Mythri Movie Makers is undoubtedly one of the prestigious production houses of Tollywood. They earned enough money and huge respect for the projects Srimanthudu and Janatha Garage. Naveen Yerneni, Yalamanchili Ravi Shankar and Cherukuri Mohan are the partners. Within a short time, they managed to pick up the dates of top technicians and directors. They are currently busy producing Ram Charan’s Rangasthalam 1985 in the direction of Sukumar and Naga Chaitanya’s Savyasachi in the direction of Chandoo Mondeti.

Along with these, they have several other projects in pipeline and here are the 12 films that are locked by Mythri Movie Makers:

Successful production house Mythri Movie Makers is lined up with numerous crazy projects for the next couple of years. The noted production house is currently busy with Ram Charan’s Rangasthalam and Naga Chaitanya’s Savyasachi.

Now, the latest update reveals that Mythri Movie Makers is going to join hands with Big Ben Cinemas to co-produce Vijay Devarakonda’s next project which has debutant Bharat Kamma at the helm. The film was announced in May, but further details have not been revealed so far.

An intense poster featuring Vijay with bruises and cuts was unveiled long back and the progress of the film will be officially announced very soon. The backing of two renowned production houses is surely going to create more buzz on this film.

SPYder released during Dusshera season failed to live up to the expectations and now almost all buyers lost heavily on this movie. Seems this movie was initially offered to Mythri makers only.

Mahesh babu offered SPYder project to them as they did well with Srimanthudu. He asked Mythri makers to talk to Murugadoss about the project. They went to Chennai and spent two days discussing about the project with Murugadoss . After discussions, they felt it is not a right project for them due to two reasons – one, Budget is very high and two, they will not have any control on the project with Murugadoss at the helm.

Indeed their instinct turned out to be true now.So, to be a successful producer it is not just the projects you pick, but also projects that you don’t pick is super critical. Mythri is doing well on that aspect so far.

Nani’s ‘Chitralahari’ with top production house

One of the bankable actors in the current generation with high success rate, Natural Star Nani is continuing to sign impressive projects by handpicking good combinations. He is occupied with a healthy lineup of films for the next couple of years. Simultaneously shooting for MCA and Krishnarjuna Yuddham, which are nearing completion, Nani has already given the nod to Hanu Raghavapudi. Also, he is in talks for Vikram Kumar’s next film.

As per the latest reports, the Ninnu Kori actor will soon team up with talented director Kishore Tirumala for an out and out entertainer. Mythri Movie Makers will back this project and they are considering Chitralahari as the title. The regular shooting might commence next year.

So, their collaboration with a successful star like Nani and bringing a talented filmmaker like Kishore Tirumala will surely raise the expectations on the film among trade circles. After Agnatavaasi, as we reported Mythri movie makers planning a movie with Power start Pawan Kalyan with Kandireega director Santhosh. Director is ready with bound script. However, sources close to Pawan are telling now that this movie might never go floors.

As per the sources, Pawan Kalyan is seriously considering to jump onto political bandwagon full-fledgedly. There are rumours swirling around that there will be elections in October 2018 itself instead of 2019 May. So PK wants to start building his party organization and not repeat the mistake of Chirajeevi during “Prajarajyam” i.e. to jump into politics without proper organization.

Mythri makers gave advance long back and are also waiting to see what Pawan’s plans are. Whether Pawan will go as he has taken the advance or he will cancel the project. Pawan is one star her who doesn’t mind cancelling movies. He cancelled AM Ratnam, Nesan combination move that was launched last year. So, if indications coming from Pawan circle are true, after “Agnatavaasi” it might be a while until we see Pawan on screen as this will be his last movie before elections 2018-19.

Powerstar Pawan Kalyan, who is fast finishing the shooting formalities of his upcoming film in Trivikram’s direction, has long back committed to do a film for Mythri Movie Makers. While there are reports that Pawan will take a long break after this film owing to his political commitments, it is exclusively learnt that the pre production activities for his next film will commence very soon.

Telugu360 has been informed by a little birdie that Santosh Srinivas has already locked the script for this film. Reportedly, the film is going to be a cop drama which will be on the lines of Tamil film Theri, which has Vijay in the lead. However, the film will not be a remake of Theri. The first half of Theri will be retained for the Telugu version and the second half will be completely different one.

Theri released in Telugu as Policeodu. So, Santosh Srinivas has come up with an entirely different story for the second half. The start date of this interesting project will be revealed very soon.

Mythri movie makers, the production banner, that entered Tollywood with a blockbuster like “Srimanthudu” seems to have changed it’s track. So far they have made the movies like “Srimanthudu”, Janatha Garage” and yet to release “Ranga Sthalam”.

Mythri movies used to tell to the industry folks that they will make movies only with top 5 directors and top 5 heroes. In fact this is what they did – they gave advances to top heroes and top directors. Koratala, Sukumar, Mahesh, NTR and Ram Charan – these guys are all on top league.

But now they seem to have compromised or to put in other words, “they seem to have changed their track”. They are currently doing “Savyasachi” movie with Naga chaitanya in the direction of Chandu – and both of these guys are not in top league, at least for now. In another interesting development, now they gave the director Sandeep of Arjun Reddy, an advance of INR 50 lakhs. Of course, there is nothing wrong to make small movies or to work with small or medium range heroes and directors. In fact it is a good sign. But only thing, the makers themselves used to boast of themselves as the production banner that works only with top league heroes and directors.

Hope, they will give similar blockbusters with the small/ medium range heroes and directors too

Top production house to back NBK – Boyapati flick ?

Nandamuri Balakrishna, who is on a signing spree, will soon team up with Boyapati Srinu for the third time after Simha and Legend. The duo have already announced that they are in plans to repeat their success streak with another powerful flick. This project is likely to commence once NBK wraps his 102 and 103 films.

Telugu360 has exclusively learnt that Mythri Movie Makers, one of leading and successful production houses in Tollywood at present, are trying hard to associate with this film. It is learnt that they are in deep discussions with Boyapati Srinu from the past few days. Sources say that the producers got involved in story sittings a couple of times and are keen to back this project.

We have to wait for a few more days to get more clarity on this news. Mythri Movies is currently busy bankrolling Ram Charan’s Rangasthalam.

Charan turns Chitti Babu

Mega Powerstar Ram Charan changed his track with Dhruva and is keen on signing interesting films. He is shooting for his next movie in the direction of Sukumar and is touted to be a village based romantic entertainer. An interesting update from the movie unit says that Charan will be seen as Chitti Babu and he will be essaying the role of a fisherman in the film. Repalle is the title under consideration for the film, which is currently shooting across Godavari banks.

Charan will be seen in a deglam look for the first time with thick beard dressed in village attire. Samantha is the female lead in the movie and Devi Sri Prasad is the music composer. Sukumar who is known for his interesting titles is keen on locking Repalle for the movie. Mythri Movie Makers are producing this movie which is set for October release this year.

Shooting without mobile was good: Rathnavelu

Well-known cinematographer Rathnavelu on Monday said challenging as it was to shoot without mobile coverage for an upcoming yet-untitled Telugu film, there was something good about the experience.

Rathnavelu is currently working on Ram Charan’s project with director Sukumar.

“The 20 days without mobile network filming in Godavari district was a nightmare! Coming back to city realised the mobile detox was good though,” Rathnavelu tweeted.

The makers over the weekend completed the film’s first schedule in Rajahmundry.

A rural-based romantic saga, the film has a 1980s backdrop. It also stars Samantha Ruth Prabhu.

Ram Charan has gone fully rural for this project.

The film is being produced by Mythri Movie Makers.

Trivikram Srinivas to team up with Powerstar again

If the ongoing buzz in the film circles and media is to be believed, Powerstar Pawan Kalyan and ace filmmaker Trivikram Srinivas will team up for the third time in their careers. Earlier they have worked for Jalsa and Attarinitiki Daredhi. Both these films fared exceptionally well and ended as blockbuster hits at the box office.

It is learnt that Mythri Movie Makers, who made their debut with Srimanthudu, will shepherd the project which is likely to go on floors by the end of next year. They are currently busy with the pre production work of their next film which will be directed by Koratala Siva featuring NTR and Samantha.
A close source to the production house has disclosed that they are willing to pay hefty remuneration to both Trivikram and Pawan Kalyan for the project. Both of them are currently working for their upcoming projects which will be wrapped up early next year.

Trivikram’s A..Aa will hit the screens in January and Pawan Kalyan’s Sardar Gabbar Singh will release in April. We have to wait for an official confirmation regarding the ongoing buzz.

Super Star Mahesh Babu is coming as Srimanthudu this friday. Stage is set for a grand release and the buzz is off the charts as the release date is nearing. As per the censor certificate of the film, run time of the movie is 163 minutes. At 2 hours and 43 minutes (including the statutory warnings), Srimanthudu has the perfect run time for an action entertainer. Srimanthudu did extraordinary pre release business and  advance booking for the film is very encouraging.
