Megastar Chiranjeevi is basking high on the super success of Syeraa. The actor is on a break and he signed a social drama in the direction of Koratala Siva. The film which got delayed due to Syeraa will have its official launch tomorrow on the auspicious day of Dasara. The regular shoot will commence from November and will be wrapped up in quick schedules.
Koratala Siva completed the pre-production formalities and the cast, crew details will be announced tomorrow. Matinee Entertainments along with Konidela Production Company will produce this prestigious film. The makers are keen on releasing the film during summer 2020. Koratala Siva is said to have penned an intense social drama that is laced with all the commercial ingredients.
Koratala Siva to go without DSP for the first time
After working with ace composer Devi Sri Prasad for four consecutive films, blockbuster director Koratala Siva has decided to opt for a change. As per the latest buzz, the Srimanthudu director has roped in Bollywood composer duo Ajay – Atul to render the soundtrack for Megastar Chiranjeevi’s soon-to-be launched big budget entertainer. Ajay – Atul has to credit albums like Sairat, Super 30, Thugs of Hindustan etc.
Koratala Siva initially wanted to reunite with DSP again and finalised him when the project was officially confirmed. But, he has now made up his mind and decided to bring a Bollywood composer on board to extract novel tunes. Siva is known for his great music sense and his previous films got chartbuster albums. He has now opted for a change to bring some Bollywood flavour to the album.
Chiranjeevi’s upcoming release SyeRaa is a pan India film. So, Koratala Siva’s film is bound to create strong buzz before it goes on floors. Hence, bringing a Bollywood composer is a good idea. Koratala Siva – Chiru flick based on a sensitive issue
After presenting Mahesh Babu as good samaritan in Srimanthudu and NTR as a nature lover in Janatha Garage, director Koratala Siva is once again planning to come up with a socially relevant theme in his next film which will have Megastar Chiranjeevi in the lead role. The formal launch of this much awaited project will happen in August and the regular shooting will commence from November.
Like in his previous films, the Bharat Ane Nenu director has locked a strong social drama for Chiranjeevi. As per the latest buzz, the film’s plot is set in the backdrop of naxalism. Sources revealed that Koratala has penned dual roles for Chiru and the story will highlight some of sensitive issues relating to naxalites and also presents their darker side in a way that was never showcased before.
Blending commercial elements with social theme is Koratala’s forte and Chiru’s film will be no different. Nayanatara is the forerunner to play the film’s leading lady. It is heard that Ram Charan is likely to play a cameo in this film.

Megastar Chiranjeevi completed his part for Syeraa and he is closely monitoring the post-production work. The actor is losing weight for his next film which is a social drama that will be directed by Koratala Siva. As per the update, Nayanthara is on board as the lead actress in this film. The formal launch of Chiru and Koratala Siva’s flick will happen in mid July and the regular shooting will commence from August. New-age directors Sukumar and Koratala Siva have just delivered the biggest box office hits in their respective careers. It has already been two months since the release of Rangasthalam and Bharat Ane Nenu. Both these directors are now taking a long break before they start prepping up for their next projects.
Sukumar already announced that he will work with Mahesh Babu up next. As Mahesh has Vamshi Paidipalli’s film in the pipeline first, Sukumar’s film might start only in Summer next year. Though Sukumar was supposed to team up with Allu Arjun immediately after Rangasthalam, it looks like he has dropped the plans and decided to wait for Mahesh Babu till 2019 for his next project.
Similarly, Koratala Siva will also need to bide time until Megastar Chiranjeevi completes his upcoming film.Though Koratala has been approached to direct youngsters like Nani and Akhil for his next project after Bharat Ane Nenu, he is preferring to wait for Chiranjeevi.
