National award-winning Hindi film Andhadhun impressed the audience big time and the unique narration received critical acclaim. There has been a huge demand for the remake rights and young actor Nithiin acquired the remake rights of the film for a record price of Rs 3.5 crores. There are several names speculated and Nithiin finally found the right one to helm the project. Young and talented director Merlapaka Gandhi who directed films like Venkatadri Express, Express Raja and Krishnarjuna YuddhNithiin will helm the remake.

Nithiin’s home banner Sresht Movies will bankroll this project. The film’s shoot will be wrapped up in quick schedules and the regular shoot commences post-summer. Gandhi and his team are busy with the script and the other lead actors are picked up. The film is aimed for Christmas 2020 release.

Actor Nithiin is all set to enter the wedlock and we have revealed that the destination wedding would take place in April. He is all set to get engaged to Shalini on February 15th in Hyderabad. The engagement would be a restricted affair between the family members and the arrangements are being made. Soon after the engagement, Nithiin would slip into the promotional activities of Bheeshma which is hitting the screens on February 21st.

Nithiin’s wedding will take place on April 16th in Dubai. Nithiin is currently shooting for Rang De which will have a release post summer. The actor is lined up with four new projects which will start rolling soon.

It is known that, Nithiin accepted to do a film titled Power Peta with Chaitanya Krishna. Latest update is producers of People’s Media Factory who produced Venky Mama will be pooling resources for Power Peta which will be made as two part series. They gave the clarity that, there will be conclusion to the each part.

The regular shoot of Power Peta will commence from February in 2020. By the time, Nithiin will mostly complete all the three projects he’s doing right now. Presently, he’s starring in Bheeshma, Chadarangam and Rang De. After wrapping up Power Peta, he’ll immediately start Telugu remake of Hindi hit Andhadhun under his home production.

Actor Nithiin took one year break to reassess his choice of scripts after scoring back to back flops. 6 out his last 7 films failed to impress audience and ended as flops at box office. He is now working with three talented directors in his next three projects. Venky Kudumula of Chalo fame is directing Nithiin’s upcoming film Bheesma. This film is billed as an out and out entertainer like Chalo and Nithiin is hoping that it will put an end to his flop streak.

Apart from Bheesma, Nithiin has lined up two more interesting projects. While Chandrasekhar Yeleti’s film is billed as an intriguing thriller, his next film with talented director Venky Atluri titled as Rang De is supposed to be a youthful entertainer. Nithiin has chosen three different genres for his next three films and aiming to make a strong comeback after the string of flops. Nithiin is now going to face stiff box office competition from current generation young actors.

Despite scoring a big commercial success with Trivikram’s A..Aa, Nithiin failed to establish himself as a reliable actor as his next three films failed utterly leaving buyers with heavy losses. His market has taken a huge beating. He now needs a couple of good hits to stay in contention with the present competition among his contemporaries.
