects. I am thankful to both Murali and the producers for the faith bestowed on me.”

The yet-untitled film, which will be made in Tamil, and released in multiple languages, will be directed by MS Sripathy. The other cast and crew details will be revealed soon.

“Baahubali” star Rana Daggubati has rubbished reports claiming that he is in the United States for a kidney transplant.

“I am currently in the US for a few weeks to research about (my next project) and meet a few visual effects companies for special effects for one of my upcoming project,” Rana said, adding: “I am scheduled to visit Technicolor’s Pre Production facility and working with digital domain on ‘Hiranyakashyap’.”

Speculations were rife that Rana had lost weight owing to a chronic kidney problem, and that he is in the States for transplant.

In Bollywood, the actor has “Housefull 4”, “Haathi Mere Saathi” and “Bhuj: The Pride Of India” coming up, besides “Virataparvam” in Telugu.

Now, the latest buzz in media circles is that Rana Daggubati is in talks for a multi-starrer film to be directed by Ranjith PA of Kabali fame. Reportedly, Ranjith is planning a biopic on legendary tribal freedom fighter Birsa Munda. The film chronicles the inspiring journey of the tribal leader who led many revolutionary movements for upliftment of tribes before independence.

Ranjith is in talks with actors Rana, Arya and Satya Raj for this interesting biopic. More details about this project are likely to out very soon.
