Academic standards in AP reached the button-level, says TDP MLC

0

TDP leader and MLC Paruchuri Ashok Babu on Saturday alleged that teachers in the State are being subjected to harassment as they actively participated in the agitation programme against the State Government policy on the Pay Revision Commission (PRC).

Memos were served on 625 head masters of various schools in Srikakulam district and two teachers were placed under suspension at Anakapalle just because they attended their school just two minutes late. He said these incidents are evident that the State government is adopting a vengeful attitude towards the teaching community.

He said that lakhs of teachers have taken part in the agitation programme organised in Vijayawada against the PRC and the Chief Minister could not digest that the teachers, on such a large scale, took part in the strike. Thus, they are being subjected to persecution, he said.

The leaders of the teaching community were either threatened or enticed, the agitation programme somehow ended, he stated. Memos are served on the teachers as they could not upload the pictures of the toilets, Ashok Babu said adding that if there is any single individual in the State who is drawing salary every month without work it is only the Chief Minister.

The Chief Minister has absolutely no idea as to how to bring in reforms in the academic sector. On the one hand he says that he will reform the whole sector and on the other digital classes and rationalisation of schools are being encouraged.

Ashok Babu said that the academic sector is something different which the Chief Minister could not understand. It is not like pressing the button which the Chief Minister used to, he said and stated that painting the school buildings under Naadu-Nedu scheme or distributing sops under Amma Vadi are not part of encouraging the education system.

Drafting the teachers for Corona duty during the pandemic cost the lives of some teachers and the condition of the community is worse in Andhra Pradesh than in any other State, Ashok Babu said. It is really pathetic that some teachers are posted on duty to control the crowd near liquor shops, and some of them are asked to take pictures near bathrooms, he said and asked is this the way to bring in reforms in the sector, he asked.

In the periodical surveys conducted for every four years on educational standards, Andhra Pradesh is the lowest, Ashok Babu said and demanded that the State government take immediate measures to improve the system and should not put the teachers and students to untold hardships.

Locals hold protest seeking Bhadrachalam in AP

1

Telangana minister Puvvada Ajay’s demand for inclusion of five villages adjacent to Bhadrachalam town in Telangana raised greater controversy in the midst of floods. The Minister said that the temple town has an inundation threat from Godavari floods. He wanted AP to give five villages to Telangana so that they could build a flood bank along the temple town.

The AP ministers have reacted sharply to this demand. While Minister Ambati Rambabu and former minister Perni Nani ridiculed the demand, another Minister Botsa Satyanarayana asked for the merger of the two Telugu states. He also wanted Telangana to give Hyderabad to Andhra Pradesh.

The AP leaders took strong exception to the demand and advised the Telangana minister not to create controversy and conflict between the two Telugu states.

As if the demand itself was not enough, the Telangana minister said that his party MPs were working to place a demand in the Parliament for the merger of five villages from Etapaka mandal, which are now part of Andhra Pradesh.

This seems to have irked the local leaders who have started holding protests in these five villages of Etapaka, Kannayigudem, Purushottapatnam, Gundala and Pichukalapadu, located around Bhadrachalam town.

The residents led by the ruling YSR Congress leaders held a protest on Friday demanding that Bhadrachalam town be merged with Andhra Pradesh instead of taking five villages from Andhra Pradesh. Local MPTC member Varsa Balakrishna, led the protest against the Telangana demand for taking over five villages.

These leaders said that Bhadrachalam belonged to Andhra Pradesh till 1959, when it was merged with the Khammam district for administrative purposes. They wanted the Telangana government to give back Bhadrachalam to Andhra Pradesh instead of asking for five villages from Andhra Pradesh.

Jagan to meet party workers from Aug 4

0

YSR Congress president and chief minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy had finally made up his mind to meet the party workers. He would meet at least 50 active workers from every Assembly constituency and encourage them to take active part ahead of the elections.

Jagan Mohan Reddy held a meeting with the party district unit presidents and the party regional coordinators on Friday. He told them to start working hard to win the 2024 general elections. He also told them to counter the opposition and a section of the media’s campaign against the government and the ruling party.

Jagan Mohan Reddy said he would start the meetings with the party active workers from August 4. He further said that he would release the schedule for these meetings shortly and inform the activists ahead of the meeting.

He emphasised the need to create awareness among the people on the government’s programmes, particularly the cash benefit schemes. He had reiterated the need to make the ongoing door to door visit by the leaders and legislators a success.

Jagan asked the leaders to meet every beneficiary of every programme. He asked them to carry the list of beneficiaries of every scheme in their respective constituency area and cross check whether they received the benefit or not.

AP moving towards economic emergency, says TDP

0

Telugu Desam Party (TDP) senior leader K Pattabhi Ram on Friday said that Andhra Pradesh is fast moving towards economic emergency. He said that the economic indiscipline of the State has reached its peak and demanded that a white paper be published on the economic condition of the State. The TDP is ready for an open debate if the State Government publishes a white paper on the revenue, expenditure and other details on the financial condition of the State, he added.

The national and even the global media is publishing reports on the grave economic condition of the State but the ruling dispensation is only blaming and branding it as yellow media, he said. Expressing serious concern over the disturbing financial crisis the State is passing through, Pattabhi said that the total debts of Andhra Pradesh is far higher than any other State in the country.

But advisor to the Government Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy and an IAS officer Duvvuri Krishna are only comparing the financial condition with that of the Centre. How can the senior IAS officer claim that the economic discipline of the State is far better than the Centre, he said and asked whether he is a civil servant or a leader of the YSRCP.

Giving the details of the revenue, debt GDP and other details of Andhra Pradesh, he asked the State Government to come for an open debate on all these issues. “How can the ruling dispensation mention the GDP ratio during the TDP regime,” he asked and gave the details when the TDP was in power. From 2014 to 2016 it was 29 per cent while from 2017 to 2019 it was 8 per cent, he stated.

Even in taking over drafts and obtaining loans from the RBI, Andhra Pradesh is on top, he said and asked why the reports on the details are missing from the website of the Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) for the past three months, he asked. Pattabhi expressed serious concern over the confusing trends in the State economy and felt that Andhra Pradesh is fast moving towards economic emergency.

Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy, during a review on the education department, told the officials to equip all classrooms in the state with digital equipment for learning.

He said that students can obtain more knowledge through interactive displays, and smart teaching facilities, and inspected the equipment of various companies regarding the digital displays that are to be set up in government schools across the State. He ordered the officers to ensure that the projectors and interactive TVs are of good quality. He advised installing smart TVs from PP-1 to Class-2 and projectors from Class-3 onwards and ordered to complete the installation process in all the schools that were refurbished under Nadu-Nedu Phase-1.

People of Andhra Pradesh have more patience than Sri Lankans: Naidu

0

Andhra Pradesh’s former Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu said on Thursday that the people of the state have more patience than people of Sri Lanka.

Drawing a parallel between the situation of Andhra Pradesh and the island nation, he said since the people of the state have more patience, they have not revolted against Jagan Mohan Reddy government.

Addressing people during his visit to flood-affected areas in West Godavari district, the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) President pointed out that Andhra Pradesh has the highest inflation rate in the country. He said that Andhra Pradesh also has the highest outstanding public debts among all the states in the country.

The YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) government has burdened the common man with its wrong policies, he alleged.

The TDP expressed serious concern over the deeper financial crisis in Andhra Pradesh, which is pushing the state into the worst economic emergency.

The party has been saying for the past four months that the state is following the path of Sri Lanka.

Earlier, TDP MLA and Chairman of the Public Accounts Committee Payyavula Kesav said that the state government has borrowed funds four times more than Sri Lanka and challenged the Jagan Mohan Reddy government whether it is ready for an open and special audit.

The Centre has red-flagged ‘disturbing trends’ in the financial crisis of 10 states, including Andhra Pradesh and cited the economic crunch in Sri Lanka, Kesav said adding that high off-budget borrowings, escrowing of future revenue and loans secured against public assets are the primary reasons for this disastrous situation.

An in-depth study needs to be done on the financial situation as Andhra Pradesh is in the most perilous situation, he added. Pointing out that the Reserve Bank of India has prepared the risk analysis and the Union Finance Ministry has made a presentation on this in which Andhra Pradesh is either on top or in second place in all the index, Payyavula said that this risk analysis is made strictly on the guidelines of the International Monetary Fund (IMF).

“This is only a tip of the iceberg,” the TDP leader said and expressed serious concern that a special financial situation is prevailing in the State. Accounts for Rs 40,000 to Rs 50,000 crore are not made public yet and if this too comes out, then one can easily imagine the situation, he felt. The Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) should bring the facts to light and the qualifying certificate issued to the state by the CAG is unique as no other state till now got such certificate, he added.

If the state faces a situation like Sri Lanka, leaders may run away from the state but the common man is the worst-hit as he will not find a place to go. “We have earlier seen persons like Vijay Malya and (former Sri Lankan President) Gotabaya (Rajapaksa) running away leaving the people in the lurch,” he said.

Jagan credits Rs 137 cr to left-over beneficiaries, issues 3.10 lakh new cards

1

AP Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy, on Tuesday, credited Rs 137 crore into the accounts of 3,39,096 beneficiaries who were left out from receiving the benefits of welfare schemes and also provided fresh pension, arogyasri, and ration cards to 3.10 lakh families.

Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister said that his government is truly committed to the welfare of the poor. He said that the government brought this initiative to provide welfare schemes for those who are eligible and have not availed the benefits, twice every year.

The intention is to extend the welfare schemes to every eligible person in the State, he said, adding that the situation has changed since the inception of the YSRCP Government, and the benefits of the schemes are being delivered right at the doorstep of the beneficiaries.

The Chief Minister said that 2,99,085 new beneficiaries were added to YSR Pension Kanuka, while 7051 are getting Ration Cards and 3035 are being provided with Arogyasri Cards. With the fresh issue of cards, an additional expenditure of Rs 935 crore shall be borne by the State government, he said adding that the government is implementing every scheme with utmost responsibility in a transparent way without any discrimination.

The Chief Minister stated that the previous government had tried to minimise the number of beneficiaries by providing welfare schemes only to a select few people through ‘Janmabhoomi Committees’ and did its best to exclude as many people as possible.

Terming his government as the people’s government, he said that only eligibility is being taken as the criteria and extending the benefits in a transparent way irrespective of the caste, religion, or political affiliation of the beneficiary duly following the welfare calendar. He urged people to notice the difference between the two governments.

TS minister asks 5 villages from AP to save Bhadrachalam

1

Telangana Minister Puvvada Ajay had raised a fresh controversy between the two Telugu states, in the backdrop of flash floods to the Godavari river. His comments have a reason, but not justified, if one goes by the history.

Puvvada Ajay said that the temple town, Bhadrachalam has flood threat from the Godavari river because of the Polavaram project being constructed by Andhra Pradesh government. The temple town, according to him, will be marooned in the flood water at any point of time in future.

He said that the Telangana government had proposed to construct a flood control bank along the river to prevent inundation. However, he wanted transfer of five villages from Andhra Pradesh to Telangana to facilitate the construction of the flood bank.

He said without these five villages delegated to TS from AP, the flood bank can’t be constructed, he said and claimed that the TS MPs were moving a proposal to make amendments to the AP Reorganisation Act 2014, transferring the five villages.

Initially, seven mandals from Khammam districts were transferred to AP at the time of bifurcation of the State in 2014. Puvvada Ajay is now asking five villages from these seven mandals to be given back to Telangana.

But, the question is that Bhadrachalam originally belonged to Andhra Pradesh. They were part of Andhra Pradesh, to be specific, were part of the Godavari districts. They were merged with Khammam district for the benefit of administration after Andhra was merged with Telangana in 1956.

The Congress rulers have ignored this historical fact when they were bifurcating the state in 2014. Since the TS minister had raised the issue of flood threat to Bhadrachalam, it is better if TS gives back Bhadrachalam to AP, restoring AP’s original rights over the temple town, rather than asking for five villages from AP.

No SCS for AP, reiterates Centre

1

The Union government had once again categorically stated that there would be no special category status (SCS) for Andhra Pradesh. This was cleared by Union Minister of State for Home, Nityanand Rai in Lok Sabha on Tuesday.

The Minister gave a written reply to TDP MP, K Ramamohan Naidu, who raised the question during the Question Hour. The Minister said that the Fourteenth and Fifteenth finance commissions have not differentiated between the states having the Special Category Status and General Category Status.

He said that the finance commissions have recommended an increase in the devolution of taxes from the Centre to the states from 32 per cent in the past to 42 per cent. However, this was revised to 41 per cent from 2020-21 to 2026 due to creation of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, the Minister said.

On the provisions of the AP Reorganisation Act of 2014, the Union Minister said majority of the provisions have already been implemented and they are at various stages. He said that the grant of several Central institutions were started in Andhra Pradesh after bifurcation.

The Minister said that some issues were pending for resolution between Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. The Union Home Ministry was holding consultations with the two States on the issues and expressed confidence that they would be resolved and settled amicably at the earliest.

Well, going by the statement of the minister, it is now clear that the Central government would not give the Special Category Status, whatever the number of representations that the ruling YSR Congress would give to the Central government or even Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Jagan names 50 MLAs, threatens to drop them in 2024!

0

Chief Minister and YSR Congress president, Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy had named at least 50 MLAs as non-performing or poor performing legislators. He said he would not hesitate to refuse tickets to them in the next election, if they failed to change their approach towards the party and the people.

The chief minister expressed his anger at the MLAs who did not take the Gadapa Gadapa ku mana prabhutvam programme of the party. He said several MLAs were either not visiting the people nor doing it without meeting the people.

Jagan Mohan Reddy said winning the next 2024 election was important to him as he had been spending huge amounts of government money on the people. He claimed that no government had spent so much money so far on the people and asserted that this government should win the next election too.

He told them that he had been working hard to implement the party’s 2019 election manifesto despite the Covid pandemic. “When I am working so hard, why are you not working,” he asked them.

He also told them that the MLA’s proximity with the people is important to win the election. “If you have goodwill with me alone, it doesn’t help you win the next election. So have goodwill with the people,” Jagan Mohan Reddy told them.

The chief minister also announced the release of orders giving Rs 2 crore to each MLA to spend in their constituency. He said that the government would also issue orders giving Rs 20 lakh to each of the village and ward secretariats for the developmental works.

Jagan told the MLAs to utilise these funds, do good for the people and win their confidence to win the next election.

He also gave them 8 months to improve their performance or else he would bring new faces wherever the sitting MLAs fail!

AP – where all parties vote stood united

1

The three political parties in Andhra Pradesh have come together on one issue for the first time. There is no difference of opinion among them. Perhaps AP is the only state where the parties having representation in the Assembly have unanimity.

The occasion is the Presidential election. The ruling YSR Congress Party, Opposition Telugu Desam Party and the junior partner, Jana Sena have come to an understanding in this election. All the three parties are voting for a single candidate in the Presidential election.

The ruling YSR Congress had extended its support to the BJP-sponsored NDA candidate, Droupadi Murmu, in the presidential election. The party has 151 MLAs, 22 Lok Sabha members and 9 Rajya Sabha members. The party claimed that its support is because of the candidate who represents the Scheduled Tribes.

A little later, the opposition TDP too had extended its support to the NDA candidate claiming that it had supported K R Narayanan (SC), A P J Adbul Kalam (Minorities) and Ram Nath Kovind (SC) in the past in the presidential elections. The TDP too would back Droupadi Murmu (ST) in the present election.

The Jana Sena, which has one MLA in the Assembly, neither announced its support nor declined. The MLA is, for all practical purposes, identified as the Jana Sena member in the Assembly. However, the party has had no contact with its lone MLA Rapaka Vara Prasada Rao, since his election. He has been working with the ruling party from the day one and thus he toed the line of the ruling YSR Congress.

Thus, the three parties have common understanding, not on issues concerning the state or its people, but in the presidential election!

Suspected monkeypox patient in Andhra tests negative

0

The first suspected monkeypox case in Andhra Pradesh’s Vijayawada created a scare but the health authorities clarified on Sunday that the child has tested negative for the disease.

Andhra Pradesh’s Commissioner for Medical, Health and Family wWelfare J. Nivas said that the two-year-old girl has routine skin rashes. There is no need to panic, he said.

The child, who had gone to Dubai with her family, was found to have skin rashes on her return. The suspected case was referred to the Old Government General Hospital in Vijayawada. The samples were sent to National Institute of Virology, Pune but tested negative for monkeypox.

After the family returned to Vijayawada on July 11, she developed rashes. Her parents consulted a paediatrician, who referred the case to the government hospital on suspicion that these could be symptoms of monkeypox.

The girl, who had more rashes on face, was kept in isolation at Old GGH. Her family members and close contacts were in home isolation.

India reported its first case of monkeypox in Kerala on July 15. The infected person, who returned from abroad, was hospitalised and he tested positive.

According to the World Health Organisation (WHO), monkeypox is a viral zoonosis (a virus transmitted to humans from animals) with symptoms similar to those seen in the past in smallpox patients, although it is clinically less severe.

The virus originates in wild animals and then spreads to people. There are two main variants – the Congo strain – up to 10 per cent mortality, and the West African strain – a 1 per cent fatality rate.

The person tests positive for the virus when they come into close physical contact with an infected animal, especially one that is sick or dead. This includes contact with meat or blood. The WHO said that in nations where the virus is endemic or circulating, all meat should be thoroughly cooked before eating.

Jagan is sleeping in home, when people are homeless, sleepless

1

Opposition TDP leaders have their own oratory style, which takes them close to the people and makes people believe whatever they speak. Though not on par with Telangana chief minister KCR, the oratory skills of the TDP leaders draw better attention.

Former minister Devineni Umamaheswara Rao is one such leader who can spin words at ease. He hurls power packed words at the rivals which give energy to the cadre and are taken well by the people.

His statement on Sunday was one like that with rhythm. He said that thousands of people along the Godavari river have become homeless and were spending sleepless nights because of the flash floods.

On the contrary, he said chief minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy was sleeping in his Tadepalli palace and was sleeping happily. “When people have no homes and no sleep, how can a chief minister sleep happily in his home,” the former minister asked.

He drew parallel between Jagan Mohan Reddy and his predecessor and TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu during calamities like floods and cyclones hit the state. He said Chandrababu Naidu had visited the areas where disasters struck and guided the officials on the relief and rehabilitation work while Jagan Mohan Reddy sleeps in his house.

He wondered why Jagan Mohan Reddy was not giving confidence to the people by standing with them in the hour of crisis as Chandrababu Naidu did in the past. He felt that the chief minister, as head of the state, should stay with the people in their difficulties and regretted that Jagan Mohan Reddy was not bothered about the crisis in which people are caught.

The TDP leader and former minister wanted the chief minister to step out of his Tadepalli palace at least now and help the people. He also asked the chief minister to visit the flood-hit areas on foot and see the damage caused to them because of the flash floods to the Godavari river.

Jagan done autowala, gives Rs 261.52 crore under YSR Vahana Mitra

0

AP chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy became an auto driver for a couple of hours in Visakhapatnam as he disbursed Rs 261.52 crore for 2.61 lakh auto drivers under Vahana Mithra scheme.

Wearing a khakhi shirt like an auto driver, Jagan Mohan Reddy spent some time with the auto drivers. He also sat in an auto driven by a woman driver.

Later, addressing the gathering, the Chief Minister said that the amount of Rs 10,000 is for the recurring expenses like insurance, fitness certificate, and maintenance of the vehicle, which was promised during the 3,648 km padayatra.

He stated that the scheme was also provided during the Covid crisis, to stand by them in tough times. He urged the drivers to get insurance and fitness certificates for their vehicles, as passengers will also experience safe travel.

Recalling the three-year governance, the Chief Minister stated that over Rs 1000 crores was spent towards Vahana Mitra, benefiting lakhs of drivers and those who are left out can still apply at village/ward secretariats. He said that his government is moving ahead prioritizing both welfare and development and stated that almost Rs 1.62 lakh crore was directly credited into the beneficiaries’ accounts in a transparent manner without any corruption or discrimination.

He asked people to notice the difference between the previous and present government, where the current government is delivering welfare schemes, while the previous one only focused on ‘looting and sharing’ instead of serving the poor.

AP to launch family doctor scheme from Aug 15

The Andhra Pradesh government had decided to launch a new scheme – family doctor – from August 15. The scheme would have direct contact for the people with the doctor working in the nearest Primary Health Centre (PHC).

The PHCs in the state would be digitalised and every patient details would be uploaded into a portal. The patents ailments, blood group, emergency contact, previous treatment, the medicines that the patient is using and other information will be uploaded into the portal.

This information would be available even to the district headquarters hospitals in the state, where the patient can walk in and get the treatment done. The patient need not carry any files along as the information is available online.

Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy, who reviewed the health department on Wednesday told the officials to keep all government hospitals and the PHCs ready to launch the scheme. The chief minister also told them to make sure the doctors and other staff members are recruited for every PHC and the government hospitals across the state before the launch of the scheme.

The chief minister also told the officials to start implementing the new Aarogyasri programme from August 1. The programme would have additional medical procedures – both clinical and surgical – are added to the existing scheme.

YSR Congress president and chief minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy introduced his party MPs and MLAs to NDA presidential candidate Droupadi Murmu at a private function hall in Mangalagiri of Guntur district on Tuesday.

Union Minister for Culture and Tourism G Kishan Reddy accompanied Murmu while BJP AP president Somu Veerraju, MPs C M Ramesh, G V L Narasimha Rao, MLC P V N Madhav and others received her at the airport.

Murmu had arrived at Gannavaram airport and drew straight to the chief minister’s camp office in Tadepalli, where the chief minister hosted a high team in honour of Murmu. Later, they went to the function hall, where the MPs and MLAs were waiting.

Speaking on behalf of the party, Jagan Mohan Reddy said that the party had extended unconditional support to Murmu who belonged to the ST community. He said that the YSR Congress has been in the forefront in promoting social justice in the state. He said that the party had given due representation to the neglected sections and women in all positions.

The chief minister emphasised the need to vote for Murmu to give due share to the Scheduled Tribes in the country and make them part of this democracy. He wanted his party MPs and MLAs to ensure that the vote was cast properly and informed them that the party would conduct a mock poll at the Assembly premises on July 18, a couple of hours before the actual polling began.

YSR Congress Parliamentary Party leader, V Vijayasai Reddy, who welcomed Murmu to the meeting explained how social justice is being implemented in Andhra Pradesh under the leadership of Jagan Mohan Reddy.

BJP state president Somu Veerraju thanked the YSR Congress for its support to the NDA candidate. He said that Andhra Pradesh is the only state where both the ruling and opposition parties have extended support to the NDA candidate.

Union Minister Kishan Reddy announced that Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other senior leaders including Union Ministers have requested Jagan Mohan Reddy to support the NDA candidate in the presidential election. Thus, he discounted BJP general secretary Sathya Kumar’s statement that no one had asked for Jagan Mohan Reddy’s support to NDA in the presidential election.

With more rainfall predicted for state, AP CM focuses on 4 vulnerable districts

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y. S. Jagan Mohan alerted District Collectors to be vigilant as IMD predicts heavy rain in the next two days during a video conference meeting on Tuesday.

As a precautionary measure, the chief minister has released Rs 2 crore each to four districts – Eluru, Alluri Seetharama Raju, East Godavari, and Dr Ambedkar Konaseema – which are prone to floods and heavy rainfall. He also directed other collectors to feel free and send any requests to Chief Secretary and CMO, who are available round the clock.

Abnormally high water discharges of as much as 13 lakh cusecs have been recorded in early July in the Godavari, which is very alarming. Since Maharastra expected to receive more rainfall, it is expected that water levels in the Godavari will rise further.

The chief minister directed the district authorities to ensure that flood relief centres are adequately stocked. “Food, blankets, and clean toilets should be maintained and monitored. People leaving the camps should receive Rs 2,000 per family or Rs 1,000 per person, whichever is reasonable” said the Chief Minister.

“Two NDRF teams have been deployed in Kunavaram and Chittoor while four SDRF teams in other districts,” CM said.

He directed the collectors to set up control rooms in the district and ensure that it was operational and monitored round the clock. Further, the line department should be prepared with alternatives, and SOP followed, the chief minister said.

The Chief Minister also asked the collectors to send daily reports of losses and damage in the districts.
