Big news coming from Kalki 2898 AD Team

Prabhas is almost done with the shoot of Kalki 2898 AD and it is directed by national-award-winning director Nag Ashwin. The film is gearing up for release soon and it is out of May release due to various reasons. The team of Kalki 2898 AD announced that the new release date of the film will be out on April 17th along with a new poster. As per the update, Kalki 2898 AD is targeting June 20th release. Though the team wanted to release the film on May 30th, the final VFX work will stay pending and it would be a rush.

The team is also planning some aggressive set of promotions in the month of May. Prabhas is currently in Europe and he would return back for the promotions of the film. Fans of pan-Indian actor Prabhas are in for a good time as the shooting of ‘Project K’ moves at a fast clip. The superstar has just wrapped up another schedule of his upcoming movie, ‘Project K’ in Hyderabad.

A source close to the actor reveals, “Prabhas has now completed one more schedule of Project K, in Hyderabad. The schedule was about a week long, which was wrapped up on 21st July, shot at Ramoji Film City.”

The film is directed by Nag Ashwin, and also features Deepika Padukone in the female lead. The source adds, “This schedule majorly consisted of solo scenes of Prabhas, and a couple of scenes with Deepika also. With this schedule, Prabhas has wrapped up major chunk of the much awaited film.”

Apart from ‘Project K’, the ‘Bahubali’ star has four other pan-Indian films under his belt. These include ‘Salaar’ opposite Shruti Hassan and ‘Adipurush’ with Kriti Sanon and Saif Ali Khan.

‘Project K’ director Nag Ashwin writes to Railway Minister on Tirupathi station design

‘Mahanati’ director Nag Ashwin has taken to Twitter to express his dissatisfaction with the proposed architectural design for Tirupathi’s new railway station.

The architectural designs of the yet-to-be-built railway station in Tirupathi were shared by Ashwini Vaishnaw, Union Minister for Railways, and it drew criticism. The designs were panned by many Internet users.

Adding his voice to the chorus, Ashwin also urged the minister to appoint someone who is familiar with India’s rich architectural heritage.

“Dear sir�as u might have seen in the comments�nobody likes this�The design looks like some generic western copy, some bad IT park� tirupati is sacred, spiritual�lets get ppl to design it who understand the rich architecture of India..and not this glass n steel copies,” Nag Ashwin wrote to the minister on Twitter.

The director, who is known for his openness, never hesitates to express his thoughts on important issues, and he is also willing to seek assistance with his films.

The young filmmaker is currently intrigued in the making of ‘Project K’ with Prabhas, and had sought support from the Mahindra Group for advanced automobiles.

Director Nag Ashwin, who is currently handling the pan-India venture titled ‘Project K’ with Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, and Amitabh Bachchan as the lead actors, has requested business tycoon Anand Mahindra, for his help.

The visionary director, who created the world of the late legendary actress Savitri for her biopic ‘Mahanati’, sought help from Anand Mahindra the chairman of the Mahindra Group.

Nag Ashwin’s tweet requesting Anand Mahindra to bail him out with some engineering works related to his movie, wrote a lengthy note.

“Dear Anand Mahindra sir�we are making an Indian sci-fi film with Mr.Bachchan, Prabhas and Deepika called Project K A few vehicles we are building for this world are unique and beyond the tech of today.”

“If this film does what it is supposed to, it will be the pride of our nation”, Nag Ashwin conveyed.

“I admire you a lot sir. We have a talented, fully Indian team of engineers and designers. But the scale of the project is such that we could use a hand. Such a film has never been attempted before.”

“It would be an honor if you can help us engineer the future. Project K”, he concluded.

Nag Ashwin’s request appears to be sincere, as he requested the noted tycoon to assist him with the big-ticket movie. Well, Anand Mahindra has not reacted to it yet.
