The latest news is that Sujeeth signed an action thriller for top production house Zee Studios which would be made in all the Indian languages. The script work of the project is completed and the cast, crew members are finalized.

The film hits the floors during the second half of this year and will have its release in 2022. Sujeeth says that this film will be high on action, entertainment and has a strong emotional drama. Zee Studios is shelling out a huge budget for this stylish action entertainer.

Sujeeth missed the opportunity very soon as his narration failed to impress Chiranjeevi. Sujeeth is now considered to direct Chatrapathi remake in Hindi and Sujeeth replied with a no.

Bellamkonda Sreenivas will reprise the role of Prabhas from the original and the makers are in plans to rope a South Indian director to helm the project. Sujeeth was not interested in a remake and he is working on a script. UV Creations will produce Sujeeth’s next. Once he is done with the script, Sujeeth will narrate it to a young actor and the project is expected to roll next year. The makers of Chatrapathi remake are now in plans to approach Prabhudeva to direct the project. More details will be announced officially soon.

Young director Sujeeth bagged a golden opportunity to work with Megastar Chiranjeevi and he is locked to direct Lucifer remake. He left Megastar in a deep shock after the top actor was left disappointed with the narration of Sujeeth. The plans to remake Lucifer are currently kept on hold as Chiranjeevi could not find the right director who can helm this political drama. Sujeeth took a small break and he returned back to work again.

Though Sujeeth is disappointed, he moved on to his next project. He is currently working on a script and UV Creations will produce this project. Gopichand and Sharwanand are the considered actors for the film. Sujeeth already got the initial nod from Vamshi and Pramod of UV Creations and he started working on the draft. He will take a couple of months to complete the script after which he will start the narrations.

Prabhas’ Saaho has set the cash registers ringing at the worldwide box office in its first week despite low ratings from critics. Director Sujeeth interacted with media for the first time after the film’s release and shared his working experience and the feedback he received from various corners of the country. Sujeeth is very amazed with the reception of the film in states like Bihar where it is running with packed screens.

Reacting on the slew of poor reviews that followed the film’s release, Sujeeth said he has immense respect towards critics and reviewers. He said the same reviewers praised his debut film Run Raja Run and made it a blockbuster at box office. He added it is their duty to analyse the film and give an opinion about it. He also suggested that review writers should have waited for some more time before giving their feedback on big ticket films like Saaho as the play a significant role in bringing neutral audience to theatres. There are many instances when reviews helped good films perform well at ticket windows, concluded Sujeeth. He also laughed off rumours that the story of Saaho was lifted off from French film Largo Winch.

Saaho is Sujeeth’s second film in his career. The film received huge patronage from North audience and appreciation poured in for his stylish narration.

The pre-release event of Prabhas’ much awaited film Saaho took place in Ramoji Film City this Sunday amid huge fanfare and flamboyant arrangements. SS Rajamouli, VV Vinayak, Dil Raju, Allu Aravind and the core team of Saaho graced the event.

Speaking at the event, Prabhas thanked each and every technician for putting in a lot of efforts to bring out the best output for audience. He also appreciated the entire supporting cast for being a part of this magnum opus. He appreciated director Sujeeth for handling such a big project and huge star cast with a lot of ease.
Talking about his co-star Shraddha Kapoor, Prabhas showered praises for her dedication and support throughout the journey. She is a superb performer and did excellent job in action sequences, added Prabhas. About the producers, Prabhas said they would have easily made a profit of 100 Crores if they had wanted, but they didn’t compromise and went all out to make this a grand project.

Director Sujeeth praised Prabhas to the sky for his conviction and belief on his direction skills. He lauded the hard work of Shraddha Kapoor and her efforts to learn every line in the script and rehearse it before coming to sets the next day. He commended the technical team for ensuring that every frame is rich and grand. He also thanked the producers for trusting him and putting a lot of money to make this a pan-India film.

Rebel star Krishnam Raju wooed die hard fans of Prabhas and said he is very confident that Saaho will reach the high expectations of audience. Star producer Allu Aravind said that Baahubali formed the base for big ticket films in Tollywood and also took a Telugu hero to national level. He also appreciated director and producers for having bringing such a grand film to audience.

SS Rajamouli revealed that Prabhas believed in the story rather than going for big directors after the grand success of Baahubali. He said Sujeeth stunned everyone and cleared all doubts with the first look. He added that Sujeeth handled the film like a pro and said he is the backbone of Saaho.

‘I’ve never compared myself with Rajamouli sir’

One of the most negative thing that is heard about Saaho in recent times is director Sujith Reddy comparing himself to legendary Rajamouli. This is because he is carving a film with Prabhas soon after the Baahubali franchise. Post the stupendous success of Baahubali franchise, actor Prabhas is not only the most sought after artist in film industry, but he is also the next big thing for various brands. Many popular brand makers are keen to rope the macho star to endorse their products.

During one of his recent interviews, Baahubali director SS Rajamouli revealed that Prabhas has turned down a brand endorsement offer worth 10 Crores after the release of Baahubali 1 as he wanted to focus completely on the film’s​ second part. He has only endorsed Mahindra XUV.

According to the latest media reports, Prabhas has now said no to a whopping 18 Crore deal. It is learnt that the actor was recently approached by one of the largest brand makers in India to promote their products, but he has not second thoughts to reject the plump offer. Close sources to the actor revealed that he wants to concentrate on his upcoming trilingual film Saaho which is being made on a staggering 150 Crore budget. So, he doesn’t want to shift focus onto brands at this moment of his career.

After appearing in career – altering roles in Baahubali 1 and 2, actor Prabhas is all set to commence shooting for his next project which is being helmed by director Sujeeth, who is just one film old. This project was okayed even before the first part of Baahubali released.

Going back on how the project shaped up, Sujeeth revealed some interesting stuff to a leading news daily.

After Scoring a super hit with his debut film Run Raja Run, Sujeeth became the most sought after director in Tollywood. During the success party, Prabhas met Sujeeth and asked the latter to come up with a good script that matches his mannerisms.

Sujeeth, who didn’t take Prabhas’ word on a serious note, worked halfheartedly and delayed the script work several times. Displeased with Sujeeth’s relaxed approach, Prabhas scolded him for not taking his request seriously. This is when Sujeeth started working on the script and surprisingly he conceived the second half of the script while reaching Prabhas’ house for narration.

Sujeeth also revealed that it was Prabhas who insisted me to direct the film while he was thinking of selling the script and screenplay to the producers.

The film has been titled as Saaho and it will be made as a multilingual film with a staggering budget. The recently released teaser has stunned the audience and augmented the expectations on the film. Prabhas will join the sets in July.

Actor Prabhas, who is finally relieved of the “Baahubali” franchise after spending nearly five years of his career, says he will now shift his full focus to his upcoming two Telugu projects.

“I have a film each with directors Sujeeth and Radha Krishna. I might work on both these projects simultaneously. We will commence work on Sujeeth’s ‘Saaho’ from next month onwards. My full priority is on completing these projects,” Prabhas told IANS.

Asked about the possibility of signing a Hindi project, he said: “If something really interesting comes my way, I might do it. Right now, I only have these two Telugu films.”

The teaser of “Saaho”, a high-octane action film, was released with “Baahubali 2: The Conclusion”.

Sujeeth’s film is slated for release next year.

Radha Krishna had previously told IANS that his film with Prabhas will be completely shot abroad.

“The entire film will be shot abroad and we are currently zeroing in on the locations. It will be a love story and we are yet to finalise the leading lady,” Radha Krishna had said.

Both these projects will be bankrolled by UV Creations.

Prabhas’s next to see major spend on action sequences

Actor Prabhas, who awaits the release of “Baahubali 2: The Conclusion”, will next be seen in a yet-untitled full-length multi-lingual actioner. The film’s director Sujeeth says major chunk of the film’s budget will be used on action sequences.

“The scale on which it is being made, major budget will be spent on some extravagant action scenes. Although it will be a commercial outing, we are attempting something new and I would like to keep that as a surprise element,” Sujeeth told IANS.

The makers are reportedly spending Rs 35 crore on a single action sequence.

“Honestly, we haven’t set aside the budget yet. As I said before, we will spend lavishly on action,” he said.

Although he remains tight-lipped about Prabhas’s character, Sujeeth says that the film will be very stylish.

“It will be as stylish as a James Bond film. When it comes to emotions and drama, it will be handled in a way it appeals to everybody,” he said.

International stuntman Kenny Bates, popular for his work on films such as “Die Hard” and “Transformers”, has been brought on board.

“Kenny will be supervising the action scenes. We have already finalised locations in Abu Dhabi and some places in Europe where shooting will be done extensively. We go on the floors from the end of May,” he said.

A special teaser of the film will be attached to “Baahubali 2: The Conclusion”.

“We will announce the title with a poster on April 23. The teaser will be released in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil and Malayalam with “Baahubali 2″ in theatres. It has come out very well,” he said.

Asked how they cut a teaser without even going on the floors, Sujeeth said: “We shot for one day. I have spent the last two years of my life prepping for this project. Working on this teaser was equivalent to work on a film for me. Work on the teaser is currently underway in Mumbai.”

The movie has music by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy. While Sabu Cyril will take care of production design, Madhie will crank the camera.

“We wanted the music to have a national appeal. We roped in Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy because they understand north as well southern sensibilities when it comes to composing music. They have also worked in the south,” he said.
