Jagan is a fake leader, feels Lokesh

0

Chief Minister, Jagan Mohan Reddy, is a fake leader as his education is fake, his political party is a fake and his promises are fake while the entire administration itself is a fake, remarked TDP general secretary, Nara Lokesh, on Monday.

Observing that Jagan has deceived even the employees by not fulfilling the promise made to them on abolishing the Contributory Pension Scheme (CPS), Lokesh said in a press note released during his ongoing Yuva Galam pada yatra that the Chief Minister has taken the women too for a ride by not implementing total prohibition as promised before the polls. This psycho has even made his father as a witness for all the false promises that he has made to the people, Lokesh remarked.

Pointing out that Jagan on the floor of the Assembly has promised to hike the monthly pension to Rs 3,000 for widows, physically challenged and the old by July 8, 2023, the birth anniversary of his father, Lokesh asked as to why the people should repose faith in Jagan.

Earlier when the villagers of Tummalapenta Pattapupalem, in a memorandum raised several problems, Lokesh said all their issues will be addressed by the coming TDP government. All the welfare schemes for fishermen communities that were in force earlier will be reintroduced by the coming TDP government, he added.

The Konadinne villagers told Lokesh that they do not have proper drainage and drinking water facilities, Lokesh assured them once the TDP is back in power all their problems will be resolved. Stating that Jagan has completely neglected rural areas, Lokesh said the coming TDP government will certainly focus on the development of villages.

As the Yuva Galam entered Kavali town, people gathered in large numbers to have a glimpse of their leader. Since the roads are full with the public gathered on either side of the road, those who wanted to see Lokesh are seen climbing the roof-tops to greet their leader.

Jagan destabilised local bodies, says Lokesh

0

Local bodies in the State have been completely destabilised after Mr Jagan Mohan Reddy has become the Chief Minister and irrespective of the consent of the villagers several suburban areas have been merged into the nearby municipalities only to impose more taxes on them, said Nara Loeksh, TDP general secretary, here on Saturday.

The people from different villages of Allur mandal of Kavali Assembly segment met Lokesh during his pada yatra on Saturday and in a memorandum submitted to him they pointed out several problems being faced by them, including lack of drainage facility and no proper roads.

Responding to their problems, Lokesh said that soon after the TDP comes back to power all the pending works will be completed and the issues of the villages merged with the nearby municipalities will be resolved as per the opinion of the majority of the villagers. He also promised to supply safe drinking water to every doorstep and pucca houses will be allotted to those who do not have shelter.

When the villagers of Vudipigunta raised their issues, Lokesh said there is no development of rural areas after Mr Jagan has come to power. The coming TDP government will provide all the facilities in the rural areas, he said. Lokesh’s Yuva Galam pada yatra reached 150th day and he offered special poojas at the Goddess Poleramma in Allur.

The villagers of Vudurugunta, Tatichetlapalem and Yerrappagunta also complained of lack of basic amenities to them, including the drinking water. Lokesh told them to wait for a few more months till the TDP comes back to power and all their problems will be resolved on a war-footing basis.

When the fishermen community from Bangarupalyam wanted a bridge across the Buckingham Canal, Lokesh said that within months of the TDP assuming power the bridge will be constructed.

State in grip of fear as Jagan acting as don, says Lokesh

0

Condemning the attack on handloom workers of Dharmavarm by proprietor of the Aalaya Silks, Avinash, TDP general secretary, Nara Lokesh, here on Friday expressed serious concern that the State is in the grip of fear as Chief Minister, Jagan Mohan Reddy, is acting as a don while the ruling party leaders are indulging in goondaism with the support of the mafia.

In a press note released here during his Yuva Galam pada yatra on Friday, Lokesh said that the attack on handloom weavers in Dharmavaram by Avinash is the culmination of anarchy. “The ruling party which is expected to promote business activities in the State is encouraging goondaism,” Mr Lokesh said.

Unable to bear the criminal activities of the ruling party leaders, several prominent companies and businessmen moved out of the State, Lokesh said, adding that the criminality of Avinash has totally damaged the reputation of the State. Not only the YSRCP leaders but the businessmen associated with the ruling dispensation are ruling the roost in the State, he felt.

The only sin that the Dharmavaram weavers had committed is that they wanted the Vijayawada-based Aalaya Silk management to clear the dues worth lakhs of rupees for supplying the silk sarees, Lokesh said. When the weavers visited Vijayawada to get their dues, they were inhumanly subjected to various kinds of torture and this is the classic example of the Jagan’s jungle raj, Lokesh commented.

At the PSR Kalyana Mandapam of Rajupalem in Kovvur Assembly segment of combined Nellore district, several leaders from Tadepalli in Mangalagiri Assembly segment belonging to various political parties joined the TDP in the presence of Lokesh. They vowed to work hard for the success of the TDP in the coming elections.

Later in an interaction with the members of the Yanadi community, Lokesh pointed out that the Jagan rule has completely destabilised the ITDA. The coming TDP government will certainly take measures to strengthen the ITDA and all other welfare schemes will be reintroduced besides forming the Yanadi welfare corporation, Lokesh added.

At North Rajupalem, the farmers met Loeksh and narrated their cup of woes like no MSP for any farm product and the subsidies on fertilisers and pesticides have been withdrawn. Responding to them, Lokesh said that the YSRCP leaders are cheating the farmers in purchase of farm products and immediately after the TDP comes back to power not only MSP will be paid for all farm products but also all other issues will be resolved.

Even policemen resorting to suicide in Jagan’s rule, says Lokesh

0

Expressing serious concern that even policemen do not have security in the Jagan Mohan Reddy rule, TDP general secretary, Nara Lokesh, on Thursday said that policemen too are resorting to suicides.

Addressing a massive public meeting at Buchireddypalem in combined Nellore district during his Yuva Galam pada yatra, Lokesh said that at one time when a policeman was facing a problem the entire force in the whole State used to react and take some remedial measures. “Now even a policeman resorts to suicide there is no response from anyone. This is the prevailing situation in the State. When the police do not have any security one can easily imagine the common man,” Loeksh commented.

Regretting that a unable to endure the pressure mounted by the local YSRCP leaders in Tadipatri in Ananthapur district, local Dalit police inspector, Ananda Rao, has committed suicide, Lokesh said “Though Chief Minister, Jagan Mohan Reddy, is doing injustice to all your Lokesh will certainly do justice and the TDP will certainly come to the rescue of the family members of Ananda Rao,” Lokesh said.

Stating that immediately after the TDP assumes power, an investigation will be ordered into the reasons for Ananda Rao resorting to such an extreme step, Lokesh said that Minorities too do not have security in Jagan’s rule. Asking as to why the welfare schemes which were in force earlier were withdrawn by Jagan, the TDP general secretary said that soon after the TDP is back in power all these schemes will be reintroduced.

As Lokesh entered Buchireddypalem, he was given a warm welcome by the local TDP leaders. As the TDP national general secretary is on his pada yatra, people gathered in large numbers on either side of his way and began raising complaints against the State Government. They said that the revision of power charges and various taxes being imposed on them have become a huge burden on them. Responding to their complaints, Lokesh said once the TDP is into power again all the taxes will be reduced.

In a chit chat with media persons during his Yuva Galam pada yatra on Wednesday, Lokesh said Anil occupied 50 acres of land worth Rs 10 cr at Donthali in the name of one Chiranjeevi and Ajantha, who are his benamis while in Naidupet he occupied 58 acres worth Rs 100 cr in some benami names. Between Gudur and Chennur, the former minister has illegally occupied 120 acres, he added. Lokesh also released a book containing the promises made by Jagan Mohan Reddy to Nellore people during his pada yatra as the Leader of the Opposition before 2019 polls.

Later during an interaction with local businessmen, Lokesh said that they did not face any problems during the TDP regime and expressed apprehensions that in every likelihood a business holiday will be announced soon on the lines of crop holiday. On hearing the problems raised by the businessmen, Lokesh said the coming TDP government will introduce the ‘cost of doing business’ concept to bring down their expenditure.

Assuring them that the power charges too will be brought down by the coming TDP government, Lokesh said that the party MPs will fight for bringing down the tax on rice export. Soon after coming back to power taxes on fuel too will be reduced, he added.

At Kovvur, 200 persons joined the TDP in the presence of Lokesh. The pada yatra reached another milestone of 1900 km. When farmers from Kovvur met Lokesh he promised to resolve all their issues once the TDP is into power again.

Change has begun from Nellore as expected, says Lokesh

0

“I have said on January 27 itself that change will begin in Nellore and it already started here,” said an elated Nara Lokesh, TDP general secretary, on seeing the massive gathering for his public meeting on Tuesday.

Addressing a huge gathering at VRC Junction in Nellore city during his ongoing Yuva Galam pada yatra, Nara Lokesh felt that the time is not too far that the YSRCP has to pack up and leave the State. The enormous response to Yuva Galam, particularly in Nellore, is sending shock waves to Tadepalli palace, Lokesh remarked.

After paying rich tributes at the Anil Gardens campsite to legendary leader Alluri Seetharama Raju on his birth anniversary, Lokesh began his pada yatra on Tuesday and immediately entered the Nellore (Urban) Assembly segment. TDP incharge of Nellore city, Narayana, party senior leader Kotamreddy Srinivasulu Reddy, and others gave a rousing reception to their national general secretary.

Greeting the local people who gathered in large numbers standing on either side of the road, Lokesh moved to the public meeting venue. As the public assembled in massive scale for the meeting began wishing Lokesh all success, the TDP national general secretary said that despite owning lakhs of crores worth of properties, Chief Minister, Jagan Mohan Reddy, is still craving for money.

Observing that Jagan has been implementing the Raja Reddy constitution in the State for the past four years, Lokesh said that the time has come to show the power of the provisions of Dr BR Ambedkar’s Constitution. “Jagan always depends on police power while your Lokesh has the people’s power,” he stated.

Maintaining that the Chief Minister has the credit of cancelling over 100 welfare schemes, Lokesh said that Jagan has deceived the people by promising something before polls and taking a ‘U’ turn after getting elected. “How Jagan, who promised total prohibition before last elections, can approach the voters now,” he asked.

Stating that the ‘Bhavishaythuku Guarantee’ has been announced only on coming to know the problems of the common man, Lokesh said that Jagan has hit hard even on the future of the youth. “Where are the jobs and where is the job calendar,” he questioned. The coming TDP government will pay Rs 3000 as monthly unemployment allowance to the youth till they get jobs and employment notifications will be issued every year, Lokesh added.

TDP always fights for people’s welfare, says Lokesh

1

TDP always fights for the cause of the people and the theories that it believes, said Nara Lokesh, party general secretary, on Saturday.

Addressing a huge public gathering at Muthukuru of Sarvepalli Assembly segment in the combined Nellore district during his ongoing Yuva Galam pada yatra, Lokesh made it clear that those who are harassing the TDP activists will be taken to task immediately after the party assumes power in the State.

“I will stand by those who are carrying the TDP flag and those who are facing false cases now will be given proper recognition by the coming TDP government,” Lokesh said.

Expressing happiness at the massive turn out of the people for his public meeting, Lokesh said that the ruling party leaders started feeling shaky on learning about the huge public response.

“Despite causing several hurdles for my pada yatra, I am moving ahead and there is no question of taking a reverse turn. I am ready to face any kind of challenge,” the TDP national general secretary stated.

Listing out the large number of failures of this Government including the imposition of prohibition, releasing the job calendar and providing employment opportunities to the youth, Lokesh said that the TDP has announced the ‘Bhavishyathuku Guarantee’ only to come to the rescue of all the affected sections.

Making it clear that the TDP always works for the welfare of the people, Lokesh said all the welfare schemes announced at the recent Maha Nadu will be implemented in letter and spirit.

“I am not sure whether I can move so close to the people’s hearts like my grandfather, the late N T Rama Rao, and my father, Chandrababu Naidu. But I am assuring you all that I will certainly not damage their reputation. Several allegations have been made against me but no one can prove even a single charge,” Lokesh said.

Stating that Jagan Mohan Reddy is cashing in on the people’s daily needs, Lokesh said that the power charges, the fuel prices and even the prices of essential commodities are far higher in Andhra Pradesh than in any other State.

“I am assuring you all that once the TDP forms the next government the prices will be brought back to normal level so that the common man will have a comfortable life,” Lokesh said.

Lakhs of job opportunities will be created to solve the unemployment problem and issues like spurious seeds and fertilisers too will be addressed by the coming TDP regime, Lokesh said. The problems of the Backward Classes (BCs), Scheduled Castes (SCs) and the Scheduled Tribes (STs) will be resolved permanently with the schemes that are going to be implemented, he added.

Later, when the fishermen community of Muthukuru met Lokesh and raised their problems, the TDP national leader said all their issues will be addressed once the TDP forms the government.

Lokesh also assured the Krishnapatnam Port displaced that the TDP will immediately write to the State Government on the compensation due to be paid to them. “If this Government does not respond, the coming TDP regime will pay the compensation to you all with interest,” Lokesh told the affected farmers of the Krishnapatnam port.

TDP govt will provide 20 lakh jobs by inviting industries, says Lokesh

0

Telugu Desam Party (TDP) general secretary, Nara Lokesh, on Friday said that the coming TDP government will invite industries on a large scale to create 20 lakh job opportunities for the youth.

”In the YSRCP rule the future of the youth is under threat. Chief Minister, Jagan Mohan Reddy, has completely damaged the future of the youth, Lokesh said with serious concern while interacting with the villagers of Varagali of Gudur Assembly segment in combined Nellore district during his ongoing Yuva Galam pada yatra on Friday. Jagan has totally failed in fulfilling his promises on issuing job calendar, mega DSC and filling of vacant constable posts, he said.

But the TDP always keeps its promises made to the people and at least 20 lakh jobs will be created by the coming government headed by Chandrababu Naidu by inviting industries to the State on a large scale, Lokesh stated. Taking the merit of every individual into consideration the job opportunities will be provided to the youth, he added.

On learning about the suicides of farmers, Lokesh said that Jagan could not prevent the suicides in his own home district and how anyone can expect that he will do something for the farming community in the State to check the suicides. He also regretted that women and the physically challenged too are being neglected by the YSRCP Government.

Observing that the Chief Minister is doing great injustice to even private drivers and those who are in government service, including the APSRTC, Lokesh said that on learning about the problems being faced by various sections, TDP president, Chandrababu Naidu, has announced the Maha Sakthi programme.

Listing out various welfare schemes announced by the TDP to be implemented soon after the party is back in power, Lokesh said that even the reorganisation of the districts was done most unscientifically. The coming TDP government will merge Gudur into Nellore district as requested by the villagers of Varagali.

When the Tamminapatnam villagers raised problems being faced by them, Lokesh said that it is the duty of the State Government to see to it that necessary compensation is paid for any project displaced but the Jagan government has miserably failed in the matter.

Lokesh calls youth to save AP from Jagan

0

TDP general secretary, Nara Lokesh, on Thursday gave a call to the youth to come forward to save the State from this psycho rule.

In a face-to-face meeting with the youth at the Kakuvaripalem campsite in Gudur Assembly segment in the combined Nellore district, Lokesh felt that there should be better awareness among the youth on the prevailing conditions in the State.

No single industry has been opened in the State in the past four years, he said and added that leave alone inviting industrialists to launch their units in the State Chief Minister, Jagan Mohan Reddy, is chasing out the existing ones. Amara Raja, Reliance and Lulu are the best examples of this, he said.

Maintaining that one capital and decentralisation of development is the policy of the TDP, Lokesh said that Rayalaseema has been converted into an electronic and automobile hub during the TDP regime while several Information Technology (IT) companies have been launched in Visakhapatnam. But Jagan totally destroyed the State and turned Andhra Pradesh into a ganja hub, he said.

Immediately after the TDP forms the next government job calendar will be issued every year and the Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) will be strengthened on the lines of the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC), Mr Lokesh said.

Besides paying a monthly unemployment allowance of Rs 3,000 each the youth will be provided free bus travel facility, Lokesh said. All the vacant posts will be filled and employment opportunities will be provided through public and private sectors, he said and stated that during the last TDP regime eight lakh jobs were provided to the youth.

On visiting the silica sand mining area, Lokesh said that Jagan and other ruling party leaders are minting money with the sale of silica sand.

During the TDP regime with the initiative taken by the visionary leader, Chandrababu Naidu, the farmers could cultivate lands with the help of drip sprinklers provided by the government, Loeksh recalled. Farmer-friendly Naidu has spent Rs 1250 cr for micro irrigation, he added.

Jagan feeling shaky on huge response to Yuva Galam, says Lokesh

0

Chief Minister, Jagan Mohan Reddy, is totally feeling insecure on learning about the massive response to the Yuva Galam pada yatra in the past 140 days, said TDP general secretary, Nara Lokesh, on Wednesday.

Addressing a huge public meeting at Kota of Gudur Assembly segment in Nellore district as part of his ongoing pada yatra, Lokesh felt that Jagan is under frustration not knowing about his future. Observing that several attempts have been made to create hurdles to the Yuva Galam, Lokesh stated that “We are not scared of even bombs and how we are feared of eggs.”

Pointing out that Jagan, while in Opposition, launched an agitation for special category status during his pada yatra in Nellore district, Lokesh said that the people trusted him and voted the YSRCP to power in State besides electing a total of 31 MPs, including the members of the Rajya Sabha. “These MPs who should fight for the special category status are indulging in various kinds of illegal activities,” Lokesh said pointing out that one MP is an accused of killing ‘Babai’ (Paternal uncle of Jagan), one MP is busy saving his son who is involved in Delhi liquor scam and like this.

Expressing serious concern that Andhra Pradesh is now recording one murder for every hour and one rape for a day, the TDP national general secretray said that Jagan has cheated even women in the State by discontinuing various welfare schemes. “How the Chief Minister, who promised total prohibition, can go to the people to ask for votes,” Lokesh questioned.

Later when the toddy-tappers brought their problems to the notice of Lokesh, he said that once the TDP is into power all their issues will be resolved on a war footing basis. Employment opportunities will be provided to them by setting up Neera cafes,, he said.

When the villagers of Kota raised several issues haunting them, Lokesh said that Jagan has totally neglected the welfare of SCs and STs too and the TDP will take all possible measures to resolve their problems once the party is back in power. All basic facilities will be provided by the coming TDP government, Lokesh told the villagers.

0

Expressing concern at the agony of the fishermen in the State, TDP general secretary, Nara Lokesh, here on Tuesday assured the community that within 100 days of the TDP forming the next government the GO 217 which is aimed at hitting them below their belt will be revoked.

In a face-to-face programme with fishermen at Tadimedu campsite of Gudur Assembly segment in Nellore district as part of his Yuva Galam pada yatra, Lokesh said that during Chief Minister, Jagan Mohan Reddy’s rule matter is weak but publicity is at its peak. Observing that he has thorough knowledge of the issue of Pulicat Lake, Lokesh said soon after the TDP is back in power the silt will be removed.

“Discussions will be held with the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister to permanently solve the problems of fishermen. Also, the fishermen from the neighbouring States and the steamers from Tamil Nadu will be prevented from entering Andhra Pradesh for hunting,” he said.

Pointing out that though the journey in the divided Andhra Pradesh began with a Rs 16,000 cr deficit budget, Lokesh said that Chandrababu Naidu as the chief minister of the State did justice for all sections. The State was on top in aqua exports during the TDP regime and Rs 800 cr was spent for the welfare of fishermen community in five years by the TDP, he stated.

Recalling how the TDP helped the community in several ways, Lokesh promised to further strengthen the Chandranna Bheema scheme and a separate legislation will be enacted for the welfare of the Backward Classes (BCs).

When the aqua farmers from Chittamuru raised their problems, Lokesh said that Jagan totally destroyed the aqua culture for ‘J’ tax and even the facility to pay subsidies to them during the TDP regime was withdrawn. “I am promising all of you that once the TDP forms the next government power will be supplied at Rs 1.50 per unit for aqua farmers,” he added.

When the other villagers of Chittamuru complained that there is no drainage facility for them due to which they are facing mosquito menace, Lokesh said that all the basic facilities will be provided by the coming TDP government. Safe drinking water will be supplied to every doorstep in the State by the next TDP regime, Lokesh added.

1

TDP general secretary, Nara Loeksh, on Monday promised to clear all the pending bills soon after the party assumes power in the State.

Participating in Rachabanda programme during his Yuva Galam pada yatra with the villagers of Annamedu on Monday, Lokesh said that the people are really facing all kinds of difficulties during the YSRCP rule and even the bills for those poor who have built their houses under certain welfare schemes during the TDP regime are still pending. Expressing concern that due to the sale of spurious seeds and fertilisers the farmers are facing problems, Lokesh said that all these issues will be completely checked by the coming TDP government.

Also, Rs 20,000 will be paid for every farmer per annum and minimum support price will be provided for all farm products, he said, adding that all the pending projects will be completed. “On learning about the problems being faced by various sections of people, the Maha Sakthi scheme was announced in Maha Nadu,” Lokesh observed.

A large number of YSRCP activists from Sullurpet Assembly segment joined the TDP at Annamedu campsite in the presence of Lokesh. The people are no longer able to tolerate the atrocities of the ruling party, Mr Lokesh said and stated that whoever wants to join the TDP will be welcomed.

When the Madaphalam villagers narrated their cup of woes to Lokesh, he said that sand mafia is ruling the roost in the State now and even the Annamayya project was washed away due to the failure of the State Government which claimed 61 innocent lives. Jagan turned AP into old Bihar, says Lokesh

0

Chief Minister, Jagan Mohan Reddy, tuned Andhra Pradesh into old Bihar and fixed prices for murders and rapes, remarked Nara Lokesh, TDP general secretary, on Saturday.

Almost all the sections are victims during the YSRCP rule and the pastors are no exception, he observed. During the Carona pandemic the YSRCP did not come to the rescue of the pastors who faced several problems, Lokesh said and promised to introduce a universal health scheme immediately after the TDP forms the coming government and pastors will be issued health cards as part of this scheme.

“I am assuring you all that all the welfare schemes will be reintroduced by the coming TDP government, and we will ensure that the pastors need not approach anyone for their welfare,” Lokesh maintained. He also promised to allocate funds for Christians as per their population ratio.

As the Yuva Galam reached close to the Sri City, Lokesh recalled that during the TDP regime as the minister for IT and Industries he has taken the initiative to launch the Foxconn company in Sri City with an investment of Rs 12,700 cr which is providing employment to 14,000 women. What is surprising is that after Mr Jagan came to power the same company is planning to launch its another unit in Telangana as the management is unable to bear the torture for the ‘J’ tax, Lokesh observed.

When the ST Colony residents of Tirumalapudi mentioned their problems in their memorandum, Lokesh said that immediately after the TDP is back in power the demand to issue pattas to tribals will be examined for the lands that they are now cultivating.

The farmers of Machavaram complained that the local YSRCP leaders have colluded with the Premier Explosives Limited company and are trying to grab their lands at a very cheaper price, Lokesh said that the TDP will certainly take the matter to the notice of the Chief Secretary and the district collector. “If necessary the matter will be raised on the floor of the Assembly in the coming session,” he added.

Stating that the TDP will certainly stand by the farmers for their struggle, he felt that all sections of people should come together to unitedly wage a war against this autocratic rule. “The State has been experiencing the Raja Reddy constitution for the past four years,” Lokesh noted.

SCs, STs are subjected to discrimination in Jagan’s rule, says Lokesh

0

The Scheduled Castes (SCs) and Scheduled Tribes (STs) are being subjected to discrimination during Jagan Mohan Reddy’s rule and the State Government is snatching away the rights of the STs, observed TDP general secretary, Nara Lokesh, on Friday.

Several representatives of the tribal community from Pigilam village of Venkatagiri Assembly segment in a memorandum brought their problems, including lack of drinking water facility and roads in their village, to the notice of Lokesh.

Responding to them, Lokesh stated that the State Governemnthas completely diverted the Rs 5,355 cr ST sub-plan funds and immediately after the TDP is into power all their issues will be resolved on a war footing basis.

Later the villagers of Pigilam met him and wanted the pending works of the Telugu Ganga branch canal to be completed soon after the TDP is back in power. When they brought other issues also to his notice, Lokesh said all the necessary basic facilities will be provided by the coming TDP government and the pending works of the Telugu Ganga branch canal also will be completed.

When the SC Colony residents of the village told Lokesh that they are yet to get pucca houses, the TDP general secretary promised to build the houses soon after the TDP forms the next government.

The SC Corporation also will be strengthened and proper representation will be given for SCs politically, Lokesh said.

Lokesh promises to adopt handloom workers soon after TDP in power

0

“Immediately after the TDP forms the coming government I will adopt the handloom workers in the State and a separate action plan will be formulated to promote the handloom sector,” said Nara Lokesh, TDP general secretary, on Wednesday.

During an interaction with handloom workers at the Dakkili campsite of Venkatagiri Assembly segment in Nellore district before beginning his Yuva Galam pada yatra on Wednesday, Lokesh recalled that it is the TDP that introduced Janata Clothes scheme to come to the rescue of the handloom workers. Observing that a new concept of Weavers Sala has been introduced at Mangalagiri during the TDP rule, Lokesh promised to set up a textile park at Venkatagiri with latest technology soon after the TDP is ruling again.

Pointing out that several welfare schemes were introduced during the TDP regime for the welfare of the weavers, he regretted that at least 60 weavers had committed suicide during the YSRCP rule. “Chief Minister, Jagan Mohan Reddy, did not extend any help to the bereaved family members of these weavers who had comiitted suicide,” Lokesh said.

The TDP national general secretary is of the opinion that handloom workers will get benefits only when the sector is linked to the market and said that the TDP is committed to protecting the handloom sector. Lokesh also promised to prepare an action plan to differentiate between handloom and powerloom and identity cards will be issued for the weavers beyond political affiliations.

Stating that an MoU has been entered into with the Tata company for a pilot project in Mangalagiri to weave sarees and these sarees will be marketed through Tata company, Lokesh said that if this becomes a success it will be extended to the whole State. “My mother and my wife Venkatagiri sarees and I am promising you that I will take the responsibility to come to your rescue. Also, necessary assistance will be extended to the families of the weavers who had committed suicide,” Lokesh said.

Later at a meeting with Christians, Lokesh stated that the TDP, soon after coming back to power, is planning to divide the Minorities Corporation and set up separate corporations for Muslims and Christians. “Only then we will get an opportunity to pay honorarium to pastors,” he said and added that the TDP-affiliated units are also being strengthened. “I am always available for pastors and they can meet me anytime,” Lokesh told them.

Construction is TDP’s policy while destruction is YSRCP’s, says Lokesh

In a vengeful attitude the local YSRCP activists damaged the vegetable shop in Kurnool as the vendor, Ramu, has offered harathi to Lokesh during his Yuva Galam pada yatra. On learning about this, Lokesh decided to extend financial assistance to the vegetable vendor.

“While Chandrababu Naidu as the chief minister of the State is known for development as he builds structures, Chief Minister, Jagan Mohan Reddy, in known for destruction and he demolishes the structures constructed by Chandrababu,” remarked Lokesh on Tuesday during his pada yatra after announcing the financial assistance to the vegetable vendor. These are YSRCP’s destruction and TDP’s construction policies, he added.

Meanwhile at Rapur village in Venkatagiri Assembly segment, people gathered in large numbers to have a glimpse of Lokesh during the Yuva Galam and began narrating their cup of woes to him. Responding to them, Lokesh promised to bring down the taxes and the power tarif soon after the TDP assumes power besides supplying three gas cylinders for every house per annum.

When the Dalits of the same village met Lokesh and wanted TDP support for SC categorisation, he said that his party is committed for the welfare of the downtrodden sections of society and do social justice to them. Also, the TDP will certainly give preference to Madigas as per their population ratio, he said.

When the villagers of Siddavaram complained of liquor shops on the way the children go to schools, Lokesh said that immediately after the TDP is into ruling again all such liquor shops will be removed. “Jagan is more interested in ‘J’ brand than the welfare of the people,” Lokesh said and added that the coming TDP government will also take up construction of internal roads in all the rural areas.

Decentralisation of development is possible only with TDP: Lokesh

0

Maintaining that the Yuva Galam’s main goal is progress of the youth, TDP general secretary, Nara Lokesh, on Thursday said that decentralisation of development is possible only with the TDP.

Participating in the ‘Hello Lokesh’ programme at the Bommavaram camsite of Atmakur Assembly segment in Nellore district, Lokesh said that the TDP’s slogan is “administration should be centralised and development should be decentralised.” During Chandrababu Naidu’s regime Andhra Pradesh was known as the job capital of India while during the YSRCP rule the State has turned into ganja capital of India, Lokesh remarked.

“None other than the MLC of ruling YSRCP, Anantha Babu, is known as ganja don. The YSRCP leaders are known to be supplying ganja to other States,” Lokesh remarked. Soon after the TDP is back in power, a war will be declared against ganja, he added.

The TDP strived hard to transform Rayalaseema into an automobile and electronics hub while almost all the IT companies were set up in Visakhapatnam during the Chandrababu Naidu regime, the TDP national general secretary said the party worked hard to develop each district in a separate manner.

When the youth made several complaints to Lokesh that even employment opportunities were not available during the YSRCP rule, Lokesh said that all the problems will be resolved once the TDP forms the next government.

“Soon after the government is formed by the TDP all the mistakes committed by this government will be corrected and all the vacant posts will be filled through a perfect job calendar,” he added.

Maintaining that justice will be done for the Somasila project displaced, Lokesh promised to promote the SC, ST youth as industrialists. Enough employment opportunities will be provided to the youth and the migrations from the State in search of employment will be completely checked, he stated.

Later at a meeting with pastors from Atmakur Assembly segment, Lokesh said that Christians too are victims in Jagan’s rule. Immediately after the TDP is back in power all the steps will be taken for the welfare of Christian community, including pastors, he said.

The villagers of Gudigunta wanted an irrigation and drinking water facility, the TDP general secretary promised to take all possible measures by the coming TDP government for the welfare of the villagers. At Chilakalamarri, Lokesh distributed pamphlets containing schemes promised by the TDP in the name of ‘Bhavishaythuku Guarantee’.

Lokesh promises Rs 20k to each farmer every year by TDP govt

1

Stating that farmers are the worst-affected during the YSRCP rule, TDP general secretary, Nara Lokesh, on Wednesday promised to pay Rs 20,000 each every year to each farmer to rescue the farming community from the predicament that they are witnessing during this YSRCP rule.

Pointing out that loans below Rs 50,000 were waived soon after the TDP came to power in 2019, Mr Lokesh said that seeds, fertilisers and pesticides too were supplied on high subsidy. The sole aim of his party is transforming agriculture into a profitable profession, he added.

Terming Minister for Agriculture, Kakani Goverdhan Reddy, as a miserable failure, Lokesh promised to pay compensation to the Somasila project displaced immediately after the TDP is into power again. During an interaction with the farmers in Nellore during his Yuva Galam pada yatra on Wednesday, Lokesh said that Kakani Goverdhan Reddy is busy with his court cases and the CBI inquiry against him on some theft in the local court in which the Minister is allegedly involved. How can such a Minister concentrate on people’s welfare, the TDP national general secretary asked.

Observing that the TDP always stood by the farmers and implemented various welfare schemes for the farming community, Lokesh pointed out that the Agriculture Research Centres launched during the TDP regime are now closed as the State Government could not pay the power charges. One can easily imagine how this Government will initiate measures for the benefit of the farmers, he said. Horticulture research centers will be set up and all the necessary assistance will be extended by the coming TDP government, Lokesh said.

Several farmers brought their problems to Lokesh’s notice while some said that their lands were being illegally occupied by the local YSRCP leaders with the support of the MLAs. They said that they are not even allowed to visit their lands and even the names in the records are being changed. Lokesh assured them that their problems will be resolved once the TDP is back in power.

The Yuva Galam crosses another milestone of 1600 km at Chunchuluru of Marripadu mandal in Atmakur Assembly segment where Lokesh laid the foundation for horticulture society. All the steps will be taken by the coming TDP government to set up the society here, Lokesh said.

Lokesh goes emotional as Yuva Galam completes in Rayalaseema

0

TDP general secretary, Nara Lokesh, on Tuesday became emotional as his Yuva Galam pada yatra concluded in Rayalaseema and entered Nellore district.

Bowing to Rayalaseema land, Lokesh profusely thanked all those TDP leaders and activists besides the common public who extended their cooperation in making the Yuva Galam a tremendous success.

While the senior TDP leaders bid farewell to Lokesh, the senior party leaders from combined Nellore district including Beeda Ravichandra Yadav, Somireddy Chandramohan Reddy, Anam Ramnarayana Reddy, Mekapati Chandrasekhar Reddy, Bollineni Venkata Rama Rao, Anam Venkata Ramana Reddy and several others warmly welcomed their national general secretary.

Giving an open challenge to the 49 MLAs and eight MPs elected from Rayalaseema to come for an open challenge on the development of the region. “I will come alone and will prove that the region has developed only during the TDP regime,” Lokesh said.

Stating that though 49 MLAs and eight MPs got elected from Rayalaseema, they did nothing for the progress of the region, Lokesh said that not even a single project has been completed and not even a single industry has been set up in Rayalaseema after the YSRCP came to power. Standing in front of the flexies erected outside the Budvel campsite, Loeksh threw a selfie challenge to the YSRCP leaders stating that he is ready to show what the TDP has done for the region.

“Immediately after forming the next TDP government all the promises made for the region in Mission Rayalaseema will be fulfilled. It is the TDP that completed several projects and other developmental works in Rayalaseema,” Mr Lokesh said.

“With all your blessings I have successfully completed the first leg of my Yuva Galam pada yatra that I have undertaken with the goal of providing reassurance to the people who have fallen victim to the anarchy in the past four years,” Lokesh maintained.

Maintaining that he can never forget the affection shown by the people of Rayalaseema for 124 days during his pada yatra, the TDP general secretary said that after personally witnessing the sufferings of the Rayalaseema people he is pushed into mental agony.

“As the son of this soil I have decided to put an end to the migrations from this region and also to the problems of the farming community,” Nara Lokesh added.

Lokesh promises justice to Somasila project displaced families

0

TDP general secretary Nara Lokesh’s pada yatra entered Badvel Assembly segment from Rajampet where he is given a rousing reception by former MLA Ms Vijayamma, party leader, Ritish Reddy and Kivalya Reddy, daughter of former minister, Anam Ramnarayana Reddy. Earlier, Lokesh offered prayers at Lord Anjaneya Swamy temple and performed special poojas.

The villagers of Chintavaripalli in a memorandum submitted to Lokesh complained that though their village is under the submerged areas of the Somasila project and the land has been acquired, no compensation is paid to them yet. They appealed to Lokesh to take steps to get compensation for them under the Land Acquisition Act-2013.

Responding to their plea, Loeksh said that Chief Minister, Jagan Mohan Reddy, who does not know how to construct irrigation projects, is not paying even compensation for the eligible project-affected people. “I will write to the State Government to pay the compensation immediately and if this Government does not respond I am assuring you that the coming TDP government will certainly pay the compensation,” Lokesh told the villagers.

When the farmers of Reddipalli raised their issues and also wanted juice factories and cold storage plants to be set up in their areas, Lokesh said that the Jagan Government had turned into a bane for the Rayalaseema farmers.

He said that soon after the TDP forms its government all the schemes that were in force earlier will be revived and all the subsidies will be restored to the farmers. Cold storage plants and juice factories too will be set up as per their demand, Lokesh added.
