YCP MLA sensational comments: Nellore mafias

0

Has YCP Venkatagiri MLA Anam Ramanarayana Reddy raised a banner of revolt against Jagan Circar? He made sensational comments on the deteriorated law and order in Nellore city. He says that like never before, Nellore is getting crushed under the iron grip of all kinds of mafias. Name any mafia, it is there in the city. Ramanarayana Reddy said that there are land, betting and liquor mafias striking constant fear in the hearts of the people. Average person is not able to speak out and they are silently suffering.

Ramanarayana Reddy has been ignored in YCP Regime though he was a former minister in the Congress rule. At that time, he even attacked and called Jagan Reddy an economic terrorist. But prior to 2019 election, he joined YCP and got elected as MLA. For quite sometime, Ramanarayana Reddy is unhappy with the goings-on in Nellore. Officials are fearing to work in Nellore. Four SPs were changed in just five years indicating the level of mafia interference.

YCP cards festival to bind over voters for local polls

0

AP CM Jaganmohan Reddy is unhesitatingly taking forward his votebank politics with a single-minded determination. He could not pass on to voters even minimum expected benefits under Navaratnalu Cash Transfer promises till now. There is no enough money in the government treasury for that. Poorer sections of people are slowly expressing their unhappiness already. Regardless of this, Jagan Reddy is preparing to use another master strategy to bind over these voters ahead of local body elections.

In the next two months, AP Circar is going to give one card to each beneficiary for every Navaratnalu and other welfare programmes being newly introduced. So, there will be plenty of beneficiary cards in every poor household. The plan is to make available at least nine to ten such cards in each poor family possession. However, the cards will not be enough to get the final benefits. The voters should make sure that YCP candidates win in the local body elections which will come afterwards.

The ruling party leaders, Grama Volunteers and Grama Sachivalayam staff will be warning voters about this. If YCP loses in a particular village, the beneficiaries there will not get any government benefits. TDP played similar tricks during Pasupu Kumkuma benefits distribution during last general election but it had to bite the dust eventually.

Amaravati a graveyard? TDP privilege notice to Botsa

2

YCP Minister Botsa Satyanarayana’s comment comparing Amaravati to a burial ground has badly hurt the feelings of different sections of people especially TDP and other opposition leaders. Has Botsa hurt the feelings of employees working in Secretariat in Capital City area? Judges and advocates are working in High Court which is also there. Assembly is also functioning from Amaravati. Then, the CM, Ministers, MLAs, IAS officers and all others are working from the same graveyard city going by Botsa comment.

Former Minister Yanamala Ramakrishna describes this as the most heinous attempt to defame Andhra Capital. He said that the TDP would not take it kindly and it is going to issue a privilege notice to Botsa. Undoubtedly, the Minister has passed unparliamentary comments on the legislature and the Assembly which are as of now functioning from the heart of Amaravati.

The TDP said that Botsa Satyanarayana would not have this audacity if there is no support from CM Jaganmohan Reddy who has been on a mission to demolish Andhra Capital from day one. YCP won two MLA seats in Amaravati Capital City area but Jagan Reddy has no minimum respect to the city.

YCP simply ignores Centre’s approval for Amaravati?

1

The YCP Government is appealing to the Amaravati Capital City farmers not to fall into the trap of Ex CM Chandrababu Naidu on the issue of their lands. The ruling party leaders are getting ready to counter Naidu ahead of his visit to Amaravati on November 28. This is going to be the first visit of Naidu to Capital City after the Modi government at the Centre put its stamp of approval on Amaravati by indicating it as AP Capital City in India Political Map.

Now, almost for the first time after Centre’s Amaravati approval, YCP Minister Botsa Satyanarayana announced that their government will take action only based on the GN Rao Experts Committee report. The report is expected soon. Without talking about India map, Botsa says that Chandrababu Naidu pooled 30,000 acres and spent Rs 4,500 Cr on Amaravati but he didn’t complete even 5 per cent of the Capital City works.
The Minister said that their government would have completed Amaravati if TDP finished at least 70 per cent works in the previous five years of its regime. Botsa gave all indications of their government’s total indifference to the Centre’s stamp of approval for Amaravati.

Raghurama Raju counter to Sujana ‘In touch’ comment

0

YCP Narasapur MP Raghurama Krishnam Raju issued a sharp counter against BJP MP Sujana Chowdary’s controversial comment. Raju clarified that he had social touch only but not political touch with the BJP top leaders in the national capital. He further said that MPs of different parties usually meet and greet each other in the Central Hall of Parliament. This doesn’t mean that they are in touch to change parties.

Raghurama Raju took strong objection to Sujana comments. Such statements would send wrong message to others causing needless inconvenience. He asserted that it would be Sujana Chowdary who might join YCP because of the growing popularity of CM Jaganmohan Reddy’s welfare programmes in Andhra Pradesh.
Raju said that Sujana told total lies on the issue of YCP MPs being in touch with him. He might have made this as a casual remark but that has been blown out of proportion in the media. Because of such controversial statements, leaders would have to give their explanations to their party leaderships. Raju is at the centre of many controversies within YCP recently.

“Operation Lotus” to weaken Jagan & YSRCP!

0

The BJP central leadership is learnt to have decided to undertake ‘Operation Lotus” in Andhra Pradesh to weaken AP CM YS Jaganmohan Reddy and the ruling YSRCP.

The aim of Operation Lotus is to lure as many YSRCP MLAs and MPs into BJP fold and push CM Jagan and ruling YSRCP into a defensive mode.

BJP’s Operation Lotus in Karnataka was proved successful recently as it could dethrone the Congress-JDS government by luring JDS, Congress MLAs into its fold.

BJP now wants to adopt the same “Karnataka strategy’ In AP to weaken YSRCP.

The BJP central leadership is learnt to have deputed few party leaders to hold negotiations with YSRCP MPs and MLAs who are ready to jump the fence, if they are given specific assurances on their political and business interests.

YSRCP Lok Sabha member Raghuram Krishnam Raju created a furore by speaking against Jagan’s decision to introduce English Medium in all government schools replacing Telugu in Lok Sabha three days ago.

As this was not enough, Prime Minister Narendra Modi greeted Krishnam Raju fondly as “Raju garu” on Thursday, when PM noticed Raju standing in the Parliament Central Hall when he was leaving the Parliament.

This triggered speculations that BJP is trying to lure Krishnam Raju into its fold.

Krishnam Raju has several business interests and it is learnt that the BJP central leadership has assured to protect his business interests if he joins BJP.

Rajya Sabha member Sujana Chowdhary, now with BJP, also dropped a bombshell saying that few YSRCP MLAs and MPs are in touch with BJP’s central leadership and they would join BJP at an ‘appropriate time’.

Election Commission begins probe into YCP MLA SC status

0

Guntur District Joint Collector Dinesh Kumar issued a notice to YCP MLA Undavalli Sridevi to appear before him with proofs of her SC status on November 26 at 3 pm. He asked the Tadikonda MLA to bring documents and her relatives to prove that she belongs the Scheduled Castes category. The JC gave the notice to her after the Election Commission of India (ECI) ordered AP Chief Secretary to begin an official enquiry.

It may be recalled that President Ramnath Kovind ordered the ECI to enquire into the allegations made by the Legal Rights Protection Forum against the misuse of SC reservation by MLA Sridevi. The Forum complained to the President that Sridevi herself admitted to having converted to Christianity. So, she is no longer an Hindu dalit which is why she cannot enjoy SC reservation any longer. But Sridevi gave a false affidavit at the time of her filing nomination in last election and won from the Tadikonda SC reserved constituency in Guntur district.

Political circles are full of rumours that Sridevi’s excessive misuse of her SC status has caused her to lose sympathy of her own community associations. Moreover, the Modi government at the Centre is also very unhappy against Jagan Reddy Circar over gross misuse of SC, ST Atrocities cases against Opposition leaders. Such atrocities cases were also filed against former Assembly Speaker Kodela Sivaprasada Rao who eventually committed suicide.

YCP MP ‘Telugu medium’ question in Lok Sabha

0

YCP Boss and CM YS Jaganmohan Reddy has already put restrictions on the activities of his party MPs. His government has begun English medium in government schools despite all-round criticism from Opposition parties. At such a time, instead of toeing party line, YCP MP Raghurama Raju has spoken in favor of protecting Mother Tongue in the Lok Sabha. To underscore this, he posed a question in Telugu medium in the House. This was Raju’s supplementary to the main question asked by TDP MP Kesineni Nani protesting against removal of Telugu medium in AP schools.

Moreover, Raghurama Raju appealed to the Centre to make all necessary steps to protect regional languages as per the Articles 350 and 350a of the Constitution. Of these, Article 350 clearly mentions the need for promoting primary education in mother tongue to protect the rights of the children. This is provided in the Constitution as school education given in a foreign language will prove difficult for the children and their parents.

There are many challenges and limitations for teaching English medium in schools. But still Jagan Reddy is adamant even as opposition parties are stepping up their agitation at the state and national levels.

YCP MPs in anguish over Jagan’s crazy restrictions

0

CM Jagan Reddy’s crackdown on YCP MPs has stirred a hot debate within the party and outside. More alarming reports are coming out on this aspect. Now, these MPs are openly sharing their anguish. Jagan Reddy’s new restrictions are that they should not also greet or wish PM Modi, Amit Shah and other Union Ministers in the Parliament hall. How can an MP afford to turn his head away when they come across Modi or Shah during the sessions.

The YCP MPs are clearly alarmed at the crazy conditions being imposed on them. Is this the respect that Jagan Reddy is giving to four to five lakhs of people they represent in the Lok Sabha? Particularly, some YCP MPs are personally known to Modi-Shah because of their businesses or long political exposure. These MPs usually follow the tradition there to greet and hug the VIPs like PM and Ministers when they face each other in the lobbies or the Parliament hall.

Following the control measures, the MPs are wondering whether there is close watch on their movements during the Parliament session this time. Moreover, all the YCP MPs are asked to take permission from their party second-in-command Vijayasai Reddy and party Lok Sabha leader Mithun Reddy for any meeting with Union Ministers. If they fail to do so, Jagan has threatened to issue show cause notices.

Amaravati fate to be decided in six weeks

0

YCP Minister Botsa Satyanarayana is known for his confusing and conflicting statements. When it comes to Andhra Capital issue, he makes more and more complicated speeches. But, these days, he is speaking with a little clarity. His latest announcement is that the Experts Committee on Capital will give its report in six weeks time. Based on this report, the Jagan Reddy government will take a final decision.

If we look at any committee set up by YCP Circar, they are submitting reports as per the wishes and earlier statements of the ruling party leaders, Ministers and MLAs. Going by this, the committee report on Capital will also reflect only the sentiments of Mangalagiri MLA Alla Ramakrishna Reddy and the like.

However, emerging reports say that Jagan Reddy is no longer interested to totally shift Capital out of Amaravati. He has slowed down his jet speed considerably because of shocking treatments from the Courts and the Modi-Shah duo. But, Jagan Reddy may locate different departments at different locations. A final decision on AP Secretariat, Assembly and the like will be taken based on the report. Finally, clarity on Amaravati fate is expected in the next six weeks.

Jagan scraps order renaming Kalam Awards after furore

0

Amid a furore over renaming a state award named after former President A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy on Tuesday scrapped the order.

A day after a government order (GO) was issued changing the “Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Pratibha Puraskar Awards’ to “YSR Vidya Puraskars”, the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) government came under attack from various quarters.

According to officials, Jagan Mohan Reddy ordered scrapping of the order after it came to his notice. “He warned the officials and firmly said that the awards should continue in the name of Dr APJ Abdul Kalam,” they said.

The awards are to be given to meritorious students on National Education Day on November 11, the birth anniversary of India’s first Education Minister Moulana Abul Kalam Azad.

The Chief Minister also ordered officials to present awards in the names of Mahatma Gandhi, B.R. Ambedkar, Jyotirao Phule and Babu Jagjivan Ram.

The education department had on Monday issued an order renaming the awards after late Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy.

Popular as YSR, Rajasekhara Reddy was father of Jagan Mohan Reddy. Ever since YSRCP came to power in May, many welfare schemes were renamed. Most of the schemes are now named after YSR.

However, for the latest order the YSRCP government came under criticism from opposition parties, netizens and Abdul Kalam’s admirers.

Leader of opposition and former Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu tweeted the controversial order with the hashtag #YSRCPInsultsAbdulKalam.

“Dr. Kalam has accomplished much for the nation with his pioneering work and inspiring life. Jagan’s government changing ‘APJ Abdul Kalam Pratibha Puraskar” to “YSR Vidya Puraskar” is a shocking method of self-aggrandisement at the cost of disrespecting a much venerated man. Shameful!!” tweeted Naidu.

This was followed by tweets by many others, criticising the government for the order.

YCP giving Kapu caste colour to isolate Pawan?

0

The YCP used caste factor to successfully isolate and defeat the previous Chandrababu Naidu government. Now the ruling party began using the same caste factor to isolate Pawan Kalyan among his own Kapu community. YCP Minister Avanti Srinivas, who is also a Kapu by caste, is forced by the YCP coterie to make a caste-based attack on Jana Senani.

The roaring success of Vizag Long March has worried the government greatly. To overcome its impact, Minister Avanti has made shocking comments saying that Pawan Kalyan is behaving as if he is the only leader representing the Kapus. Avanti hit back at Pawan’s statement saying that YCP MP Vijayasai Reddy is the only MP who is fighting for AP rights effectively in Rajya Sabha.

Why is YCP giving caste colour to Pawan political activities? Analysts say that CM Jagan’s main target is to tarnish Pawan image among the BCs and non-Kapu youth. This can be achieved only if Pawan’s influence is limited to just Kapus alone. Already, BJP is criticising Jagan for encouraging conversions among BCs to dominate Andhra electoral politics forever with YSR family’s undisputed monopoly on Christian and Reddy votebanks.

What’s wrong with GO 2430: Ministers ask media

0

The Jaganmohan Reddy government has begun defending itself on the GO 2430 in the face of mounting protests from the media and the opposition parties. It is giving indications of the ruling party’s readiness for a showdown with the journalists associations. Ministers Perni Nani and Kodali Nani asked the media to explain to them what’s wrong with the GO.

Interestingly, the Ministers posed this question at a media conference. The journalists leaders have held protests through the day during the AP Formation Day celebrations. The government is apparently shaken at the harsh reaction of the national media.

The Ministers tried to explain that the GO is just intended to issue rejoinders to the journalists who write stories deliberately to tarnish the government’s image. The Ministers argue that the false media reports are hurting the morale of the officials. This is creating hurdles for the government to effectively plan and bring in development. But the journalists argue that the GO is not necessary as the officials can always issue rejoinders. Jana Senani Pawan Kalyan opposed the GO as this will rob the journalists of their freedom of expression.

Experts panel smart move on YCP Amaravati mission

0

The Jaganmohan Reddy government has already given all hints on its mission to destroy the Amaravati Global City dream. As part of this, the experts committee has restarted the smart process of taking the public opinion on shifting the Andhra Capital. Already, this exercise was finished in the past. After considering that, the previous TDP government finalized Amaravati area as Capital City considering its riverside position and also its centrally located advantage between the borders of Srikakulam and Anantapur districts.

Now, the latest experts committee led by retired IAS officer GN Rao is going back to the beginning. The committee is now asking for the public opinion through letters and emails. Minister Botsa Satyanarayana has already stated that the committee has begun its work long back and the capital shifting decision will be taken based on its report.

Analysts say that the committee is but a part of the bigger conspiracy of Jagan Circar which has been labelling Amaravati as one particular party and caste’s real estate project. It is clear now that the government is moving closer to make the big final step on Capital shifting sooner than later. Time is also running out that the CBI may act fast against Jagan going by changing political circumstances.

Is Jagan giving shocking return gifts? asks Kanna

0

The ruling YCP leaders are keeping mum despite bitter criticism of the BJP against the Jaganmohan Reddy government. Even MP Vijayasai Reddy and Minister Botsa Satyanarayana are not daring to launch counter attacks on the BJP. This has emboldened BJP AP President Kanna Laxminarayana who is now saying that he has never seen such an inefficient government like Jagan’s in his long political career. His latest specific attack is with regard to the hopeless situation of construction workers.

Because of Jagan policies, the construction industry is locked in steep crisis and its workers are getting very low wages of Rs 150 per head only. This is because of the lack of demand and unprecedented fall in construction activity all over the state. Kanna asked whether this is Jagan’s return gift to the AP people for giving him a massive victory with 151 MLA seats out 175. Kanna deplored that the YCP government is just interested in giving its party colours to government offices but not in the actual welfare of the people.

YCP MLA declares war against online sand mafia

0

Quite unexpectedly, AP Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy is facing stiff opposition to his online sand policy from his own party leaders. However, most ruling party leaders are preferring to be silent because of Jagan fear. But Nellore Rural MLA Kotamreddy Sridhar Reddy has openly expressed his displeasure and disappointment against the government. Known for many controversies, Kotamreddy has embarrassed Jagan by saying that a new online sand mafia has taken control ever since there is a change of government in the state.

Kotamreddy’s statements are giving big strength to TDP and Jana Sena. These parties are already agitating against Jagan’s failure to recreate jobs for construction workers. At such a time, the YCP leaders are in utter confusion as to what is happening in their party as their own MLA is making serious remarks.
Is Kotamreddy taking a calculated risk by openly opposing Jagan. A few weeks ago, CM himself called and told Kotamrreddy not to create problems for other party leaders in Nellore district. Still, the MLA is continuing to rebel. What more, he accused Sarvepalli MLA Kakani Govardhan Reddy’s followers of robbing sand from Pottepalem reach. Analysts say that Kotamreddy may be having a clear political strategy behind all this.

Amaravati demolition to benefit Jagan lands?

0

Why are CM Jagan and his Ministers bandwagon deliberately crippling Amaravati? Are they hell bent on proving right the anti-Amaravati statements of Telangana CM Chandrasekhara Rao? Like this, the TDP posed 25 questions to Jagan Circar in the wake of YCP Ministers’ comments. The TDP leaders also pointed out that Amaravati demolition has helped in the skyrocketing of prices of Jagan in Telangana Capital surroundings.

Ordinary people may wonder why no YCP Minister or MLA is opposing Jagan’s mission to destroy Amaravati. On this, the TDP says that along with Jagan, most of the YCP Ministers and leaders have lands and real estate interests nearer to the massive Outer Ring Road in Hyderabad. It would take several years for those lands to get better prices if Andhra Capital is developed as a potential global city.

Obviously, Jagan Team is strategically maligning Amaravati image. It is also not giving any hope of developing alternative Capital City in Andhra. As a result, the Andhra people and their NRI diaspora will have no choice but to invest in Hyderabad and develop their properties there. That is how faster and quicker rise in property values can be ensured there. In the whole game, Andhra development is going backwards by several years with no hope of any future.

TDP’s Vamsi to resign from MLA seat to join YCP

0

Gannavaram MLA Vallabhaneni Vamsi has finally decided to leave the TDP to join YCP soon. But CM Jaganmohan Reddy has already announced that whoever wants to join his party, they will have to first resign from their MLA or MP post. In accordance with this norm, Vamsi has decided to resign from MLA seat. He has already discussed this with his followers in the assembly constituency. Jagan has promised to give top position to Vamsi in YCP Krishna district unit.

Since YCP came to power, the Vamsi group has been facing lot of problems locally. Cases are filed against them. A case is also filed against Vamsi himself accusing him of distributing fake house site pattas to poor voters in last elections. At the same time, there is pressure from Ministers Kodali Nani and Perni Nani. Both of them are close friends of Vamsi regardless of their political affiliations. In fact, they arranged the meeting for Vamsi to meet Jagan recently.

Another reason being given for Vamsi’s decision is that he has differences with Ex Minister Devineni Umamaheswara Rao. Vamsi suspects that his rival groups are creating problems for him within TDP. Even if he cannot join YCP now, Vamsi has decided to join the BJP as a second choice.

YCP non-stop campaign on Devineni Avinash

0

In Vijayawada city, the Devineni and the Vangaveeti families have strong base and both these groups are opposing the ruling YCP. As a result, the YCP is struggling to establish its firm hold in AP cultural capital despite being in power. Devineni Avinash is Telugu Yuvatha President and he is considered a source of strength for TDP as he is heading a long-standing powerful group since the death of his father Nehru. So YCP firmly believes that the TDP will bite the dust in Vijayawada politics if Avinash joins it. But the young leader is totally unwilling to shift his loyalty.

However, the YCP social media is continuing its campaign putting out stories about Devineni Avinash leaving the TDP on a regular basis. This has created a lot of confusion among the Devineni followers. This is why Avinash is forced to issue clarification every time there’s a rumour. Now, Avinash is talking in terms of his firm resolve to continue in TDP till his last breath.

The YCP rumours about Avinash are gaining credibility because his father Nehru was once a close friend of YS Rajasekhar Reddy. This may be the reason why CM Jagan has a soft corner towards Avinash despite his strong opposition to YCP. No police case is filed against Avinash while Gannavaram MLA Vallabhaneni Vamsi and others are facing police harassment.

YCP MLA accused in Jyoti journalist murder

0

Ruling party Tuni MLA Dadisetti Raja is eventually accused of conspiring and murdering Andhra Jyoti journalist Katha Satyanarayana in East Godavari district. In a very casual manner, the police filed the murder case even as the MLA also took it very lightly. The ruling party leaders and MLAs are least bothered about the police cases since no serious action will be there.

The journalist murder took place near S Annavaram Venkateswara Swamy Temple in Tuni mandal. It was an open secret in the district that MLA Raja would be involved in the murder. It was because his followers are long harassing and threatening the journalist for writing negative stories in his paper. The local public are wondering how the YCP MLA indulged in many excesses and lost his patience within five months of his party rule.

There has been serious public backlash against the murder. This is first such case in several decades. TDP boss Chandrababu Naidu has expressed concern that CM Jaganmohan Reddy has converted Andhras into another Bihar state which is notorious for violence and lawlessness. Even Jana Senani Pawan Kalyan has wondered whether he is seeing Andhra Pradesh or some other state.
