Advocates too are victims of Jagan, says Lokesh

0

When the advocates from Kadapa district raised several issues including false cases being foisted against them, TDP general secretary, Nara Lokesh, said on Thursday that even the advocate community too has fallen victim to the evil designs of Chief Minister, Jagan Mohan Reddy.

Terming Jagan as an extremist who destroyed all the systems in the State, Lokesh, who had an interaction with the advocates from the district during his Yuva Galam pada yatra on Thursday said that Jagan is flaring up regional imbalances only for political gains. “In the name of three capitals the Chief Minister did nothing except create regional feelings among the people of the State,” Lokesh remarked.

Stating that a High Court bench will be set up at Kurnool soon after the TDP forms the coming government, Loeksh pointed out that when the TDP during its regime wanted to establish the National Law College in Kurnool but Jagan had shifted it from here.

“I have personally seen the pathetic condition prevailing in the court complexes in different parts of the State. I am assuring you all that once the TDP is back in power all the issues will be corrected and enough funds will be allocated to the Law department to take up necessary steps,” the TDP general secretary observed.

Also, health cards will be issued to the advocates and Rs 10 lakh ex gratia will be paid to the bereaved families of the lawyers, he said, adding that quality houses too will be built for the community. Lokesh said that the TDP Legal Cell is being strengthened and those who are striving hard for the progress of the party will certainly be given positions in the coming government to be formed by the TDP.

Later addressing the party activists at Pulivendula, Lokesh asked them not to expect any justice in the area. How Jagan, who could not honour his own sister and mother, can do justice to his home district, he remarked.

Pointing out that the TDP has extended all kinds of assistance to the people of Pulivendula, Lokesh said better opportunities too were given to the local leaders both in government and in the party. Observing that the people of Pulivendula too are sufferers of Jagan’s evil regime, Lokesh called upon the TDP activists to move closer to the people.

0

TDP general secretary, Nara Lokesh, on Wednesday promised the people of Rayalaseema that his Yuva Galam pada yatra has given him an opportunity to have the first hand information on the troubles being faced by them and that he will certainly take measures to come to their rescue to wipe their tears.

Releasing the Mission Rayalaseema at a programme organised by the party leaders in the presence of a massive gathering, Lokesh said that the TDP has designed a special programme for the benefit of the dairy farmers. Assuring the farming community to transform Rayalaseema as a horticultural hub, the TDP national general secretary promised to initiate steps to supply irrigation water for every acre by completing the ongoing projects.

During pada yatra I learnt Reddys are worst hit in Jagan rule, says Lokesh

0

TDP general secretary, Nara Lokesh, on Tuesday remarked that he has come to know after he started his pada yatra that the Reddy community is the worst-affected after Jagan Mohan Reddy has become the Chief Minister of the State.

Lokesh had an interaction with the representatives of the Reddy community during his Yuva galam pada yatra in Kadapa district.

Majority of them complained that their pending bills have not been cleared for a long time due to which they are suffering a lot. Some of them said that they are totally dependent on farming and after Jagan Reddy came to power and water through drip irrigation is also not being supplied. The youth are struggling a lot as there are no employment opportunities, they told Lokesh.

Responding to them, Lokesh said that the Reddy community has fallen victim to Jagan’s strategies and only four persons from the community, Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy, Vijayasai Reddy, Peddi Reddy and YV Subba Reddy, got maximum benefits. Stating that the Reddy community stood solidly behind the TDP since beginning, Lokesh told them that the party too has honoured them by giving good positions both in the party and in the government.

“The situation has come to such a pass during Jagan’s rule that contractors from Reddy community are resorting to suicides and only on Monday the YSRCP workers physically atatcked Jayaram Reddy, a senior TDP leader,” Loeksh observed.

Promising that soon after the TDP forms the coming government all measures will be taken for the progress of Reddys, the TDP national general secretary said that Rayalaseema will be transformed as a horticulture hub.

The old insurance policy will be adopted for farmers, he said, adding that all the assets that are illegally occupied during the YSRCP rule will be released and handed over to the original owners.

“There are several persons belonging to the Reddy community in my personal staff members and the Vastu expert whom I strongly believe is Jayaram Reddy,” Loeksh narrated.

Asking those who assembled for the meeting not to trust the Goebbels propaganda of Jagan, he made it clear that only TDP can respect the Reddy community.

“I am assuring you all that immediately after the TDP forms the coming government industries will be invited to the State on a large scale to provide maximum employment opportunities,” Lokesh maintained.

Later at Masia Circle Brahmin community representatives, in a memorandum to Lokesh said that the YSRCP has discontinued all the welfare schemes for the community which were in force earlier.

Pointing out that the TDP has encouraged Veda studies through Veda Vyasa scheme and the poor students from the Brahmin community got benefits worth Rs 21.6 lakh. Also, 75,000 gifts were given through Kalyanamasthu scheme to the Brahmin brides during the TDP regime, he said and stated that several other schemes were implemented when the TDP was in ruling for the benefit of the Brahmins.

“House-sites and houses will be allotted to poor Brahmin families soon after the TDP is back in power. Not only the foreign education scheme but also all other schemes that were in force earlier will be revived,” Lokesh told the representatives of the Brahmin community.

When the Mee Seva contract employees complained that their services have not been regularised yet, Loeksh said that once the TDP is into power again the services of the Mee Seva employees will be utilised in a better way and the services of the eligible staff members will be regularised.

Representatives of Muslim and Arya Vysya communities too met Loeksh and submitted memorandums to him on the problems that they are facing. Lokesh promsied to take all measures to resolve their issues once the TDP is back in power and asked them to extend their cooperation to being the TDP back into power.

Dola’s arrest indicates YSRCP Govt’s psychoism, says Lokesh

0

The arrest of Dalit intellectual and TDP MLA, Dola Bala Veeranjaneya Swamy, clearly indicates that the psycoism of the YSRCP Government has reached its peak stages, felt TDP general secretary, Nara Lokesh, on Monday.

Bala Veeranjaneya Swamy is being subjected to harassment repeatedly as he is questioning the corrupt practices of the Jagan Mohan Reddy Government, said Lokesh on learning about the arrest of the party MLA during his ongoing Yuva Galam pada yatra.

“Seizure of the house of the MLA of the Opposition party is nothing but adopting a vengeful attitude towards him and I strongly condemn the inhuman attitude adopted while taking the MLA into custody,” Lokesh observed.

Several leaders from Kamalapuram joined the TDP in the presence of Lokesh at the Chenna Mukkapalli campsite of Kamalapuram Assembly segment. Welcoming all of them into the party fold, Lokesh called upon the leaders to strive hard to bring the TDP back to power whenever the elections are held.

“You all should work not only for the success of the TDP in Kamalapuram but also for bringing the party back to power,” he added.

Lokesh felt that all those who had earlier reposed faith in Chief Minister, Jagan Mohan Reddy, are deserting the party as they have come to know the ground reality. Even in the recent Legislative Council elections too Jagan felt the heat as the voters rejected the ruling party candidates, he said.

Lokesh’s pada yatra entered Kamalapuram Assembly segment from Mydukur and he is given a rousing reception by the party leaders and activists.

The incharge of the TDP for the Assembly segment, Putta Narasimha Reddy led the team of party leaders to welcome Loeksh into Kamalapuram.

As the Yuva Galam reached the 1500 km milestone, a large number of TDP activists gathered on the Chennur-Kondapeta bridge to greet Lokesh. The party workers displayed the 1500 feet long flag on the successful completion of the pada yatra.

Lokesh to adopt handloom sector in AP

0

Chief Minister, Jagan Mohan Reddy, who has thrown out his own mother and sister did injustice to his motherland, Kadapa district too, observed Lokesh, TDP general secretary, on Wednesday.

Lokesh, who had a close interaction with handloom workers at the Devagudi campsite of Jammalamadugu Assembly segment during his Yuva Galam pada yatra, said that almost all sections of people are victims of various kinds of harassment during Jagan’s rule and the handloom workers are no exception. The Chief Minister is not finding time even to conduct a review meeting on the problems being faced by the handloom workers, Lokesh said and announced that he is adopting the whole handloom sector in the State.

Stating that the existing five per cent GST on the sector too will be lifted by the coming TDP government, Lokesh also promised to allot TIDCO houses to them and build common working sheds. “I am assuring you that the Chandranna Bheema scheme will be reintroduced once the TDP is back in power and we will certainly come to the rescue of all those who are dependent on the handloom sector, including farmers, master-weavers and other workers,” the TDP general secretary added.

Pointing out that the TDP had earlier extended various kinds of benefits to the handloom workers like loan waiver to the tune of Rs 110 cr, Lokesh said that now even the Apco is virtually not in existence now. Immediately after the TDP forms the next government clusters will be set up for the workers and training centers too will be established, he added.

Later, the Salivendula villagers expressed their displeasure over the existing Government as not even basic amenities like roads, drainage and toilets were provided for them. “Jagan completely diverted the Rs 8660 cr funds meant for village development thus totally neglecting the rural areas and the situation has come to such a pass that the villages do not have funds even to buy bleaching powder,” Lokesh remarked responding to the villagers’ complaint. “I am promising you that once the TDP is into power again the villages will be given top priority,” he added.

Lokesh’s pada yatra entered the Proddatur Assembly segment from Jammalamadugu. He is received by TDP local incharge, Praveen Reddy, former MLAs, Veerasiva Reddy and Varadarajulu Reddy and senior TDP leader, CM Suresh Naidu besides others.

Lokesh promises Islamic bank for Muslims

TDP general secretary and former minister Nara Lokesh on Tuesday said that the TDP would create Islamic Bank for the welfare of the Muslims. Addressing a meeting at Jammalamadugu as part of his padayatra, Lokesh criticised chief minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy, for neglecting the welfare of the Muslim minorities. He said that the TDP government after the 2024 elections would restore all welfare schemes for every section.

He alleged that the Jagan government also withdrew 27 welfare schemes for the SCs and cancelled all welfare schemes for the BCs. He said that the TDP regime would bring new legislation to protect the BCs from atrocities and crime against them. He also blamed Jagan for withdrawing reservations for the BCs and said that the TDP government would reintroduce the reservations.

He criticised Jagan for claiming himself as the poor man and wondered how a person having Rs 1 lakh crore worth properties is called poor. Lokesh alleged that Jagan had destroyed the state and neglected every section. Jagan and his men have benefited in the last four years, while the state and the people have lost heavily, he said.

Lokesh called upon the people to defeat Jagan in the next elections and bring the TDP back to power. He said former chief minister and TDP supremo N Chandrababu Naidu is a visionary leader and a state like Andhra Pradesh should have a visionary as the chief minister.

The TDP government had created huge properties for the state after the bifurcation, Lokesh said and alleged that Jagan had destroyed it all. He reiterated that the TDP government would restore the development and provide employment to every youth in the state.

I have taken people’s problems to Chandrababu’s notice, says Lokesh

0

TDP general secretary, Nara Lokesh, on Tuesday said that he has taken the problems of the people, that he discovered during his ongoing Yuva Galam pada yatra, to the notice of party supremo and former chief minister, Nara Chandrababu Naidu.

“On learning about all your troubles, Chandrababu Naidu has announced several welfare schemes at the Mahanadu in the name of Future Guarantee,” Lokesh said addressing a huge public meeting at Jammalamadugu on beginning his pada yatra on Tuesday after a four-day gap. Lokesh gave a halt to his Yuva Galam as he attended the Mahanadu at Rajamahendravaram.

Expressing deep satisfaction at the massive gathering for his public meeting, Lokesh felt that he is fortunate enough to undertake his pada yatra on a historic land like Jammalamadugu. Observing that the YSRCP leaders are getting totally disturbed at even the mini manifesto of the TDP announced at Mahanadu, Lokesh felt that once the main manifesto is announced the chapter of the YSRCP will come to an end.

Stating that the YSRCP leaders are asking as to how the schemes announced in the mini manifesto will be implemented, he made it clear that Chandrababu is a creator of assets and the TDP can easily implement all the schemes. “Chief Minister, Jagan Mohan Reddy, is a liar as he did not implement even a single promise made to the people. What happened to the promise of total prohibition and how Jagan will go to the people seeking votes again,” he asked.

Jagan always wants the people to remain in poverty, Lokesh said and promised to create 20 lakh jobs in five years. “I am assuring you all that once the TDP forms the next government job calendar will be announced every year and study circles will be set up in all the districts in the State,” the TDP general secretary stated.

Reiterating that he will revolt if any obstructions are created for his pada yatra, Lokesh said that the YSRCP leaders tried to cause some hurdles much before he entered Kadapa district. Making a fervent appeal to the people to give a chance to the TDP, he said that once the party is back in power the people will witness what is development.

Lokesh is continuing his pada yatra in darkness as the local officials disconnected the power supply. The streetlights on the thoroughfares were deliberately switched off while a firm Lokesh did not relent and continued his Yuva Galam with a massive following of the people.

In Rayalaseema I saw only a regime sans peasants, says Lokesh

0

“Chief Minister, Jagan Mohan Reddy, before elections promised to bring in the farmers dynasty (Rythu Rajyam) in the State. I have been on my pada yatra in Rayalaseema region for the past 108 days and I could only see a regime without peasants,” maintained Lokesh, TDP general secretary, on Wednesday.

Lokesh, during his Yuva Galam pada yatra on Wednesday, had an interaction with the displaced of the Gandikota and Rajoli reservoirs and the local farmers at Suddapalli of Jammalamadugu Assembly segment of Kadapa district.

“Jagan visited the Gandikota reservoir in 2020 and promised to do justice to the displaced. If he can spend a mere Rs 200 cr all the problems can be resolved. But the displaced were forced to vacate their places overnight with the help of the police. When the Chief Minister could not do justice to the farmers in his own district, how could the peasants in other areas expect assistance from him,” Lokesh asked.

Assuring the displaced that immediately after the TDP comes back to power proper compensation will be paid to the project displaced, Lokesh said that employment opportunities too will be provided to them by setting up some small scale industries in their areas.

“I am aware that the farmers are not getting back even their investments as the prices of seeds and fuel have gone up while the input subsidy is no longer available,” the TDP general secretary added.

Maintaining that before he completes his pada yatra in Rayalaseema he will certainly announce what the TDP is planning for the region, Lokesh felt that the region should also have tomato and mango processing units.

This Government is totally neglecting the villages and the panchayats have been completely crippled. Roads and bridges that were constructed during the TDP regime are still in the same shape and there is no further development, Lokesh said.

All these issues apart, the Jagan Government very soon is going to fix meters to motors which will prove very expensive to the farming community, he felt. Lokesh also promised to complete the bridge from Sajjaladinne to Sankepalli.

Lokesh promises linking of Kundu river with KC canal

Chief Minister, Jagan Mohan Reddy, has been keeping in pending even the works that can be completed with minimum funds and soon after the TDP forms the next government the Kundu river will be linked with the Kurnool-Kadapa (KC) Canal to resolve all the irrigation problems in the area, said TDP general secretary, Nara Lokesh, on Monday.

The farmers from Ramachadrapuram under KC Canal met Lokesh during his pada yatra and in a memorandum submitted to him mentioned that since their village is at the tag-end of the canal they are not getting irrigation water. If the Kundu river, which is very close to their village, is linked to the KC Canal the irrigation problems of not only their village but also 30 surrounding villages will be resolved, they said in the memorandum.

“It is really unfortunate that the farmers in the village, which is very close to the Kundu river, are facing such problems. Irrigation has taken a back seat in the YSRCP rule and once the TDP is back in power in the coming polls the linking of Kundu river with the KC Canal will be taken up,” Lokesh said.

Earlier before beginning his Yuva Galam pada yatra on Monday, Lokesh had an interaction with the representatives of Balija community at the Dornipadu campsite. The TDP general secretary pointed out that the TDP strived hard for the uplift of the Balija community but now the community has become a victim in the hands of Jagan.

Several leaders from Mangalagiri Assembly segment joined the TDP at the campsite in the presence of Lokesh. Welcoming them into the party, Lokesh asked them to work hard to bring the TDP back to power.

Our’s is cycle rule while Jagan’s is psycho rule, says Lokesh

0

“TDP supremo, Nara Chandrababu Naidu, is a champion while Chief Minister, Jagan Mohan Reddy, is a Saturn and our’s is a cycle rule but Jagan’s is a psycho rule,” remarked TDP general secretary, Nara Lokesh, on Saturday.

Addressing a huge public meeting during his Yuva Galam pada yatra at Banaganapalle, Lokesh felt that he is fortunate enough to have his pada yatra on this holy land where the great saint, Sri Potuluri Veerabrahmendra Swamy, who authored the prophecy, ‘Kalagnanam’.

The Yuva Galam is the voice of the people and the public strength, the TDP general secretary remarked and said that the people have got sufficient water during the Chandrababu Naidu regime while now they are crying.

Stating that Jagan shamelessly publicised himself to be a poor leader, Lokesh asked as to how a person who owns one lakh crore worth of property can call himself as poor. “How can a person who wears Rs 1 lakh worth of chappals and consumes Rs 1,000 worth of water bottle be poor,” he asked.

Jagan has one palace in Bengaluru, one in Hyderabad, one in Tadepalli, one in Idupulapaya and now building one more palace in Visakhapatnam, the TDP national leader said and added that besides these palaces, the Chief Minister has cement companies, power plants and media houses.

“I am throwing a challenge to Jagan. Distribute Rs 90,000 cr worth of properties to the public and then I agree that he is poor,” he observed.

Maintaining that the TDP agenda is to build a State without poverty, Lokesh felt that there is a silent revolution in the State to defeat Jagan in the coming polls. The Aarogyasri is no longer in force while there is no mention of the promise to build houses for the poor, he said.

Though the voters of Kurnool elected only three TDP MLAs in 2014, the Chandrababu regime has taken measures for establishing an airport, mega solar park, mega seed park and cement factories in the district, Lokesh said and called upon the people to get elected 14 MLAs from the TDP and the party will take the district to number one position.

Next TDP govt will encourage women to become entrepreneurs, says Lokesh

0

The Jagan Mohan Reddy Government is not only neglecting women’s welfare completely in the State but also harassing them in various ways, observed Nara Lokesh, TDP general secretary, on Thursday.

During his Yuva Galam pada yatra on Thursday, the villagers of Mandlem and Tangadancha of Nandikotkur Assembly segment met Lokesh and informed him that there is no subsidy for various welfare schemes for women after the YSRCP came to power. They also wanted the Chandranna Pelli Kanuka to be revived soon after the TDP came back to power and 75 per cent subsidy be provided for women to set up small scale industries.

Promising them that all the pending projects in Rayalaseema will be completed soon after the TDP assumes charge in the coming elections, Lokesh said that the Chandranna Pelli Kanuka will certainly be brought back to provide financial assistance for all sections.

“Particularly women will be encouraged to become entrepreneurs and all possible assistance will be extended to them to set up their own units. Women should provide employment to others and that is my wish,” Lokesh maintained.

Stating that the TDP is committed for the welfare of the SCs, Lokesh said that soon after the TDP is back in power job opportunities will be increased in public, private and other sectors to check unemployment. Pointing out that Chief Minister, Jagan Mohan Reddy, did not keep his promise of declaring job calendar every year due to which they unemployment rate is growing by the day, Lokesh expressed serious concern that as a result of which the youth is likely to take a wrong path and get addicted to drugs like ganja.

Earlier, the villagers of Tarthuru made an appeal to Lokesh to sanction a lift irrigation facility for their village. They also complained that with the influence of the Executive Officer (EO) of the TTD who is the uncle of the local sarpanch, false cases are being registered against them and requested them to lift all such cases soon after the TDP is back in government.

Assuring them that all such fake cases will be lifted, Lokesh said that not only lift irrigation facilities will be provided to the villagers but also the drinking water problem too will be solved. “Filing such false cases against the victims is the speciality of Raja Reddy constitution,” Lokesh remarked.

In an interaction held with the members of the Backward Classes communities at Tarigopula Cross during his pada yatra, Mr Lokesh said that soon after the TDP is into ruling again BCs will be provided all sorts of assistance.

Behind every scheme launched by Jagan there is a scam, says Lokesh

If Chief Minister, Jagan Mohan Reddy, launches a scheme, there is a scam behind it, observed TDP general secretary, Nara Lokesh, on Friday.

The Mobile Dispensing Unit (MDU) vehicles to deliver the ration at door-step have been purchased with Rs 536 cr only for commissions, Lokesh said and added that Rs 250 cr is being paid annually as wages to the operators of the vehicles which is a sheer misuse of public funds.

Earlier, the card holders could go to the shops to buy ration when they were free, but with the MDUs in operation the card-holders have to wait till it reaches their door-step, Lokesh noted.

The representatives of State Ration Dealers Association met Lokesh at Pedapadu in Panyam Assembly segment during his Yuva Galam pada yatra on Friday and submitted a memorandum in which they said that over 29,500 ration dealers across the State have been totally dependant on the public distribution system for decades.

With the introduction of the MDU system now, which is against the provisions of the Food Security Act, that is being run parallely these dealers are losing their livelihood, they mentioned in the memorandum and demanded that the system be done away with soon after the TDP is back into ruling.

Agreeing with the ration dealers, Lokesh said that the card-holders, the ration dealers and the MDU operators are all suffering due to the introduction of this system. The TDP national leader promised to review the MDU system soon after the TDP forms the government again and a decision which will be convenient to both the card-holders and the dealers will be taken.

“We will certainly examine the possibility of transforming the ration shops as multi-service centres,” Lokesh added.

The youth of Pedapadu village, in a memorandum informed Lokesh that they are not getting sufficient water after their village is merged with the local corporation. Responding to them, Lokesh felt that if a village is merged into a corporation the facilities should improve and steps will be taken to supply the Tungabhadra water to them once the TDP is into ruling again.

Pay compensation for farmers of irrigation projects, Lokesh tells Jagan

0

Telugu Desam Party general secretary, Nara Lokesh, on Tuesday demanded that the farmers who lost their lands for irrigation projects be paid compensation as per the provisions of the Land Acquisition Act-2013.

The affected farmers of the Gajuladinne project met Lokesh during his ongoing pada yatra ‘Yuva Galam’ and submitted a memorandum in which they wanted the TDP to take up the issue of payment of proper compensation for them.

They said that though the cost of the land in their villages is over Rs 30 lakh per acre, the State Government is paying only Rs 4.2 lakh per acre for those who lost their lands for the Gajuladinne project.

Responding to their request, Lokesh said that the State Government can not forcibly take the lands from farmers without their consent. Even if the farmers give their consent, the compensation should be paid as per the norms, he said. Lokesh promised them that the TDP will soon write to the State Government to pay the compensation as per the norms.

The farmer of Kiravadi village in Yemmiganur Assembly segment told Lokesh that Chief Minister, Jagan Mohan Reddy, is now feeling totally insecure after his paternal uncle’s murder has taken a serious turn and thus neglecting the farmers in the State. The TDP will certainly resolve all their issues once the party is back in power, he said.

When Puttapasam villagers informed Lokesh that they did not get the housing benefits, he said that the ruling of Jagan is publicity is in its peak and the matter is weak. Once the TDP forms the government again the houses already constructed will be distributed to the beneficiaries and new units will be constructed to provide the benefit for others, Lokesh maintained.

Jagan doing great injustice to Dalits by diverting sub-plan funds, says Lokesh

0

Chief Minister, Jagan Mohan Reddy, is doing great injustice to Dalits in the State by diverting the sub-plan funds amounting to Rs 28,149 cr besides discontinuing 27 welfare schemes for the community which were introduced during the TDP regime, said Nara Loeksh, TDP general secretary, on Saturday.

The Dalits of Halaharvi of Yemmiganur Assembly constituency met Lokesh at Nandavaram Rainbow School during his Yuva Galam pada yatra and informed him that they are not getting any loans on subsidy from the SC Corporation and that their sub-plan funds are being diverted to Navaratnalu. They wanted Lokesh to revive all the welfare schemes that are being discontinued now soon after the TDP is into power again.

In a rather sarcastic manner calling Jagan a great leader, Lokesh said that the Chief Minister is such a great person that he has registered a case under the provisions of the SC, ST Atrocities Act against a Dalit. He assured the Dalits that all the welfare schemes that Jagan has withdrawn will certainly be revived and the false cases booked against the community persons will be lifted once the TDP is into power again.

Earlier, when Vaddera community representatives met Lokesh he assured them that funds will be allocated for the Vaddera Corporation as per their population ratio as soon as the TDP forms the government, and all the welfare schemes too will be revived. Lokesh also promised the Madasi Kuruva community representatives, who met him at Nandavaram, that justice will be done to them about their demand to include them in the SC category.

When the Halaharvi Backward Classes (BC) representatives met Lokesh at the Nandavaram temple, he assured them that besides Adarana, all the welfare schemes will certainly be revived as the TDP is committed to the welfare of the community. This Government is totally ignoring the BCs, he said, adding that even the funds meant for their welfare are being diverted.

Lokesh dubs RBK centres as bogus

0

Terming the Rythu Bharosa Kendras (RBKs) as total bogus, TDP general secretary, Nara Lokesh, on Friday said that not even a single farmer in the State has received any kind of benefit from these centres.

In a close interaction with farmers at Machapuram of Yemmiganur Assembly segment, Lokesh said that the farming community is the worst-hit during the YSRCP rule. Calling Chief Minister, Jagan Mohan Reddy, as a holiday CM as he declared a crop holiday, power holiday and aqua holiday, Lokesh said that the State Cabinet never reviewed the issues being faced by the farmers.

Jagan has promised Rs 10 lakh each for the families of those farmers who resort to suicides but till now he has not come to the rescue of a single family, Lokesh remarked. The TDP national leader declared Rs 1 lakh as financial assistance to the family members of Rangamma, a Dalit farmer, and said that soon after the party is back in power Rs 10 lakh ex gratia will be paid to the family.

Asking as to why Jagan’s photos are printed on the cover page of the passbooks issued to the farmers, Lokesh said that the Chief Minister completely ignored drip irrigation which is a boon to the farmers in Rayalaseema. Recalling that the TDP, while in power, has waived Rs 50,000 loan to every farmer and seeds, fertilisers and pesticides were also supplied in high subsidy, Lokesh said that not only there is a steep hike in the prices of all farm chemicals and seeds but also spurious seeds, fertilisers and pesticides are being supplied to the farmers.

Observing that the cotton farmers are suffering heavily due to the negligence by the State Government, Lokesh asked as to why action is not being initiated against those who are selling spurious seeds and other such products. He assured the farming community that immediately after the TDP is back in power stringent action will be taken against such elements who are cheating farmers.

Sand mafia ruling the roost now in AP, says Lokesh

0

The sand mafia is ruling the roost in the State after the YSRCP came to power and once the TDP is back into ruling stringent measures will be taken against this mafia, observed Nara Lokesh, TDP general secretary and former minister.

During his Yuva Galam pada yatra, the villagers of Chetnihalli and Madhavarm of Mantralayam Assembly segment told Lokesh that the roads not only in their village but in the neighbouring areas too, are getting badly damaged due to the regular transport of sand and no measures are taken to repaid these roads following which they are facing problems.

Maintaining that the sand mafia will be completely controlled once the TDP forms the government again, Lokesh promised the villagers that all the measures will be taken to solve their problems. He told them that the TDP always accords highest priority for providing basic amenities in rural areas.

When Lokesh had an interaction with Valmiki and Boya community people at Mantralayam, they said that Chief Minister, Jagan Mohan Reddy, has taken them for a ride by not fulfilling the promise that they will be given the ST status. Also, they are not getting any benefits that are being given for BCs and that they are not getting any welfare schemes.

Promising a separate legislation will be enacted for the safety and security of BCs once the TDP is back in power, Lokesh promised them that even the expenses for legal fight for them will be met by the next government. Funds will be allocated to BCs as per their population ratio, he said and assured them that the Adarana scheme will also be revived.

Though the TDP, when in power, passed a resolution in the Assembly that the Satyapal Committee recommendations be implemented, now Jagan who took the Boyas and Valmiks for a ride for the past four years, has now decided to include these two communities to give ST status only in four districts, Lokesh remarked.

Lokesh promises High Court bench at Kurnool after TDP forms govt

0

TDP has already taken a decision to set up a High Court bench at Kurnool soon after the party is back in power, said TDP general secretary Nara Lokesh on Sunday.

“Ruling should be from one place and the development should be decentralised,” is the policy of the TDP, said Lokesh during an interaction with advocates at Kuppagallu in Adoni Assembly segment during his Yuva Galam pada yatra on Sunday.

Making it clear that the TDP will not deceive the people like the YSRCP, Mr Lokesh pointed out that Chief Minister, Jagan Mohan Reddy, says that the High Court will be set up only in Rayalaseema while Minister for Finance, Buggana Rajendranath Reddy, says that the High Court will be shifted to Visakhapatnam.

“But the fact remains otherwise. The State Government has filed an affidavit before the Supreme Court of India that the Andhra Pradesh High Court will be retained in Amaravathi,” Lokesh explained. Pointing out that the Jagan Government till now has not even allotted land for the High Court, the TDP national general secretary asked the advocates to realise these facts.

The TDP has already taken a decision to set up a High Court bench in Kurnool and it will be implemented soon after the party is back in power, he said.

Lokesh felt that it is not correct to simply blame the legal wing that several cases are pending disposal without creating even basic facilities and not allocating necessary funds for the department. “The TDP will certainly provide the necessary funds and all the facilities needed for the Law Department,” he added.

Admitting that with the cooperation of the advocates the atrocities of the Jagan Government could be controlled to a certain extent, Lokesh promised stipend for junior lawyers and all the problems of the advocate community will be resolved on a war-footing basis once the TDP is into government.

The former chairman of the Mangalagiri Sivalayam Trust Board and AP Padmashali Union working president, Munagapalti Venkateswara Rao, joined the TDP in the presence of Lokesh at Kuppagallu during lunch break. Munagapati’s son and his brother too joined the TDP and Mr Lokesh welcomed them into the party.

At least 13 committees are playing a crucial role besides 100 volunteers, in making the pada yatra a grand success. Jagan transformed job capital of India into ganja capital, says Lokesh

0

Chief Minister, Jagan Mohan Reddy, transformed Andhra Pradesh, which was earlier popular as the job capital of India into ganja capital of India, observed TDP general secretary Nara Lokesh, on Thursday.

In an interaction with the youth at Nagalapuram of Adoni Assembly segment in Kurnool district during his ongoing pada yatra, ‘Yuva Galam’, Lokesh said that Jagan is moving behind the screens as he is scared of the youth. “Jagan knows pretty well that the youth will question him and thus he is not moving behind the screens,” Lokesh commented.

Assuring the youth that the TDP, once back in power, will ensure that they will get employment soon after their studies are over, Lokesh said that the academic system from KG to PG will be cleansed. Also, in every Assembly segment plug and play system will be introduced for IT companies, he added.

Terming Jagan as a cutting master, the TDP general secretary said that the Chief Minister has discontinued Best Available Schools, foreign education system, fee reimbursement and study circles. He is of the opinion that Jagan is just taking the students for a ride in the name of Vidya Deevena, Vasathi Deevena and other schemes. Both parents of students and the teaching community are facing a lot of difficulties as the fee is not being reimbursed, he added.

Promising the people of Kurnool district that soon after the TDP is back in power, companies will be set up in the district in large numbers, Lokesh dared the YSRCP leaders to come for an open debate on how many companies were set up in the State during TDP regime. He said that Chandrababu Naidu is a brand and any company owner will be ready to set up his or her unit once he heads the government.

How long the youth will move to Bengaluru and Chennai, he asked and said that the TDP will certainly set up units in large scale to check these migrations. He said that Jagan’s is a faction mindset and thus he transformed Andhra Pradesh into another Bihar.

At Arekal, the Valmiki community representatives met Lokesh and submitted a memorandum seeking ST status for them. Lokesh promised to take up the issue once the TDP forms the government again. Lokesh said that the Jagan Mohan Reddy Government is adopting a vengeful attitude towards Muslim minorities.

Lokesh promises sports university to Rayalaseema

0

Stating that Chief Minister, Jagan Mohan Reddy, does not know the value of sports, TDP general secretary, Nara Lokesh, on Wednesday promised to establish sports university in Rayalaseema once the TDP is ruling again.

“What Jagan, who failed 10th standard, knows about the value of sports. The TDP is fully aware of its importance and I will take personal interest to establish a sports university in Rayalaseema region soon after the TDP forms its government again,” Lokesh told the villagers of Karumanchi of Alur Assembly segment in Kurnool district when they met him during his Yuva Galam pada yatra.

The members of the Backward Classes (BC) community in the village informed Lokesh that they are facing a lot of problems in getting caste certificates and that they are not even getting fee reimbursement. The Vaddera community and Toddy Tappers community too told Lokesh that they are not getting any benefits from this Government.

It is the TDP that promoted the BCs both politically and economically, Lokesh said and added that the party provided 34 per cent reservations in local bodies and appointed BC leaders to key posts. The Jagan Mohan Reddy Government is registering false cases against the BC leaders, he said.

The TDP is committed to the assurance given to Valmikis that they will be given ST status, Lokesh said and promised the BC community members that the TDP, once back in power, will bring in a separate legislation for the safety and security of the community. Neera cafes will be started and reservations will be given for Toddy Tappers community in liquor shops, he said.

Later, the villagers of Kiruppala told Lokesh that they have been making a series of appeals to the district collector for the past four years to arrange a lift irrigation facility to their agricultural lands from the local Vengalaraya Doddi tank but there is no response from the officials. They appealed to Lokesh to provide the lift irrigation facility soon after the TDP came back to power.

Pointing out that the Chandrababu Naidu government has spent Rs 11,000 cr for irrigation projects, Lokesh said that though 90 per cent of the Handri Neeva project works were completed during the TDP regime, the Jagan Government did not take the initiative to complete the remaining 10 per cent works. The party will certainly take up the lift irrigation works once it is back in the government, Lokesh said, adding that basic facilities too will be provided in all the rural areas in the State.

The TDP general secretary also promised the farming community that the Chandranna government that is going to be formed soon will come to the rescue of the farmers. The issue of spurious seeds too will be handled by the coming TDP government, Lokesh added.
