Top director Sukumar intended to team up with Superstar Mahesh Babu, but the project did not take place as Sukumar failed to convince Mahesh with an exciting script. Soon after Anil Ravipudi impressed Mahesh with a script, Sukumar got a red alert from Mythri Movie Makers about the project. Soon, Allu Arjun’s film with Sukumar got announced and Mahesh Babu took his twitter handle to make it official that his film with Sukumar is shelved due to creative differences.

To clear the dent, Sukumar flew to Chennai to meet Superstar Mahesh Babu and he personally explained about the consequences. He is said to have apologized Mahesh Babu after he spent a complete day on the sets of Maharshi. Naveen Yerneni too is present in the meeting. Sukumar is quite eager to work with Mahesh Babu soon and we have to wait to see where Allu Arjun and Mythri Movie Makers stand in the picture if Mahesh gives his nod for Sukumar’s film.

Super talented director Sukumar scored his career’s best with Rangasthalam last year and soon he got an opportunity to work with Superstar Mahesh Babu. Sukumar had ample time to pen an interesting script for Mahesh. The top actor wanted Sukumar to come up with a bound script soon after the plot got locked. Superstar was left in shock during their recent meet which happened over the weekend.

Sukumar was not ready with the final draft for Mahesh to take the final call on the project. Close sources of Sukumar clarified that it takes six more months to get the bound script ready. Sukumar is testing his luck in production and is occupied with a bunch of projects. With some of his associates turning directors and Sukumar focused on production delayed the script work of Mahesh’s film.

There are also talks that Sukumar is not in great sync with the new team of writers which caused further delay. We have to wait to see if Mahesh waits for six more months for Sukumar or moves ahead with other interesting options.

The stupendous success of Rangasthalam has put director Sukumar in the top tier. He has already revealed that his next project will be with Superstar Mahesh Babu. Mythri Movie Makers are said to be backing this film which is going to mark the second collaboration of ‘1 Nenonnakadine’ team. However, there are speculations that the film has been shelved as Mahesh wasn’t convinced with the script narrated by Sukumar.

As per our sources, Sukumar is currently busy with script work with his team of associates. He initially narrated a period drama to Mahesh Babu and the latter wasn’t totally convinced with it. So, the Nannaku Prematho director is busy writing a new line that suits Mahesh’s mannerisms. There is no way Sukumar wants to lose the opportunity to direct Mahesh at this point of time. He giving his best to come up with a watertight script and get the nod from Mahesh Babu this time.

Sukumar and his team are now working on the script. Once they complete the draft, Sukumar will meet Mahesh to narrate it. If everything falls in place, this project will roll out once Mahesh wraps up Maharshi.

Talented director Sukumar scored the blockbuster of this decade with Rangasthalam and he is riding high on the film’s success. Superstar Mahesh Babu offered his next to Sukumar and the top director is busy penning a script that suits Superstar. Sukumar who spends ample time on the story is said to have been preparing three interesting scripts for Mahesh. The top director is in plans to impress Mahesh at any cost and start the film next year.

One among them is said to be a periodic drama set during post Independence. Sukumar will narrate all the three plots to Mahesh and will wait for Superstar’s call. The regular shoot will commence from May 2019 and Mythri Movie Makers will bankroll this prestigious project which will be made on a huge budget. The makers already paid hefty pay cheques for Mahesh Babu and Sukumar.
