YSRCP’s days are numbered, says Naidu

0

TDP president and former chief minister, Nara Chandrababu Naidu, on Monday made it clear that the days of the YSRCP are numbered.

Addressing an enormous public gathering at Done in Nandyal district during Praja Galam, Chandrababu Naidu asked whether there is any Chief Minister in the country who did not go to the Secretariat during the entire five-year tenure. Did Chief Minister, Jagan Mohan Reddy, build any project in the State in these five years and provide a single job to anyone, the former chief minister questioned.

In a rather sarcastic way, Chandrababu told the gathering that the people should apply colours to Jagan before sending him home like how he applied colours of his party to the government buildings with public funds. The TDP supremo expressed apprehensions that attempts are being made by this Government to grab the people’s lands through the Land Titling Act.

This Chief Minister simply mortgaged the people’s health by not clearing the Rs 1,500 cr dues to the hospitals pending under the Aarogyasri scheme, he said. Chandrababu predicted that the Chief Minister, known for spreading cooked up stories and Minister for Finance, Buggana Rajendranath Reddy, who is popular for circulating falsehood, will soon go into political reclusion.

Mr Buggana does not go to the Secretariat nor is he present at Done but always stays in New Delhi seeking loans for the State, Chandrababu remarked. “If I come back to power I am promising you all that the power tariff will never be revised and there will be no power-cuts. Also, I am assuring you all that a better Pay Revision Commission (PRC) will be declared for the government employees,” Chandrababu announced.

Promising to come to the rescue of minorities who are deceived by this Government, Chandrababu Naidu also said that he will totally resolve the drinking water crisis by taking steps to supply Handri-Neeva water to Done. The TDP supremo stated that these elections are a battle between his vision and hatred being followed by Jagan.

The YSRCP leaders are completely destroying all the systems with their arrogance and development, Chandrababu said and called upon the people to chase such leaders who ruined their lives. Under the false impression that power is permanent, these ruling party leaders are even trying to illegally grab the lands of innocent people by taking the law into their hands, he added.

Buggana must realise the fact that ruling means not going for debts nor narrating cock and bull stories, he remarked and stated that instead of strengthening the financial system this Government has mortgaged even the State Secretariat. Expressing concern that the lives of all the people in the State got totally decrepit in these five years, the TDP supremo asked whether any sector has improved under the YSRCP rule.

He pointed out that when he was the chief minister he provided a 90 per cent subsidy on drip irrigation and asked whether any such kind of subsidy is being given. All sections of people are the sufferers from the steep price hike and everyone is now getting scared of visiting even retail shops to buy essentials. Chandrababu also reiterated his commitment to provide 20 lakh jobs to the youth in the coming five years and said that if the lives of the youth should be progressed well it is possible only if the National democratic Alliance (NDA) comes to power in the State and at the Centre.

Chandrababu Naidu also promised to personally take responsibility to do justice to all the five crore people of the State and pointed out that Jagan has already expressed his inability to do anything to anyone. The TDP supremo promised to complete all the pending projects in the region once he is back in power.

Stone Attack Incident: Failed to Evoke Sympathy for YSRCP?

The Incident:

A stone hurled at Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy during a campaign rally in Vijayawada has sparked a wave of responses and speculations. The stone left a small injury on his left temple, igniting debates about the true nature of the incident.

Divergent Responses:

Pro-YSRCP media swiftly labeled the incident as an attempted murder on Jagan, with sympathizers expressing outrage and shedding tears on camera. The narrative pushed by pro-YSRCP media pointed fingers at the opposition TDP, alleging a conspiracy behind the attack.

Conversely, other media outlets, including those critical of the ruling party, portrayed the incident as a tactical move orchestrated by Jagan and his I-PAC team to garner sympathy ahead of the elections. Opposition leaders, Chandrababu Naidu and Pawan Kalyan, echoed this sentiment, questioning the authenticity of the incident and attributing it to political strategy.

Local Reaction and Skepticism:

The local populace in Vijayawada displayed a mixed response to the incident, with some downplaying its significance, citing Jagan’s continuation of campaigning immediately afterward. Others expressed skepticism, drawing parallels to a similar attack on Jagan in 2019, the truth of which remained elusive despite his five-year tenure in power.

Even outside Vijayawada, the response among general public is similar. People who are already supporters of YSRCP are sympathizing with Jagan and the people who are not supporters of Jagan are commenting that it is a ploy by Jagan. But rest of the people, who are neutral, almost ignored the incident.

Social Media Fallout:

As expected, social media became a battleground for memes and trolls, with netizens creating humorous content that further diluted the impact of the incident. The proliferation of such content contributed to the diminishing resonance of the stone attack among the public.

Sympathy Erosion and Political Fallout:

Contrary to expectations, the stone attack incident failed to evoke the anticipated sympathy wave for Jagan. Some analysts even argue that it may have inadvertently generated negative sentiment towards the ruling party. Despite efforts by pro-YSRCP media to amplify the incident, public response remains lukewarm, indicating its limited impact on the upcoming elections.

Whether a genuine threat or a strategic ploy, the stone attack incident on Jagan Mohan Reddy has failed to sway public sentiment significantly. In the midst of conflicting narratives and skepticism, the incident’s potential to influence electoral outcomes appears to be minimal. As the political equations are changing quickly, the true implications of this incident remain uncertain, leaving room for continued speculation and analysis.

Jagan’s Regime is Turning AP into Zero, says YS Sharmila

0

President of Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee, YS Sharmila, launched scathing criticism against the incumbent Chief Minister, Jaganmohan Reddy, accusing him of orchestrating the state’s descent into zero development. During her campaign, Sharmila urged voters to prioritize the Congress party in the upcoming elections, regardless of inducements offered by other political entities.

Unfulfilled Promises and Betrayal:

Sharmila lambasted Jaganmohan Reddy for his failure to fulfill numerous promises made during his tenure as the opposition leader. Despite garnering substantial parliamentary representation, the state government’s inability to secure special status has led to a stagnation of industrial growth and widespread unemployment. She accused Jagan of duping job-seeking individuals with empty pledges, highlighting his delayed and insufficient action in addressing the employment crisis. Whenever Sharmila spoke about unemployment in her rallies, she is getting more support from the youngsters.

Sharmila decried the dismal state of agriculture under Jagan’s governance, lamenting the absence of debt-free farmers and the inadequate support provided to agricultural sectors. She highlighted the sharp decline in the availability of essential commodities through ration shops, attributing it to the administration’s flawed policies. Moreover, she criticized the government’s economic measures, alleging a pattern of price hikes and insufficient welfare provisions.

Bold Comments on Jagan’s Secret alliance with some BJP leaders:

Furthermore, Sharmila condemned Jagan’s clandestine alliance with the BJP, contrasting it with Chandrababu Naidu’s transparent approach. She emphasized that sustainable state development can only be achieved under Congress’s leadership, pledging to grant special status for a decade upon assuming power. Additionally, she promised substantial financial assistance to impoverished women and the creation of durable housing units.

In contrast, Sharmila projected the Congress party as the harbinger of positive change, advocating for the victory of its candidates. She underscored the party’s commitment to inclusive development and pro-people policies, promising a comprehensive overhaul of the state’s socioeconomic landscape.

As YS Sharmila’s campaign gains momentum, her critique of Jaganmohan Reddy’s governance offers a stark portrayal of the challenges faced by Andhra Pradesh under his leadership. By highlighting unfulfilled promises, economic strain, and agricultural neglect, Sharmila presents the Congress party as a viable alternative dedicated to restoring the state’s prosperity and welfare. Even though there is no possibility of the Congress party coming into power in the state of AP, Sharmila’s efforts may improve the vote percentage for the party this time.

Lokesh suspects YSRCP planning to create disturbances in polls

0

The people of the State who had bitter experiences in the past five years in this chaotic rule are now ready to vote for the TDP allied National Democratic Alliance (NDA) with huge majority, observed TDP general secretary, Nara Lokesh, on Saturday.

The umpteen conspiracies being hatched by Chief Minister, Jagan Mohan Reddy, will not stop the triumph of the NDA in these elections, Lokesh said while interacting with the residents of Samruddhi Apartments and the nearby areas in Tadepalle of Mangalagiri Assembly segment as part of his election campaign. Maintaining that these elections are very crucial for the future of the State, Lokesh suspected that the ruling YSRCP leaders will deliberately create some trouble in these elections.

“The people should patiently bear this and exercise their franchise,” the TDP national general secretary told them. Regretting that the YSRCP Government has turned the ganja cultivation as a cottage industry, Lokesh said that during his recent visit to Coimbatore in Tamil Nadu the people there too complained that ganja is being supplied to them from Andhra Pradesh.

The pressing of the button is after raising large amount of loans, he said, adding that the ruling party is imposing a heavy financial burden on those who are receiving these benefits in the shape of taxes. During the TDP regime globally famous industries like Kia, TCL, HCL and other companies launched their units in the State providing employment to lakhs of youth, Lokesh said and pointed out that not even a single industry has been launched in the State after Jagan came to power.

Jagan, who started his rule by demolishing the Praja Vedika in 2019, totally damaged the State with his reverse rule, he regretted. But Jagan has built a palatial bungalow in Visakhapatnam with Rs 500 cr totally violating the norms and the Centre has imposed a fine of Rs 200 cr on this as there is no permission for constructing this palace, he pointed out. Thus, Jagan has wasted a whopping Rs 700 cr public money for his personal gains and housing units would have been built for the poor in Mangalagiri with the same amount, he remarked.

Promising to focus on setting up industries across the State by the coming NDA government after a detailed study on the facilities available locally, Lokesh said that Information Technology (IT) industries will be set up in Visakhapatnam, pharma companies in Srikakulam, aqua industry will be developed in the Godavari districts, electronics in Chittoor district and automobile industry in Anantapur besides promoting the defense industries in different parts of the State. “Thus, we are planning to create 20 lakh jobs for the youth in the coming five years, almost doubling the State revenue,” he added.

Stating that the goal of the TDP is to transform the State into a trillion dollar economy, Lokesh made it clear that the coming TDP allied NDA government will certainly strive hard to achieve this target.

Exposing Hypocrisy: Vijaya Sai Reddy’s Fabricated Interview

In a recent interview with a top TV channel, Vijaya Sai Reddy was faced with a question that why he never criticized Pawan Kalyan vehemently. He was also “presented” some facts(?) by that top channel that even Pawan Kalyan goes soft on Vijaya Sai Reddy. The comments made by Vijaya Sai Reddy while answering these questions became hot topic now. However, political observers opine that this is a fabricated interview with ulterior motives. Details as below.

Vijaya Sai Reddy response on these questions:

Vijaya Sai Reddy claimed that he and Pawan Kalyan are childhood friends and both of them have mutual respect for each other. This revelation came as a response to questions regarding his lack of severe criticism against Pawan Kalyan. Vijaya Sai stated that while he has criticized Pawan politically, he has refrained from personal attacks. He also showed couple of examples where he criticized Pawan Kalyan but added that he never went overboard on Pawan.

Audience Reaction:

However, this interview has left audiences stunned due to its apparent falsehoods, exposing the hypocrisy of Vijaya Sai Reddy and also the TV channel. Contrary to his claims, both Vijaya Sai Reddy and Pawan Kalyan have engaged in vehement criticism of each other in the past and the proofs for the same are present all over the internet.

Vijaya Sai’s Criticism of Pawan:

Vijaya Sai Reddy has previously made derogatory remarks about Pawan Kalyan’s mental state. He even ridiculed his fan base, and belittled his political alliances. He intentionally used the word “zero” referring to the number of MLA seats Pawan’s Janasena has in AP assembly and poked Pawan with such comments. He has even used demeaning language targeting Pawan’s community, displaying a clear animosity towards the actor-turned-politician.

Pawan’s “Suit Case Reddy” Remarks:

In retaliation, Pawan Kalyan has not held back in his criticism of Vijaya Sai Reddy, often referring to him as “Suitcase” Reddy, alluding to allegations of money laundering and political corruption. Pawan’s attack referring to the activities that Vijaya Sai Reddy takes care in Delhi were very insulting to the chartered accountant turned politician. Yet, the news channel went on to say that Pawan doesn’t criticize Vijaya Sai much.

Fabricated Interview Motive:

The timing of this fabricated interview raises questions, especially as Vijaya Sai Reddy gears up for his first direct election as a Lok Sabha candidate. As everyone knows he has been enjoying nominated post of Rajya Sabha MP till recent past. It appears that he may be attempting to soften his image among undecided voters, particularly those with a soft spot for Pawan Kalyan. The involvement of a top TV channel known for shaping and tweaking public opinion further fuels suspicions of a concerted effort to sway public perception in Vijaya Sai’s favor.

The fabricated interview not only exposes the hypocrisy of Vijaya Sai Reddy but also underscores the motive of the top channel that always supports the ruling political parties in Telugu states.

YSRCP resorting to violence out fear of defeat, says Naidu

TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu on Thursday said that the ruling YSR Congress is resorting to violence across the state due to fear of losing the elections. He said that the YSR Congress Party’s defeat is certain and people have already decided to vote the YSR Congress out of power.

He condemned the attack on TDP leader Mohan Rao in Ongole. He said that the YSR Congress leaders have attacked the TDP leader for protecting a TDP woman activist. He alleged that the YSR activists have attacked the woman for no reason. When Mohan Rao tried to protect the woman activist, the YSR Congress leaders attacked Mohan Rao too, he said.

Chandrababu Naidu alleged that the supporters of local MLA Balineni Srinivasa Reddy are behind the attack. He said that police remained mute spectators to the attack. He demanded that the SP of Prakasam take action against those who attacked Mohan Rao.

The TDP chief also lodged a complaint against the YSR Congress leaders and the Prakasam district police to the Election Commission. He wanted the EC to react and ensure that the YSR Congress does not attack the TDP leaders. He also wanted the EC to ensure that the police remained neutral and protect people from attacks.

Meanwhile, TDP general secretary Nara Lokesh demanded that the police bookcases against MLA Balineni Srinivasa Reddy’s supporters. He condemned the attack on TDP leaders in Ongole. He said that the police bookcases against the former minister’s supporters.

He said that the TDP leaders were questioning the ruling party leaders for their excess. The YSR Congress leaders have no answer to the questions. He alleged that the YSR Congress leaders were also attacking the women and children.

He appealed to the Prakasam district police to take action against those who attacked the TDP leaders. He asked the Election Commission also to take action against those who attacked the TDP leaders.

Only Jagan has become rich in these 5 years, says Naidu

In the past five years, only Chief Minister, Jagan Mohan Reddy, could make a fortune in the State, Chandrababu Naidu, former chief minister and TDP president, remarked.

Jagan has been spending Rs 15 cr every day to mobilise the crowd for his meeting through 1500 buses and from where he is getting such a huge amount, Chandrababu Naidu asked while launching the website tdpforandhra.com. The TDP supremo said that during the upcoming bus yatra in the State, Jagan accompanied by the I-PAC team will go for prepaid human angle.

Paying Rs 99,999 as donation for the TDP through this website, Chandrababu Naidu made an appeal to the people to donate freely for the party making use of the website. He felt that politics should have educated leaders rather than rich and the landlords and the TDP always moved forward with social justice for the ethical persons.

“We have given high priority for the educated to make them MLAs and MPs and the party always strived for value politics,” he said and pointed out that the TDP does not have party offices in some districts till now. The people always think about the State pre-TDP and after the TDP is formed, he said, adding that the party never built palaces on public property.

Making it clear that the TDP will move forward with a close coordination of the national and State-level BJP leaders, Chandrababu Naidu said that the YSRCP is well aware that it is losing power and thus resorted to setting on fire the Heritage papers. The YSRCP has released a fake letter online in his name that the Super-Six is withdrawn, Chandrababu Naidu said and felt that this is the goal of the Paytm and 420 batches of the YSRCP.

The phones of all the people are being tapped and a container carrying some secret matters is going to Tadepalli everyday while the vehicles coming from the Tadepalli palace move in a totally different direction, he remarked. Chandrababu Naidu said that the money earned through illegal means is being distributed outside now and even the land records of the people are being changed utilising the technology. The TDP supremo made it clear that all such illegal activities will be checked once the NDA is into power in these elections.

Jagan promises to restore volunteers’ system after elections

0

Continuing his statewide public outreach Memantha Siddham campaign, chief minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy reached Palnadu district on the 11th day of the Yatra on Monday where he started his day by holding a close and intimate interaction with the pensioners.

After speaking with the driver’s community in Tirupati, Jagan today held an interaction with old-age, widowers and disabled pension beneficiaries in the Podili area of the Darsi assembly constituency, Palnadu district. The event turned out to be a boon for the pensioners as it opened a channel of communication for them to directly inform Jagan about how the doorstep delivery of pensions has changed their lives.

The crucial interaction came at a time when more than 33 pensioners died last week due to distress caused by an inordinate delay in pension delivery as the beneficiaries toiled to collect their pensions from their Sachivalayams under the scorching hot sun. The delay in pension delivery happened after the opposition parties led by TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu complained to the Election Commission to restrain volunteers from doing doorstep delivery of pensions.

Speaking at the event, 55-year-old Patra Prabhavati from Darsi Village, conveyed her ordeal and expressed the pain she underwent to collect the pensions this month. ‘I have pain in my knees and can’t walk, but for Rs 3000 this month, I had to go from pillar to post. I was told to visit 3 places to collect the money,’ Prabhavati said while interacting directly with the Chief Minister. Furthermore, she went on to insist Jagan bring back the volunteer system after retaining the power in the forthcoming polls. She said, ‘We need a volunteer system, and we need Jagan again. All the ration, pension, and schemes were sent to our doorsteps, our MLA candidate Shiva Prasad used to come door to door to know about our well-being. Even during COVID, all schemes were delivered to our doorsteps. That’s the kind of leader Jagan is a man with a good heart.’

Responding to her request, Jagan again gave his reassurance to the people of the state and stated that his first signature after assuming office in 2024 would be to revive the volunteer system.

Not just the elderly, disabled pensioners present at the venue also expressed their views with the CM, one among them was Narsimha Rao, who said, ‘I want to remind everyone that before 2019, there was a committee called Janmabhoomi Committee which took bribes from disabled people. If we wanted pensions, we had to pay money for it. You lived up to your promise when you hiked the pension money. You also promised to send a volunteer to my doorstep as God’s messenger.’

Taking note of the pensioner’s remarks, Jagan responded by saying, ‘It’s heartening to see the widespread appreciation for the volunteer system. However, Chandrababu, who held the CM position for 14 years, didn’t even consider initiating such a system. His focus seemed to lie elsewhere – in establishing Janmabhoomi Committees, engaging in business dealings through them, and succumbing to corrupt practices. His tenure was marked by discrimination based on party affiliations. In stark contrast, reinstating the volunteer system remains a priority for us. Rest assured, my first signature upon assuming office will be dedicated to this cause.’

Addressing the gathering, Jagan further informed them that the ‘YSRCP govt is spending Rs. 2000 crore per month, which is Rs. 24000 crore per year. In the last five years, we have spent over Rs 90,000 crore on pensions, which is higher than the other states in the country. If we look at other states on their pension expenditure, Bihar is spending Rs 4,300 crore, Uttar Pradesh (Rs 5160 crore), Karnataka (Rs 4700 crore), Telangana (Rs 7,180 crore).’

Murder politics is part of YSRCP’s DNA, says Naidu

0

Observing that murder politics is part of YSRCP’s DNA, TDP supremo and former chief minister, Chandrababu Naidu, on Thursday said that Jagan Mohan Reddy, in his capacity as the YSRCP president, sought votes in 2014 claiming that his father, the former chief minister, Dr YS Rajasekhara Reddy, was murdered while in 2019 he approached the voters claiming that his paternal uncle was done to death.

“Now Jagan Mohan Reddy, as the Chief Minister of the State, again resorting to similar murder politics by not paying pension to the beneficiaries,” Chandrababu Naidu said while addressing a huge public meeting at Kovvur in East Godavari district as part of his Praja Galam. Who is the feudalist, whether the leader who has implemented 27 welfare schemes for Dalits is the feudalist or the person who has withdrawn all these schemes, he said in an oblique reference to Jagan.

The leader who filled the empty stomachs of the poor through Anna Cantees is the feudalist or who closed these cantees after coming to power thus forcing the poor to starve, Chandrababu Naidu asked. The TDP supremo made it clear that the Dalits are totally revolting against the YSRCP.

Stating that he will certainly implement all the welfare schemes not by going for debts but by creating assets, Chandrababu Naidu also promised to rebuild the State sans ganja, drugs and J-brand liquor within 100 days of coming to power. Expressing confidence that the victory is that of the TDP allied National Democratic Alliance (NDA) both at the Centre and in the State, he said that the people are not willing even to attend Jagan Redddy’s public meetings despite arranging buses for transport and even after paying money to them.

“The enthusiasm in all of you reflects the fact that you are eagerly waiting for May 13 to send Jagan home through your votes. Kovvur is the bastion of TDP but the Jana Sena and the BJP activists too should be active in taking part in the campaign. From this dais I appreciate the efforts of Jana Sena chief, Pawan Kalyan, for coming forward to save the State,” Chandrababu Naidu said.

The BJP and the Jana Sena have come forward to have an alliance with the TDP only to work for the victory of the people, he said, adding that Daggubati Purandheswari is contesting to the Lok Sabha from here while two Jana Sena candidates are part of the race of the alliance for the Assembly from here. Since the fan has come to a grinding halt and will no longer rotate, the people are aware of this fact and are getting ready to make it into pieces, Chandrababu Naidu said.

Extending support to the advocates who are fighting against the Land Titling Act, Chandrababu Naidu promised to revoke the legislation soon after coming to power. “Work hard for these 39 days and I will take the responsibility personally to bring the State back on track. The victory of all our candidates should be one-sided,” Chandrababu Naidu said.

YSR Congress mistakes are attributed to Naidu, says Bhuvaneswari

0

TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu’s wife Nara Bhuvaneswari on Thursday alleged that the YSR Congress leaders were attributing their mistakes to the TDP chief. She brushed aside the present pension issue being attributed to Chandrababu Naidu.

Bhuvaneswari visited Kadapa district as part of her Nijam Gelavali programme. She interacted with the family members of Chandrayudu, who died of cardiac arrest following the arrest of Chandrababu Naidu in the skill development case.

Bhuvaneswari said that the YSR Congress was in the habit of committing mistakes and attributing them to the opposition party. The present pension issue was one such where the YSR Congress-led government failed to provide money to be given to the pensioners. She said that the YSR Congress had emptied the exchequer and there was no money. The officials had to struggle to give the pensions to the beneficiaries, she said.

The YSR Congress is known for violence, murders, she said. The state had witnessed unprecedented violence in the last five years, she alleged. She further said that there was no law and order in the state in the last five years. The state was handed over to the YSR Congress leaders who resorted to extortion, blackmailing and looting, she alleged.

She made an appeal to the people to support the TDP-Jana Sena and BJP combine in the coming general election. She said that the state would be in peace and march towards development only under TDP rule.

Bhuvaneswari said that Naidu had brought several industries to the state and given employment to several thousands of people during his regime. The Kia Motors was one such industry brought by Chandrababu Naidu, she said.

She wanted the people to support the TDP if they wanted industries to come to the state. The industrialists were running away from Andhra Pradesh because of the YSR Congress, she said. She wanted more industrialists to come to the state and start investments. She said that the state would have an industry-friendly atmosphere only under the TDP regime.

Jagan expands the Vahana Mitra scheme to lorry owners

0

In a significant announcement during the “Driverlatho Mukha Mukhi” program with the residents of Chinna Shinganamala in Tirupati district, Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy reaffirmed his commitment to inclusivity and the dignity of every profession.

Jagan has announced that the Vahana Mitra scheme, which provides financial assistance to self-owned auto, taxi, and maxi cab drivers, will be extended to those who own trucks and lorries once YSRCP comes back to power. Eligible beneficiaries under this scheme will receive Rs. 10,000 per year, thereby broadening the scope of support to various sectors of transportation.

Furthermore, Jagan addressed recent derogatory remarks made by Chandrababu Naidu regarding Veeranjaneyu, a candidate of the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) labeled as a “tipper driver.

“Just like Veeranjaneyulu, individuals from all social classes and professions can get the opportunity to serve as legislators whenever possible. When a person from a particular profession occupies a seat in the assembly, they can advocate for the issues specific to their profession, thereby bringing them to the government’s attention. In doing so, the government can effectively address the challenges faced by individuals in that profession. Despite this being a known fact, the former chief minister, who served three terms over 14 years, has disrespected them by stating that “Jagan has given the seat to Tipper Driver and called him an illiterate who uses thumbprints.” What wrong has Jagan done? What justification do you have for disrespecting the driver? While you favored affluent individuals with tickets, I chose to empower the common man,” CM said.

“On the other hand, I’m feeling proud to let you know that a staggering 3,93,655 people have independently purchased autos and taxis, sustaining their livelihoods. Moreover, many of them are educated and have made investments in their businesses. They faced no fear of joblessness and received no external support, yet stood resolutely on their own, providing for their families. Our YSRC party offered them the recognition they deserved, granting them an identity. Obtaining a fitness certificate annually necessitates insurance coverage and regular vehicle maintenance. Without fulfilling these requirements, obtaining the fitness certificate remains unattainable. The Vahana Mitra scheme aims to lessen the financial burdens for beneficiaries, assisting them in overcoming these challenges,” the chief minister further emphasized.

Further emphasizing the purpose behind the event, the Chief Minister highlighted the aim to foster self-employment opportunities, enabling individuals to achieve self-sufficiency and support their families independently. Additionally, he underscored the accessibility of all schemes under the Navaratnalu to ordinary drivers and others, ensuring equal benefits for all.

Highlighting the impact of the Vahana Mitra scheme, Jagan revealed that 18,000 families in the district have benefited from it, receiving a total of Rs. 61 crore across seven segments.

Furthermore, Jagan encouraged people to share their suggestions and recommendations by writing them on the provided slips and depositing them into designated boxes. The Chief Minister concluded his address with a commitment to ensuring the realization of all constructive ideas for the betterment of all citizens.

“Are you ready to help me with a ‘double-century’ government?” Jagan asks people

0

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy has called the TDP Chief Chandrababu Naidu a ‘sadist’ for stopping the volunteers from delivering the pension on people’s doorstep, which irked the senior citizens and old age people, and asked the public to take revenge on TDP on May 13 (Polling Day) at the public meeting near Puthalapattu as part of his Memantha Siddham Yatra on Wednesday.

Addressing the crowd gathered in the arena, the Chief Minister said, “Seeing the elderly people suffer today since they couldn’t walk to collect their pensions, I can’t help but wonder if Chandrababu Naidu possesses any humanity or if he’s a sadist since he stalled the volunteers from disbursing the pension by approaching the Election Commission.”

He asked the crowd whether they were ready for this war to protect the future of the poor. “Go to every household and ask them if they have benefited from the welfare schemes,” said Chief Minister Jagan while noting that YSRCP would reinstate the volunteer system once they come back to power.

“This is a war between Chandrababu Naidu, who is a habitual liar and cheat, and Jagan on the other side, who does everything for the people. Are you ready to help me win 175/175 assembly seats and 25/25 Lok Sabha seats to defeat the corrupt? Are you ready to help me with a double-century government?” Jagan asks the energetic crowd.

“People gave them (TDP) an opportunity in the past to do good but did they fulfill it? Have an open discussion amongst yourselves and make a conscious decision. People should discuss what they (Chandrababu’s government) provided in their 10-year rule. Check your bank statement from earlier years. Were you able to find even a single scheme through which Naidu deposited one rupee in your account,” said the Chief Minister.

The Chief Minister also explained the schemes introduced by the YSRCP government from village secretariats, revolutionizing government schools, village clinics, DBT to women beneficiaries, Rythu Bharosa Kendras to help farmers to other doorstep delivery services to help the people.

“We are the only state which provides pensions to 66 lakh people. Further, we gave Rs 34,370 crores to the farmers (Rythu Bharosa), and free crop insurance of Rs. 7,800 crores was paid. Through input subsidy, the farmers were given Rs. 3,262 crores. And in total, only through DBT, Rs 2.7 lakh crores were directly deposited in the beneficiary accounts under various welfare schemes,” said the Chief Minister.

On the 7th day of the Memantha Siddham Yatra Chief Minister started his roadshow from Sadum Mandal in the morning and proceeded via Kallur, Damalacheruvu, Gundlapalli, Talaupulapalli, Tenepalli to Pulalapattu where he addressed the public meeting. After the meeting, he started towards the night halt at Renigunta in Tirupati via Gollapalli, Gadanki, Kongaravari Palem, and Mamanduru.

Naidu suspects YSRCP plot behind not paying old-age pension at doorsteps

0

Maintaining that Chief Minister, Jagan Mohan Reddy, is simply cheating the old by calling them as grand-parents, TDP president and former chief minister, Nara Chandrababu Naidu, on Monday suspected a conspiracy by the ruling YSRCP behind not distributing the old-age pension for them at their doorsteps.

The pension that is to be distributed to the old is being paid by Jagan to his own contractors, Chandrababu Naidu told the booth-level TDP activists through teleconference. On the other hand, Jagan for his own political gain has been resorting to mispropaganda that the TDP is creating hurdles for pension distribution which is totally false, the former chief minister told the party activists.

“In just 15 days, Jagan has diverted Rs 13,000 cr thus emptying the exchequer. The pension can be distributed in a single day across the State through village secretariat employees which Jagan did not utilise the opportunity but is passing the buck on to the TDP,” Chandrababu said. Expressing confidence that the huge turn out to the Praja Galam meetings clearly indicate that the TDP allied National Democratic Alliance (NDA) is coming to power in the State, the TDP supremo said that the people are vexed with Jagan.

“This is the reason as to why the Chief Minister has been facing stiff resistance and protests everywhere,” Chandrababu told the TDP activists. Clarifying that the TDP never made any kind of request to anyone, including the Election Commission, that the services of volunteers should not be utilised for distribution of pensions, Chandrababu directed the party activists to go to every house and give the clarification to them on the conspiracies of the YSRCP in the pension distribution besides providing the facts before them.

There is no surprise that Jagan, who is responsible for the killing of his own paternal uncle for his own political gains, does not resort to this kind of conspiracies with regard to payment of pensions to gain votes, Chandrababu remarked. “As soon as we are into power Rs 4,000 will be paid as monthly pension for all these beneficiaries,” he said and asked the party activists to explain it to the pensioners.

Demanding the State Government to come out with facts on the bill payments made to each person in the past 15 days, Chandrababu also wanted immediate steps to distribute pensions to every doorstep. The Election Commission too should initiate steps in this regard and direct the district collectors, tehsildars and other officials to take necessary measures to distribute the pension immediately, he said.

Stating that the TDP stand on the volunteers is very clear, he asked the volunteers not to work in favour of the YSRCP and assured that the party will take care of their future. “If you make any kind of mistakes at the election time there is every possibility of cases to be registered against such volunteers and thus you should be extra cautious,” Chandrababu told the volunteers through the party activists.

The TDP supremo also asked the party activists to explain to the people how Jagan is paying them Rs 10 from one hand and looting Rs 100 through the other. Stating that the YSRP is resorting to misinformation campaign due to high insecurity, Chandrababu Naidu said that the TDP, which was partner of the NDA for five years earlier, did not cause any kind of inconvenience to the Muslims. He asked them to explain to the people in detail about this issue too.

0

The 4th day of the “Memantha Siddham” bus yatra witnessed an enthusiasm and support as Chief Minister Y S Jagan receiving a heartfelt welcome in Anantapur, after concluding his roadshow in Kurnool district,

The journey commenced in the morning from the outskirts of Pattikonda, with the Chief Minister greeted by cheering crowds at every turn, leading to a delay in schedule due to the overwhelming response from the people.

As the bus entered Gooty town in Anantapur district, the streets of Gooty were flooded with an overwhelming wave of support, with people lining up to catch a glimpse of their Chief Minister as the bus journeyed through the town. The unprecedented display of solidarity underscores the deep connection between Jagan and the people of Gooty, marking a significant milestone in the region’s history. The road show continued for approximately 7 kilometers from Gooty Railway Bridge to Gooty Highway for about 2 hours, with a massive crowd lining the streets to extend a warm welcome to their leader.

Earlier at Tuggali Jagan Mohan Reddy’s Memantha Siddham Yatra continues to pull people in large numbers in Kurnool. On the fourth day of the yatra, Jagan interacted with the people of Tuggali and Ratana villages and explained the schemes implemented by the government while also receiving suggestions from the beneficiaries during the meeting.

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister said, “there are about 10,000 people in the two secretariats of Tuggali and Ratana villages. We can see the revolutionary changes brought in by our government, which didn’t happen in the previous regime, and the people should ask why it didn’t happen earlier.”

“Out of 1,748 houses (population of 5200) in Tuggali village, we have benefited 1,666 houses, i.e. 95 percent of the houses through various welfare schemes. In the previous government, whatever work was needed, whether it was toilets, pensions, or subsidized loans, without bribes it would not be possible. In 58 months, Rs. 29.65 crores have been deposited to the beneficiaries in the Tuggali village alone. Meanwhile, Ratana village with a population of 4888 people and 1,569 houses, we have benefited 95 percent of the houses where Rs. 26 crores and 59 lakhs have been deposited into the account of beneficiaries,” said Chief Minister.

The Chief Minister also listed down the scheme-wise funds distributed to the villages of Tuggali and Ratna for Ammavodi, Vidya Deevena, Asara, YSR Kalyanamastu, Pensions, YSR Rythu Bharosa which were given without bribe or discrimination.

Further, he also mentioned the number of beneficiaries in the housing scheme (66 houses to Tuggali and 122 houses to Ratana) and YSR Aarogyasri and Arogya Asara scheme, which provides free medical treatment.

The Chief Minister also explained to the people about the secretariat system with organized volunteers, and said, “RBK is a great system that takes care of farmers. The government also provides free crop insurance for every acre.”

He also talked about the revolutionary changes in the government schools where the present government implemented English medium in government schools with bilingual textbooks (one page Telugu and another side English), Tabs given to the eighth-class students, digital teaching, and so on.

“We vote in this election not just to elect an MLA or MP but for the continuation of these ongoing changes, which improve the livelihood of the poor,” said Jagan.

After interacting with pension beneficiaries, the Chief Minister said, “People should ask their family members about the pension they had received during Chandrababu’s rule and how much it was. But now, our present government is providing Rs 3000, which is not available in any other state in the country. We are spending over Rs. 24 thousand crores per annum on pensions (66 lakh beneficiaries). If we compare to other states, Telangana is in second place with only Rs. 12 thousand crores. In the previous government, only Rs. 39 lakhs were given to people.”

Take forward YSRCP success story, Jagan tells people

0

Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy called upon the people to tale forward the success story of YSRCP by giving it a clean sweep of 175 Assembly and 25 Lok Sabha seats and rejecting the anti-people combine of TDP, Jana Sena and BJP in the forthcoming elections.

Addressing a huge public meeting here on Thursday on the second day of the ‘Memanta Siddham’ poll campaign, the Chief Minister urged people to take forward the winning streak of YSRCP while showing the exit door to the opposition from politics.

For the first time in the country, the poor in Andhra Pradesh are experiencing due respect in the last 58 months, he said, adding that Government spent Rs. 2.7 lakh crore implementing various welfare schemes for ushering in their social and economic empowerment while TDP pursued the policy of plunder, stash and devour and is hatching conspiracies hand in glove with Jana Sena and BJP to exploit the people again.

Describing the sea of humanity that thronged the public meeting as the YSRCP people’s army, he said that people across the State are ready to teach a fitting lesson to the TDP-led alliance to ensure that anti-people Government doesn’t come to power again.

Listing out various welfare schemes like Amma Vodi, YSR Cheyutha, Aasara, Jagananna Vidya Deevena, Vasathi Deevena, Rythu Bharosa, Kapu Nestham, delivery of monthly social pensions at door-step and EBC Nestham, he asked the people to think why Chandrababu Naidu failed to implement similar schemes during his rule.

Telling the people that revolutionary changes took place in the last 58 months in educational, medical and health and agricultural sectors to improve educational standards of students, provide preventive health care with village clinics and family doctors and handhold the farmers at every step through RBKs, the Chief Minister asked the people to assess why Naidu failed to carry out similar reforms.
Recalling how TDP defaulted and cheated people on promises of waiver of farm and self-help group loans, Maha Lakshmi and Kuteera Lakshmi schemes, jobs for the youth and stipend for the unemployed and three-cents of house sites for the poor after winning 2014 polls in alliance with Jana Sena and BJP and distributing signed election manifestoes, he said they have ganged up again to take people for a ride once again.

Besides implementing slew of welfare schemes and reforms in several sectors, Government is also building 17 new medical colleges, four sea ports and 10 fishing harbors and brining in investments to put the State on path of development, he said, adding that new districts have been carved out and three Capitals were proposed for decentralized growth.

He told the people that, despite ruling the State for 14 years, Chandrababu Naidu did not work even to bring about a meagre five percent change of what he did in the last 58 months.

It is in the hands of people to decide whether they want the door-to-door welfare and development saga to continue for the next five years by electing YSRCP back to power or take the State backwards by 10 years by electing the TDP and its allies.

The Chief Minister said that the ensuing polls are a battle between justice led by YSRCP and injustice led by TDP and its allies and called upon the people not to fall prey to the conspiracies being hatched by TDP in cahoots with Jana Sena and BJP to deprive the poor of their welfare benefits.

It is only after YSRCP came to power that election manifestoes gained credibility, the Chief Minister said, adding that Chandrababu brand stands for cheating all sections of people.

There is nothing great about TDP or its political allies except for taking people for a ride, he said and urged them to vote back the YSRCP to power in the ensuing elections to continue the welfare and development saga.

Jagan interacts with people in bus yatra

0

Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy interacted with a cross section of people and intellectuals here on Thursday on the second day of his Memantha Siddham (We are Ready) bus yatra.

Resuming his poll campaign yatra from the Allagadda nigh halt camp, the Chief Minister spent time meeting people and accepting suggestions on the implementation of welfare schemes and improving Government functioning.

During the interaction, the Chief Minister said that he was much younger to the 75-year-old TDP leader Chandrababu Naidu and asked them to think if they had experienced the present style of administration and received the present volume of benefits during Naidu’s rule.

He asked the people if they found any transformation in their lives during the term of Naidu who claims to have an experience of 40 years in politics and 14 years as Chief Minister and told them to assess how their lives transformed during the past 58 months.

As per the details available, 1391 households (93.60 percent ) out of 1486 houses in the first secretariat and 1448 houses (95.32 percent) out of 1519 households in the second secretariat of the Yerraguntla village have received benefits worth Rs.48. 74crore under various DBT welfare schemes in the last 58 months and this is unprecedented.

While 468 persons in the village received house site pattas, construction of 144 houses is over, he said, adding that students and others also benefited under non-DBT welfare schemes.

Explaining about the revolutionary changes brought in education, medical and health and agricultural sectors, the Chief Minister told them to keep in mind that they exercise their franchise not just for electing MPs or MLAs but also for shaping their future.

He appealed to those who even did not vote for YSRCP in the last elections to think it over carefully, pointing out that their future would be safe if they vote for the ruling party.

The Chief Minister thanked the people for making suggestions through slips distributed to them and promised to look into their ideas for improving the functioning of the Government.

YSRCP leaders Peddireddi Ramachandra Reddy, Vasireddy Padma, MLA Gangula Brijendra Reddy and several Party functionaries also participated in the programme.

Jagan ammased crores in 5 years getting unwrapped now, says Pattabhi

0

Even as the issue of a drug container seized in Visakhapatnam is still afresh in the minds of the people, the currency container which began its journey on Tuesday at the Tadepalle palace has come into open, observed TDP spokesman, Kommareddy Pattabhiram, on Wednesday.

Within 24 hours of the dump of cookers, mixies, wrist watches and other enticing material which got exposed in Renigunta, the currency container issue has seen the light of the day, Pattabhiram told media persons here. The thousands of crores of money amassed by Chief Minister, Jagan Mohan Reddy, in the past five years through land, sand, mining, wine, red-sanders, ganja and drug mafia is now coming into the open, he felt.

A container with the registration number AP 16Z 0363 carrying currency notes came out of the Chief Minister’s Camp Office in Tadepalle on Tuesday which halted at around 1 pm on Wednesday at the NTR Administrative Block in the RTC Bus Stand in Vijayawada, Mr Pattabhi said. The depot clerk has taken the cardboard boxes from the container and carried them into the chamber of the officer, Mr Earning, Pattabbhi said and demanded the Election Commission officers to examine the CCTV footage of this.

Maintaining that the huge amount of cash is being counted with machines, the TDP spokesman said that an action plan has been formulated to shift this massive amount in crores of rupees across the State taking advantage of the RTC. Jagan, who has been claiming that he is ‘Siddham’ (ready), Pattabhi said and asked for what he is getting ready. Is it for transporting drugs and huge amounts of money through containers, he questioned.

Stating that if media persons and the Election Commission officials visit the area everything will get exposed immediately, Pattabhi demanded that the poll panel hold an immediate inquiry on this container issue or hand over the matter to the CBI. The APSRTC was a brand during the regime of Chandrababu Naidu, he said and regretted that the entire corporation has got totally smashed now.

Pattabhiram also demanded the APSRTC officials to clarify how such a huge amount of currency bundles have reached them when the whole nation is utilising digital currency. Despite sending any number of such containers, the people are ready to teach a fitting lesson to Jagan, the TDP spokesman noted.

TDP activists catch huge dump of ruling YSRCP material

0

In a dramatic turn of events, Telugudesam Party activists in Srikalahasti assembly constituency have caught a huge dump of material worth Rs. 50 crores related to the ruling YSRCP.

Three trucks were loaded fully with material outside the godown in old airport road in Renigunta, a small town in Srikalahasti Assembly segment. TDP activists immediately raised a complaint at around 2 PM in the afternoon on Election Commission’s recently introduced app C-Vigil.

However, Telugudesam Party leaders Bojjala Sudhakar Reddy, Srikalahasti TDP incharge,. Pulivarthi Nani, Chandragiri TDP incharge and Narsimha Yadav, TDP leader had raided the godown premises and found a notebook containing details of to whom the material was sent across the State.

The material included wrist watches with YSRCP Chief YS Jaganmohan Reddy’s picture, sarees, dummy EVMs, cookers, umbrellas, speakers, dashboard flag stands, grinders, cookers, etc, among other consumer durables.

TDP leaders allege that there are other four godowns dumped with such material to lure the voters in favour of YSRCP. TDP leaders lament about the lukewarm response from the local Election officials including district collector and district Superintendent of Police (SP).

The godown was videographed and locked by the revenue officials saying that they will come back tomorrow. Meanwhile, TDP leaders allege that local officials are working in favour of the ruling YSRCP leaders like Chevireddy Bhaskar Reddy and Biyappu Madhusudhan Reddy

No security even for Lord Venkateswara properties in YSRCP rule, says Vijaykumar

In the YSRCP rule there is no security even for the properties of Lord Venkateswara at Tirumala, TDP official spokesman, Neelayapalem Vijaykumar, said on Tuesday stating that Executive Officer (EO) of the TTD, Dharma Reddy, and chairman, Karunakar Reddy, with the unilateral decisions are giving contracts to their own persons thus mining huge amount of money as commissions.

Vijaykumar asked the EO and the Chairman as to why the details of the TTD are not uploaded on the official website and are keeping everything as a secret. On their women they have announced that the provisions of the Right to Information Act are not applicable to the TTD, he said and asked should they not disclose the details to the pilgrims who are donating huge amounts of funds to the temple.

Observing that there is no transparency in the financial matters of the TTD after Bhumana Karunakar Reddy has been appointed as Chairman, Vijaykumar said that even those issues discussed at the TTD Trust Board meeting are not being revealed. Even the Centre has been uploading all the GOs on the website, why is the TTD failing in it, he asked.

The Trust Board meetings are held once in a month generally but after Karunakar Reddy has become the chairman the meetings are held for every 15 days only to clear the contracts for their own people, he remarked. Contracts worth about Rs 1300 cr have been sanctioned within three months of Karunakar Reddy becoming the Chairman of the TTD, that too without any links with the budget only to get commissions, he said.

The son of Karunakar Reddy is the Tirupati candidate from the YSRCP in these elections In the guise of development he is now misusing the TTD funds, Vijaykumar said giving the details of the funds allocated for various works. The TTD leader expressed surprise that instead of taking stringent action against the TTD EO for misusing the funds and for violating the guidelines, Chief Minister, Jagan Mohan Reddy, has written to Union Minister, Rajnath Singh, with a request to extend the term of the EO in State service, he said.

Demanding the Election Commission to focus on this, Vijaykumar wanted the poll panel to remove the TTD Chairman from the post at least till the elections and also transfer the EO immediately.

YSRCP’s plot to project Praja Galam as failure is exposed, says Deepak Reddy

0

The YSRCP has hatched several conspiracies to project the recent Praja Kalam public meeting organised combinedly by the TDP, the Jana Sena and the BJP at Boppudi near Chilakaluripet in Palnadu district in which none other than Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, participated and the TDP is thoroughly exposing their conspiracies and is bringing the facts before public, said the senior TDP leader and former MLC, Deepak Reddy, on Tuesday.

“We have planned to organise the meeting in a grand manner in an extent of 300 acres as such meetings are not new to us. But surprisingly there was a traffic jam for over 10 km long since the YSRCP leaders directed the police not to make proper arrangements and blocked the traffic at various places in the name of checkposts,” Deepak Reddy told media persons here. What is surprising is that even after the Model Code of Conduct is in force the ruling party leaders, misusing the power, are directing the police officials to create hurdles to the meeting in which the Prime Minister is taking part, he said.

“With this one can easily imagine on what scale the YSRCP has abused power in the past five years,” Deepak Reddy said reminding the earlier attacks on the TDP supremo, Chandrababu Naidu, and how hurdles were created for the pada yatra of TDP general secretary, Lokesh, besides imposing restrictions on the movement of the Jana Sena chief, Pawan Kalyan. The people have witnessed how a common man is harassed with illegal police cases if he has raised his voice for any injustice done, he said.

The police officials are acting as bouncers and volunteers for the ruling party leaders, the former MLC said, adding that even when the Prime Minister himself has cautioned the police on the security problem, the police officials did not bother to act. This is only an attempt to make the Praja Galam a failure, he felt.

The police blocked the way of the TDP volunteers and the security personnel failed to act when the mike system too got blocked in the stampede, Deepak Reddy pointed out. The TDP leader suspected the police conspiracy behind the failure of the mike system, he said and stated that Modi has clearly mentioned during his speech that there is no development, whatsoever, in the State in the past five years. The Prime Minister compared the mike failure to the failure of the State Government due to the atrocious rule, he added.

Stating that the Blue Book clearly indicates what steps should be taken during the visits of VVIPs like the Prime Minister, the former MLC said and added that the Chief Secretary and the DGP should personally supervise the arrangements. When the Blue Book clearly mentioned this why no such action has been taken in this regard and why police officials are simply playing the role of audience, he asked.

Pointing out that when similar incidents took place earlier in Punjab, the local police officials were placed under suspension, Deepak Reddy said and demanded similar action against the officials who tried to make this programme a failure. Though the police did not allow the TDP volunteers to prevent the stampede, at least they should take measures to control the mob, he added.

It is really shameful that the police officials are still dancing to the tunes of the ruling party leaders even after the Model Code of Conduct is in force, he said and stated that the three parties, the TDP, the Jana Sena and the BJP, strongly condemn this. “We are going to report to the Election Commission on this incident against those responsible, including the DGP, the Palnadu SP and other police officials,” he said.

Observing that the TDP also will file a complaint with the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT), to the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC), and to the Union Home Department, Deepak Reddy said that those officers responsible for this be placed under suspension. The former MLC felt that despite all such efforts to make the Praja Galam a failure, it is a tremendous success and the public gathered for this meeting are equal to all the Siddham meetings of Chief Minister, Jagan Mohan Reddy.
