The makers of ‘Bheemla Nayak’ had organised an event to celebrate the blockbuster success of the movie, earlier on Saturday.

Talking at the event, director Sagar K Chandra thanked the entire team, as he showered praise on Trivikram Srinivas for his hard work. “We are overwhelmed with the kind of response for this movie. Hearing blockbuster reports along with mind-blowing collections,” Sagar said.

Talking about the teamwork, Sagar K Chandra thanked Thaman, who scored thumping music for the Pawan & Rana- starrer. “His music added great value to the scenes,” Sagar K Chandra added.

“We are all flowers of a garland, who were kept together by Trivikram, who acted as a thread. He’s the one who held us together, coordinated with each team. We are forever thankful for his continuous efforts in keeping us all motivated despite the challenges.”

Thaman, who delivered good music for the ‘Ayyappanum Koshiyum’ remake, stated that the team was confident about the movie being a super hit, ever since.

“We knew it would be nothing less than a Tsunami”, Thaman said.

Screenplay and dialogue writer Trivikram said, “I first need to thank the media. The media hyped the movie, as much as it was needed.”

“We need to shift the balance. We started the journey of Bheemla Nayak saluting forest, to take the character close to the jungle. We later imbibed Koshy’s character.”

“The major change we made was to give both characters a common journey,” the ‘Ala Vaikunthapuramu Loo’ director said. Actress Samyuktha Menon, Producer Naga Vamsi, Ganesh Master, and others were present at the success meet along with Sagar K Chandra, Thaman, and Trivikram Srinivas.

After the coronavirus pandemic in various phases, Tollywood is recovering well and on a faster note. Bheemla Nayak is the first biggie after the third wave of the pandemic and the film reported packed houses all over. The film is the biggest ever Indian grosser on day one in 2022. Bollywood film Gangubhai Kathiawadi grossed close to Rs 8.5 crores while Bheemla Nayak grossed more than Rs 40 crores on day one. Tollywood is now completely relieved as the audience are ready to watch films in theatres.

The producers of Radhe Shyam, RRR, Acharya and other summer biggies are quite happy with the way Bheemla Nayak opened in all the territories. The film is expected to end up as one of the biggest hits of Telugu cinema going with the performance and word of mouth of the film. RRR, Radhe Shyam and other films will head for a record release in March and April. The promotional activities of these biggies will start next week. Tollywood is heading for a big bet in summer very soon.

Tollywood music director S. Thaman has been on cloud 9 with back-to-back musical hits. The ‘Ala Vaikuntapuramuloo’ musician has danced along with drummer Sivamani at the theatre screening ‘Bheemla Nayak’, leaving the fans to go gaga over his thumping music.

Being lauded for his mind-blowing background music for ‘Bheemla Nayak’, the musician celebrates the huge success at the theatre.

Thaman has shared a clip from the theatre, where he is seen dancing on the mass song from the movie, as drummer Sivamani accompanies the jamboree.

Speaking at the success meet of ‘Bheemla Nayak’, Thaman stated that he was wanting to give his best for the Pawan-Rana -starrer ever since he got roped in to score the music.

“It was not easy for ‘Bheemla Nayak’. From the start, there was some or the other issue, for this movie. Every day, we used to start working with much stubbornness.. Extremely happy for the movie’s success”, Thaman said.

Bheemla Nayak has taken a very good opening in the Telugu States with a distributor share of 25.80 Cr. The film has set All-Time Record in Nizam beating Pushpa but the collections in AP have been affected by the ticket cap restrictions. The film didn’t even release in some centres as the tickets were capped at 30/- which won’t even recover the theatre rents.

The film has taken the best opening post COVID 3rd wave beating Pushpa. In areas like Ceeded, Nellore, Krishna the film has collected less than Pushpa due to the ticket cap restrictions. Even special shows were now allowed to be screened.

The government of AP is yet to revise the GO 35 for ticket pricing. For the recent films, the government was not much bothered and the movie tickets in the state are sold for high prices ignoring the issued GO. Ahead of Pawan Kalyan’s Bheemla Nayak release, the government shifted its focus back on the theatres. The revenue officials along with the cops rushed to theatres and forced the exhibitors to sell the tickets for low prices. As it is impossible to screen films for such low prices, several exhibitors in C, D centres decided to shut the theatres.

The response for Bheemla Nayak is just outstanding and the film would end up as the biggest hit in Pawan’s career. But because of the restrictions in AP, the film would lose close to Rs 20 crores in the final run in the state. The government is badly criticized for the recent move and for targeting Pawan Kalyan directly. The Telugu film industry is tight-lipped and is waiting for the week to pass so that the government would revise the GO. Pawan Kalyan is tight-lipped for now on the issue.

Powerstar Pawan Kalyan’s  Bheemla Nayak had a record release across the globe on Friday. Saagar Chandra directed this remake of the Malayalam movie Ayyappanum Koshiyum and Trivikram penned the script and the screenplay. Rana Daggubati played the other lead role and Nithya Menen is the leading lady. Thaman’s music album is already topping the music charts and Sithara Entertainments are the producers.  Here is the film’s review:

Story :

Bheemla Nayak (Pawan Kalyan) is an honest sub-Inspector in the Kurnool district. One night, he apprehends Daniel ‘Danny’ Sekhar (Rana Daggubati), a retired army man, as he transports bottles of liquor in ‘dry’ territory. Danny’s ego is hurt and the clash between the two escalates from verbal altercations to physical confrontations. The rest of the movie is about how Danny tries to extract his revenge on Bheemla Nayak and Nayak’s answer to Danny.

Analysis :

The basic premise of Bheemla Nayak is the ego clash of two strong-willed individuals. In the original film ‘Ayyappanum Koshiyum’ we see more verbal spars than actual physical fights. Bheemla Nayak stays true to the original for the first half of the movie, with the two protagonists turning to blows in the second half. This is a film dripping with the mass appeal of Pawan Kalyan and the impeccable attitude of Rana. The film sets up the two main characters in the opening scenes, giving an idea about their size in terms of ego as well as the extent to which they can go.

The changes made in the second half could be seen as a deviation from the brilliance of the original script, but it is filled with mass elements that cater well to Telugu audiences. The pre-climax twist and the massive flashback are examples; here we see more emphasis on generating mass appealing emotions rather than telling an engaging story itself–this might work best among fans though others might find it a bit repetitive. Pawan Kalyan’s characterization reminds us of his Badri days, so intense and explosive.

The way director Sagar K Chandra ensured the perfect balance and strengths between Pawan Kalyan, and Rana’s characters is visible through the movie. Trivikram’s mark can also be seen, especially with the dialogues and the screenplay. Music Director Thaman has amplified many confrontation moments using background score – a special call-out to the scene where Rana walks alone in a forest accompanied only by his thoughts. Production values by Sithara Entertainments are good. Producer Suryadevara Naga Vamshi has delivered the perfect blend of making

Performances :

Backed by strong characterizations, the characters of Nayak, Danny set a perfect stage for Pawan Kalyan and Rana to deliver intense performances as they completely own the roles of an extreme cop and conceited person with political connections. The supporting cast of Rao Ramesh, Murali Sharma, and Samudra Khani did a good job in supporting the main duo. Nitya Menen as Nayak’s wife was convincing while Samyuktha Menon played Danny’s wife to perfection

Positives :

• Verbal duels in the first half between Nayak & Danny
• Post interval fight episodes
• Impressive dialogues
• Crisp runtime

Negatives:

• Overdose of action episodes
• Original flavor is diluted to an extent in 2nd half

Verdict : 

‘Bheemla Nayak’ is a commercial potboiler that retains the essence of its original to an extent. The changes made are worked in favor of this film, and fans will go berserk with Pawan Kalyan’s eccentric characterization throughout many scenes. Pawan Kalyan and Rana’s pairing has elevated this clash of the ego-themed movie with their brilliant performances. Overall, Bheemlaa Nayak is a winner !!

The Andhra Pradesh government seems to have been strict on their stand and they will continue to implement GO 35 in the state. The low ticket pricing issue shattered the exhibition industry. The AP government was not bothered during the release of Nagarjuna’s Bangarraju which was released for Sankranthi. After the recent meetings, the film fraternity was confident that the AP government will revise and issue the GO at the earliest. But things continued to be worse. Telugu360 exclusively learned that AP Chief Secretary had a conference with the Collectors across the state yesterday and wanted them to impose the GO 35 strictly in all the theatres.

While the District Collectors will monitor the situation, the Revenue officials along with the local cops will visit the theatres in the state where Bheemla Nayak would be screened. The officials are asked to seize the theatres if extra shows are screened or if the tickets are sold for high prices. The tensed situations are back in AP with the release of Bheemla Nayak. We have to wait to see if the AP government is targeting Pawan Kalyan or if they would continue to implement the same for the upcoming biggies.

No Relief for Pawan Kalyan’s Bheemla Nayak in AP

The government of Andhra Pradesh is expected to revise the low ticket pricing GO in Andhra Pradesh and the entire film fraternity is waiting for the big announcement. Though the GO is expected to be out before the release of Bheemla Nayak, there are no such signs. The government officials across Andhra Pradesh passed strict instructions to the exhibitors not to screen special shows and benefits shows. They also asked the exhibitors to strictly follow the GO 35 which was issued last year.

Andhra Pradesh will have no special shows and Bheemla Nayak will be screened with morning shows. The government of Telangana granted permission for the fifth show for the film and the special shows are expected to start at 4 AM on February 25th. The permissions are granted for two weeks for the film in the state. The pre-sales in Nizam are exceptional but the exhibitors of AP are yet to open the online sales as there is no clarity on the ticket pricing and the special shows. For now, there would be no relief for Bheemla Nayak in Andhra Pradesh.

Pawan Kalyan – Saagar K Chandra’s Bheemla Naayak is getting ready for a grand release on Feb 25th. Worldwide theatrical rights of the film are valued at 105.5 Cr. This is the second-highest pre-release business for the hero behind Agnyaathavaasi. Advance bookings for the film are good in Nizam & Overseas. Advances in A.P are yet to open full-fledged and there are strict orders from the government to follow the rates in G.O which are as low as 30/-. This G.O has come into place during the release of Vakeel Saab and Bheemla Naayak will be the last one to follow it as the new G.O is expected to come out in the first week of March.

Pawan Kalyan’s Bheemla Nayak is hitting the screens this Friday across the globe. The pre-release event which was scheduled to take place on Monday was rescheduled for today and it will take place in Yousufguda Police Grounds in Hyderabad. Fans are expected to attend the event in huge numbers for the event. Allu Arjun’s Pushpa pre-release event too took place at the same venue and there was a huge ruckus on the day as there are huge number of passes issued. Thousands of fans could not enter the venue due to the restrictions. Ten thousand passes are issued for a venue which can accommodate 5000 people.

To prevent such unexpected incidents, the cops took the responsibility to issue the passes. The passes issued by the production house for the Monday event are not valid for the today’s event. The cops finalized the number of passes and they are issued by them for the fans. 5000 passes are issued for the pre-release event of Bheemla Nayak. The event will be telecasted live on the YouTube page of Haarika and Hassine Creations. TV channels and other media houses are not allowed for the pre-release event of Bheemla Nayak.

Telangana Ministers KTR and Talasani Srinivas Yadav are the Chief guests for the event. Bheemla Nayak is directed by Saagar Chandra and Sithara Entertainments are the producers.

Bheemla Nayak Pre-release Event Rescheduled

The pre-release event of Bheemla Nayak which was planned to take place yesterday was postponed because of the untimely demise of AP Minister Mekapati Goutham Reddy. The makers today announced that the pre-release event will take place tomorrow evening in Yousufguda Police Grounds. Telangana IT Minister KTR was planned to attend the event as Special Guest yesterday. For now, it is unclear if KTR will make it to the event. The trailer that was out yesterday received a mixed response from the audience.

Bheemla Nayak is directed by Saagar Chandra and Pawan Kalyan, Rana Daggubati, Nithya Menen played the lead roles. The film completed all the censor formalities and is awarded U/A certificate. Bheemla Nayak is high on expectations. Sithara Entertainments are the producers. Pawan plays a cop and Trivikram worked on the script. Pawan is on a break and he will soon resume the shoot of Krish’s Hari Hara Veera Mallu.

Powerstar Pawan Kalyan will next be seen in Bheemla Nayak, the remake of Malayalam blockbuster film Ayyappanum Koshiyum. The makers unveiled the trailer of the film and it is powerfully packed with action. Bheemla Nayak is Pawan Kalyan’s one-man show and he plays a ruthless cop in this actioner. Bheemla Nayak trailer hints that the film would be a complete feast for fans and Rana Daggubati stuns everyone as Daniel Shekar. The trailer clearly misses the mark of Trivikram as he worked on the script and was present on the sets of the film.

Bheemla Nayak is an out-and-out commercial entertainer and the team took the basic plot from the original. Rana Daggubati’s role is chopped off in the second half and he is the lead antagonist. Nithya Menen is the leading lady and Thaman’s background score is good. Bankrolled by Sithara Entertainments, Bheemla Nayak hits the screens this Friday. Bheemla Nayak is carrying huge expectations all over and the pre-release sales are exceptional all over.

Powerstar Pawan Kalyan’s next outing Bheemla Nayak is hitting the screens this Friday and the makers planned a grand pre-release event today in Hyderabad. With the sudden demise of Andhra Pradesh IT Minister Mekapati Goutham Reddy, the makers decided to cancel the pre-release event. The makers issued an official statement. Pawan Kalyan expressed his condolences for the family of Mekapati Goutham Reddy. He passed away due to heart attack this morning.

The new release date of the pre-release event will be announced soon. The trailer of Bheemla Nayak is expected to release today at 8:10 PM. Bheemla Nayak is directed by Saagar Chandra and Pawan Kalyan, Rana Daggubati, Nithya Menen played the lead roles. Sithara Entertainments are the producers of Bheemla Nayak and the film is gearing up for a record release on February 25th.
